Социальная сеть «В Контакте» как дополнительный инструмент обучения студентов факультета «Международных отношений» в реалиях 10-х годов XXI века : магистерская диссертация / The Social Network "V Kontakte" as an additional tool for teaching students of the faculty of "International Relations" in the realities of the 10s of the XXI century

А., Ilinykh, V. A. January 2019 (has links)
This study is devoted to the problem of the development of methods of teaching a foreign language in higher school. In particular at the faculty of “Theory and History of International Relations”, department “International Relations”. Guidelines for teaching English language students of undergraduate programs "International Relations" are in the master's thesis proposed. The main content of the thesis is disclosed in the chapters: "The theoretical basis for the use of information technology in interactive teaching of foreign languages" and "Technology of interactive teaching of foreign languages using social networks." In conclusion, the conclusions obtained in the course of the study. Applications include questionnaires. The relevance of the topic is due to the trends towards the constant introduction of new methods of teaching English, especially information and computer technologies, as well as the need to improve the efficiency and quality of teaching a foreign language in the context of modern realities. The use of social networks as an educational resource is an insufficiently developed topic from a scientific point of view, which is also one of the factors of importance of this scientific work. The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that it offers a detailed description of the use of the social network "V Kontakte" as a tool for developing relevant language skills and competencies among bachelor students in the faculties of "International Relations". A detailed algorithm of actions was given for teachers who are not familiar with this service and a methodological justification was given for the possibility of applying these recommendations.

The core problem of this work concerns the need to adapt the school community, due to the necessary reconfiguration of teaching and learning strategies from the use of new Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) as teaching tools in educational environments. The main objective is to analyze the adaptability process of learners and educators to this process through the case study of Project New Technologies Experimental Gymnasium (GENTE in portuguese), developed at André Urani Municipal School at Rocinha, Rio de Janeiro. The secondary objective is to understand how the mediation of media consumption occurs\happens on the environment in which the use of ICTs has gained centrality. From a theoretical point of view, we intend to discuss aspects of the interconnections between the fields of Communication and Education, from a reference that has as its foundation the production of authors affiliated with the well-known School of Latin American Cultural Studies, in dialogic position to theories of media education courses, highlighting Educational Communication and Media-education, as well as some assumptions of the so-called Education for the twenty-first century. For data collection a primarily qualitative approach was chosen, using exploratory research, participative\ interactiveobservation and in-depth interviews. Data analysis was based on the use of the Collective sSbject Discourse theory (DSC) and the software developed for the application of this technique. Among the main results that we sought to achieve, we can\should\must emphasize, adding scientific knowledge that can somehow work with public policies of education and subsequent actions of the use of ICTs in school public environments through the account of a real case of adaptive collective commitment to make the use of new technologies an ally in the mission of educating and preparing students for civic life, without losing sight of the new challenges ineducation, such as the promotion of autonomy and child and youth participation

Výzvy pro CIO / Challenges for CIO

Kouřimský, Vlastimil January 2011 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the chosen current trends of ICT. The CIO represents the crucial person of the whole thesis. The aim of the thesis is to describe and comment on the connection of the role of the CIO with trends and challenges he/she has to face in recent times. To fulfill this aim it is necessary to realize the current trends through the integration of surveys of the renowned companies dealing with the ICT market. The field overhang of these studies dedicated to technologies is essential. The benefit of the thesis consists of the connection of the business and ICT at the CIO level. The abstraction from technical specifications of the particular trend as well as from the managerial point of view creates an image of the challenges for the CIO in the company context. The introductory part of the thesis reflects the position of ICT in companies and creates an image of the internal connection of the company as a whole. The core of the main part of the thesis contains chapters dedicated to the trends in particular: data analysis, content analysis, social business, big data, ICT security and education. Each of these main chapters describes the current state of the ICT field and its role in the company context. The last part of each main chapter deals with the benefit and the role of the CIO for the mentioned field. CIO's influence on the challenge, allies and possible risks of the trend are mentioned. At the end of the thesis the benefit of the CIO for the company and his/her role of facing challenges which come from the ICT field are evaluated. CIO plays an important role as a responsible person for particular challenges. Nevertheless, as it is apparent from the thesis, the CIO is not the only important part of the system that is necessary to create the maximum from each challenge.

Införandeav programmering i grundskolan : - ett multiintressentperspektiv

Hoff, Camilla January 2019 (has links)
As the world changes, the European Parliament   and the Swedish Government have decided to digitize the school system. The   implementation of digitalization in the Swedish school system is supposed to   take place in a short period of time. In the subjects of mathematics and   technology, the teachers are supposed to use programming in their teaching.   Programming is a subject in which most teacher lack knowledge and they are   the ones who will ultimately introduce programming into their classes. This   report examines the needs of the teachers in relation to the plans of the   school management and the plans of the municipality, regarding the   introduction of programming in mathematics and technology education.     The report is based on a qualitative   cross-sectional study during the time period for the introduction in the   Swedish school. The information was obtained via semi-structured interviews   with three teachers and a school leader at one school, as well as a   digitization strategist, in a local municipality to Stockholm. The school and   municipalities were chosen by stratified selection combined with the   proximity principle and the material was analyzed by deductive thematic   analysis.   The study shows that many interacting factors   affect the teachers' introduction of programming in teaching. These factors   are external influencing factors such as government decisions, curricula and   the municipality's digitization strategies, but also school management   decisions, functioning technology and infrastructure. Tools such as teaching   aids, concerns about lack of time through the introduction of another element   in teaching and the need for competence development are also important   factors that influence the introduction of programming in mathematics and   technology teaching. The teachers are largely dependent on competence   development as they are now expected to teach in what they feel to be an   almost entirely new topic.   The following factors that, according to this   study, will benefit the teachers in their introduction of programming in   teaching is as follows. An opportunity to get education in programming and   time for teachers to joint reflection and discussion about teaching in   programming, preferably both in the municipality and in their own school.   Clear information on how the teachers 'continuing education should go and   what requirements are placed on them, but also help in relation to the   increased amount of content in the teaching could also improve the teachers'   opportunities. Finally, support in finding tools which can help teachers to   use programming in mathematics and technology teaching would be helpful to   the teachers.

No. of bitstreams: 1 rafael.pdf: 1101995 bytes, checksum: 934dbb8851fdf61d3093946b65c5317c (MD5) Previous issue date: 2011-02-18 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The present work follows an investigation about the presence of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) in the processes of initial teacher training in Santa Catarina‟s public universities. We are interested in questioning the use that undergraduate students and teachers make of ICT, both in the social context as in training. We assume that the moves of the so-called "information society " are pressuring institutions - including educational institutions - to incorporate ICT into their practices, as well as in different contexts of social and professional life. At the same time, enrollment in the educational system by a generation of students who grew up in a digital culture and society demands teaching and learning processes where these technologies can be incorporated, not in the material or instrumental sense, but as a form of a culture. In this sense, we assume, on one hand, that the uses of ICT in different contexts - social and training - are essential to cement the incorporation of these technologies in educational practices and, on the other hand, the importance of the teacher in this process and therefore the relevance of initial teacher training for the living experience on the use of ICT. In the survey, we found that, beyond the gap of teacher‟s knowledge and uses of ICT towards their students, the university, in general, has contributed little to these living experiences. At the same time, the uses that are made of ICT in the context of initial training reflect a dichotomy between policies for integrating ICT in schools and preparing new teachers to work in these contexts, because these are predominantly instrumental and restrictive uses, even among students. Despite the perceived importance that ICT takes among students and teachers, its use as a mere work tool limits the experience on the potential of their use in teaching practices of future teachers / A presente dissertação decorre de uma investigação sobre a presença das TIC (Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação) nos processos de formação inicial de professores, nas universidades públicas de Santa Catarina.

Využití virtuální reality ve vzdělávání dospělých / Using of Virtual Reality in Education of Adults

Sýkorová, Lucie January 2020 (has links)
This thesis focuses on the use of virtual reality in adult education. The virtual reality is a new technology, which can be used in many areas, including adult education. The concept of the virtual reality is ambiguous, therefore the first part of the thesis defines and characterizes this concept and describes its main effects. The main topic of the theoretical part of this work is existing knowledge about the use of the virtual reality and application of this knowledge to adult education. Virtual reality cannot be considered an absolutely perfect tool in all educational situations. It is therefore important to point out basic advantages and limits of its use in adult education. All these areas have been investigated by quantitative research. Keywords: Virtual reality, ICT in education of adults, using of virtual reality, virtual education, new trends in education
