Pensamento crítico-teórico de Aquino Corrêa: considerações sobre crítica e teoria literárias em Mato Grosso / Critical-theoretical thought of Aquino Corrêa: considerations about literary criticism and theory in Mato GrossoDelbem, Nancy Lopes Yung 07 May 2008 (has links)
This work looks for to explore point of view of the Aquino Corrêa that ahead estimates the adoption of a critical behavior of the poem seated in the analysis of the form and the content, admitting the existence of a norm of use of the language in the literary modality capable to express in the workmanship the distinction of these two entities: the form and the contents or the deep substance. The perspective adopted for the accomplishment of this study was of analysis of the critical speech with that Aquino Corrêa analyzes these two entities to determine the function of the workmanships in the interior of the literary system of where they had emerged. The basis of our argument is in his biobibliography we choose the basic points that support the particular style of the writer and the criteria that the same defends to conceive the high text to the literary category by means of the treatment excused to the form and the content. The theoretical basic principle of this thesis is based in the conception of the universal nature of the literary text consisting in the place where the content in such a way gains definitive form for the process of writing how much of analysis of the text implying in essential procedures to the literary accomplishment of the critical one, which analyzes the workmanship configured in the simultaneous unclasping of a structure and a thought, in the solidary amalgam of a form and an individual experience. In this relation they distinguish it literature while creative art and the literary studies as one specialized approach from the text that it makes possible to the critical one to translate creative of literature the experience through specific procedures that subsidize it and they legitimize it. In this prism where the text is analyzed in its structural categories and the relations of means with the author, the literary language subordinates it definitive linguistics norms that they function in such a way as regulating of the procedures of elaboration as of critical evaluation of the text, promoting the purification of the excesses in such a way of the revolutionary language of the modern movement how much of the lusófilos residues of the traditionalists (LEITE, 2006:31).

A new generation of contemporary Sardinian writers in between Italian and limba : forms and reasons for a regional characterization / Una nuova generazione di scrittori sardi.
This thesis aims to study the literary phenomenon called «Sardinia nouvelle vague» and more particularly the forms and reasons of linguistic mixture between Sardinian and Italian, which characterize the works of Sardinian writers published between 1995 and 2010. Through a diachronic and synchronic study of Sardinian literature we want to show that we are not talking about something new. In fact, the "Sardinian literary renaissance" is the exploit of some authors who take advantage of a climate of strong national vitality, of regional languages, but, above all, a new freedom of expression, inaugurated by the works of Sergio Atzeni in the mid 90s. Despite significant differences in the forms and effects of mixture of language used in novels examined, this feature of the contemporary Sardinian literary scene marks a special attention by the authors to the language spoken on the island in different eras portrayed, whether it's Sardinian, regional Sardinian or Italian. Moreover, the choice of the mix of Sardinian and Italian emphasizes the value attributed to the forms of expression typical of Sardinia as part of a representation of the peculiarities and internal issues, related to the relationship between progress and tradition.

What is reading? What is writing? Or more generally, what is literature and how is it ‘manufactured’? These are Maurice Blanchot’s obsessive questions to which he tries to answer. This continuous questioning pushes him to build up a literary space in order to make queries with regard to the issue of nomination, a key concept of his works. Our thesis aims at building the genealogy of this topic of the nomination process in Maurice Blanchot’s works and at thinking about the literary space which it brings to light. We will focus specially on the relationship reader-writer through the difference between ordinary language and literary language. We do not see writing and reading as two mechanical activities of writing down words and decoding them, but as two intellectual processes which make possible what we will call in our thesis the impossible nomination from Blanchot’s works. Indeed, reading and writing as literary acts are not meant to understand, express and affect the world, which is the declared purpose of the ordinary language; their mission is rather to reflect on the prose of the world, a kind of hidden goal of the literary language. Blanchot sets up a whole system of concepts based on the opposition between ordinary language (the language as a tool) and literary language (the body of the language and its manufacturing as an act of creation). It is precisely based on this landmark that we structure our general project: how does the raw material of the language lead to the creation of literature, which in the end comes to questioning the reading and the writing in literature?

Thus, it follows the path of the protagonist that, on the contrary to what occurs in other texts of the author, is a named character with social face and an internationally prestigious writer. The analysis goes towards this writer-protagonist which is in contact with the main American funding institutions that invite him to seasons in the U.S.A. and Italy. The reading intends to show that, beyond the mere representation of the writer in his current acting environment, the book is structured by an ironic and grotesque diction which ends to derail any univocal of the relationship between the writer and the other actors in the literary field. Therefore, there is also the difficulty of leading with the issue of autobiography in the narrative: although the character's route resembles the journeys undertaken by João Gilberto Noll, and despite the homonymy, it is fully problematic to understand the narrative as an author autobiographical confession. Thus, the present work aims to identify the cynicism that permeates the actions of the character and conditions the narrative discourse. The novel's narrator does not want to be committed to one truth or another. On one hand, the nomination of the character and his job assignment indicate that political and contextual issues are explicitly treated in the work. On the other hand, one does not hid what the author seems to be better in: the disclosure of the depths of Being, the deficit in relation to language, or the idealism around a redemptive communication, without the intervention of social conditioning. This dissertation demonstrates that, in its end, the book bets on more pacified relationships, less furious if compared to other novels by Noll. The interpretation rejects the idea that this wager corresponds to the protagonist's triumph or to an assertive response to existential questions scattered during the narrative. Instead, the book signals that "everything that stays in life comes double". Perhaps this is a still desirable critical position in a moment in which the cynicism arose from a desire for truth seems to contaminate even the most well-intentioned speeches / Mestrado / Teoria e Critica Literaria / Mestre em Teoria e História Literária

[en] THE BUILDING OF A WORLD: GERMAN AND JEWISH ROOTS IN ERICH AUERBACH´S LITERARY HISTORY / [pt] A CONSTRUÇÃO DE UM MUNDO: RAÍZES GERMÂNICAS E JUDAICAS NA HISTÓRIA LITERÁRIA DE ERICH AUERBACHBEATRIZ CEPELOWICZ LESSA 14 July 2004 (has links)
[pt] O objetivo deste trabalho é compreender a crescente
importância da pesquisa filológica na história da
literatura ocidental escrita pelo romanista judeu-alemão
Erich Auerbach (1892-1957). Sua história literária foi
escrita durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial (Mimesis - A
Buscamos, neste
trabalho, escavar as raízes germânicas e judaicas desta
obra. / [en] The aim of this work is to understand the growing role of
the philological research in the western literary history
written by the Jewish-German romance philologist Erich
Auerbach (1892-1957). His literary history was written
during the Second World War (Mimesis - The Representation
of Reality in Western Literature - 1946) and in the post-
war period (Literary Language and its Public in late Latin
Antiquity and in the Middle Ages - 1956). We develop the
assumption that his Jewish condition and his formation in
the German discipline of Romance Philology (Romanistik)
have contributed to a sui-generis vision of the origins and
the path of western literature. This double condition,
Jewish-German, also determined the core of his philological
research, focused on texts of the pagan and Christian
Antiquity, specially the patristical. The philological
essays form, together with the literary history, a complex
and articulated corpus, which constitutes the whole work of
Auerbach. In this work, we seek to dig it`s Jewish
and German roots.

Meze a jazyky v poezii současných irských autorek / Meze a jazyky v poezii současných irských autorekTheinová, Daniela January 2013 (has links)
Filozofická fakulta Univerzity Karlovy v Praze DISSERTATION ABSTRACT Daniela Theinová LIMITS AND LANGUAGES in Contemporary Irish Women's Poetry "Irish poetry" is an inherently equivocal concept characterized by two fissures, one linguistic (Irish-English; standard English-Hiberno English) and the other chronological (oral-written; Old Irish-modern Irish). Central to my project is to show how this bifurcate cultural identity, prominent in Irish literature due to Ireland's history and the politicized concept of "national language," figures in poetry by Irish women of the last forty years. While I account for the significance of the hyphen in Anglo-Irish as well as in Gaelic-Irish poets, contradictory tensions are traced not only across and along the linguistic divide. In attending to the shift from feminism (Eavan Boland, Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin, Paula Meehan, Medbh McGuckian, and Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill) to post-feminism in Irish poetry (Biddy Jenkinson, Vona Groarke, Caitríona O'Reilly, and Aifric Mac Aodha), I illustrate the role that the border between English and Irish has played in these processes. The dissertation falls into two parts each of which consists of two chapters. Part One explores some of the ways in which poets have confronted the inherited tradition and the feminine stereotypes therein. My...
