[pt] Esta dissertação por meio do acompanhamento das iniciativas que versam sobre a violência de gênero no ciberespaço na América Latina busca se inserir no debate acerca (da necessidade) do alargamento e expansão do campo teórico das Relações Internacionais. Ao trazer o debate ciberfeminista sobre como o corpo ciborgue vive o ciberespaço na atualidade, utilizando da cartografia social como metodologia para mapear as ações dos grupos/coletivos/projetos/esforços dessas ciborgues acerca da violência de gênero online, esta pesquisa contribui para ampliação conceitual e metodológica de diversos tópicos das ciências humanas como território, fronteira, violência, segurança, direitos, política, sujeito e muitos outros da vida moderna. Mais que um mapeamento físico, trata-se de cartografar o percurso destas iniciativas, destes imaginários sociotécnicos como dito por Sheila Jasanoff (2015); que, ao se debruçar sobre tais violências executam duas funções primordiais nesta pesquisa: 1) perturbar as dicotomias e binários mais correntemente aceitos tanto nas Relações Internacionais como na teoria política no geral sobre humano/não-humano, masculino/feminino, público/privado, local/global, virtual/real, etc.; 2) atuar na co-produção de futuros desejáveis alcançados por meio da ciência e da tecnologia. / [en] This master thesis by following the initiatives that deal with gender violence in cyberspace in Latin America, seeks to insert itself in the debate about the expansion of the theoretical field of International Relations. By bringing the cyberfeminist debate about how the cyborg body experiences cyberspace today, using social cartography as a methodology to map the actions of groups/collectives/projects/efforts of these cyborgs about online gender violence, this research contributes to a conceptual and methodological expansion of various topics in the human sciences such as territory, borders, violence, security, rights, politics, subject, and many others of modern life. More than a physical mapping, it is about mapping the course of these initiatives, these sociotechnical imaginaries as stated by Sheila Jasanoff (2015); which, when approaching violence, perform two fundamental functions for this research: 1) disturb the dichotomies and binaries more commonly accepted both in International Relations and in political theory in general about human/non-human, male/female, local/global, virtual/real, public/private, etc.; 2) act on the co-production of desirable futures achieved through science and technology.

[pt] Esta pesquisa busca inspiração em abordagens metodológicas do Design que favoreçam a escuta e o acolhimento e as aproxima da metodologia cartográfica na tentativa de demonstrar que esse encontro potencializa ações no desenvolvimento de atividades fortalecedoras da relação universidade-aluno. Tendo como pano de fundo em seu recorte temporal o biênio pandêmico 2020-2021, fez-se uma reflexão sobre a importância da biografia e do percurso formativo na constituição do processo de pesquisa em sala de aula, com professores e alunos. As palavras parceria, colaboração e acolhimento são termos chave no desenvolvimento deste trabalho, que afirma sua influência nas abordagens metodológicas do Design que trabalham estes conceitos na escuta e mediação de desejos e tensões decorrentes do período de quarentena para situações de ensino-aprendizagem. Nesta pesquisa, de natureza qualitativa e interpretativa, coletou-se os dados por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, da observação em campo e da realização de experimento em sala de aula. Reunimos registros de alunos de um curso do ensino superior sobre as relações de sala de aula no contexto da pandemia e discutimos o conteúdo desses registros com a intenção de apontar caminhos futuros para a ação de professores/universidades. Com os resultados do experimento, propomos a cartografia como uma possibilidade de ação sistemática capaz de proporcionar a tangibilização de cenários e situações idealizadas ou desconhecidas pelo grupo que compõe o complexo de relações de sala de aula. Conclui-se que as abordagens metodológicas do Design que trabalham a parceria, a colaboração e o acolhimento são potencializadoras de investigações cartográficas que visem o conhecimento a partir da escuta atenta para projetar novas maneiras de acontecer a sala de aula, construída e renovada constantemente a partir do diálogo. / [en] This research seeks inspiration in methodological approaches to Design that favor listening and welcoming and brings them closer to the cartographic methodology in an attempt to demonstrate that this meeting enhances actions in the development of activities that strengthen the university-student relationship. With the 2020-2021 pandemic biennium as a background in its temporal cut, a reflection was made on the importance of biography and the formative path in the constitution of the research process in the classroom, with teachers and students. The words partnership, collaboration and welcoming are key terms in the development of this work, which affirms their influence on the methodological approaches of Design that work these concepts, in the listening and mediation of desires and tensions arising from the quarantine period for teaching-learning situations. In this qualitative and interpretative research, data were collected through bibliographic research, field observation and conducting an experiment in the classroom. We gathered records of students from a higher education course on classroom relationships in the context of the pandemic and discussed the content of these records with the intention of pointing out future paths for professors/universities to act. With the results of the experiment, we propose cartography as a possibility of systematic action capable of providing the tangibility of idealized or unknown scenarios and situations by the group that makes up the complex of classroom relationships. It is concluded that the methodological approaches of Design that work with partnership, collaboration and reception are potentiators of cartographic investigations that aim to know and propose new ways of relationships between teachers and students; knowledge from attentive listening has the potential to design new ways of happening in the classroom, which is constantly built and renewed through dialogue.

[pt] Esta tese se propõe a discutir as representações sociais da loucura e do lugar social do louco, cujo objetivo se articula à avaliação de Paulo Amarante (2007) sobre a importância da dimensão sociocultural relativa aos desdobramentos da Reforma Psiquiátrica Brasileira para o processo de desinstitucionalização, que prevê a reinserção social das pessoas com transtornos mentais. A Teoria das Representações Sociais por sua abordagem processual, com Serge Moscovici, Denise Jodelet e Angela Arruda, dá suporte para o entendimento e para a aproximação do objeto trabalhado. A Cartografia de Deleuze e Guattari, também acessada através da leitura de Virgínia Kastrup e Roberta Romagnoli, e a Análise de Conteúdo de Bardin (2011) são as ferramentas teórico-metodológicas utilizadas para o acompanhamento do processo e a análise do material produzido pelos 29 entrevistados nos dois campos da pesquisa. A análise de conteúdo mostra as representações sociais do louco com características simultâneas e polares de agitação e agressividade ou tranquilidade e docilidade, e também como alguém que não é normal. A casa e a família foram apontadas como lugar social a ser ocupado pelo mesmo, e não os hospitais psiquiátricos. A loucura foi representada como doença, distúrbio, necessitando de medicação para seu controle e facilitação do convívio social, mas também as terapias foram apontadas como parte essencial do tratamento. A comunidade ainda oferece resistência à convivência com as pessoas com transtornos mentais por medo de violência e de perdas materiais, pedindo a internação das mesmas. A internação foi representada como necessária nos momentos de crise ou surto dos loucos. Os contornos mais finos e/ou singulares relacionados ao mapeamento das representações sociais podem ser identificados no exercício cartográfico a partir de três entrevistas escolhidas, e, na expressão das imagens produzidas pela pesquisadora, utilizando a linguagem visual para abordar aspectos do objeto e do processo como um todo. / [en] This thesis proposes to discuss the social representations of the madness and the social place of the individual with a mental disorder, whose objective is articulated with the evaluation of Paulo Amarante (2007) on the importance of the sociocultural dimension related to the developments of the Brazilian Psychiatric Reform for the process of deinstitutionalization, which provides for the social reintegration of people with mental disorder. The Theory of Social Representations for its procedural approach, with Serge Moscovici, Denise Jodelet and Angela Arruda, supports the understanding and the approximation of the object worked. The Cartography of Deleuze and Guattari, also accessed through the reading of Virginia Kastrup and Roberta Romagnoli, and the Content Analysis of Bardin (2011) are the theoretical-methodological tools used to follow the process and the analysis of the material produced by the 29 interviewees in the two fields of research. Content analysis shows the social representations of the individual with a mental disorder with simultaneous and polar characteristics of agitation and aggressiveness or tranquility and docility, and also as someone who is not normal. The house and the family were pointed out as a social place to be occupied by the same, and not the psychiatric hospitals. Madness was represented as a disease, disorder, requiring medication for its control and facilitation of social interaction, but also the therapies were pointed out as an essential part of the treatment. The community still offers resistance to living with people with mental disorder for fear of violence and material loss, asking them to be hospitalized. Institutionalization was represented as necessary in times of crisis or outbreak of the individual with a mental disorder. The finer and / or singular contours related to the mapping of social representations can be identified in the cartographic exercise from three chosen interviews and, in the expression of the images produced by the researcher, using the visual language to approach aspects of the object and the process as one all.

[pt] Esta pesquisa quer rever e tratar do ponto de vista teórico-crítico os critérios usados na experiência pessoal e empírica de curadoria da exposição Poesia Agora, a fim de ampliar o estudo do contexto da poesia nacional pós-2000. É também a oportunidade de avaliação acadêmica das surpresas e questões levantadas ao longo do processo de trabalho e de verificação de quais indícios estas podem nos fornecer. Assim, será buscada a própria força pensante que a poesia atual pode produzir sobre si mesma. O objetivo é empreender uma investigação crítica, uma reavaliação estética e política sobre a poesia contemporânea, entendendo-a para além do âmbito meramente textual, mas dentro de um sistema de práticas sociais. / [en] This research aims to review and approach from the theoretical-critical point of view the criteria used in the personal and empirical experience of curatorship of the Poesia Agora (Poetry Now) exhibition, in order to broaden the study of the context of national post-2000 poetry. Additionally, it is an opportunity to evaluate academically the surprises and unpredictable issues raised throughout the work process and checking what evidence they can provide us. Thus, the very thought power that contemporary poetry can trigger on itself will be sought. The goal is to undertake a critical investigation, an aesthetic and political reappraisal of contemporary poetry, understanding it beyond the merely textual scope, but within a system of social practices.

[pt] Esta tese tem como objetivo pensar o livro de segunda mão como objeto material inserido em um circuito urbano. Percorrendo o seu caminho e desenhando um mapa cultural, através de pesquisa de campo, os conceitos de profissão ou ofício, consumo, troca, patrimônio, valor econômico e simbólico, ordem e desordem, raridade, tempo e propriedade são destacados. Abordagens críticas questionam os movimentos de consumo colaborativo e a vinculação do livro velho nos sites de venda online, deste modo uberização do livro é uma expressão criada nesta tese para pensar parte do circuito envolvendo a internet. A cidade é ocupada pelos livros e pelos livreiros em dinâmicas circulares: eles transitam infinitas vezes indo e vindo por lugares conhecidos e circunscritos tradicionalmente; do lixo até o leilão de obras raras. As livrarias são Sebos de alfarrabistas geridas e habitadas por mestres e aprendizes transmitindo o ofício entre familiares; por outro lado, os sebos de rua shopping chão, os das calçadas e das feiras revelam elementos de informalidade e indeterminação econômica e espacial, perseguidos pela administração pública. O livro usado possui marcas das intervenções humanas e circunstanciais – rabiscos, rasgados, colagens, assinaturas, dedicatórias – que lhe conferem os signos de valor. É importante para os membros do circuito identificarem estas marcas para redistribuí-los através da elaboração de descrições e arrumações específicas para cada categoria de livro usado. Bibliófilos são consumidores de livros antigos, livreiros são consumidores de outros livreiros em instâncias diversas, catadores recebem livros daqueles que abandonam e depois vendem para livreiros que oferecem para colecionadores, estes podem abandonar mais uma vez os livros nas ruas ou no lixo, então o ciclo se renova em uma cartografia multissituada. / [en] This thesis aims to think of the second-hand book as material object inserted in an urban circuit. Traversing your way and drawing a cultural map, through fieldwork, the concepts of profession or trade, consumption, exchange, heritage, economic and symbolic value, order and disorder, rarity, time and property are highlighted. Critical approaches question the collaborative consumption movements and the linking of the old book to online selling sites, so book uberization is an expression created in this thesis to think about part of the circuit involving the internet. The city is occupied by books and booksellers in circular dynamics: they travel endlessly to and fro through traditionally known and circumscribed places; from the garbage to the rare books auction. Antiquarian bookstores are inhabited by masters and apprentices transmitting the craft among family members; on the other hand, the shopping chão, sidewalks and fairs (flea market) reveal elements of informality and economic and spatial indeterminacy, pursued by the government. The used book has marks of human and circumstantial interventions - scribbles, torn, collages, signatures, dedications - that give it the signs of value. It s important for circuit members to identify these marks in order to redistribute them through the elaboration of specific descriptions and arrangements for each category of used book. Bibliophiles are consumers of old books, booksellers are consumers of other booksellers in different instances, garbage collectors receive books from those they abandon and then sell to booksellers that they offer to books collectors, they can once again abandon books on the streets or in the garbage, then the cycle is renewed in a multi-sited cartography.

[pt] O fenômeno da Intolerância é complexo, duradouro e se apresenta de diferentes formas, entre elas, sua manifestação religiosa. Por isso, frente a todas essas dificuldades, ele precisa ser debatido nos vários setores da sociedade, incluindo o ambiente escolar. Assim, o presente trabalho aborda a sua discussão por intermédio da Educação Geográfica, destacando a linguagem como elemento importante para tal situação. O pensamento geográfico, elemento formador da Educação Geográfica, é determinante para a compreensão da realidade, logo permite que o fenômeno em questão seja entendido. Associado ao pensamento geográfico, a linguagem cartográfica, que constitui uma linguagem própria da Geografia, pode representar uma ferramenta valorosa no combate à Intolerância. Nessa perspectiva, vislumbramos, na Cartografia Social um caminho poderoso que pode colaborar para a transformação do cenário da Intolerância. / [en] The phenomenon of Intolerance is complex, lasting and presents itself in different ways, including its religious manifestation. Therefore, given all these difficulties, it needs to be debated in various sectors of society, including the school environment. Thus, the present work addresses its discussion through Geographic Education, highlighting language as an important element in such a situation. Geographical thinking, a formative element of Geographic Education, is crucial for understanding reality, and therefore allows the phenomenon in question to be understood. Associated with geographical thinking, the cartographic language, which is a language specific to Geography, can represent a valuable tool in the fight against Intolerance. From this perspective, we see in Social Cartography a powerful path that can contribute to the transformation of the scenario of Intolerance.

[pt] A Cartografia propicia, através de seus produtos, o estabelecimento de uma capacidade reflexiva sobre a dimensão espacial de um dado recorte. Corrobora para que diversas análises espaciais sejam elaboradas retratando processos, fenômenos e padrões da superfície terrestre. Apesar desta capacidade, ao longo do tempo, a ciência cartográfica foi submetida à primazia do positivismo lógico, desconsiderando aspectos imateriais e que transcendem aquilo que é observável, desvalorizando a dimensão do imaginário e das realidades passíveis de serem representadas, relegando-as à condição de devaneio e de irrealidade. Contrariamente, esta perspectiva assume centralidade quando dialogada com a arte. Como exemplo cita-se a literatura fantástica, que opera na relação direta entre a ficção e a realidade, fazendo-se utilizar, em muitos casos, de mapas (entre outras representações) visando à espacialização dos universos onde as narrativas se desenrolam. A cartografia subsidia e é subsidiada pelo imaginário, promovendo a representação espacial destes universos imateriais. Assim, buscar-se-á entender como a Cartografia Fantástica representada no universo imaginado de J. R. R. Tolkien contribui para a compreensão das relações geográficas existentes no imaginário do autor. Para tal fim, torna-se necessário que se visitem as fundações criacionais do universo imaginado, percorrendo-se por significados e simbolismos expressos a partir de acontecimentos vivenciados e que perfazem a construção de paisagens fantásticas. Como consequência, tomam-se rebatimentos interpretativos que alçam a realidade dada a múltiplas possibilidades. A cartografação e a construção de uma ardo grafia são fruto deste mesmo processo. Estabelece-se como resultante de interpretações forjadas a partir da recepção, decodificação e transformação das informações transmitidas por Tolkien e que são moldadas a partir de um background histórico, cultural e cognitivo daquele que a concebe. / [en] Cartography provides, through its products, the establishment of a reflective capacity on the spatial dimension of a given area. It corroborates that several spatial analyzes are elaborated portraying processes, phenomena and patterns of the Earth s surface. Despite this ability, over time, cartographic science has been subjected to the primacy of logical positivism, disregarding immaterial aspects and transcending what is observable, devaluing the dimension of the imaginary and the realities that can be represented, relegating them to the condition of reverie and unreality. In contrast, this perspective assumes centrality when dialogued with art. As an example fantastic literature is mentioned, which operates in the direct relationship between fiction and reality, making use, in many cases, of maps (among other representations) aiming at the spatialization of the universes where the narratives unfold. Cartography subsidizes and is subsidized by the imaginary, promoting the spatial representation of these immaterial universes. Thus, we will try to understand how the Fantastic Cartography represented in the imagined universe of J. R. R. Tolkien contributes to the understanding of the geographical relations existing in the author s imagination. For that purpose, it is necessary to visit the creational foundations of the imagined universe, going trough meanings and symbolisms expressed from experienced events that make up the construction of fantastic landscapes. As a consequence, interpretative repercussions that raise a reality given to multiple possibilities. The mapping and construction of an ardo graphy are the result of this same process. It is established as a result of interpretations forged from the reception, decoding and transformation of the information transmitted by Tolkien and which are shaped from a historical, cultural and cognitive background of the person who conceives it.

[pt] A dissertação intitulada Por mares nunca dantes cartografados trata da permanência do imaginário antigo e medieval na cartografia moderna dos descobrimentos marítimos ibéricos em Ásia, África e América através dos oceanos Atlântico e Índico nos séculos XV e XVI. Na Idade Moderna, os mapas-múndi já apresentam a forma geográfica da Terra, semelhante a que conhecemos na Idade Contemporânea, diferente do modelo ptolomaico da Antiguidade, dos Orbis Terrarum Tripartite ou mapas T/O da Idade Média, e das cartas- portulanos do Mar Mediterrâneo. Mas ainda representam as mirabilia pagãs oriundas da literatura de viagens, o miraculo cristão oriundo da Bíblia e das hagiografias medievais, e os monstros (monstra) oriundos dos physiologus antigos, dos bestiários medievais e dos relatos de naufrágio. Esse imaginário vai ser (des)locado de seu habitat original - os Extremos Índia, China e Japão no Oriente, o Oriente árabe Próximo, e o Norte mouro da África - e vai influenciar a representação do negro no Sul da África e do índio na América (a Quarta Orbis Pars). / [fr] La dissertation intitulée Par des mers jamais auparavant cartographiées traite de la permanence de l imaginaire ancient et médiéval dans la cartographie moderne des découvertes maritimes ibériques en Asie, Afrique et en Amérique à travers les océans Atlantique et Indien aux XVème et XVIème siècles. Dans l Âge Moderne, les mappemondes déjà presentent la forme geographique de la Terre, semblant auquele nous connaissons dans l Âge Contemporain, et différent du modèle ptolomaic de l Ancienneté, des Orbis Terrarum Tripartite ou cartes T/O du Moyen Âge, et des cartes portulan de la Mer Méditerranée. Mais ils encore représentent les mirabilia païens originaires de la littérature de voyages, le miraculo Chrétien originaire de la Bible et des hagiografies médiévales, e les monstres (monstra) originaire des physiologus anciens, des bestiáires médiévales et des histoires de naufrage. [pt] Esta dissertação traz para o campo teórico os processos relativos à ação social, enxergando seu potencial de transformação do espaço urbano a partir da metodologia da cartografia da ação (RIBEIRO, 2001), seguindo a linha da investigação/participação ativa. (BARTHOLL, 2018) Desse modo, o trabalho tem como objetivo geral: discutir o espaço da Favela do Final Feliz a partir do diálogo com o Coletivo COE. Ao longo da construção teórica, caracterizo o espaço da Favela do Final Feliz dissociado da visão do “sobrevoo” e discuto sua inserção no processo de produção da cidade do Rio de Janeiro. A partir das ações cotidianas em comunidade, através de uma pesquisa-ação participativa, demonstro as formas de apropriação do espaço pelo Coletivo COE e como elas moldam as experiências do espaço vivido nesta favela. Este trabalho produz um entendimento mais aprofundado e fidedigno da Favela do Final Feliz e do Coletivo COE, o que demonstra a relevância da Geografia e da pesquisa-ação para compreender os movimentos sociais em favelas. / [en] This dissertation brings to the theoretical field the processes related to social action, seeing its potential for transforming urban space from the methodology of cartography of action, following the line of investigation/active participation. In this way, the work has the general objective: Discuss the space of Favela do Final Feliz from the dialogue with Coletivo COE. Throughout the theoretical construction, I characterize the space of Favela do Final Feliz dissociated from the “overflight” vision and discuss its insertion in the production process of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Based on everyday actions in the community, through participatory action research, I demonstrate the forms of appropriation of space by Coletivo COE and how they shape the experiences of the space lived in this favela. This work produces a deeper and more reliable understanding of Favela do Final Feliz and Coletivo COE, which demonstrates the relevance of Geography and action research to understand social movements in favelas. / [es] Esta disertación trae al campo teórico los procesos relacionados con la acción social, viendo su potencial para transformar el espacio urbano desde la metodología de la cartografía de la acción, siguiendo la línea de investigación/participación activa. De esta forma, el trabajo tiene como objetivo general: Discutir el espacio de la Favela do Final Feliz a partir del diálogo con el Coletivo COE. A lo largo de la construcción teórica, caracterizo el espacio de Favela do Final Feliz disociado de la visión de “sobrevuelo” y discuto su inserción en el proceso de producción de la ciudad de Río de Janeiro. A partir de acciones cotidianas en la comunidad, a través de la investigación acción participativa, demuestro las formas de apropiación del espacio por parte del Coletivo COE y cómo configuran las experiencias del espacio vivido en esta favela. Este trabajo produce una comprensión más profunda y confiable de Favela do Final Feliz y Coletivo COE, lo que demuestra la relevancia de la Geografía y la investigación acción para comprender los movimientos sociales en las favelas.
