[en] TRANSITION TO PARENTHOOD DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC: PATERNAL EXPERIENCES AND REPERCUSSIONS TO THE CONJUGALITY / [pt] TRANSIÇÃO PARA A PATERNIDADE DURANTE A PANDEMIA DA COVID-19: EXPERIÊNCIAS PATERNAS E REPERCUSSÕES NA CONJUGALIDADEALESSANDRA FURTADO T H LASSEN 07 April 2022 (has links)
As
[en] This paper s general objective is to investigate the experiences of fathers of
small children during the isolation period imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic and
the repercussion of this period in conjugality. Considering the couples and family
literature defines the transition period to parenthood as a particularly defying one
to both nuclear and expanded families, and that studies focusing on the fathers
experience are vastly outnumbered by those studying the mother child relationship,
10 subjects of first born children from Rio de Janeiro who are white, heterosexual
and middle class, were interviewed for this paper. The interviews were recorded,
transcribed and submitted to the thematic categorial content analysis method. The
analysis were conducted within the systemic family and couple perspective
articulated with psychoanalytical concepts. The results showed that the social
isolation imposed by the pandemic was perceived as being positive for fatherhood,
as subjects had more time available to interact with their children. In regards to the
couples relationship, the results show that the isolation imposed by the pandemic
was perceived as being an added stress factor to the already difficult period for the
subjects.

[pt] AS CAMELÔS DA REGIÃO CENTRAL DO RIO DE JANEIRO: UMA ANÁLISE FEMINISTA-MARXISTA DAS TRABALHADORAS DE RUA EM TEMPOS PANDÊMICOS / [en] WOMEN STREET VENDORS IN CENTRAL RIO DE JANEIRO: A FEMINIST-MARXIST ANALYSIS OF STREET WORKERS IN PANDEMIC TIMESSILVIA TALHO RIBEIRO 27 June 2022 (has links)
A região central
A pesquisa
[en] Based on the questioning of who is the current working class, this
research aims to understand and analyze informal work from the perspective
of women street vendors. For this, semi-structured interviews were carried
out with four women street vendors in the city of Rio de Janeiro, to
understand the social dynamics between them and the public space. Basing
the discussion on the need to pay attention to the roles of care, socially and
historically imposed on women, this research updates the discussions from
the context of the coronavirus pandemic. The central region of Rio de Janeiro,
the specific area of the research, concurrently marked by disputes between
working classes and government, influenced by the ruling elites, appears in
this research, as the setting of construction of autonomy, freedom and
citizenship for the women vendors, featuring the region as well as a political
field. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the collective practices, in
an individualizing context, often imposed by the neoliberal system, noticing
examples of collective resistance and practical actions that can be
denominated feminists. This paper adopted as its theoretical framework the
theories of social reproduction developed by feminist-marxists authors known
as Social Reproduction Theory (SRT) and from the black intellectual Angela
Davis, pircing an understanding about who comprises the current working
class, not leaving out a gendered and racialized investigation, in addition to
an analysis based on the concrete reality faced by the subjects of this
research, not separating theory and practice.

[pt] EU SOU MÃE, NÃO SOU PROFESSORA: MEDIAÇÃO FAMILIAR NO ENSINO REMOTO DURANTE A PANDEMIA DE COVID-19 / [en] I M A MOTHER, I M NOT A TEACHER: PARENTAL MEDIATION IN REMOTE EDUCATION DURING A COVID-19 PANDEMICANA LUIZA HONORATO DE SALES 21 May 2021 (has links)
[en] The object of study of this master dissertation were parental mediations of children s relationship with the school remote activities during the COVID-19 pandemic quarantine. Through exploratory research, the objective was to identify parents perceptions of such activities, their main challenges, the mediat ion
strategies adopted and potential learning experiences. The data comprised 207 responses to a virtual questionnaire and 41 interviews with parents of children enrolled from 1st to 3rd grades of Elementary School, living in the metropolitan area of Rio de Janeiro. The main theoretical references included the concept of mediation in the Vygotskian perspective, studies on the monitoring of homework
by the family, and recent research on access to remote educational activities allowed by current media. Research data were also considered on educational inequalities associated with the provision of remote education during the pandemic. As its main results, the mediators, mostly mothers, biggest difficulties were: to guarantee children s motivation to carry out the activities, to be available to help them,
pointing out their pedagogical limitations to explain curricular contents. The potential of remote education was the greater proximity between family and child, especially in school matters. The different strategies adopted by mediators in children s remote education were considered favorable experiences to reflect on the role of school.

[en] DIGITAL HEALTH FOR PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC: AN ACTION RESEARCH / [pt] SAÚDE DIGITAL PARA PREPARAÇÃO E RESPOSTA À PANDEMIA DE COVID-19: UMA PESQUISA-AÇÃOADALTON DA SILVA RAMOS JUNIOR 16 June 2021 (has links)
[en] During the COVID-19 pandemic, measures to reduce social contact have been used to prevent crowds of people trying to contain the spread of the disease and the consequent burden on health services. Digital health solutions have been of significant importance when used on several fronts at this time of humanitarian crisis. This research aims to present a report on the design, implementation, use and review of a telehealth platform for preparedness and response to COVID-19 in a Brazilian municipality. The study is based on an action research, supported by a scoping review of the literature to identify functionalities and characteristics to be considered in a digital health system used in outbreak, epidemic and pandemic scenarios. Subsequently, a relevance and prioritization analysis of functionalities and characteristics is carried out in the context of the studied location using the multicriteria decision support method Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). As a result, we propose a framework for a digital health system aimed at coping with outbreaks, epidemics and pandemics, which served as a basis for evaluating the developed telehealth platform and can be used to drive other studies in epidemic disasters. In addition, we offer a technological product to help facing the COVID-19 pandemic in a Brazilian municipality, generating social impact through the empirical observation of challenges and good practices experienced in the structuring and operationalizing of a digital health system to preparedness and response to an epidemic disaster.

[en] CARE PRACTICES FOR CHILDREN WITH ASD IN THE CONTEXT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC / [pt] PRÁTICAS DE CUIDADOS DE CRIANÇAS COM TEA NO CONTEXTO DA PANDEMIA DA COVID-19LAURA SENGES CARRERAS 05 December 2022 (has links)
[en] The present dissertation aimed to understand the care processes of
parents with children on the autistic spectrum, how they were affected or changed
during the pandemic and how these parents dealt with the difficulties brought
about by social isolation. Therefore, an empirical study of qualitative design
was carried out. The study sought the participants experiences on how the
care practices of their children with ASD occurred during the pandemic,
especially during the period of social isolation. Five mothers with autistic
children aged between seven and 11 participated in the study, who
answered a sociodemographic questionnaire and a semi-structured
questionnaire. The interviews with the participants were carried out using the
ZOOM platform and the material collected was transcribed, transforming it into
textual material. For the analysis, the method of Bardin (2016) was used,
in which information collected was coded and categorized. The results found
suggest that, despite the challenges encountered in coping with a pandemic,
mothers were able to carry out proximal processes with their children; the
characteristics of ASD influence the way of care of these mothers and that there
was an aggravation in the emotional suffering of these mothers during the
pandemic period. The research had some limitations due to the pandemic
situation, like the number of participants, and further studies are suggested on
the possible effects of social isolation for these families, especially in relation to
the conduct of school institutions.

[pt] DA RUA À QUARENTENA: UM ESTUDO SOBRE O TRABALHO SEXUAL DE PESSOAS TRANSEXUAIS NO CONTEXTO DA PANDEMIA DA COVID-19 / [en] FROM THE STREET TO THE QUARANTINE: A STUDY ON SEX WORK BY TRANSGENDER PEOPLE IN THE CONTEXT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMICNEILY FABIANE DA SILVA SOUZA LISBOA 08 November 2022 (has links)
Vislumbrando
do sexo.
onde o mundo do trabalho determina quais trabalhadoras exercerão trabalhos
[en] This dissertation From the street to the quarantine: a study on sex work by
transgender people in the context of the covid-19 pandemic has as main objective
to analyze he increase in violence suffered by transsexual sex workers in the context
of the covid-19 pandemic. Aiming to understand the working conditions
experienced by transsexuals and the types of violence they were subjected to during
the pandemic period, especially during the months when lockdown was
recommended, we used a timeframe between 2020 and 2021. With a feminist,
decolonial, and critical reading, we sought data from documentary and
bibliographical research for a better understanding of the reality experienced by
transsexual sex workers. As a methodological procedure, we analyzed the annual
dossiers prepared by the National Association of Transvestites and Transsexuals
(ANTRA) entitled Murders and Violence against Trans People from the last 2
(two) years, that is, the years 2020 and 2021. We understand that the of material
brought comparative data for the observation of the increase in violence suffered
by transsexual people in the period of the pandemic, especially among sex workers.
The choice for the Dossiers was due to the difficulty in locating data about the trans
population, which reveals how much this population is denied and invisibilized, as
well as demonstrated the underreporting of data about this population. The research
showed that the increase in violence suffered by the transgender population in the
pandemic period, especially among sex workers, exposes a relationship of labor
condition of extreme precariousness, informality and unemployment where the
world of work determines which workers will exercise formal, informal, precarious
jobs and those who will not have the possibility of selling their labor force.

[pt] SE VIRA: A PANDEMIA DA COVID-19 E A FAVELA DE RIO DAS PEDRAS, UM ESTUDO SOBRE FORMAS DE ORGANIZAÇÃO E RESISTÊNCIA POPULAR NO CONTEXTO PANDÊMICO / [en] TO GET BY: THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND THE FAVELA OF RIO DAS PEDRAS, A STUDY ABOUT ORGANIZATION FORMS AND POPULAR RESISTANCE IN THE PANDEMIC CONTEXTYANKA MARTINS PEREIRA 11 October 2023 (has links)
[en] This present dissertation propose to analyze the forms of organization and resistance used by residents of the favela Rio das Pedras against the advance of the COVID-19 pandemic. The study has an exploratory character of a qualitative nature, based on bibliographical and field research, which was developed with semi-structured interviews carried out with community leaders, representatives of community communication and managers of public facilities. The theoretical-methodological framework considers the intensification of social, racial and gender inequalities in the pandemic with effects on the confrontation of the socio-sanitary phenomenon in Brazil. From a critical perspective, we reflect on questions pertinent to the conception of the right to the city, permeated by the contradiction of the realization of capitalist cities and, consequently, of Rio de Janeiro s favelas, with emphasis on the process of construction and consolidation of the favela of Rio das Pedras. Faced with the advent of the covid-19 pandemic, the dissertation analyzes its deepening in the Brazilian context, highlighting the impact of the pandemic in favelas, which historically are marked by the insufficiency of state interventions. The favela of Rio das Pedras, which, like the other favelas, was impacted by the COVID-19 virus and had to to get by to face not only health threats, but also economic, political and structural threats. The main results of the work turn to the realization that the COVID-19 pandemic revealed to the world social inequalities that historically impacted the lives of the most vulnerable populations, among these, the residents of favelas. Faced with the insufficiency of measures taken by the government to combat the virus, favela leaders and collectives organized themselves in defense of the survival of the population. In this context, it is concluded that it is important to defend the implementation of public policies in favela territories in dialogue with the potentialities present in these territories.

A metodologia
entrevistados. / [en] In the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, while state authorities in
Rio de Janeiro rushed to purchase equipment and build field hospitals, there was also
intense journalistic coverage on the expenditure of public resources. Dozens of reports
from different media outlets exposed indications of overpricing in purchases,
inconsistencies in contracts, and even fraud in hiring processes. Following these
reports, criminal investigations were initiated into corruption in the government of
Wilson Witzel during the pandemic, and an unprecedented impeachment process was
launched in the Legislative Assembly, which ended with the governor s removal from
office. For the purpose of this study, the initial reports of this journalistic coverage
from four sources - Blog do Berta, Folha de São Paulo, RJ2 (TV Globo) and O Globo
- were analyzed, and interviews were conducted with reporters involved in the
coverage in order to identify the sources of information used and discuss practices,
productive routines and the final outcome in the process of constructing investigative
reports. Content analysis and in-depth interviews were employed as the research
methods. The findings reveal that transparency tools and access to information from
public agencies played a crucial role in enhancing the credibility of the news reports,
accounting for 46 per cent of the identified sources of information in the analyzed articles, a result which was corroborated by the perception of the interviewed journalists

[en] The present research consists in an exploration of the challenges and specific
productions of the psychoanalytical clinic with children during the Covid-19
pandemic. First, we establish the concept of catastrophe according to Sandor Ferenczi
as a means to understand the psychological impacts on the analytic pair and the
necessary adaptations of technique. Then, we present the notion of deprivation from
Donald Winnicott to better explore the psychological experience of the child in
confinement, articulating such experience with the evacuation of children in the United
Kingdom during the Second World War. We articulate these issues to the process of
subjective constitution through Ferenczi’s concepts of gradual introjection of the
reality and the role of the environment in the psychological suffering of children.
Lastly, we present clinical excerpts to discuss the specificities of the online setting,
whilst articulating the findings with the concept of subjective camera and Winnicott’s
theory of play.

[en] This research has as its theme the body as a space of ancestral memory, with the
proposal to intervene in its representations, through the creation of the Ahosis Dolls,
based on the experiences offered to the artisans of the Onikojá Institute, in the
Corporal Movement Workshop, related to maculelê, samba de roda, congado and
samba. As a methodology, notably, action research proposed the experimentation
of body movements associated with the cultural manifestations then listed, in order
to promote the expansion of the motor repertoires of the artisans involved, in the
perspective of favoring the creation of dolls with new postures that refer to the
memory ancestor of African origin. Although impacted by the social isolation
imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the development of this methodology became
possible with the holding of remote meetings, as well as with the possibility of
partnership with the DHIS Laboratory, in which the activities promoted by the
Museum stand out. da Pessoa in the research and extension project with MOTIRÔ,
having been the fundamental celebrations for the construction of the present study,
