Das Medizinische Interprofessionelle Trainingszentrum (MITZ) ist ein Skills Lab, in welchem Studierende (ST) praktische und kommunikative Kompetenzen für ihren späteren Berufsalltag erlernen. Bedingt durch die COVID-19-Pandemie musste sich das MITZ mit neuen Möglichkeiten der Teilhabe an der Lehre auseinandersetzen (Röhle, 2021) und pilotierte dies mit der Anschaffung von zwei Telepräsenzrobotern (TPR). TPR sind mobile Remote-Präsenz-Systeme, welche neben der klassischen Videokonferenz den ST zusätzlich die Möglichkeit geben, sich autonom zu bewegen (Wolff & Möller, 2021). Dadurch wird die informelle Kommunikation und der Austausch unterstützt (Lee & Takayama, 2011), deren Fehlen ST während des Studiums in Zeiten der COVID-19-Pandemie als besonders herausfordernd empfunden haben (Traus et al., 2020). Aus der Studie und den Ergebnissen können wertvolle Impulse abgeleitet werden. Es darf nicht aus den Augen verloren werden, dass junge Menschen mit traumatisierenden Erfahrungen spezifische Perspektiven (Kenny, Dooley, & Fitzgerald, 2016) und Bedenken in Bezug auf die Vertrauenswürdigkeit von KI (Grasser, 2020) haben können. Demzufolge ist wichtig, die subjektive Sicherheit sowie andere Einflussgrößen auf die Nutzung von KI und E-Health Angeboten zu kennen und in Betracht zu ziehen. Ferner zeigen Studien, dass E-Health Literacy (E-Health-Kompetenz) bei minderjährigen Geflüchteten eher gering ist (Bergmann, Nilsson, Dahlberg, Jaensson, & Wångdahl, 2021) und Forschung zur Erhöhung des Uptake von qualitativ hochwertigen Angeboten dringend benötigt wird. Die Integration der Zielgruppe kann jedoch nur dann gelingen, wenn die E-Health-Apps als wichtig erkannt werden und bei ihrer Umsetzung darauf geachtet wird, dass sie praktikabel sind. This research explores if Sweden, a country with high trust in the political system could be challenged by social media. The study focuses on one spectrum of social media, TikTok, that exploded during the covid-19 pandemic and is proof of how fast social media develops and reaches out to human beings. The study addresses a research gap regarding this new social media platform as it examines exposure to political content and impact on political behavior. Specifically, the study focuses on first-time voters voting behavior in the Swedish election 2022. This thesis is based on a digital survey sent out to 139 respondents during November 2022. The result indicates that there is a relationship between viewing time on TikTok and voting behavior among young voters in the Swedish election 2022. The study ends with a discussion about how specific political content the respondent was exposed to on TikTok could have had an impact on the political behavior in the Swedish election 2022.

Från och med år 2024 kommer stora och vissa små/medelstora företag (SMEs) i EU bli hållbarhetsrapporteringsskyldiga enligt det nya EU-direktiv, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) (2022/2464/EU). Direktivet medför lagkrav på att företagen som omfattas ska rapportera om deras påverkan på människor, miljö och vilka ekonomiska risker samt möjligheter som kan uppstå till följd av klimatförändringar. Direktivet medför krav på företag att ställa om sina rapporteringsrutiner vilket innebär att de står inför stora utmaningar och implementeringsbarriärer. Denna studie presenterar och analyserar de utmaningar och möjligheter företag kan komma stå inför med det nya rapporteringskravet. Därav lyder studiens forskningsfrågor: Vilka externa möjligheter och hot kan företag tänkas möta till följd av CSRD? Vilka interna styrkor och svagheter kan företag tänkas identifiera till följd av CSRD? Hur påverkar tidigare kommunikation kring hållbarhet organisationens syn på utmaningar som uppstår vid förändringar i hållbarhetsarbete? Studien baseras på intervjuer från ett svenskt företag som omfattas av CSRD, Parks and Resorts (PRS). Intervjusvaren har genomgått en innehållsanalys med ett analytiskt ramverk baserat i SWOT-analys. Analysen visar att informanterna upplever utmaningar med datainsamling, resurser och kommunikation. Mot bakgrund av den tidigare forskningen visar studien att företags rutiner, resurser och befintliga praktiska hållbarhetsarbete hotas under implementeringsfasen. Studien visar att CSRD bidrar med möjligheter för företag att utveckla sitt långsiktiga hållbarhetsarbete, och öka statusen för hållbarhetsfrågor inom företag. Vidare visar studien att företag som har god kommunikation blir mer mottagliga för förändringar i hållbarhetsarbete, då det finns en acceptans, ett redan etablerat kontaktnät och ett hållbarhetsengagemang inom organisationen. Studien bidrar till forskningsläget genom att påvisa utmaningar företag kan uppleva vid implementering av ny lagstiftning, i detta fall CSRD. Studien visar också hur organisationers tidigare kommunikation kring hållbarhet påverkar dess anpassningsmöjlighet till externt pålagda krav som medför förändringar för företaget. Till skillnad från tidigare forskning visar denna studie att jämförbarhet i mätdata upplevs svåruppnått, och därav finns det en risk att CSRD inte uppfyller sitt syfte att öka transparens. / From the year 2024, large enterprises and some small/medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the EU will be obliged to report on sustainability according to a new EU directive, the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) (2022/2464/EU). The directive sets legal requirements that the companies covered must report on their impact on people, the environment and the financial risks and opportunities that may arise as a result of climate change (European Commission, u.å). The directive requires companies to change their reporting routines, which means that they face major challenges and implementation barriers (Ioannou & Serafeim, 2017). This study presents and analyzes the challenges and opportunities companies may face with the new reporting requirement. Hence the study's research questions are: What external opportunities and threats can companies face as a result of CSRD? What internal strengths and weaknesses can companies identify as a result of CSRD? How does previous communication about sustainability affect the organization's view of challenges that arise from changes in sustainability work? The study is based on interviews from a Swedish company covered by the CSRD, Parks and Resorts (PRS). The responses have been analyzed through content analysis with an analytical framework based on SWOT analysis. When compared to previous research, the study shows that companies' routines, resources and existing practical sustainability work are threatened during the implementation phase of the CSRD. The study shows that the CSRD can contribute to opportunities for companies to develop their long-term sustainability work and increase the status of sustainability issues within companies. Furthermore, the study shows that companies that have good communication become more resilient to changes in sustainability work, as there is acceptance, an already established network of contacts and a commitment to sustainability within the organization. The study contributes to research by identifying challenges companies may experience when implementing new legislation, in this case CSRD. The study also shows how organizations' previous communication about sustainability affects its ability to adapt to externally imposed requirements that bring about changes for the company. In contrast to previous research, this study shows that it is difficult to achieve comparability in climate-data, and hence there is a risk that CSRD does not fulfill its purpose of increasing transparency.

Qatar wants to use the 2022 FIFA World Cup as a soft power mean. They want to remove stains on their reputation via sportswashing. However, there is reason to believe that this effect might not occur in the case of Qatar, or in other words; that the tournament has a soft disempowerment effect on the state of Qatar. By doing a discourse analysis this study exams if the soft power efforts of Qatar have been successful, primarily in the Swedish context by examining how the Swedish media and Swedish FA articulates about Qatar, but also in the context of FIFA. The study also examens whether the articulations can be labeled as cases of Orientalism. The results show that in the Swedish context, both an orientalist and soft disempowerment-discourse are showing, and in the case of FIFA an orientalist discourse and a discourse which suggest that the tournament has been a good soft power resource in the eyes of FIFA occurs.

Die Stadtverwaltung hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, auf die Bedürfnisse und Bedarfe unserer Seniorinnen und Senioren noch besser einzugehen. Deswegen wurde diese Studie in Auftrag gegeben. Sie stellt eine hervorragende wissenschaftliche Überprüfung und Ergänzung unseres bisherigen praktischen Tuns rund um das Thema Altern in Dresden dar und setzt sich unter anderem mit Elementen des bereits bestehenden Fachplans Seniorenarbeit und Altenhilfe inklusive des Aktionsplans für gesundes und aktives Altern, dem Dresdner Kompetenzzentrum für den Übergang in den Ruhestand und dem Pflegenetzwerk auseinander. Weg vom defizitorientierten, hin zum ressourcenorientierten Ansatz lautet ein Prinzip der Dresdner Seniorenpolitik. Es liegt auch der LAB60+ Studie zugrunde. Sie wirft einen umfassenden Blick auf die Potenziale und Chancen in der vielgliedrigen nachberuflichen Lebensphase. Beleuchtet werden notwendige Rahmenbedingungen für eine hohe Lebenszufriedenheit, für Selbsthilfe und für möglichst eigenständiges Wohnen je nach Lebensentwurf. Knapp 2.400 über 60-Jährige nahmen an der Befragung teil und haben sich dem Fragebogen mit über 90 Fragen gestellt. Die hohe Rücklaufquote von 40 Prozent verdeutlicht das hohe Interesse der Zielgruppe und die Wichtigkeit des Themas. Die Kooperation mit der Technischen Universität Dresden habe ich als äußerst nützlich und gewinnbringend für beide Seiten erlebt. Die Ergebnisse und Ableitungen der LAB60+ Studie liefern einen konstruktiven Beitrag für die fachliche und kommunalpolitische Auseinandersetzung in unserer Stadt. Bei der Entwicklung konkreter Maßnahmen ist mir eine Beteiligung der Dresdnerinnen und Dresdner sehr wichtig. Dafür ist eine Seniorinnen- und Seniorenkonferenz geplant. Künftig wollen wir die Lebenssituation der älteren und alten Menschen und das Miteinander der Generationen regelmäßig untersuchen und damit eine wissenschaftlich basierte Grundlage für weitere Diskussion und Entscheidung entwickeln. »Jedem Anfang wohnt ein Zauber inne, der uns beschützt und der uns hilft, zu leben.« Diese Worte fand Hermann Hesse nach langer Krankheit. »ZAUBER« ist auch das Motto der Dresdner Musikfestspiele 2022, die mit der Hoffnung eines echten Neustarts nach zwei Jahren der Einschränkungen verbunden sind. Endlich sollen wieder ausgiebige, vielseitige und direkte Begegnungen zwischen Musikern und Publikum ermöglicht werden. Denn das Verlangen danach ist einfach riesig! Musik hat magische Kräfte und vermag so vieles: Sie kann aufwühlen, beflügeln oder beruhigen. Sie kann Grenzen überwinden und verbinden. Sie ist ebenso flüchtig wie unvergänglich. Dieser inspirierende Zauber ist es, mit dem die Dresdner Musikfestspiele vom 11. Mai bis zum 10. Juni einladen.

Discrimination occurs against underrepresented and misrepresented cultures in the United States of America. Hate crimes, racism, and stereotyping are not only against adults but also students in the educational system. These actions are causing division within our nation. There is a movement for transforming the classroom into one that is culturally inclusive for everyone. These Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) methods can help to unite our nation by celebrating diversity. One very effective method to achieve this is by using multicultural literature in classrooms as a way for students to see themselves as if looking in mirrors, understand their peers as if looking through windows, and empathize with other cultures as if stepping through a sliding glass door into the other culture (Bishop, 1990). Arab Americans too often are experiencing discrimination at the same or worse levels than other underrepresented and misrepresented cultures. The goal of this study was to find quality books by and about Arab Americans as multicultural literature is an effective means for creating a culturally inclusive classroom. My first step was to locate any and all books I could find that were written by or about Arab Americans. Then using specific parameters, I narrowed my findings to list only the quality literature I found within the last ten years. These findings are listed for teachers to use and access with ease. While reading these books in the classroom, it is important to initiate conversations with and among the students. Therefore, I created a list of general guiding questions that pair with the literature for teachers to use in their classrooms to get their students talking and thinking about the multicultural books they are reading. These discussions can help move classrooms into ones that celebrate individual cultures, embrace diversity, and instill empathy among the students.

Both Qatar and FIFA have been heavily criticised for the bribes and corruption resulting in Qatar obtaining the FIFA World Cup 2022. Over 6500 migrant workers in Qatar are said to have lost their lives during the construction of new arenas, and the media is an essential part for this being acknowledged. This essay examines and identifies the discourses that are dominating the articles written in the awakening of FIFAs World Cup in Qatar 2022. This will be done through studying the portrayal of Qatar in Dagens Nyheter, the Guardian and Gulf Times. The articles are studied through a narrative analysis method with support from agenda setting, framing and gatekeeping theories. The results show that western media portrays Qatar as unworthy of the world cup, while Qatari media ensures that the country will create the greatest world cup in history. The results suggest that Qatar is guilty of sportswashing through their government-controlled media.
