Este trabalho propõe uma aproximação entre a Geografia e a Literatura. De cunho marcadamente interdisciplinar, tem a paisagem como elemento de convergência dessas duas disciplinas. Sob o aspecto geográfico, estudou-se a paisagem urbana de São Paulo e suas transformações em meados do século XX. Notadamente, ressaltaram-se as mudanças da cidade de alvenaria para a cidade de concreto, levando-se em consideração a cidade industrial nascente, e suas influências na morfologia das novas paisagens. Para tanto, foi analisada a obra do escritor e jornalista Luís Martins, assíduo produtor cultural desse período, comprometido com seu tempo e com seu mundo. O gênero crônica, privilegiado neste trabalho, é uma literatura, sobretudo, eficiente na cristalização dos fenômenos que cercam o cotidiano urbano, e uma escrita adequada a captar e a retransmitir percepções paisagísticas genuínas e espontâneas. Para enfrentar a maleabilidade e as polissemias envolvidas nos conceitos que cercam tais paisagens, foi utilizada a análise do discurso. Pelo viés semiótico, as paisagens na obra de Luís Martins foram entendidas como um discurso da paisagem que são fenômenos portadores de intenções, crenças e afetos. São também representações sociais do espaço urbano, paisagens literárias que circularam abundantemente durante décadas pela imprensa paulista, através de inúmeros textos e milhares de pessoas. / This work proposes an approach between Geography and Literature. Basically interdisciplinary, the work presents the landscape as a converging element of these two disciplines. Under the geographical aspect, studies on the urban landscape of São Paulo and its transformations during the twentieth century have been conducted. Special attention has been given to the changes from the city of masonry to the city of concrete, taking into consideration the emerging industrial city and its influences on the new landscapes. For that reason, an analysis has been made of the work of writer and journalist Luís Martins, a regular cultural producer of this period, a man committed to his time and world. The style chronicle, highlighted in this work, is an efficient kind of literature as to the crystallization of the phenomena which surround the urban daily life, and an appropriate form of writing to capture and convey genuine and spontaneous landscape perceptions. In order to face the malleability and polysemy involved in the concepts that surround such landscapes we have used discourse analysis. So, with the use of semiotics, the landscapes in Luís Martins work have been understood as a landscape discourse. They are phenomena which bear intentions, beliefs, and affections. They are also social representations of the urban space; literary landscapes which were abundantly spread for decades by the press in São Paulo, through a number of texts and thousands of people.

Nota-se, no entanto, que ela não tem sido um item prioritário na prática pedagógica da maioria dos professores da escola básica. A partir da constatação de que o ensino da Física das Radiações constitui um desafio para professores, objetivamos investigar o funcionamento da leitura e da interpretação da Física das Radiações Ionizantes por alunos do ensino médio quando da leitura de textos de divulgação científica. Procuramos encontrar resposta para o seguinte problema: Como acontece e que aspectos marcam o funcionamento da leitura e a interpretação da Física das Radiações Ionizantes por alunos do ensino médio quando da leitura de textos de divulgação científica? Optamos por um modelo de pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, na qual identificamos livros e textos de divulgação científica que abordam a "Física das Radiações Ionizantes" para a elaboração e implementação de um episódio de ensino. O episódio foi implementado em turmas de 3° ano do Ensino Médio. Como instrumentos de coleta de informações, damos ênfase ao uso de produções textuais e vídeo-gravação. On the other hand, it is noteworthy that it has not been a priority item in pedagogical practice of most of the Primary School teachers. Based at basic observation that the teaching of Radiation Physics is a challenge for teachers, we aim to investigate the reading and interpretation of Radiation Physics by high school students when reading scientific texts. According to the proposed objective, we formulated the problem that structures this research and we present it as follows: How and what aspects mark the functioning of the reading and the interpretation of the Physics of Ionizing Radiation by high school students when reading texts of scientific dissemination? We chose a research model with a qualitative approach, in which we identified books and texts of scientific divulgation that approach the "Ionizing Radiation Physics", so that they could be developed with the students. As instruments of information gathering, we emphasize the use of textual productions and video-recording. For the analysis data, we take into account the theoretical contributions of French Discourse Analysis, based on the production by Michel Pechêux, and Eni Orlandi's oeuvre. The reading of texts of scientific dissemination and the use of questionnaires formulated with open questions can favor the emergence of discussions. Neste trabalho, teremos a análise de canções buarquianas do período da ditadura militar brasileira com temática sociopolítica. Julgamos pertinente a abordagem de canções historicamente datadas em um período que, devido à opressão e à repressão em relação à manifestação de opiniões, foi permeado e delineado por tensões e por controvérsias, sobretudo no âmbito discursivo. Destaquemos ainda que, no contexto, temos por meio de diversas canções da época um espaço discursivo de resistência e de manifestações acerca de temas cerceados ou proibidos por mecanismos diversos. Assim, percebemos nas canções analisadas uma situação retórica com especificidades comuns: o tratamento de temas tensivos opressão versus liberdade e a mobilização de paixões a partir desses temas. Iniciamos nosso trabalho realizando uma breve contextualização histórica devido à pertinência de abordar alguns aspectos do contexto de produção das referidas canções a fim de revisitarmos, mesmo que de maneira breve, as relações de tensão e o embate de ideias e de ideais presentes à época. Em relação à abordagem do corpus, nós o consideramos como uma manifestação artística popular, uma prática associada a um projeto final. Cabe destacar que a canção tem sua letra organizada musicalmente, considerando a melos, aqui assimilada como todos os elementos musicais que se sincretizam à letra e que padronizam e estabilizam as entoações as alturas das sílabas musicais dos versos da canção (as unidades entoativas). Dessa forma, consideramos, no âmbito da melos, as entonações a tonalidade, o timbre, enfim, aspectos harmônicos da modulação vocal e instrumental; o andamento, o ritmo, a celeridade; as entoações e suas alturas; a densidade musical. Essa abordagem da melos justifica-se, pois em nosso corpus, além da letra, concorrem diversos elementos que se sincretizam, engendrando efeitos de sentido e servindo a propósitos retórico-persuasivos. Assim, o corpus de análise por nós escolhido possui uma complexidade de abordagem singular e convoca uma fundamentação teórica interdisciplinar capaz de analisar as grandezas linguísticas e não linguísticas que se articulam no plano da expressão da canção. Utilizaremos, então, como arcabouço teórico, conceitos da semiótica discursiva, tensiva e da semiótica aplicada à canção e associaremos as categorias depreendidas à retórica. Verificaremos, assim, em que medida muitas canções de Chico Buarque do período ix operaram como um espaço retórico alternativo. Abordaremos, desse modo, as estratégias e os recursos discursivos utilizados para alcançar determinados efeitos de sentido e a forma pela qual as referidas canções podem ser associadas a um ato retórico como resposta às configurações sociopolíticas no Brasil. Teremos, portanto, como objetivo central da pesquisa mostrar como o cantor e compositor, em referência, instala uma situação retórica em que ele se constitui como um orador (o ethos), diante de um auditório, com o intuito de mobilizar paixões (o pathos), utilizando o discurso para tratar aquilo que se coloca em questão (o logos), tendo na referida situação retórica o suporte musical como parte da cena enunciativa, a melodia e outros elementos musicais (a melos). Assim, evidenciaremos os recursos retórico-argumentativos presentes nas canções, com o objetivo de, nelas, destacar sua discursividade / We present in this thesis an analysis of some Chico Buarque songs with social and political thematic written and recorded during the brazilian military dictatorship. We considered the approach of historically dated songs in a dictatorship period that, besides the oppression and repression over the act of showing opinions, it is known for its tensions and controversies, especially in the discursive area. We emphasize, within this context, that some of those songs have created a discursive moment of resistance and manifestation over prohibited and controlled themes by several means. Therefore, we have noticed a rhetoric situation with common specificities in those songs: the treatment for tense subjects as oppression versus freedom and the mobilization of passions through those subjects. We started our research presenting a brief historical contextualization. We also showed, even in few words, some aspects on the production of those songs that we considered as important, because they show the tension and the opposition of ideas and ideals of that time. We consider our corpus as a popular artistic manifestation, an artistic act associated to a final project. We must emphasize that every song has its lyric musically organized, considering the melos, defined here as all the musical elements that blend in with the lyrics and standardize the intonations, the pitch in which the syllabus of the song verses are orally sung. So, we worked, within the scope of the melos, with the tone, the timbre and, in other words, with the vocal and instrumental harmonic aspects; the progress, the rhythm, the celerity; the intonations and its pitch; the musical density, etc. We preferred to work with the melos approach because several other elements are combined, leading to sense effects and serving to rhetoric and persuasive purposes. This reason confers to this corpus a complex and unique possibility of approach and proposes it to be analyzed under a cross curricular theoretical basis that must be able to consider the elements articulated in a song. Some concepts of the following academic areas were used to produce the present analysis as the discursive and tensive semiotics applied to song, and, in a second moment, the rhetoric categories. Thus, we could verify how Chico Buarque songs worked as an alternative rhetoric moment. Finally, we present the strategies and discursive resources used to reach some sense effects, showing how the referred songs may be associated to a rhetoric act in response to the social and political xi configurations of Brazil during that time. So, the aim of this thesis is to show how Chico Buarque, as a singer and composer, provokes a rhetoric situation in which he is the speaker (ethos), who faces the audience in order to mobilize passions (pathos), using his discourse to expose what is in his mind (logos), and having the musical support as a part of the enunciative scene, as the melody and other musical elements (melos). Therefore, we showed strategies and argumentative resources found in those songs in an attempt to emphasize its discursivity

Nesta dissertação, o objetivo central é investigar, de uma perspectiva discursiva da Análise de Discurso de linha francesa - AD, as condições de produção do discurso da mulher esclarecida no interior de Feira de utilidades, coluna feminina publicada entre agosto de 1959 e fevereiro de 1961, escrita por Clarice Lispector com o pseudônimo de Helen Palmer. Observamos, também, como a linguagem reflete e refrata as condições de produção em sua materialização, nos enunciados, as marcas das formações discursivas de uma época. Ao evidenciar essas marcas, o discurso constrói uma \"maneira de dizer\" - um ethos que visa a sua individualização. Partindo da hipótese de que a coluna feminina, por ser um gênero discursivo com aspecto mais autoral, apresenta uma cenografia mais movediça, centramos nosso percurso teórico na problemática dos gêneros discursivos. Partindo dos pressupostos teórico-metodológicos de Maingueneau (1984; 1987; 1991; 1998; 2004), segundo o qual o gênero, enquanto prática discursiva, deve ser abordado como um ritual convencionado socialmente e submetido a um critério de êxito; essa etapa procura analisar o modo de genericidade da coluna, ou seja, observar a relação entre cena genérica e cenografia. Respondida a questão de como se dá o funcionamento do gênero coluna feminina nas páginas do jornal Correio da Manhã, passamos à segunda etapa da análise, que tem como objetivo responder à seguinte questão: Como Feira de Utilidades, no processo de sua constituição, legitima a discursividade da mulher esclarecida? Para realizar tal análise, mobilizamos o conceito de ethos proposto por Maingueneau. / This dissertation examines, under the rubric of French Discourse Analysis, how the discourse of the clever woman was produced in Feira de utilidades - female column published from August 1959 to February 1961 by Clarice Lispector who wrote under a pseudonym \"Helen Palmer\". We also analyzed how the language reflects and refracts on the discourse the marks of a discursive formation of a specific age. Because of these marks, the discourse builds an ethos in order to individualize its existence. From the hypothesis that the female column is a kind of a discursive genre which has an authorial aspect (mobile scenery), we focused our theoretical way on the problematic of the discursive genre. On the basis of the concepts derived from the studies of Dominique Maingueneau (1984; 1987; 1991; 1998; 2004), genre is a discursive practice which must be seen as a conventional social ritual under a criteria of existence; this part of this dissertation analyze the relation between generic scene and scenery. After answering this question of how the genre female column works on Correio da Manhã, we moved into our second question that was to analyze how Feira de utilidades, on the process of its constitution, legitimize the discourse of the clever woman. In order to find an answer for this question, we mobilized the concept of ethos studied by Maingueneau.

A presente tese visa a apresentar uma análise dos procedimentos retóricoargumentativos empregados pelo apóstolo Paulo em suas epístolas, a saber: Romanos, 1 e 2 Coríntios, Gálatas, Filipenses, 1 Tessalonicenses e Filemon. Todas as consultas que lhes foram feitas basearam-se nos textos gregos, o que permitiu, o quanto possível, uma maior proximidade dos discursos originais, sempre levando em conta as suas condições de produção, sobretudo no que diz respeito à construção da imagem do orador, aos diferentes auditórios e aos mecanismos de convencimento e de persuasão. Os objetivos da presente análise são contribuir para o desenvolvimento dos estudos das indissociáveis noções de hq= oj (êthos), paq, oj (páthos) e log, oj (lógos), em suas funções argumentativas em discursos religiosos antigos, e colaborar para a incrementação da competência retórica de leitura desse gênero textual. Tendo como teorias de base a Retórica de Aristóteles e a Nova Retórica de Chaïm Perelman e seus sucessores, o exame do corpus paulinum põe em evidência a relação discursiva entre orador e auditório e as necessárias adaptações e estratégias discursivas dela decorrentes. De maneira complementar, com o auxílio de teorias semióticas, analisa-se também os discursos paulinos registrados por Lucas em Atos dos Apóstolos, fonte que, embora seja alvo das mais polêmicas discussões a respeito da credibilidade de seu teor, ainda mantém o seu grau relativo de importância para esta pesquisa, em função dos relatos discursivos que Paulo teria feito em suas viagens missionárias. / The aim of this thesis is to present an analysis of the rethorical argumention schemes employed by Paul the Apostle in his epistles, namely: Romans, 1 and 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Philippians, 1 Thessalonians and Philemon. All inquiries made in them were based on Greek texts, which allowed, as much as possible, a greater closeness to the original speeches, always taking into account their production conditions, particularly in relation to the image-building of the speaker to the different audiences and the mechanisms of persuasion and conviction. The goals of this analysis are to contribute to the development of the studies of the indissociable hq= oj (ethos), paq, oj (pathos) e log, oj (logos), notions in their argumentative functions in ancient religious discourses, as well as to contribute to the increment of the reading rhetorical skills of this textual genre. Based on foundation theories such as Aristotle\'s Rhetoric and the New Rhetoric elaborated by Chaïm Perelman and his successors, the investigation of the corpus Paulinum highlights the discursive relationship between speaker and audience, as well the necessary adjustments and discursive strategies entailed by this association. In a complementary way and with the support from Semiotic theories, we also analyse the Pauline speeches recorded by Luke in Acts; a source that, although the most controversial issues targeted about the credibility of its contents, still maintains a relative degree of importance to this research because of the discursive reports that Paul would have done in his missionary journeys.

O silêncio é aqui assumido em duas categorias: (1) ausência, que representa o não dizer, e (2) excesso, que compreende a sobreposição que a palavra instaura sobre o silêncio ou sobre outras palavras. Essas relações dialéticas e complementares fazem do silêncio, mais que um apagamento das vozes do discurso, um procedimento de instauração da heterogeneidade. Sustentada na Análise do Discurso de linha francesa, discutiu-se o processo de constituição dos sentidos como movimento, do qual participa(m), o(s) silêncio(s), a palavra e a relação dialética entre eles, tendo como objetivos: (a) Identificar e discutir a existência de indícios (internos e/ou externos ao texto) que remetam o leitor para o silêncio; (b) discutir relações entre operações metaenunciativas, relações intertextuais e o texto escrito; c) no universo de textos selecionados da produção borgeana, apontar algumas especificidades do texto literário escrito enquanto configuração específica de silêncio(s) como procedimentos de instauração de heterogeneidade mostrada. Discutiram-se ainda as relações entre silêncio, autoria e funções do autor e do leitor, aspectos diretamente ligados às concepções e ao fazer estético da obra borgeana. Quanto a esta última, buscou-se caracterizá-la como um jogo dialético entre diversidades de silêncios, heterogêneos, e a relação destes com a palavra. / Abstract: This thesis undertakes a reflection on the silence in relation to the production of the senses, using as corpus literary texts of Jorge Luís Borges, related to the thematic of the mirror, metaphor used in this work to represent the silent path of the movement of the meanings. The silence is assumed here in two categories: (1) absence, that represents the non-saying, and (2) excess, which represents the superposition that the word establishes on the silence or on other words. Those dialectic and complimentary relationships with the silence, more than a deletion of the voices of the discourse, is a procedure of establishment of the heterogeneity. Sustained in the Discourse Analysis of French line, the process of constitution of the meanings was discussed as movement, of which participate, silence(s), the word and the dialectic relationship among them. The work's objectives are the following: (a) to identify and to discuss the existence of indications (internal and/or external to the text) that send the reader for the silence; (b) to discuss relationships among metaenunciative operations, intertextual relationships and the written text; c) in the universe of selected texts of the borgean production, to point out some specificities of the literary writing text while specific configuration of silence(s) as procedures of establishment of shown heterogeneity. They were still discussed the relationships among silence, authorship and the author's and the reader's functions, aspects directly linked to the conceptions and to the aesthetic of the borgean work. Related to this last one, they were characterised as a dialectic game between diversities of silences, heterogeneous, and the relationship of these with the word. / Doutor

Objetivo: O cinema é um produto cultural constituído por discursos e significações e contribui para a formação de subjetividades. Esta pesquisa busca identificar em três longas-metragens nacionais contemporâneos o sistema de valores e ideias que orienta, situa e delimita as práticas maternas na sociedade brasileira e de que maneira os efeitos de sentido que constroem reforçam, transformam ou degradam a representação social materna. Métodos: Enquadramento teórico-metodológico interdisciplinar, que tem como base a Análise do Discurso oriunda da Escola Francesa, em diálogo com conceitos-chave da teoria da representação social, os estudos culturais e os estudos de gênero. Resultados: Com base nas análises, concluímos que a representação social da mãe brasileira contemporânea está ligada à ideologia da maternidade intensiva. Nos três filmes do corpus identificamos também contradiscursos que se contrapõem ao modelo vigente, o que aponta possível desgaste da representação social materna atual e o surgimento de mudanças e transformações relacionadas a ela no futuro. / Objective: Cinema is a cultural product that carries discourses and meanings and contributes to the formation of subjectivities. This research seeks to identify in three domestic contemporary feature films the range of values and ideas that guide, situate and delimit the maternal practices in Brazilian society and in what ways the meanings that they produce reinforce, transform or degrade maternal social representation. Methods: Interdisciplinary theoretical-methodological framework, based on French discourse analysis, in dialogue with key concepts of social representation theory, cultural studies and gender studies. Results: Based on the analysis, we concluded that the social representation of the contemporary Brazilian mother is linked to the ideology of intensive motherhood. In the three films of the corpus we also identified discourses that are contrary to the current model, which indicates a possible erosion of the current maternal social representation and an emergence of changes and transformations related to it in the future.

Sua Prova de Redação vem chamando atenção da comunidade escolar e da sociedade em geral, por conta do baixíssimo índice de textos avaliados com nota máxima. Embora a banca de correção tenha tornando seus critérios mais exigentes, o Inep publica, anualmente, pouco antes da realização da prova, a Cartilha do Participante, material oficial cujo objetivo é "contribuir para aperfeiçoar" os estudos do aluno-participante do Exame e "tornar ainda mais transparente a metodologia de avaliação da redação e mais evidente o que se espera do participante em cada uma das competências avaliadas" (Inep, 2017), apresentando a Matriz de Referência para Redação do Enem, a Prova de Redação da edição anterior e uma amostra de textos avaliados com a nota 1.000. Com base na perspectiva teórico-metodológica da Análise do Discurso pecheuxtiana, buscamos discutir, nesta pesquisa, de que maneira a Cartilha do Participante instrui/orienta o aluno-participante do Enem a alcançar um modelo de escrita. Para isso, pretendemos (i) depreender as imagens construídas pelo Inep, na Cartilha, sobre si mesmo, seu interlocutor - o aluno-participante do Exame - e seu referente - a Redação no Enem; (ii) pontuar as concepções de leitura/leitor e escrita/escrevente que permeiam esse documento. Nosso olhar para esse material considera o processo discursivo enquanto efeito de sentidos, e não apenas a... / Abstract: Enem is a Brazilian national assessment of great relevance, since it is, nowadays, the largest college entrance exam in Brazil. Its Writing Test has been drawing attention from the school community and society in general, due to the very low index of texts evaluated with a maximum score. Although evaluation commission has made its criteria more demanding, Inep publishes, shortly before the exam, an official guidance material, Cartilha do Participante, which aims to contribute to improve the applicant's studies and to make the writing evaluation methodology even more transparent and make what is expected from the applicant in each of the evaluated competencies more evident (Inep, 2017), presenting Matriz de Referências para a Redação no Enem - the assessment instrument that gather these competencies - the Writing Test of the previous edition and a sample of texts evaluated with maximum score. Based on French branch of Discourse Analysis theoretical-methodological perspective, settled by M. Pêcheux, we aim to discuss, in this work, in which way Cartilha do Participante instructs/guides the Enem applicant-student to achieve an essay model. We intend to (i) infer the images constructed by Inep, in the book, about itself, its interlocutor - the applicant-student of Enem - and its referent - the essay in Enem; (ii) punctuate the reading/reader and writing/writer concepts that permeate this document. Orientador: Marcia Reami Pechula / Resumo: O Discurso Sobre o Emagrecimento (DSE) circula no Facebook e Instagram, produzindo sentidos que afetam sujeitos que acompanham diariamente perfis de leigos e profissionais de saúde nessas redes sociais. Os dizeres do senso comum e os que são apropriados do meio científico são repetidos infinitamente, até que seus sentidos se tornem naturais por efeito da ideologia. Emagrecer nunca pareceu tão simples, e seguir as “dicas” disponíveis na internet faz com que se reforcem discursos que não são benéficos à população, causando risco de adoecê-la ainda mais, já que a obesidade é considerada uma pandemia na atualidade. Duas posições sujeito (leigos e profissionais de saúde) foram acompanhadas, e seus discursos compuseram o corpus, que foi se revelando aos poucos e mostrando como no DSE o sujeito se movimenta a todo instante, identificando-se e desidentificando-se com sentidos de uma formação discursiva bastante heterogênea. O verbal e o não verbal foram considerados em suas materialidades distintas, significando em conjunto, e, mesmo quando houve a necessidade de verbalização, as imagens e seu modo de significar singulares foram destacados. Por haver uma aproximação dos discursos das duas posições sujeito em um espaço onde as linhas que separam o científico do não científico estão cada vez mais finas e esburacadas, elegemos o discurso da dona de casa Eloísa Helena para mostrar os movimentos do DSE, seus sentidos mais recorrentes e como a ideologia trabalha em uma era de pós-verdade, ... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: Discourse on Slimming (DSE) circulates on Facebook and Instagram, producing meanings that affect subjects that daily accompanies profiles of laypeople and health professionals in these social networks. The sayings of common sense and those appropriated of the scientific community are repeated infinitely until their meanings become natural by the effect of ideology. Slimming never seemed so simple, and following the "tips" available on the internet, reinforces discourses that are not beneficial to the population, causing the risk of getting it sick even more, since obesity is considered a pandemic nowadays. Two subject positions (laypeople and health professionals) were followed, and their discourses composed the corpus, which gradually revealed itself and showed how in the DSE the subject moves at all times, identifying and disidentificating himself with meanings of a very heterogeneous discursive formation. Verbal and nonverbal were considered in their distinct materialities, meaning together, and even when there was a need for verbalization, the images and their singular way of meaning were highlighted. Because there is an approximation in the discourses of the two subject positions in a space where the lines that separate the scientific from the non-scientific are increasingly thin and bumpy, we choose the discourse of the housewife Eloisa Helena to show the movements of the DSE, their recurrent meanings and how ideology works in an era of post-truth, in which the meanings... This work was born of concern experienced by a university professor of computer science as it passes to attend the master in science of language, experiences and the consequent fall of paradigms resulting from the interaction with the disciplines of analysis of speech and speech of dissemination of science. This work is based therefore on the analysis of discourse as a method of reflection on the texts of the websites to disseminate science.
