Après avoir présenté le contexte professionnel dans lequel s'est inscrit cette recherche (formateur "Corps et Voix" à l'IUFM puis à la Faculté d'Éducation-ÉSPÉ de Montpellier), j'expliquerai comment s'en sont dégagés les fondements de la problématique et les objets centraux de la recherche : le paradigme de la corporéité et le processus d'actualisation des signifiants. Je m'efforcerai d'en clarifier l'origine, la logique et les processus de structuration dans l'individu, en montrant l'importance de ces phénomènes dans la communication enseignante, sur le plan physiologique et prophylactique, sur le plan relationnel et pédagogique, et sur le plan didactique (comme vecteur et comme objet d'apprentissage). M'appuyant sur la théorie de la praxématique, je m'intéresserai alors à la méthode gestuelle de lecture Borel-Maisonny car cet étrange artefact me permettra de prolonger mes investigations à l'autre extrémité du panorama scolaire français, lorsque les enseignants guident les premiers apprentissages langagiers réflexifs et normés. Je montrerai quelle place est faite à la corporéité dans les textes et dans les pratiques, comment les enseignants gèrent les processus d'actualisation des signifiants, et en quoi leur formation sur ces points apparaît comme déficitaire. Après avoir formulé quelques hypothèses explicatives sur cet état de fait, je proposerai des pistes de remédiation et clarifierai les enjeux pour la formation des enseignants, et pour l'enseignement en France. / After presenting the professional context in which this research registered (trainer "Body and Voice" in IUFM then at the Faculty of Education-ESPE of Montpellier), I will explain how have emerged the foundations of the problematic and the central objects of this study : the paradigm of corporeality and the signifiers actualization process. I will try to clarify the origin, the logic and the structuring process in the individual, showing the importance of these phenomena in the teaching communication, physiologically and prophylactically, relationally and pedagogically, and didactically (as a vehicle and as a learning object). Basing on the theory of praxématique I will then take interest to the Borel-Maisonny gestural reading method because this strange artifact will allow me to extend my investigations at the other end of the French school panorama, when teachers guide the first reflexive and normed language learnings. I will show what place is made for corporeality in the texts and practices, how teachers manage the process of signifiers actualization, and how their training on these issues appears to be lacunary. After making some explanatory hypotheses on this fact, I will intend to propose some ways of remediation and will clarify the issues for teacher training, and for teaching in France.

To achieve this goal, we will analyze the book 'The struggles of the people of Borel,' written by Manoel Gomes, a local resident and former communist militant, and the Condutores de Memória project, carried out by residents of the favelas of Borel and Casa Branca in partnership with the Agenda Social Rio, we intend to consider the characteristics of the articulation of different actors in the development of storage media slum dwellers from the case of Borel and how different historical contexts can interfere the instrumentalization of memory as a political claim. / O objetivo do presente trabalho é elaborar uma reflexão sobre os processos de construção e os usos políticos da memória na favela do Borel. Para o alcance dessa finalidade, serão analisados o livro 'As lutas do povo do Borel', de autoria de Manoel Gomes, ex-morador local e ex-militante comunista, já falecido, e o projeto Condutores de Memória, realizado por moradoras das favelas do Borel e da Casa Branca em parceria com a Agenda Social Rio. Desse modo, pretende-se pensar as características da articulação de diferentes atores na elaboração de suportes de memória de moradores de favelas, a partir do caso do Borel, bem como a forma como diferentes contextos históricos podem interferir na instrumentalização da memória como forma de reivindicação política.

Borel determinacy states that if G(T;X) is a game and X is Borel, then G(T;X) is determined. Proved by Martin in 1975, Borel determinacy is a theorem of ZFC set theory, and is, in fact, the best determinacy result in ZFC. However, the proof uses sets of high set theoretic type (N1 many power sets of ω). Friedman proved in 1971 that these sets are necessary by showing that the Axiom of Replacement is necessary for any proof of Borel Determinacy. To prove this, Friedman produces a model of ZC and a Borel set of Turing degrees that neither contains nor omits a cone; so by another theorem of Martin, Borel Determinacy is not a theorem of ZC. This paper contains three main sections: Martin's proof of Borel Determinacy; a simpler example of Friedman's result, namely, (in ZFC) a coanalytic set of Turing degrees that neither contains nor omits a cone; and finally, the Friedman result.

The main purpose of this thesis is to calculate the integral cohomology ring of the symmetric square of quaternionic projective space, which has been an open problem since computations with symmetric squares were first proposed in the 1930's. The geometry of this particular case forms an essential part of the thesis, and unexpected results concerning two universal Pin(4) bundles are also included. The cohomological computations involve a commutative ladder of long exact sequences, which arise by decomposing the symmetric square and the corresponding Borel space in compatible ways. The geometry and the cohomology of the configuration space of unordered pairs of distinct points in quaternionic projective space, and of the Thom space MPin(4), also feature, and seem to be of independent interest.

We investigate F-Borel topological spaces. We focus on finding out how a complexity of a space depends on where the space is embedded. Of a particular interest is the problem of determining whether a complexity of given space X is absolute (that is, the same in every compactification of X). We show that the complexity of metrizable spaces is absolute and provide a sufficient condition for a topological space to be absolutely Fσδ. We then investigate the relation between local and global complexity. To improve our understanding of F-Borel spaces, we introduce different ways of representing an F-Borel set. We use these tools to construct a hierarchy of F-Borel spaces with non-absolute complexity, and to prove several other results. 1

Les grassmanniennes symplectiques et, plus généralement, les variétés de drapeaux symplectiques, sont les variétés de sous-espaces isotropes, respectivement de drapeaux de sous-espaces isotropes, relativement à une 2-forme antisymétrique non dégénérée. Ce sont les variétés projectives homogènes du groupe symplectique.<br />Nous étudions les grassmanniennes et les variétés de drapeaux symplectiques impaires, qui sont des objets analogues associés à une 2-forme antisymétrique générique sur un espace vectoriel complexe de dimension impaire. Ces variétés sont munies d'actions naturelles du groupe symplectique impair des transformations linéaires qui préservent la forme antisymétrique. Nous montrons que, bien que ces actions ne soient pas transitives, ces variétés partagent de nombreuses propriétés avec les variétés homogènes.<br />En particulier, nous calculons le groupe d'automorphismes des grassmanniennes symplectiques impaires et obtenons que tous ces automorphismes proviennent de l'action du groupe symplectique impair. De même, nous établissons un théorème de type Borel-Weil pour le groupe symplectique impair et explicitons le lien entre certaines classes de représentations de ce groupe construites par Proctor et par Shtepin. Nous étudions également la cohomologie équivariante de la variété des drapeaux symplectiques impairs maximaux. Nous obtenons une formule de type Chevalley-Pieri et nous donnons une présentation à la Borel de l'anneau de cohomologie équivariante. De cette dernière, nous déduisons que l'anneau de cohomologie ordinaire de la variété des drapeaux symplectiques impairs maximaux est isomorphe à l'anneau de cohomologie ordinaire de la variété de drapeaux quadratiques.

Wir berechnen L&sup2;-Invarianten bestimmter nichtuniformer Gitter in halbeinfachen Lie-Gruppen mithilfe der Borel-Serre-Kompaktifizierung arithmetisch definierter lokalsymmetrischer Räume. Als Hauptergebnisse erhalten wir neue Abschätzungen für Novikov-Shubin-Zahlen und das Verschwinden der L&sup2;-Torsion für Gitter in Gruppen mit geradem Fundamentalrang. Wir diskutieren Anwendungen auf Gromovs Null-im-Spektrum-Vermutung sowie auf eine Proportionalitätsvermutung für die L&sup2;-Torsion maßäquivalenter Gruppen. Im Schlussteil der Arbeit beschreiben wir einen Anpassungsvorgang für Chevalley-Basen komplexer halbeinfacher Lie-Algebren. Zu einer gegebenen Realform liefert dieser eine Basis mit halb- und ganzzahligen Strukturkonstanten, die wir durch das Wurzelsystem mit Involution ausdrücken.
