Förskolan som trygg bas - om anknytning i förskolan

Under vår utbildning upplever vi att vi har läst mycket om barns lärande i förskolan medan omsorgen inte alls har fått lika stor plats. Vi vill med denna undersökning ta reda om förskolan arbetar med att barn ska känns sig trygga i förskolan. Ser förskollärarna svårigheter med det uppdraget? Vi ville också att utomstående beteendevetare skulle bidra till undersökningen med sina tankar, förhoppningar och förväntningar på förskolan. Vi intervjuade därför fyra förskollärare, två psykologer och en socionom. Ett insamlat empiriskt underlag analyserades från ett anknytningsperspektiv. Det vi kan se är att de förskollärare vi intervjuade strävar efter att alla barn ska känna sig trygga i förskolan och att de ska lämna förskolan med positiva erfarenheter från personalen som arbetar där. Psykologerna och socionomerna ansåg att förskolan kan verka kompensatoriskt för barn med dålig anknytning. Det är relationen till personalen som är viktig för anknytningen. De ansåg att det var viktigt för barns utveckling och anknytning att personalen hade kunskap om anknytning och hur olika former av otrygg anknytning kan visa sig. Vi kan se att förskollärarna arbetar på ett sätt som stämmer överens med de utomstående beteendevetarnas förhoppningar om förskolan.

En god introduktion i förskolan

Vårt examensarbete inriktar sig på hur förskollärare tolkar läroplanens citat om den goda introduktionen och hur de arbetar med inskolning och anknytning. Vi har gjort vår studie på två förskolor i sydvästra Skåne där vi intervjuade fyra pedagoger, två på vardera förskola. Vi har utgått ifrån en kvalitativ metod där semistrukturerade intervjuer har legat till grund för svaren på våra frågeställningar. Syfte med studien är att undersöka vad som menas med ‟‟en god introduktion‟‟ genom att undersöka hur förskolor arbetar med inskolning och anknytning ur ett pedagogiskt perspektiv. I studien har vi utgått ifrån ett anknytningsteoretiskt perspektiv. Resultatet i studien visar att pedagogerna anser att läroplanens citat om den goda introduktionen är till för såväl vårdnadshavare som barn. Det är viktigt att båda parterna känner en trygghet för att kunna uppnå en god introduktion. Pedagogerna anser att inskolningsmetoden är viktig och en individanpassad inskolningsmetod var den metod som de förespråkade. Anknytning går inte att förbise då den utgör större delen av inskolningen. Resultatet visar att tryggheten är den faktor som pedagogerna anser vara mest betydelsefull vid anknytningen i samband med inskolningen. Nyckelord: Inskolning, anknytning, trygg bas, individanpassar, trygghet. / Our study is based upon the preschool-teacher‟s interpretation of the teacher‟s guide-quote on the "good introduction" and their approach to introductions and human attachment. We have done our studies on two preschools in the South Western part of Skane, Sweden where we have performed interviews with four preschool teachers - two on each preschool. We have used a qualitative method based on semi-structured interviews to retrieve answers to our questions. The meaning of the study is to elaborate on the phrase "a good introduction" through researching how preschools are working with introductions and human attachment from a teacher‟s perspective. We have based our research on a “theory-of-attachment” perspective. The result of our study shows that the teachers have embraced the teacher‟s guide-quote on "the good introduction" as a tool for both caretakers and children. It is imperative that both parties feel comfortable to achieve a good introduction. The teachers see the method of introduction as being important, just as they recommend the individually adapted method of introduction. The importance of human attachment cannot be underestimated as it is the major part of the introduction. The result shows, that comfort and trust is the most important factor considered by the teachers for the human attachment in relation to the introduction.

An Exploration of Impediments to Attachment in a Juvenile Offender Population: Comparisons between Juvenile Sex Offenders, Juvenile Violent Offenders And Juvenile Non-Sex, Non-Violent Offenders

This current study addresses potential impediments to attachment that may differentiate between incarcerated juveniles who have committed sexual crimes and incarcerated juveniles who have not committed such offenses. The exploration of such potential barriers to attachment has been organized around Bronfenbrenner's Ecological Model. Subjects were 2948 incarcerated male adolescents adjudicated to the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice and were divided based solely upon adjudicating offense: Juvenile non-violent, non-sexual offenders (JNVNSO, n=1149), Juvenile violent, non-sexual offenders (JVNSO, n=1433) and Juvenile sexual offenders (JSO, n=366). Results indicated that JSOs differed from JNVNSOs and JVNSOs in their histories of sexual abuse as well as placements in foster care. Attachment impairment and the number of risk factors present were also found to be significantly related. Future research directions and potential policy repercussions are also addressed.

Initially a review of concepts related to health was conducted; humanization concepts; Physical Rehabilitation; and theoretical concepts from theories focused on the issue of care and therapeutic bond. Seconded theorists in the study are Michael Balint and John Bowlby. The two authors were eminent psychoanalysts who have dedicated themselves to the study of human relations and more specifically, each in his own way, aspects of the bond in care relations. Later was presented the survey of 11 health professionals (social workers, psychologists, nurses, physiotherapists, speech therapists, nutritionists). The professionals participated in a semi-structured interview, focusing on issues relevant to theme. From this information contained in the speech of this group was able to discuss some important issues involved in this practice. Most individuals values listening, acceptance and empathy as important qualities and resources for the therapeutic encounter.. The academic internship experience is seen as an important tool for the preparation and training of professional, with regard to its contact with the patient, but most complained about the lack of larger space in the academic discussion related to the theme of professional-patient relationship, that all value as important to the quality of the performance and effectiveness of the service. The relationship established with patients, is for these professionals a help of offering opportunity to the next and also of growth and appreciation of life itself. However, they also report that often identify the emergence of fears, anguish and suffering before the sharing of patient experience. The group refers fears about their health and physical and mental integrity. Of these highlighted difficulties in dealing with the institutional aspects, the relationships between professionals and hierarchies, lack of time and workload. Shines the spotlight awareness of the need for health professionals to adopt measures and actions to ensure their own health in a comprehensive way, but through its investments you can see that part of these precautions are overlooked or excluded from their daily health care practices . Given the emotional impact many seek help and support with the spirituality, the contact with their families, friends and co-workers, but reinforce that participation in a structured and focused activity on this theme would offer a better personal resources development opportunity for more adequately cope with these subjective aspects that often find no room for discussion and elaboration in everyday reality. The speech expressed by this group of professionals does not allow generalizations, however justify the need for future studies and draws attention to the need for structuring resources and tools for many health professionals can develop and offer quality care through which can contribute even more effectively with the health of patients, while considering their own health and integrity / Por meio deste estudo buscou-se investigar a relação profissional de saúde e paciente com deficiência física a partir da percepção de profissionais que atuam na assistência em um programa de reabilitação física. Inicialmente foi realizada uma revisão de conceitos relacionados à saúde; conceitos de humanização; Reabilitação Física; e de conceitos teóricos oriundos de teorias voltadas para a questão do cuidado e vínculo terapêutico. Os teóricos destacados no estudo são Michael Balint e Jonh Bowlby. Os dois autores foram eminentes Psicanalistas que se dedicaram ao estudo das relações humanas e mais especificamente, cada um a seu modo, aos aspectos do vínculo nas relações de cuidado. Posteriormente foi apresentada a pesquisa realizada junto a 11 profissionais da área da saúde (Assistentes sociais, Psicólogos, Enfermeiros, Fisioterapeutas, Fonoaudiólogos, Nutricionistas). Os profissionais participaram de uma entrevista semi estruturada, com enfoque em questões pertinentes a temática. A partir destas informações contidas no discurso deste grupo foi possível discutir alguns aspectos relevantes presentes nesta prática. A maior parte dos indivíduos valoriza a escuta, o acolhimento e a empatia como importantes qualidades e recursos para o encontro terapêutico. A experiência de estágio acadêmico é apontada como uma importante ferramenta para a preparação e formação do profissional, no que se refere ao seu contato com o paciente, mas a maior parte se queixa da falta de maior espaço nos meios acadêmicos para discussão referente a temática da relação profissional-paciente, que todos valorizam como importante para a qualidade da atuação e efetividade do serviço. A relação estabelecida com os pacientes, representa para estes profissionais uma oportunidade de oferecimento de auxilio ao próximo e também de crescimento e valorização da própria vida. Entretanto, estes também descrevem que muitas vezes identificam o surgimento de medos, angustias e sofrimento diante do compartilhamento da experiência do paciente. O grupo refere receios em relação a própria saúde e integridade física e mental. Parte destes destacaram dificuldades em lidar com aspectos institucionais, relações entre profissionais , a falta de tempo e sobrecarga de trabalho . Todo o grupo evidencia consciência sobre a necessidade do profissional de saúde adotar medidas e ações que garantam a sua própria saúde de maneira integral, entretanto através de suas colocações é possível perceber que parte destes cuidados são negligenciados ou excluídos de suas práticas cotidianas de atenção à saúde. Diante do impacto emocional muitos procuram apoio e suporte junto à espiritualidade, ao contato com seus familiares, amigos e colegas de trabalho, mas reforçam que a participação em uma atividade estruturada e focada nesta temática poderia oferecer uma melhor oportunidade de desenvolvimento de recursos pessoais para o enfrentamento mais adequado destes aspectos subjetivos que muitas vezes não encontram espaço para discussão e elaboração na realidade cotidiana. O discurso expresso por este grupo de profissionais não permite generalizações, entretanto justifica a realização de estudos futuros e chama a atenção para a necessidade de estruturação de recursos e ferramentas para que os diversos profissionais de saúde possam se desenvolver e oferecerem um atendimento de qualidade através do qual possam contribuir de maneira ainda mais efetiva com a saúde de pacientes, sem deixar de considerar a sua própria saúde e integridade

Forskning har visat på samband mellan mående och anknytningsstil efter avslutade kärleksrelationer. Personer som upplevt en avslutad kärleksrelation (N= 158) besvarade Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, Attachment Style Questionnaire samt bakgrundsfrågor om den avslutade relationen. Respondenterna skattade signifikant högre på Ångest än normgruppen, och samtidigt signifikant högre på Distans, Sakorientering och Relationsfixering. I jämförelse med tryggt anknutna i studien skattade respondenter med undvikande och ambivalent anknytningsstil signifikant högre på Ångest. Respondenter med ambivalent anknytningsstil skattade även högre på Depression. Distans, Tillit, Bifallsbehov, Relationsfixering, vem som valt att avsluta relationen samt hur en respondent uppfattat relationen associerade signifikant till mående efter en avslutad kärleksrelation. Att undersöka ovan nämnda faktorer samt hur normer påverkar personers livssituation, kan ge värdefull information om vilken behandling personer med relationsproblematik kan bli hjälpt av. Compassion Focused Therapy kan vara en lämplig terapimetod för att öka förståelse för förväntningar kring relationer samt för anknytningens betydelse. / Research has shown a connection between mood and attachment style after the ending of romantic relationships. People who had experienced the end of a romantic relationship (N = 158) answered the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, Attachment Style Questionnaire and questions about the terminated relationship. Respondents rated significantly higher on Anxiety than the norm group, and simultaneously significantly higher on Discomfort with relationship, Relationship as secondary and Preoccupation with relationship. In comparison to respondents with secure style of attachment, respondents with avoidant or ambivalent style of attachment rated significantly higher on Anxiety. Respondents with ambivalent attachment simultaneously rated higher on Depression. Discomfort with relationship, Confidence in self and others, Need for approval, Preoccupation with relationship, who decided to end the relationship and how the respondent felt about the relationship turned out to be significantly related to mood, following the ending of a romantic relationship. To investigate the factors mentioned above and how values affect the client's life situation, may provide valuable information about which treatment clients with relationship problems may be helped by. Compassion Focused Therapy may be an appropriate method to increase understanding of the expectations about relationships as well as the influence of attachment.

African constructions of parenting : exploring conceptions of early attachment with isiZulu-speaking community caregivers.

John Bowlby made a profound contribution to the field of early parenting with his theory of attachment. He suggested that attachment theory has universal applicability. However, it has been argued that attachment theory is based upon a Western worldview, and as such, lacks applicability in cross-cultural contexts. In light of this objection, this study aimed to examine the relevancy of attachment theory within the South African context. In order to do this, a qualitative research design, employing focus groups, was set up to explore isiZulu-speaking mothers’ constructions of infant-caregiver relationships. Participants were recruited from two Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in KwaZulu-Natal. Each participant partook in three focus groups. The focus group data was analyzed using a form of thematic analysis. The group discussion provided support for attachment theory in the South African context. However, there appeared to be some cultural variations in the ways in which the attachment relationship is carried out within this context. In particular, it appeared that isiZulu-speaking mothers employ physical touch and a rapid response style with their infants. Furthermore, evidence emerged to suggest that there are certain barriers to the attachment relationship in South Africa. Finally, this research study showed that urbanization has had an important impact on parenting. As such, from this research, it can be concluded that attachment interventions are useful in South Africa, yet these may need to occur alongside other interventions.
