Ana Patricia de Souza Amaral 01 December 2015 (has links)
In the family business the existence of family conflicts, added to the competitiveness and innovation in the business market requires a look at new strategies needed, the role of management in the conduct of proceedings, and the reflection of the attitudes of it in other people who make family businesses. Porovnání traktorového a automobilového zemědělského dopravního systému s výměnnými nástavbami v podnicích zemědělské prvovýroby. / Comparing tractors and motorized vehicles transport systems with swap bodies in agricultural businesses engaged in primary production.

DVOŘÁK, Tomáš January 2010 (has links)
There are two transport systems used by agricultural businesses engaged in primary production. These are transport systems involving tractors and motorized vehicles. Transport systems involving tractors are made up of motorized vehicles and vehicles that are Toled Grand Super , or more specifically, a motor vehicle plus one or more vehicles that are towed along. A motorized vehicle refers to an agricultural traktor John Deere 6620. Motorized transport systems are comprised of Lorries Tatra 815 Agro. A lorry can only have one additional vehicle connected to itself. The transport systems mentioned above can be used in agricultural businesses engaged in primary production along with similar or identical productions. Motorized transport systems used in agricultural primary production are in the majority of cases applied to additional productions. This is the given transport system framework, which can be setup with adaptations for various uses. It therefore follows that the possibilities of comparing transport systems using universal undercarriages are increased. Expenditure associated with these transport systems, are easily compared. It is also possible to easily compare transport systems involving tractors with motorized transport systems as long as there is no need for more vehicles connected to them. It is obvious that the use of motorized transport systems for longer distances is preferable to transport systems involving tractors. Expenses for every driven kilometre with the comparable transport systems show a significant difference in cost. This difference is 36,85 Kč. On the other hand, it is preferable to use tractors for shorter distances involving a larger amount of material. he cost of one tonne of material transported is different about 11,55 Kč.

Spolupráce Regionálního finančního centra s malými a středními podniky / Cooperation of Region financial center with small and medium-sized businesses

MATUŠOVÁ, Dita January 2010 (has links)
Small and medium sized businesses play an important part in functioning economy. Due to the current economy crisis, enterpreneurs have to reevaluate their ecomonic strategies in order not only to remain prosperous, but to try to expand as well. Therefore it is important for them to choose the right banking institution that can satisfy their needs. Poor selection of bank product could cause financial burden for the business and would not meet the original expectations. The aim of this dissertation is to identify the hidden potential of the regional financial centre of the Poštovní spořitelna Bank in Ceske Budejovice (PSB), in order to get new clients amongst small and medium sized businesses. First, based on the findings in the questionnaire and business environment analysis, this dissertation will try to analyze certain PSB products for small and medium sized businesses. Secondly, to analyze the interest and demand of the businesses, their number and layout in South Bohemia, especially in Ceske Budejovice region. The above mentioned questionnaire and business environment analysis confirmed that small and medium sized businesses are not much aware of the PSB{\crq}s products, and therefore the use of them is rather poor. The solution may be a certain way of closer communication with small and medium sized businesses. Building this type of communication is dependant on regional marketing budget and thus not easy, due to the limited resources. The final decision maker in this case is the regional bank director. The PSB will cooperate with Association of small and medium sized businesses as well as with the South Bohemian Economic Chamber, and also will advertise in regional press.

Silva, Sandra Barbosa dos Santos 25 June 2018 (has links)
Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / The innovation has been pointed out by several studies (TORRES et al., 2017, COLBY, DOBNI, 2015, CARVALHO et al., 2015, SILVA, DACORSO, 2013, BESSANT and TIDD 2009) as a competitive energy source for business in a dynamic and globalized market. Regardless of the size and the segment, all businesses can innovate, because in countries like Brazil, small companies represent more than 90% of the country's total enterprises, being an important source of employability (SEBRAE, DIEESE, 2015). When searching specifically about frugal innovation, the objective was to describe how small businesses in the Itabaiana / SE region develop frugal innovation in their activities of producing goods and services in the light of Jugaad principles. The Jugaad innovation is in line with the Brazilian way, with the ability to adapt and improvise in the face of adversity in an ingenious way (RADJOU; PRABHU; AHUJA, 2012). This type of innovation follows six principles - seeking opportunities in adversity, doing more with less, being flexible, simplifying, giving the excluded a chance, and following the heart - consistent with the way innovation occurs in many small business in Brazil. The study is qualitative, using multiple case study strategy. For the collection of the evidences, documentary analysis, semi-structured interviews and direct observation were carried out in eight companies, two of them in the service sector, three in the industrial sector and three in the commercial sector. And the data were analyzed through individual case analysis and cross-case analysis. As the main results of the research were identified that six of the companies surveyed started the business when the owners sought opportunities in the personal adversities they faced, and only two companies emerged from the dream of their owners to undertake, as well as all entrepreneurs had prior knowledge on the field of activity, and all reported transforming the adversities that arise in their organizations in business opportunities, being the financial adversity pointed out as the main adversity faced by them; all respondents follow the principles of doing more with less in their organizations; in all the cases studied, the principle of flexibility was identified in actions such as: the change of the initial business model, and the interest in implementing innovative actions that are motivated by clients and / or competition; all the companies surveyed offer some kind of simple product, however good enough to solve the problems, needs or desires of the customers, while still maintaining the quality; all seek or have the majority of their clients poorly served or excluded by the market; and make decisions based on the following factors: intuition, empathy and / or passion. From the data analysis it was verified that the Jugaad principles are present in actions practiced by all the companies participating in the study. On some principles companies share the same type of action. Finally, the study presents a chart with examples of Jugaad actions found during the research to serve as inspiration for other SMEs.

Edström, Christoffer, Jalsing, Jacob January 2017 (has links)
The mobile industry is constantly changing, which has led to a fragmented market that smallbusinesses have difficulties to successfully establish in. Small businesses have had problemswith developing qualitative applications for different mobile devices. The main reason is theresource intensive process to develop native applications for multiple platforms andmaintaining the different codebases. Thus, smaller companies have usually chosen to developweb applications to deliver services to a more widespread target audience. Hybrid frameworkshave established themselves as a potential solution for developing mobile applications withhigher performance and functionality than web applications, while allowing developers to sharecode between platforms. In this study, employees of three smaller companies were interviewedto identify shared requirements held by small businesses to select a framework for applicationdevelopment. Based on the requirements, three hybrid frameworks were compared with thepurpose to identify which one was most suitable for small businesses. The results showed thatsmall businesses are different with varying needs and that there is no specific framework thatsuits all companies. On the other hand, it was found that all three hybrid frameworks comparedin the study were sufficiently developed to be implemented as potential solutions. With thatsaid, hybrid frameworks are not without flaws. Applications developed with hybrid frameworksdoes not yet achieve the same level of performance as native applications and is not platformindependent to the same extent as web applications.

Sex industry and Experiences of Female Sex Workers in Ngundu, Zimbabwe

Ngadhi, Collen Mafira 18 May 2018 (has links)
MA (Youth in Development) / Institute for Gender and Youth Studies / Commercial sex work (CSW) has turned out to be a subject of concern in most societies. CSW occurs in most countries of the world, and has existed since ancient times. Different nations have different viewpoints with regards to prostitution. In some nations it is illegal while in others it is legal. Prostitution is regarded as a social problem that offends culture, societal morals and values and leads to the spread of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). In most studies about sex work, male counterparts receive little attention but they play a role in the industry. In light of the profiled background context of the problem, this study explored the experiences of female sex workers (FSWs) at Ngundu Growth Point in Zimbabwe. This study endeavored to examine the circumstances that drive women into CSW and the impact of prostitution on the wellbeing of FSWs. The study further examined the role played by government, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and health professionals towards service delivery to CSWs. In order to understand the experiences of sex worker intersectionality and feminist standpoint theories were deployed. A case study approach involving Ngundu growth point in Masvingo was utilized. The choice of Ngundu emanated from the fact that it is located along the highway that connects South Africa with Zimbabwe, Zambia and Democratic Republic of Congo and as a result, it experiences varying prostitution encounters. Methodologically, the study followed a qualitative research path involving the use of open-ended interviews as data collection methods. A total of nine participants were interviewed that includes sex workers as well as the key informants. Data analysis was done using thematic analysis. The overall study finding was that prostitution at Ngundu is proliferating due to economic hardships where most people are unemployed and living in poverty. From the field interviews with those involved in the prostitution business, it emerged that the socioeconomic situation in the country is forcing women to be in the sex industry. The recommendation proffered is that is that the government should create employment opportunities for the people, open vocational training centres and there should be awareness campaigns targeting sex workers. / NRF
