This model and system will facilitate collaboration between enterprises and educational institutions while students will find where to have their internships and bachelor (master) works at industrial enterprises.

Perceptions of Collaborative Process in a Professional Learning Focused University-Community-School CollaborationPsimas, Lynnae L 11 May 2012 (has links)
The current study explored the collaborative processes present in a collaboration between an urban university in the Southeast United States, a state-funded educational support agency, and several urban and suburban school districts served by the state agency. To obtain a comprehensive understanding of the collaboration and relevant practices, perceptions were obtained from university, community agency, and K-12 school representatives through 12 individual and 2 group interviews. Data were collected and analyzed using Moustakas’s (1994) transcendental phenomenology methodology. Findings indicated that participants perceived collaborative processes in the areas of collaborative structure, communication practices, characteristics of collaborators and organizations, and group dynamics. Participants also described outcomes of the collaboration in the areas of general impact on professional learning participants, learning, evolution of behaviors and beliefs, relationship development, emotional impact, sustainability, and generalizability. Comparison of the current results to Hord’s (1986) model of inter-organizational collaboration and the literature on inter-organizational collaboration revealed strong support for a synthesis model of inter-organizational collaboration. Furthermore, the findings suggest implications for practice in the areas of goal alignment, communication, perceptions of collaborative involvement, system entry and assimilation, and personal characteristics.

The name of the study means “The short arm - a study in diversity and arm’s length in the cultural collaboration model”. Right now there is a reform in the Swedish cultural administration where the responsibility for handing out state funds and grants to cultural organizations is changing from the state government to the local regional governments. The purpose of this study is to map the organisational changes caused by the reform and investigate how this affects the regional policies concerning cultural diversity and the arm’s length principle. The study has found that the regional governments have mainly adapted existing structures to incorporate the necessary changes for the cultural collaboration model. The exception being the non government organizations that have made considerable changes to their organizations. While cultural diversity is still strong in the model arm’s length principle has been hollowed out. / Just nu pågår en stor reform inom kulturpolitiken där ansvaret för fördelningen av statens medel till kultur förflyttas från staten till regionerna och landstingen. Syftet med uppsatsen är att kartlägga den organisationsomvandling inom det kulturpolitiska fältet som sker på grund av reformen samt undersöka hur detta påverkar regionernas arbete med kulturell mångfald och armlängdsavstånd. Studien har funnit att inga större förändringar har skett i de regionala organisationerna, utan att de anpassat redan existerande organisationsstrukturer. Undantaget har varit intresseorganisationerna som gjort större förändringar i sina organisationer. Även om kulturell mångfald fortfarande är starkt i modellen har principen om armlängds avstånd blivit urholkad.

[pt] Nesta tese são investigadas ferramentas de suporte à
coordenação de fóruns de discussão de cursos a distância. A
pesquisa é fundamentada na aprendizagem colaborativa e do
Modelo 3C de Colaboração e utiliza a pesquisaação
como método de pesquisa. Num fórum realizado como uma
atividade colaborativa, a aprendizagem ocorre
principalmente através das trocas de mensagens entre os
aprendizes, o que demanda coordenação. A coordenação
nesta tese é entendida como um das 3 dimensões da
colaboração evidenciadas no Modelo 3C: comunicação,
coordenação e cooperação. Os resultados desta
tese, que incluem dados, análises, procedimentos, reflexões
e implementação dos serviços e funcionalidades
investigados, foram obtidos após 3 anos de uma pesquisa-
ação. Na pesquisa-ação, o pesquisador conduz a pesquisa
realizando ações sucessivas que busquem reduzir um problema
específico em um ambiente real. Nesta tese, o ambiente real
é o curso Tecnologias de Informação Aplicadas à Educação da
PUC-Rio e o problema identificado é a dificuldade de
coordenação dos fóruns do curso. A ação é a
disponibilização de ferramentas de suporte à coordenação no
AulaNet, o ambiente de ensino e aprendizagem para
web utilizado no curso. A característica comum das
ferramentas investigadas é a de disponibilizar informações
sobre o andamento do fórum sem que seja necessário fazer
uso da interface web para desktop do AulaNet: para isto,
grafos, gráficos, dados estatísticos e notificações são
apresentados através de PDAs, celulares e janelas pop-up no
desktop. A avaliação das ferramentas desenvolvidas é feita
a cada semestre: avaliando-se como aprendizes e mediadores
usam as ferramentas, melhorias ou novas ferramentas são
propostas e investigadas no semestre seguinte, num processo
cíclico. / [en] In this thesis tools for the coordination support of
discussion forums in a distance course are investigated.
The research is conducted from the point of
view of collaborative learning and the 3C Collaboration
Model and uses action research as a method. In a forum
carried out as a collaborative activity, learning
takes place mainly through the exchange of messages among
learners, which demands coordination. Coordination in this
thesis is understood as one of the 3 dimensions of
collaboration as made evident in the 3C Model:
communication, coordination and cooperation. The results of
this thesis, which include data, analyzes, procedures,
reflections and implementation of the services and
functionalities investigated, were obtained in the course
of 3 years of action research. In action research the
researcher performs successive actions aiming
at minimizing a specific problem in a real environment. In
this thesis, the real environment is the Information
Technologies Applied to Education course at
PUC-Rio and the problem identified is a difficulty in the
coordination of the course`s forums. The action is the
offering of support tools for coordination in the
AulaNet, the web-based education and learning environment
used in the course. The common characteristic of the tools
investigated is the offering of information on the progress
of the forum without the need to use the AulaNet`s desktop
web interface: with this objective, graphs, statistical
data and notifications are presented through PDAs, cell-
phone SMSs and pop-up windows in the desktop. An assessment
of the tools developed is carried out every semester:
through the evaluation of the use of the tools by learners
and mediators, improvements or new tools are proposed for
the following semester, in a cyclical process.

The aim of the research is, having evaluated attitude peculiarities of the participants of the research, revealed real collaboration practices and applied action research, to construct methodology and a model of collaboration, meeting special educational needs. The research has been carried out in accordance with the principle of triangulation, combining quality and quantity methods (questionnaire method, individual semi-structured interview, action research using the focus group method). The results of the research revealed that children, having special educational needs and their parents often appear in the situation of isolation in comprehensive schools. teachers’ communication among themselves is more often oriented to individual conversations, consultations, individual perfection, but not to team work and collegial solution of problems. Students often feel teachers’ negative attitudes towards them, ignorance, rejection. Structure and expressiveness of parents’ and teachers’ attitudes towards special education and collaboration has been identified. Considering the collaborative situation (on a country scale) and concrete institutional context (on a school scale), collaboration methodology has been suggested, the basis of which is action research with focus group method applied. Parents’ and specialists’ interactions are especially limited. It was stated that teachers’ communication among themselves is more often oriented to individual conversations, consultations, individual perfection, but not to team work and collegial solution of problems. Underefficient system of communication and information spread limits possible interactions, does not encourage complex interaction of all the participants of the process of education and common problem solution. colaboração é analisada a

maintain. Thus, its
code becomes unstructured and difficult to evolve. In this
thesis, a groupware
development approach based on components organized
according to the 3C
collaboration model is proposed. In this model,
collaboration is analyzed based on
communication, coordination and cooperation. Collaboration
necessities of the
group, analyzed based on the 3C model, are mapped to
software components, also
organized according to the model, in order to compose the
system. The proposed
approach is applied as a case study to the development of
the new version of the
AulaNet environment. The environment´s code currently
suffers the mentioned
problems. In order to instantiate the communication
services of the environment,
for the case study, 3C based component kits were
developed. The components
allow the composition, re-composition and customization of
the services in order
to reflect collaboration dynamics changes.

Previous issue date: 2015-09-21 / FACEPE / Há muito se estuda o uso de tecnologia da informação em apoio a diversas atividades nas organizações. Um eixo desses estudos convergiu, a partir da década de 1990, para o estudo de sistemas que suportassem o trabalho em grupo, inicialmente colocalizados e, mais recentemente, dispersos. Tais sistemas, nominados sistemas colaborativos, adquiriram maior robustez ao serem beneficiados com as funcionalidades mais sociais da web 2.0, permitindo a interação simultânea e à distância, ampliando as possibilidades de abordagens e arranjos de suas funções. Em outro ângulo, a tarefa de gerar ideias em grupo é algo que acontece no cotidiano desses coletivos e é essencial aumentar o desempenho das organizações perante o cenário dinâmico e competitivo do mercado. Nesta perspectiva, vislumbrou-se acoplar um sistema colaborativo a uma tarefa de geração de ideias expectando que tal dueto poderia facultar um melhor resultado naquela tarefa. Assim, a pesquisa objetivou apurar qual o efeito que a adoção de um sistema colaborativo provocaria na estruturação da tarefa de geração de ideias em grupos virtuais. Para embasar essa discussão, utilizaram-se as lentes de teorias estruturacionais e da atividade, além do modelo 3C de colaboração. Em seguida, para operacionalizar a pesquisa, realizou-se um quase-experimento, no qual funcionários de uma empresa do segmento farmacêutico foram instados a gerar ideias mediados por um sistema colaborativo especificado para a pesquisa, tendo sido aqueles observados sob parâmetros da quantidade e qualidade das ideias geradas e da satisfação com o processo e com o resultado. Os aspectos apurados confirmaram as expectativas iniciais, indicando que há potencial de sucesso, mas, por outro lado, fazem ver que os processos e rotinas bem definidos, a facilitação das atividades pelo sistema e os elementos constantes em encontros presenciais são componentes relevantes em tarefas grupais apoiadas pela TI, especialmente as de geração de ideias. / There has been a lot of studies using information technology as a support for several activities in organizations. In the 90´s decade, an axis of such studies converged for the teamwork’s support systems study, initially co-located and, more recently, dispersed, called collaborative systems. Empowered by the web 2.0 social functionalities, this system strengthens simultaneous and distance interaction, increasing the possibilities of its function as arrangements and approaches. In another perspective, the generating group ideas task is something that happens routinely in a group and it is frequently used to increase the organizational performance in this dynamic and competitive market scenario. From this perspective, there has been an idea of coupling a collaborative system to a task of idea generation expecting that such duet could generate better outcomes. Therefore, the research aims to verify what effects the adoption of a more socially profiled collaborative system would result in the structuring the idea generation tasks in dispersed groups. As a basis for this discussion, the structural and activity theories lenses were used, and also the 3C collaboration model. Then, to operationalize the research, a quasi-experiment was performed, where a pharmaceutical company employees were asked to generate ideas mediated by a collaborative system, developed especially for the research. During the quasi-experiment, it has been observed, using quantitative and qualitative techniques, the number and quality of the generated ideas, the satisfaction with the process and its results. The results confirmed the initial expectation, pointing out that this social and collaborative system type performs an important role in supporting idea generation tasks, moreover, the importance of well-defined processes and routines, the activities facilitation by the system and the elements experienced in face-to-face encounters must be considered as well.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka samverkan mellan socialtjänst, skola, polis och fritid vid förebyggande arbete mot ungdomskriminalitet. Studien utgår ifrån en kvalitativ forskningsmetod genom att semistrukturerade intervjuer genomförts med yrkesverksamma inom samverkansformen SSPF (socialtjänst, skola, polis, fritid) i en landsbygdskommun i Sverige. Materialet analyserades genom en tematisk analys och därigenom framkom fyra huvudteman: organisering av SSPF i en landsbygdskommun, professionellas erfarenheter av SSPF-samverkan, variationer i de professionellas uppfattningar om SSPF och verksamhetens utvecklingsmöjligheter. Resultatet av studien analyserades med hjälp av tidigare forskning kring ämnet och Horwath och Morrisons samverkansmodell. Utifrån intervjuerna framkommer det att landsbygdskommunen använder samverkansmodellen SSPF för att arbeta förebyggande mot ungdomar i riskzonen för kriminalitet och missbruk. Det belyses att en styrgrupp, arbetsgrupp och samordnare är centralt för organiseringen av SSPF-samverkan. Gynnsamma faktorer som framkommer för SSPF-samverkan är en samordnare, förmedling av samt förståelse för syfte och mål med SSPF och relevanta personer i SSPF-forumet. Förhindrande faktorer som framkommer för SSPF-samverkan är socialtjänstens lagstiftning och att det i SSPF-forumet i första hand lyfts ungdomar som är kända hos aktörer. / The aim of this study is to examine collaboration between social services, school, police, and leisure sector when working preventive against youth criminality. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with professionals within the collaboration-model SSPF in a Swedish rural municipality. The research questions were investigated by conducting a thematic analysis of the data. Four main themes emerged in the analysis: organization of SSPF in a rural municipality, professionals experiences of SSPF collaboration, variations in professionals’ perceptions of SSPF and the potentialities of the operations. The results of the study were analyzed using previous research around the subject and Horwath and Morrison’s collaboration model. The interviews demonstrated that the rural municipality uses the collaboration model SSPF to work preventively for young people at risk for crime and addiction. A steering group, working group and a co-ordinator appeared significant for the organization of SSPF collaboration. Favourable factors for the SSPF collaboration that appeared were a co-ordinator, communication and understanding of the purpose and goals of SSPF, and appropriate members in the SSPF forum. Preventive factors of the SSPF collaboration included the legislation of the social services and the principle that in SSPF it was mainly young people who were already known by the participants that were discussed.

Cyberbullying is a phenomenon that has negative impact on children’s and adolescents’ mental health and can be categorized as a potential mental health issue. Research suggests that school climate, the school’s unity and collaboration between school counsellors and personnel and the work with students and guardians is of importance in preventing and acting against cyberbullying. The aim of this study is to investigate how school counsellors on lower secondary schools describe their work with cyberbullying and how they speak about the collaboration with other professions within the school in their work against cyberbullying. The study’s theoretical frame is based on Danermark’s (2005) collaboration model and the collected material consists of seven semi-structured qualitative interviews with school counsellors which have been analysed thematically. The results suggest that school personnel and guardians need to create knowledge and competence about social media and cyberbullying as it is a comprehensive problem that is constantly evolving. The importance of relationships with students is addressed for a successful work against cyberbullying where pedagogical staff are often described as having better relationships with students, which means that the school counsellors’ collaboration with other school personnel becomes important for detecting and resolving cyberbullying. The results of the study show that the school counsellors shed light on several factors that affect the collaborative work and how it takes place. The school counsellors emphasize the importance of collegial relationships to develop a favourable collaboration. Furthermore, school counsellors describe that different views in a pedagogically dominated school world creates challenges and make the collaboration work more complex. The results also show that the school as an organization should be characterized by an open discussion about cyberbullying. / Nätmobbning är ett fenomen som har en negativ inverkan på barn och ungdomars mentala hälsa och kan kategoriseras som en potentiell psykisk hälsofråga. Forskning visar att skolmiljö, skolans sammanhållning och samverkan mellan skolkuratorer och skolpersonal samt arbetet med elever och vårdnadshavare är av betydelse för att förebygga och åtgärda nätmobbning. Studiens syfte är att undersöka hur skolkuratorer på högstadieskolor beskriver deras arbete kring nätmobbning i skolan samt hur de talar om samverkan mellan andra professioner inom skolan i deras arbete mot nätmobbning. Studien har en teoretisk utgångspunkt i Danermarks (2005) samverkansmodell och det insamlade materialet består av sju semistrukturerade kvalitativa intervjuer med skolkuratorer som har analyserats tematiskt. Studiens resultat synliggör att skolpersonal och vårdnadshavare behöver skapa kunskap och kompetens kring sociala medier och nätmobbningsproblematik då det är ett omfattade problem som ständigt utvecklas. Vikten av relationer till eleverna tas upp för ett lyckat arbete mot nätmobbning där pedagogisk personal ofta beskrivs ha godare relationer till eleverna vilket innebär att skolkuratorernas samverkan med annan skolpersonal blir betydelsefull för att upptäcka och åtgärda nätmobbning. I studiens resultat belyser skolkuratorerna flera faktorer hur samverkansarbetet mot nätmobbning påverkas och utspelar sig. Skolkuratorerna lyfter fram den kollegiala relationens betydelse för att utveckla en gynnsam samverkan. Vidare beskriver vissa skolkuratorer att skilda synsätt i en pedagogiskt dominerad skolvärld skapar utmaningar och gör samverkansarbetet mer komplext. Resultatet visar också att skolan som organisation bör präglas av en öppen diskussion kring nätmobbning.
