Cette thèse porte sur l’interculturalité et la traductologie, elle concerne des éléments linguistiques et culturels classiques dans une traduction du chinois en une langue indo-européenne occidentale, principalement le français. Comment traduire les éléments ayant une charge culturelle qui manquent d’équivalents dans la langue cible ? Transcription en pinyin ? Romanisation avec une explication ? L’adaptation aux lecteurs de la langue cible ou à ceux de la langue source ? Traduction libre ou fidèle ? Donc, je propose une synthèse de théories et méthodes qui nous aideront à bien traduire une oeuvre encyclopédique. On a choisi dans ce texte, la version française du Rêve dans le Pavillon rouge comme exemple, ce roman étant considéré comme une encyclopédie de la culture classique traditionnelle chinoise. On a analysé, sous l’angle de la théorie, " la traduction épaisse ", la méthodologie que les traducteurs avaient utilisée pour traduire les éléments culturels. Enfin, à l’aide de la théorie des " realia " et du " paratexte ", on a conclu sur trois catégories principales des éléments culturels avec plusieurs subdivisions et on a synthétisé deux méthodes essentielles de la traduction et les stratégies concrètes de la théorie " la traduction épaisse ", afin que cette nouvelle théorie soit prise pour référence quand on se lancera dans la traduction d’autres oeuvres littéraires en rapport avec la culture classique d’Orient. / This thesis is about the cross-cultural studies and transtology, it concerns linguistic and cultural elements in a translation from Chinese into a western indo-european language, mainly French. How to translate the Chinese elements with the cultural meaning that serve as lacuna in the target language? Transcription in pinyin? Romanisation with explanation ? Adaptation aimed to the readers of the target language or to the readers of the source language ? Free translation or faithful translation ? Several theories and methods which can help us to translate an encyclopedic are concluded in this thesis.A Dream of Red Mansions has always been regarded as the Encyclopedia of Chinese traditional culture. A Dream of Red Mansions in French is the center of the current study, which is grounded on the Thick Translation Theory, trying to explore the cultural phenomena showed in its French version. Based on all these, this article analyses how Li Tche-Houa and Jacqueline Alézaïs showed to French readers the classic Chinese culture in their translation of A Dream of Red Mansions. At last, in terms of the “Realia theory" and “Paratexte theory", the author classified the cultural phenomena into three categories, and each one has several subdivisions. Besides, two essentiel categories of the “Thick Translation theory" are concluded and specific methods to every part are proposed. This would make the “Thick Translation Theory" more easily to be applied by the translators of old scriptures for the spread of the Chinese classics.

Forskning pekar på att människors tillgång till natur är god med avseende på hälsa. Samtidigt växer städer och gör att naturnära upplevelser blir ett allt mer sällan inslag utav människors liv. Hur ska planerare se till att involvera människor i anpassningsprocesser kring parker och hur ser tillgängligheten i parker ut för fysiskt funktionsnedsatta? Denna studie syftar till att undersöka tillgängligheten för rullstolsburna i Uppsala stads parker samt hur kommunen arbetar med delaktighet vid tillgänglighetsanpassningar. Studiens metod består utav en observationsrunda samt intervjuer med kommun och lokalföreningsrepresentanter. Observationsrundan syftar till att undersöka tillgängligheten och utifrån intervjuerna studeras kommunens delaktighetsprocesser. Resultatet visar på att tillgången för rullstolsburna i Uppsala stads parker i ett helhetsperspektiv är god, även om den kan förbättras. Lyckade anpassningsarbeten för rullstolsburnas tillgång till parker bör ses som en kontinuerlig process där informationsväxling och dialoger är centralt. Vidare framkom det att kommunen arbetar på olika sätt och att varje anpassning kräver sin process.

I vår iver att hjälpa utvecklingsländer tror jag att vi eventuellt är med och på nytt skapar en maktposition gentemot utvecklingsländerna, en ny slags kolonisering. Kanske borde västvärlden ta ett steg tillbaka och först lära sig om andras kulturer och vara mer lyhörda inför vart och vilka behov som behövs, istället för att bara anta att de ska och vill bli en kopia av västerlandet. Syftet med uppsatsen är att utifrån en analys av tre självbiografiska verk få bredare kunskap om vilka former av påverkan som volontär- och biståndshjälp kan ha på mottagarländernas kultur samt att diskutera om volontär- och biståndshjälp indirekt upprätthåller västerlandets fortsatta globala maktposition    Min valda teori är postkolonialism med fokus på Saids Orientalism. Då postkolonialismen till viss del utgörs av språkliga maktstrukturer, har jag valt att utgå från metoden närläsning som går ut på att analysera språk och strukturer i litterära verk. Undersökningen visar att främst volontärhjälp påverkar mottagarländerna på ett negativt sätt och är med och bidrar till att bevara gamla koloniala strukturer. Biståndshjälpen är mer försiktig och påverkar inte i lika stor mån.

In ”Gå på feeling – att ta det osäkra före det osäkra” guitar player Simon Löfstedt investigates intuitive musical composition with the guitar in focus. Löfstedt describes his previous compositions as detailed and complex. In this project het akes a step away from this, letting himself being ruled by intuition when composing music. He achieves this by using simple, short fragments of music, playing these with a selected group of musicians. A thorough description of the process describes choosing musicians, rehearsals and listening to recordings of these rehearsals. Here Simon outlines the fragments growth from embryos to full compositions during/post rehearsals and how the other musicians affect the final outcome. He also describes setbacks during the process in form of doubt and inner conflict. Simon describes himself being determined in finding a way of mixing different types of guitar techniques and genres while still maintaining a focused artistic approach. He also describes his musical background, which mainly derives from rock’n’roll, and how this has a major influence on the final outcome. Löfstedt’s focus on guitar sound is constantly present and he presents a thorough description of guitars, effects and amplifiers. Here he explains the choices that he makes when putting together his final setup, which is customized for the final musical result. The following master’s thesis considers as its main objective to prove that corresponding socio- cultural processes manifest themselves differently in Hungarian and Norwegian artistic spheres respectively. This is a cross-cultural case study analysis, focusing specifically on a selection of sociological factors that might affect the identities of artists differently depending on social background and cultural heritage. Seeing as this is a qualitative investigation, an exploration of the working conditions and individual development of six Hungarian and six Norwegian artists assist the study. The thesis examines the cultural environments into which the assembled artists of the research are socialized, in order to map their varying artistic practices, careers and even personal lives. The comparative approach of the case studies is situated within the framework of art sociological and cultural political theories. Findings and implications of the study are likely to yield results that show not only generational differences and contrasting progression within the two cultural contexts separately, but will also expose similarities and dissimilarities in the cultural dynamics governing the two art worlds in question.

Le renouvellement des formes de participation des structures culturelles et territoriales pose la question du positionnement des acteurs de la participation dans la mise en place de dispositifs participatifs. L'analyse des dispositifs participatifs montre en quoi ces derniers inscrivent la participation dans une mise en scène de la participation sur le territoire. Des évolutions sont relatives à la « figure » du participant et à sa « parole » potentielle dans les structures et soulèvent des contradictions entre des logiques d'audience et de production, et une volonté d'intégrer des formes plus « sensibles ». En effet, des injonctions à la « créativité » apparaissent avec la mise en place de parcours dans la ville avec les participants, d'ateliers d'écriture pour scénariser les usages du territoire et de restitutions sur scène des expériences de participation, nécessitant de la part des participants un engagement corporel et scénique. Des collaborations avec le monde de l'entreprise et la recherche scientifique conduisent à une complexification des langages de la participation et des techniques empruntant à la fois à l'animation théâtrale et à l'entreprise, du management de la « créativité ». Face à ces conditions, les participants manifestent leur volonté de contrôler leur image et de s'emparer des dispositifs pour communiquer leur propre « sens » de la participation. Autant de conditions s'inscrivent dans des modes d'engagement qui interviennent dans une situation d'épreuve de la confiance envers les structures. La réflexion sur les conditions de mise en scène des dispositifs participatifs, les modes d'engagement des participants, leur scénarisation et leur dramatisation de la participation en lien avec les acteurs de la participations, politiques et administratifs, ainsi que sur les spécificités des stratégies de mise en visibilité de l'activité de participant, permettent de poursuivre l'analyse de l'espace dramaturgique de la participation et de ses enjeux politiques. / The cultural and local institutions are trying to renew the public debates forms. The participatory devices components are getting immersive and multimodal, making the participants physically and bodily involved. However, some factors as « sociability » and « creativity », which are increasingly introduced in the participatory devices, would change the participant stratus into audience status. We analyzed strategies used by the participation's actors to set up the participatory devices and make the participant as « co-producer ». We analyzed the participants appropriation. The participant's body engagement gives a visual image of his activity : it makes it observable for the institution. Therefore, the body's image is taking importance in the aesthetic experience of public debate as reaching a social network experience. The network experience would redefine the expressiveness and the articulation between individual identity and « community ». In order to analyse the communication issues it raises, we focused on differents process of the participatory devices : the exhibition's participant, the narrative construction of the engagements and the scenarisation of the participation.
