Impacto do ISE no valor de empresa obtido pelo modelo Ohlson

One can justify this fact by increasing the demand for that type of investment. The Sustainability indexes as the ISE - Corporate Sustainability Index or DJSI - Dow Jones Sustainability Index propagate the idea that these companies that include in their business strategy, social, environmental and financial actions are better prepared for future challenges. The objective of this dissertation was to investigate whether the presence or the passage of the ISE companies can influence its value in the long run. The sample was formed by 646 firms listed on BM&FBOVESPA, obeying its classifications of economic sectors; the period considered was from 1999 to 2009, in a data panel regression. The Ohlson model (1995) was chosen for valuation of companies, because it??s a model that uses accounting variables such as book value and earnings to account for company value. The Ohlson model (1995) was validated in the statistical test, so it can explain the value of the firm for BM&FBOVESPA companies during the study period. The relationship between participating in the ISE and the company value was not statistically significant in this period. This result is contrary to the message conveyed by BM&FBOVESPA that in the long run, companies that practice Sustainability actions will generate greater value to investors. / Diversas bolsas de valores (BM&FBOVESPA, Bolsa de Nova York, Bolsa de Londres, entre outras) est??o ampliando suas ofertas de investimentos socialmente respons??veis. Pode-se justificar tal fato pelo aumento da procura desse tipo de investimento. Os ??ndices de sustentabilidade empresarial como o ISE - ??ndice de sustentabilidade empresarial ou DJSI - Dow Jones Sustainability Index propagam a id??ia de que essas empresas, que incluem na sua estrat??gia de neg??cio, a????es sociais, ambientais e financeiras, est??o melhor preparadas para os desafios futuros. O objetivo desta disserta????o foi investigar se a perman??ncia ou a passagem das empresas pelo ISE conseguem influenciar seu valor de empresa a longo prazo. A amostra foi formada pelas 646 empresas listadas na BM&FBOVESPA, obedecendo suas classifica????es dos setores econ??micos da Econom??tica; o per??odo considerado foi de 1999 a 2009; foi usada a t??cnica estat??stica de regress??o com dados em painel. Foi escolhido o modelo Ohlson (1995) para avalia????o das empresas, por ser um modelo que utiliza vari??veis cont??beis como o patrim??nio l??quido e os lucros para explicar valor de empresa. O modelo Ohlson (1995) foi validado no teste estat??stico, isto ??, ele consegue explicar o valor de empresa das empresas da BM&FBOVESPA no per??odo pesquisado. Social Innovation is a way of equalizing social problems, as it is considered an option for market failures, the State and society. Thus, Social Innovation presents itself as a possible and necessary alternative for the solution of the problems related to Sustainable Development, especially education. This research aims, from the perspective of the Innovation Capability, to study the capabilities of Social Innovation in Associations, Business Foundations and Social Business that work in the area of education in the Southeast of Brazil. In this study, the Social Innovation Capability is analyzed from five factors: Facilitating Leadership; Intention to Innovate Socially; Democratic Management; Co-creation of Social Innovation and; Open Social Innovation. Therefore, this study adopts the methodology of descriptive nature. For the data collection, online questionnaires were sent to a selection of organizations belonging to the three types of organizations studied (Associations, Business Foundations and Social Business) that work in the area of education in Southeast Brazil. The answers of the eight organizations, each with three respondents were analyzed from the literature. The research sample is made up of three Associations, two Business Foundations and three Social Business, which are active in the area of education in Southeastern Brazil. The results indicate that Associations, Business Foundations and Social Affairs agree on the importance of the factors Democratic Management and Open Social Innovation for Social Innovation. However, the Co-creation factor for Social Innovation presented low agreement for Social Innovation. In organizations with an economic purpose, the factors of Social Innovation Capability are more expressive when compared with organizations with social purpose. / A capacidade de criar alternativas para os problemas sociais de forma sustent?vel pode ser entendida como Inova??o Social. A Inova??o Social ? uma forma de equalizar problemas sociais, ao ser considerada uma op??o para falhas de mercado, do Estado e da sociedade. Assim, a Inova??o Social se apresenta como uma alternativa poss?vel e necess?ria para a solu??o dos problemas relacionados ao Desenvolvimento Sustent?vel, em especial a educa??o. Adding to this, studies were performed jointly by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and by the National Institute for Colonization and Agrarian Reform (Incra) aiming at the making of a program that would benefit the family farming segment. The National Programme for the Strengthening of the Family Farming (Pronaf) presented itself as the first public policy nationally consolidated with such purpose. As a public politic in the making, one of its credit line, the one for infrastructure and services, does alter its range, going from municipal to territorial, entitled as National Programme for Sustainable Development of Rural Territories (Proinf). This range expansion has as one of its axioms the participation of the family farmers in the decisions processes. To better verify this change, it was elected the study of the case of the Capara? Territory in the state of Esp?rito Santo, where there had been conflict and attempt to the social concertation, above all the family farmers who were not previously Proinf participants. / N?o obstante os direitos para os agricultores familiares inseridos na Constitui??o Federal de 1988, o que propiciou a formula??o de uma pol?tica p?blica destinada para esse segmento foi tamb?m a reivindica??o da sociedade civil, por meio de movimentos sindicais de trabalhadores, pequenos produtores rurais, reunindo a Confedera??o Nacional dos Trabalhadores na Agricultura (Contag), entre outros movimentos sociais. Ademais, estudos foram realizados conjuntamente pela Organiza??o das Na??es Unidas para a Agricultura e a Alimenta??o (FAO) e pelo Instituto Nacional de Coloniza??o e Reforma Agr?ria (Incra) visando ? elabora??o de um programa que beneficiasse o segmento da agricultura familiar. O Programa Nacional de Fortalecimento da Agricultura Familiar (Pronaf) se apresenta como a primeira pol?tica p?blica consolidada nacionalmente, com esse prop?sito. Afterwards, the average of accumulated abnormal returns were tested to verify if it is significantly different to zero. The focal point was the event date (0,0) and, from this date on, it was evaluated the windows (-22,0), (-15,0), (-10,0),(-5,0), (-4,0), (-3,0), (-2,0), (-1,0), (0,0), (0,+1), (0,+2), (0,+3), (0,+4), (0,+5), (0,+10), (0,+15) and (0,+22). Supposing the connection between the companies members to ISE, a more expressive impact due to the own guidelines and requirements to the rate???s insertion, an event survey was made aiming to verify the presence of statistically significant abnormal returns around and in the news??? announcement date. The results of the analysis indicate the existence of an expressive negative abnormal return before the event, and non-significant abnormal return after the event and absence of abnormal returns around the event, proposing effect previous to the dated of announcement, which suggests privileged or considered information. / O objetivo do presente estudo, ?? verificar se not??cias p??blicas, positivas e negativas relacionadas ao tema sustentabilidade, divulgadas por meio de an??ncios, no per??odo de 01.01.2010 a 30.06.2016 no ve??culo de comunica????o Jornal Valor Econ??mico, apresentaram mais impacto negativo ou positivo para empresas pertencentes ao ??ndice de Sustentabilidade Empresarial (ISE) ou n??o componentes ao ??ndice de Sustentabilidade (N??o ISE). No total, 66 empresas foram analisadas, tomando como base o modelo de mercado (market model). Posteriormente, a m??dia dos retornos anormais acumulados foi testada para verificar se ?? significativamente diferente de zero. This place is one of the main recreation and leisure areas of the city, formed by six kilometres of waterfront, corresponding to a differentiated area through the coast. This space has beach huts with varied profiles: while some more simple huts persist, great complexes are being developed, building even water parks on the beach area. This study analyses relations between:i) spatial configuration (in geometric and mainly topological terms) based on the Social Logic of Space; ii) edified typology (analysing capacity, landscap treatment and program of the huts); and iii) use and environmental perception of the beach by its frequenters. There are consistent relations between the type of hut and their localization in the urban grid, of which were identified groups with different patterns: segregated (north, central and south) and integrated (north: more integrated. and south: less integrated). Such relations also reflect, in varied patterns of use and environmental perception. In spite of their strong economy, the beach huts find themselves in a fragile legal situation because they occupy the beach area, so that this study may come to assist the decision-making for the future of the region. For a sustainable development of the area by those responsible and managers it is necessary to evaluate the cultural importance of the huts at Praia do Futuro, understanding their occupation and uses. / O objetivo dessa disserta??o ? analisar a import?ncia das barracas da Praia do Futuro para os usu?rios e para a cidade de Fortaleza no Cear? por meio da compreens?o de rela??es entre categorias morfol?gicas no contexto urbano e edil?cio dos estabelecimentos e seus padr?es de uso. O local ? uma das principais ?reas de recrea??o e lazer da cidade, formado por seis quil?metros de orla, que corresponde a uma ?rea especializada ao longo da costa. Neste espa?o existem barracas de praia com perfis variados: enquanto algumas mais simples persistem, grandes complexos v?o se desenvolvendo, chegando a construir parques aqu?ticos em faixa de praia. O estudo entende rela??es entre: i) configura??o do espa?o (em termos geom?tricos e, principalmente topol?gicos) analisado com base na L?gica Social do Espa?o; ii) tipologia edil?cia (an?lise de porte, tratamento paisag?stico e programa das barracas); e iii) uso e percep??o ambiental da praia por seus frequentadores. Demonstrating the relevance of municipal districts and the local communities, during the definitions of new development standards compromised to the transformation of the society, socia1ly and environmentally well-balanced world, it was also agreed on that places under the responsibilities of the municipal districts would promote their own local Agenda 21. We need to point out though that the government has the prerogative and the responsibly of facilitating the population participation process in the construction of national and local Agenda. This made it possible again, to plan the scheming process directly towards the insertion of population participation at the different levels, involving the entire local sectors while establishing a new local partnership through the local municipal government. Thus, we decide to verify the participation of the population in the construction of their local Agenda 21, choosing for the study case Parnamirim municipality from RN. The question which originated the objectives and analysis was formulated on the following terms: Up to which stage was the process of population participation effective in the elaboration of Parnamirims's local Agenda 21? Based on this uneasiness, it was defined as the general objective, the verification of population participation process during the elaboration of Parnamirims's local Agenda 21, aiming at its effectiveness as well as specific objectives; to identify the population representivity, the construction of the local AG 21 in order to identify on which level is the participation based, to verify the strategies used in order to promote the process participation, to identify the motives guiding those involved in the construction of the local Agenda 21. The superation of this first step by the reader will lead to an important perception of the title: that the situation requires, urgently, a defined posture, a complete conduct change and, therefore, a modification of the paradigms currently establisheds. To brake barriers, modifying what is lived by, is the ultimate goal. For that, there is no unique path, linear, but there were broached the development themes, the hidrical resources theme and oil and natural gas industry at the necessary points to achieve, by the end, a comprehension for the Brazilian Federal Republic goals in the search for the application of these juridical norms. The ones whom lay down over this study shall notice that, more than a simple approach over these themes (which are still less worked and searched in Brazil), the heavy critic of an instituted and pacifically accepted reality, directly offensive of the constitutional principles. The debate evolves from punctual and specific aspects, it gains life, flies, searching how the juridical order equalizes the economic model to the environment defense. Standing by the possibility of conciliation among constitutional principles, the remodeling of an economic segment is defended, aligning it to the sustainable limits. The awareness in combining it still describes a Selective Collection Program SCP of solid waste, in partnership with the municipal public power, in the development of joint actions that result in better alternatives of waste management in the urban centers, providing better life quality for the population and conservation of the environment. The aim of this research is to study problematic of the management of solid waste under the point of view of the environmental awareness and the participation of the population in a city of Brazil. In this matter, the target of the work is focusing on the strategy of solid waste management, through the attitudes and the respondents behaviors to aid in the making decision of the public manager related to the implantation of a selective collection program in Natal/RN. The methodology used in this work constitutes in the application of a questionnaire with scales of the type Likert being constituted of variables that compose the aspects of attitudes and of behaviors, besides a social-demographic scale. For analysis statistics is used the Pearson s Chi-Square Method in order to verify the dependence of the associations between the social-demographic variables and the attitude and the behavior ones. The results appear for a larger participation in a SCP, since this provides a better quality of life of the population (28,3 %), followed for offering a financial advantage (27,3%). Other results indicate the existence of the variables that exercise influence on the environmental awareness of the population to its demographic aspects / O presente estudo insere-se na tem?tica ambiental internacional, abordando a gest?o integrada de res?duos s?lidos e a participa??o dos atores sociais na busca do desenvolvimento sustent?vel atrav?s de sua conscientiza??o ambiental. Descreve ainda a conscientiza??o em integrar-se a um Programa de Coleta Seletiva PCS de res?duos s?lidos em parceria com o poder p?blico municipal, no desenvolvimento de a??es conjuntas que resultem em melhores alternativas de gest?o para os res?duos nos centros urbanos, proporcionando melhor qualidade de vida para a popula??o e preserva??o do meio ambiente. O objetivo desta pesquisa ? estudar a problem?tica da gest?o de res?duos s?lidos sob o ponto de vista da conscientiza??o e participa??o ambiental da popula??o em uma cidade do Brasil. Desta forma, o escopo do trabalho versa sobre a estrat?gia de gest?o de res?duos s?lidos, atrav?s das atitudes e comportamentos dos entrevistados para auxiliar na tomada de decis?o do gestor p?blico quanto ? implanta??o de um programa de coleta seletiva em Natal/RN. A metodologia empregada neste trabalho constitui na aplica??o de um question?rio com escalas do tipo Likert constituindo-se de vari?veis que comp?em os aspectos atitudinais e comportamentais, al?m de uma escala s?cio-demogr?fica. Foi utilizado na an?lise estat?stica o m?todo Chi-Square de Pearson de modo a verificar a depend?ncia das associa??es entre as vari?veis s?cio-demogr?ficas e as vari?veis atitudinais e comportamentais. River watershed, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. It has an emphasis on the amount of surface water available in this region, to provide a sustainable water supply. Based on data and information collected from public departments responsible for the management of the water resources of the Rio Grande do Norte state, well as on researches related to water resources , a watershed balance was done, and the results suggested the transposition of the waters from the Piranhas-A?u river watershed taken from the Oiticica and Armando Ribeiro Gon?alves reservoirs, integrated with the construction of 2 hidroelectrical plants and 2 elevation stations, to pump the amount of water needed to the expected demand in some public dams of the region until 2020. So, with the use of the surface water potential that exists in the region, it was demonstrated that, on the contrary of the public policies implemented in the past and in the current by the federal and state realm, it is possible to supply the currently water demands and also the future ones, in a sustainable way, without the need of importing outter water to the respective watershed. Finally, it was proposed the implementation of the Water Resources Plan in the Serid? region WRPS, aiming at providing an auto-sustainable development by significantly diminishing the effects of the dry seasons in that region, by considering the economic, social and environmental sustainability / O presente trabalho tem o prop?sito de planejar a utiliza??o e o manejo necess?rio dos recursos h?dricos da bacia do rio Serid?, no Estado do Rio Grande do Norte, com ?nfase na quantidade de ?gua superficial dispon?vel na regi?o, para abastecimento humano priorit?rio, de forma sustent?vel. Com base nos dados e informa??es coletadas junto aos ?rg?os p?blicos respons?veis pela gest?o dos recursos h?dricos no Estado do Rio Grande do Norte, bem como em outros trabalhos relacionados ? linha de pesquisa recursos h?dricos , foi efetuado o balan?o h?drico da bacia em estudo, cujo resultado sugeriu a transposi??o de ?guas da bacia do rio Piranhas-A?u, atrav?s da capta??o nas Barragens Oiticica e Eng? Armando Ribeiro Gon?alves, de modo integrado ? constru??o de 02 (duas) centrais hidrel?tricas e 02 (duas) esta??es elevat?rias, para bombear a ?gua necess?ria ? demanda prevista para o horizonte do ano 2020, para alguns a?udes p?blicos mais importantes da regi?o. Proofs of this are increasing initiatives in civil society organizations, private institutions and government actions, either local, state or national actions to promote environmental protection. The goal of this research is to contribute to the formation of citizens more aware of their responsibilities to sustainable development issues, simultaneously to their learning of physics in the secondary school. Thus, we have designed a research project that aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the adoption of the concept of sustainable development as a central theme in physics classes in high school. From this goal, we designed, implemented and evaluate lesson plans that aim not only to construct and apply the concept of energy, but also to understand their transformations and conservation law, as well as their processes of production, distribution and consume in the context of physical laws in which it is involved. Then, it was deliberately provided to students, during classes, to read, interpret and produce texts, by this way being able to think and start to have a critical view of the world around him, as well as absorb the energy concept and understand his occurrence in phenomena of nature and in technologies. The approach used for this was that constraining science, technology, society and environment - STSE. This teaching methodology has been applied in the IFRN Ipangua?u campus, for students of two classes of first year of high school integrated course in agroecology and in technical computing. The survey results show the effectiveness of both methods with respect to the viewpoints of students in relation to the guidelines of sustainable development and the learning of physics content proposed. It is hoped with this dissertation to contribute to the formation of future men and women as citizens environmentally friendly, but also as a source of inspiration for teachers who wish to foster in its students such a critical position about civic education, from their classes / Nas ?ltimas d?cadas a humanidade vem se preocupando cada vez mais com os problemas ambientais. Prova disso s?o as iniciativas cada vez mais frequentes da sociedade civil organizada, das institui??es privadas e tamb?m do governo, seja ele municipal, estadual ou federal, em promover a??es em defesa do meio ambiente. O objetivo desta pesquisa ? contribuir para a forma??o de cidad?os mais criticamente conscientes de suas responsabilidades frente ?s quest?es do desenvolvimento sustent?vel, simultaneamente ? sua aprendizagem de f?sica no ensino m?dio. Dessa maneira, foi elaborado um projeto de pesquisa que tem o objetivo de avaliar a efic?cia da ado??o do conceito de desenvolvimento sustent?vel como eixo tem?tico nas aulas de f?sica no ensino m?dio. Da?, foram elaborados, implementados e avaliados planos de aulas que buscam n?o apenas construir e aplicar o conceito de energia, mas tamb?m compreender suas transforma??es e lei de conserva??o, bem como seus processos de produ??o, distribui??o e consumo no contexto das leis f?sicas em que est? envolvido. Essa metodologia de ensino foi aplicada no C?mpus Ipangua?u do IFRN, aos alunos de uma turma da primeira s?rie do ensino m?dio de cada um dos seguintes cursos t?cnicos integrados: t?cnico em agroecologia e t?cnico em inform?tica. Os resultados da pesquisa mostram a efic?cia da metodologia tanto no que diz respeito aos posicionamentos dos alunos frente ?s diretrizes do desenvolvimento sustent?vel, quanto ao aprendizado dos conte?dos de f?sica tratados.
