Expanding KTH's Canvas ecosystem to support additional automated services : Automating the injection of theses and their metadata into a digital archive / Utöka KTHs Canvas-ekosystem för att stödja ytterligare automatiserade tjänster : Automatisera injektionen av avhandlingar och deras metadata i ett digitalt arkiv

Fallahian, Shayan, Zioris, Konstantinos January 2020 (has links)
Whenever a student submits their final version of their thesis, a series of processes is triggered to finalize and archive the report. These processes are often handled in a less than efficient way which results in excessive manual labor and costs that can be prevent if automated. This report describes a solution that automates the series of processes that occur following a final thesis report submission. By utilizing the available information in a Canvas course and the content in the submitted thesis much of the manual cut-and-paste effort is avoided. Entering this data into DiVA is done by automated interaction via a browser, as DiVA does not have an application programming interface that could be used. The conclusion is that it is possible to automate this process through a headless browser. However, the automated parsing of the PDF version of the thesis proven to be inconsistent which results in the extracted data being inconsistent. With some improvements to the parsing module, the entire process could be fully automated.

Molnbaserade e-handelsplattformar inklusive headless-plattformar : En deskriptiv studie om lämpliga marknadssegment / Cloudbased e-commerce platforms including headless-platforms : A descriptive research for suitable market segments

Wernersson, Sofia January 2018 (has links)

Why go headless – a comperative study between traditional CMS and the emerging headless trend

Öfverstedt, Linn January 2018 (has links)
There has been an exponential increase in the number of websites, digital channels and consequently digital content in the last years. Not only are the number of websites increasing but they are also becoming more complex, therefore it is no longer feasible to handle content and code with the same tools. Content Management Systems (CMS) are the solution to this problem and offers a way of managing content. The market today offers a broad variety of solutions that each have their own advantages, one of the more common being WYSWYG-functionality which often means that the functionality and the presentation of the content are tightly coupled. "Headless" CMS are a new way of doing things and offers the user a way of managing content without presenting them with a way of displaying the content. The different types of CMS present advantages and disadvantages from a user centred point of view as well as from a technical one. The thesis aims to explore these perspectives and form a hypothesis based on the studied cases. The study presents a set of aspects that based on the context in which the CMS is used and implemented can be perceived as either advantages or disadvantages. "Headless" CMS however shows a tendency to be the preferable choice where the editors have a technical background and the developing part values an agnostic approach when implementing a CMS, whereas a traditional CMS with WYSIWYG functionality tends to be more favourable where stability and editorial freedom are valued.

Arkitektur för ett headless CMS

Tran, Kate January 2021 (has links)
This report is about creating an architecture för a publication chain that is utilizing a headless CMS. The architecture should be based on modern technologies and methods that fulfills the demands that startups have on their web applications: it should be fast, scalable and secure. It should also be generic enough to be used for different web sites.

Genetic analysis of genes found on the 4th chromosome of Drosophila - emphasizing the developmental context of Pax6

Kronhamn, Jesper January 2004 (has links)
The small size and the lack of recombination set the fourth chromosome of Drosophila melanogaster apart from the other chromosomes. I have shown that the Minute gene on chromosome 4, earlier named Minute-4, encodes the ribosomal protein RpS3A. Two Pax6 genes, eyeless (ey) and twin of eyeless (toy) are also located on chromosome 4. Pax6 genes are important in head and eye development in both mammals and Drosophila. I have focused much of the study on ey and toy. The first mutant of toy that was characterized showed a headless phenotype. This indicates that Toy is important for the development of both the eye and antennal discs. The phenotype of the null mutation in toy is temperature sensitive due to that transcription of ey is temperature dependent in the eye-antennal primordium in absence of Toy. This temperature dependence was used to find out that the phenocritical period for ey in the adult head development is during embryonic stage 12-16 when ey first is expressed in the eye-antennal primordium. I also conclude that ey is activated by Toy in the eye-antennal primordium. The strong eyD mutation was molecularly characterized and it was finally settled that it is an allele in the ey locus. I also show that eyD homozygotes have a headless phenotype, much stronger than the earlier ey mutations.

Discovery and Analysis of Social Media Data : How businesses can create customized filters to more effectively use public data / Upptäckt och Utvärdering av Data från Sociala Medier : Hur företag kan skapa egna filter för att bättre nyttja publik data

Wöldern, Lars January 2018 (has links)
The availability of prospective customer information present on social media platforms has led to many marketing and customer-facing departments utilizing social media data in processes such as demographics research, and sales and campaign planning. However, if your business needs require further filtration of data, beyond what is provided by existing filters, the volume and rate at which data can be manually sifted, is constrained by the speed and accuracy of employees, and their digital competency. The repetitive nature of filtration work, lends itself to automation, that ultimately has the potential to alleviate large productivity bottlenecks, enabling organizations to distill larger volumes of unfiltered data, faster and with greater precision. This project employs automation and artificial intelligence, to filter Linkedin profiles using customized selection criteria, beyond what is currently available, such as nationality and age. By introducing the ability to produce tailored indices of social media data, automated filtration offers organizations the opportunity to better utilize rich prospective data for more efficient customer review and targeting.

Kodkvällar hos Knowit : En Headless CMS och React applikation

Ejelöv, Jessica January 2023 (has links)
The purpose of the project is to create a website where Knowit Experience can present and invite people to their coding events. The work has been carried out by a larger team including project managers, UX designers, supervisors, and an Agile approach has been used. A Headless CMS called Hygraph has been used to create a structure that editors can easily use, and this CMS includes a GraphQL API that the website consumes. The website is created in React with TypeScript to create a secure typed application styled with Sass. The website handles registrations for newsletters and different event lists from users and displays the content of the editors. Several different user flows on the website have been automated using Pipedream to make it easier for editors, including automatic confirmation emails sent to those who register, and editors can easily send emails to specific mailing lists. Structure is also created in the CMS to allow editors to create dynamic forms to collect opinions and information from visitors at an event. The website has been developed with accessibility in mind and has been tested on different browsers and devices. The website is continuously tested for accessibility and correctly validated code throughout the work. The work results in a fully functional website with all intended features.

The morpho-semantics of compound words in Sepedi

Maboa, Rachel Mmapitso January 2022 (has links)
Thesis (M.A. (Translation Studies and Linguistics)) -- University of Limpopo, 2022 / The prime goal of this study is to explore, form and analyse the semantic content of compound words in Sepedi. The study used the qualitative method. Data were collected using participant observations from various written sources and it was analysed through Content Analysis. The Theory of Construction Morphology was tested on endocentric, exocentric, and copulative compound words to locate the headedness of Sepedi compound words. The study revealed that the head of compound words can be located on the nominal prefix, left-hand side, right-hand side, on both nominal prefixes and it can be determined outside of the compound word for metaphoric exocentric nominal compounds. Furthermore, because of the role noun class prefixes play on determining the head of compound words, the study found that Sepedi compound words are nominals. The formation of Sepedi compound words involves the combination of different word aspects such as objects concords, deverbatives, verbal roots, stems, suffixal endings, and lexical categories such as nouns, Adjectives, and verbs. The resultant compound word of these combinations always results in a compound noun. It was recommended that future researchers should investigate the semantic content of exocentric compound words in African languages, especially the Sepedi language. The study further highlighted that there is still a need for a study that looks at the influences of nominal prefixes on the headedness of compound words in Sepedi. Furthermore, the study recommended that to alleviate the gap of shortage of literature in Sepedi, future studies should focus on word formation processes in Sepedi. / Feenix Crowdfunding and C Track Fleet Management Solutions Pty Ltd
