Esta dissertação se propõe a estudar o tema do duplo a partir da produção fílmica de Hanns Heinz Ewers, O estudante de Praga, e o conto de Mário de Sá-Carneiro, A confissão de Lúcio, ambos de 1913. Asduas narrativas se organizam em torno de um triângulo amoroso e compartilham o mesmo destino trágico. Tomando como suporte, inicial, de leitura os textos de Freud e Rank, de 1914, Sobre o narcisismo: uma introdução e O duplo, respectivamente, o artigo de Lacan, O estádio do espelho como formador da função do eu (1949) e seu seminário sobre a angústia, pretende-se estabelecer um diálogo entre literatura e psicanálise, considerando a questão do desdobramento do eu e suas variantes, a cisão do eu em múltiplos eus e o desaparecimento da imagem. A imagem no espelho, a princípio fonte de júbilo, escamoteia um drama: o drama de um sujeito que se constitui a partir de uma ficção / This dissertation proposes to study the theme of the double from the filmic production by author Hanns Heinz Ewers called The student of Prague, as well as Mário de Sá-Carneiros tale named Lúcios confession. Ewers and Sá-Carneiros works are both from 1913. These narratives are organized around a love triangle and share the same tragic fate. Taking as a starting-readable texts by authors Freud and Rank in 1914, called On narcissism: an introduction and The double respectively, Lacan s article, The Mirror Stage as formative of the function of the I (1949) and his seminar on anxiety, thus we intend to establish a dialogue between literature and psychoanalysis, considering the issue of deployment of the self and its variants, ego splitting into multiple selves and the disappearance of the image. Jusqu'à présent, il est supposé que le roman d'adolescent (Adoleszensroman) est un genre qui traite de la formation de l'identité des jeunes au cours de leur adolescence. La présente thèse propose de définir plus précisément le roman d'adolescent en fonction de deux nouvelles caractéristiques: celle du «sort de l'initiative» (Schicksal der Initiative) et celle du «jugement historique» (historisches Urteil). A ces caractéristiques du roman d'adolescent se juxtapose en outre le thème de la formation identitaire. L'étude se concentre sur les romans publiés dans le monde germanophone depuis les années 90. La thèse adopte une approche historique (literarhistorisch) et herméneutique. La théorie sociologique du genre littéraire contribue à expliquer le tournant et la conjoncture historique des catégories littéraires. L'étude tente d'expliquer que le récit du «travail sur l'identité» par un jeune adolescent est un thème auquel un deuxième s'oppose, à savoir que l'adolescent devient conscient de son «initiation» dans le cadre de sa recherche identitaire et confronte ses plus ou moins «naïves» attentes avec la réalité historique d'une société. Le corpus de romans étudié forme le genre du roman d'adolescent (Adoleszensroman) qui se laisse définir comme le «roman d'adolescent du réalisme post-moderne». Il s'inscrit dans un contexte littéraire et historique dominant à partir de 1995 l'espace germanophone, mais aussi anglophone, et relève d'une certaine «sobriété» (Nüchternheit) morale et politique. / Until now, it is assumed that the novel of adolescence (Adoleszensroman) is a genre that deals with the formation of identity during adolescence. This thesis proposes a more precise definition for the novel of adolescence based on two new features: the "fate of the initiative" (Schicksal der Initiative) and the "historical judgment" (historisches Urteil). These two characteristics of the novel of adolescence are complemented by the already known characteristic of the narration of formation of adolescent identity. The study focuses on novels published in Germany and Austria since the 90s. The thesis adopts a hermeneutic and historical approach (hermeneutisch und literarhistorisch). Sociological theory of literary forms helps to explain the change and the historical conditions of literary genres. The study attempts to explain that the narration of the adolescent "formation of identity" in the novel of adolescence is a theme which complements a second theme: the adolescent takes the "initiative" within the context of his search for identity and confronts his more or less "naive" expectationswith the historical reality of a society. The corpus of novels studied within the thesis form a genre of novels of adolescence (Adoleszensroman-Genre) which can be defined as "novels of adolescence of postmodern realism". It is part of the dominant literary and historical atmosphere which began ca. 1995 and can be characterized by a certain moral and political "sobriety" (Nüchternheit).

Cette thèse étudie d'un point de vue historique la genèse de la cohomologie des groupes, théorie qui vit le jour dans les années 1940. Il s'agit d'une théorie à la fois algébrique, au sens où elle donne des résultats sur les groupes, et topologique par les méthodes qu'elle met en œuvre . Le présent travail analyse les mécanismes par lesquels la topologie et l'algèbre se sont interpénétrées pour donner naissance à cette théorie abstraite et élaborée, en mettant notamment en perspective ce phénomène par rapport à ceux, plus globaux, de la naissance et de l'expansion de l'algèbre moderne. Y sont notamment discutées l'influence d'Emmy Noether dans l'algébrisation de la topologie et les motivations respectives de Heinz Hopf et d'Eilenberg & Mac Lane les ayant menés à l'élaboration de l'homologie des groupes. L'analyse minutieuse de plusieurs articles phares - dus aux auteurs cités précédemment mais aussi à Schur, Vietoris ou encore Eckmann - permet de mettre en lumière le fait que la volonté de répondre à des problèmes mathématiques précis fut peut-être plus motrice, dans l'émergence de cette théorie architectonique qu'est la cohomologie des groupes, que de grandes idées directrices conçues au sein de représentations structurales des mathématiques.

The 1969 Summit within the Japan-US security treaty system : a two-level approach

This thesis reviews the significance of the 1969 Japan-US Summit between Prime Minister Satii Eisaku and President Richard Nixon in light of official documents that have been disclosed in Japan since 2010 and in the United States since the 1990s. Based on newly available sources, this thesis shows that the 1969 Summit should be considered a Japanese-led initiative with two aims: firstly, to announce a deadline for Okinawa's return with all nuclear weapons removed; and secondly, to reform the Japan-US security treaty system without repeating the kind of outright revision concluded in 1960. The Japanese plan to reform the security treaty system involved simplifying the prior consultation formula by making a public commitment to the security of South Korea of sufficient strength that the United States would agree to the dissolution of the 1960 secret 'Korea Minute'. The Japanese Government achieved its first aim but only partially succeeded in its second. Whilst the return of Okinawa was announced, the status of US bases in Okinawa and mainland Japan continued to be governed by an elaborate web of agreements, public and secret, which damaged public confidence and hampered an improvement in relations between Japan and its neighbouring countries. This thesis shows that commonly held academic opinions about the 1969 Summit are incorrect. Firstly, there was no quid pro quo in which Japan linked its security to South Korea in exchange for Okinawa: both these outcomes were in fact Japanese objectives at the beginning of the summit preparations. Secondly, the success of the summit did not depend on 'backchannel' negotiations between Wakaizumi Kei and Henry Kissinger: it is likely that an announcement on Okinawa's reversion would have been achieved in 1969 even if preparations for the summit had been left to the Japanese Foreign Ministry and the US State Department. Mládež a její morálka ve vztahu k současné společnosti / The Youth and their Moral Attitude to the Current Society

The thesis deals with the moral thinking of youth in its adolescent age. The first part deals with the basic ethic terms and with historical development of ethic thinking. The thesis deals further with determinants, which influence the moral development of thinking of a man including primary and secondary socialisation and the influence of a state. The theoretical part ends with a chapter dealing with the psychological aspects of development of moral judgement, where are described the particular stages of moral development according to Lawrence Kohlberg. The practical part deals with the research in a given group according to Kohlberg. The research is made with regard to family background of an individual. Except for reactions to Heinz´s dilemma, there are researched the differences between moral attitudes of men and women and the differences between individuals coming from villages or cities. The aim of this thesis is to judge, if it is possible from the stage of a moral judgement of the researched adoloscents, judge a relation according to the context of their experience in the family. The research showed some influences to moral thinking of a man, but it is not possible to determine the convincing conclusions. The man is to complicated human being, whose moral quality shows the concrete and practical situation only.
