Nessa perspectiva, este trabalho tem como objetivo demonstrar o potencial de uma startup e sua tecnologia, em rela??o ? players do mercado e suas tecnologias similares existentes, levando em considera??o aspectos como, viabilidade tecnol?gica, financeira e mercadol?gica. Para alcan??-lo, optou-se por uma pesquisa baseada em metodologias e abordagens: ?geis, empreendedoras e inovadoras, a partir de referencial bibliogr?fico e digital, bem como de experi?ncias em ambientes de inova??o. Dessa forma, buscou-se descrever as tecnologias similares existentes tendo em vista a meteorologia no Brasil e no mundo, bem como os representantes e fabricantes dessas tecnologias, no ?mbito das esta??es meteorol?gicas e dataloggers; apresentar a startup e a tecnologia desenvolvida relacionando com os players do mercado e suas tecnologias similares existentes, levando em conta quest?es de viabilidade tecnol?gica e financeira; e analisar as aplica??es da tecnologia desenvolvida considerando a startup e seus mercados-alvo, bem como outros setores. Desse modo, com base nas valida??es e provas de conceito realizadas, pode-se afirmar que, a startup e seu produto/servi?o tem potencial para competir com players do mercado. / Compete with the players in the Market is not easy, however starturps have been assuming an important role in the global economy. In this perspective, this work aims to show the potential of a startup and its technology, compared to market players and their similar technologies, mainly aspects such as technological, financial and marketing viability. To achieve this goal, we chose an research, based on methodologies and approaches: agile, entrepreneurs and innovative, from bibliographic and digital references, as well as experiences in innovation environments. In this way, we seek to describe the similar meteorological technologies in Brazil and in the world, as well as the representatives and manufacturers of these technologies, within the scope of current meteorological stations and dataloggers. Moreover, we seek to present the startup and developed technology relating to market players and their existing similar technologies, taking into account issues of technological and financial feasibility and to analyze the applications of the technology developed considering startup and its target markets as well as other sectors. Thus, based on the validations and proofs of concept, it can be stated that the startup and its product/service has the potential to compete with market players.

The resulting startup, COIoT, of the Samana? Platform will be presented, as research project developed at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN) in cooperation with the Northeast Regional Center of the Brazilian National Institute for Space Research (CRN-INPE). In addition, it will also be described the intellectual property artifacts developed and introduced by the startup, modeled during the present master?s course and object of this work. The results will be discussed in terms of intellectual property artifacts and how such artifacts will be commercially exploited by startup, resulting in a return on royalties to the research institutions involved.

A moringa ole?fera, ?rvore origin?ria da ?ndia e que se adaptou perfeitamente ao semi?rido nordestino, ? uma planta que vem se mostrando uma das melhores fontes de nutrientes alimentares e de ?leo vegetal de alta qualidade. Dois fatos sobre a moringa ole?fera foram verificados no estudo para confec??o deste trabalho: 1. N?o h? estudos relevantes sobre a viabilidade econ?mico-financeira da cultura da moringa no Brasil; 2. A planta n?o ? explorada economicamente no pa?s na escala que poderia ser. Utilizando t?cnicas abordadas no Mestrado em Inova??o da UFRN, tais como Design Thinking e Avalia??o Econ?mica de Projetos, este trabalho foca no estudo da viabilidade econ?mico-financeira da planta??o de moringa ole?fera no semi?rido nordestino e na produ??o e exporta??o de p? de folha e ?leo de semente de moringa. Os resultados obtidos s?o positivos, apontando para um VPL de R$ 1.440.160,00. Como se objetiva tamb?m implanta??o de uma startup para explora??o econ?mica da moringa, este trabalho ? apresentado na estrutura de um plano de neg?cios. / Adoption of healthy eating habits is growing fast in the world. Consumer demand for products using natural and sustainable raw materials also grows, most notably in the developed countries of Europe and North America. The moringa ole?fera, an India native tree which has perfectly adapted to the Brazilian northeastern semi-arid region, is a plant that is proving to be one of the best sources of nutrients and high quality vegetable oil. Two facts about moringa ole?fera were verified in the research to write this thesis: 1. There are no relevant studies related to the economic-financial viability of moringa culture in Brazil; 2. The plant is not economically exploited in the country on the scale it could be. Using techniques discussed in the Master's Degree in Innovation at UFRN, such as Design Thinking and Projects Economic Valuation, this work focuses on the economic-financial viability of the moringa plantation in the Brazilian northeastern semi-arid region and on the production and export of moringa leaf powder and seed oil. The results are positive with a NPV of R$ 1,440,160.00. Since this project also aims to implement a startup company for economic exploitation of the moringa, this work is presented in the structure of a business plan.

Desde o ano de 1963 a pediculose vem crescendo significativamente, principalmente, no ambiente escolar e nos centros urbanos. Isso decorre da aglomera??o de pessoas, tendo em vista a facilidade com que ? transmitida. Os procedimentos terap?uticos atuais apresentam efeitos colaterais, oferecendo risco ? sa?de do hospedeiro e contribuindo para a resist?ncia do parasita aos f?rmacos utilizados, elevando os custos com o tratamento. Os autores se propuseram a desenvolver um produto alternativo at?xico, biocompat?vel, biodegrad?vel e que desfavore?a a muta??o gen?tica apresentada pelos piolhos aos tratamentos dispon?veis atualmente, tudo isso suportado na gest?o da inova??o. Para gerir o projeto foram preparadas amostras do hidrogel ? dispers?o de quitosana em solu??o aquosa de ?cido ac?tico com dissolu??o pr?via do metilparabeno e adi??o de ess?ncia e glicerina - para posterior uso no ensaio in vitro e caracteriza??o f?sico-qu?mica do produto. A caracteriza??o f?sico-qu?mica das amostras foi realizada atrav?s de an?lise organol?ptica, da an?lise reol?gica e aferi??o do pH. A valida??o metodol?gica do produto foi realizada atrav?s do ensaio in vitro, que envolveu a sele??o das amostras, a coleta e padroniza??o de mechas de cabelo, exame e classifica??o da pediculose e, por fim, a aplica??o e constata??o da efici?ncia do produto. A gest?o de custo foi realizada a partir dos c?lculos de custos fixos e vari?veis, necess?rios ? produ??o do hidrogel. Foi realizado o dep?sito do pedido de patente junto ao Instituto Nacional da Propriedade Industrial (INPI) sob o registro n? BR 1020150251793 para garantir o direito ? propriedade intelectual sobre o produto. Os resultados obtidos durante a caracteriza??o f?sico-qu?mica do hidrogel revelaram estabilidade na colora??o e no odor durante os 60 dias em que o hidrogel foi armazenado. Observou-se no estudo reol?gico o comportamento caracter?stico de fluidos pseudopl?sticos das dispers?es de quitosana preparadas, dada ? redu??o observada na viscosidade em fun??o da eleva??o da taxa de cisalhamento. O percentual de remo??o dos ovos na amostra tratada com o hidrogel foi maior (83% dos ovos na primeira aplica??o) do que o observado na exclusiva aplica??o de solu??o de ?cido ac?tico (32%). O tratamento utilizando o produto proposto, denominado hidrogel, pode ser disponibilizado a um pre?o competitivo, tendo em vista a m?dia de pre?os praticados pelos concorrentes. / Pediculosis is characterized by infestation by Pediculus humanus capitis in humans. Since 1963 pediculosis has been growing significantly, mainly in the school environment and in urban centers. This is due to the agglomeration of people, given the ease with which it is transmitted. The current therapeutic procedures present side effects, offering a risk to the health of the host and contributing to the resistance of the parasite to the drugs used, increasing costs with the treatment. The authors set out to develop an alternative, non-toxic, biocompatible, biodegradable product that would undermine the genetic mutation presented by lice to currently available treatments, all supported in the management of innovation. To manage the project, samples of the hydrogel - chitosan dispersion in aqueous solution of acetic acid were prepared with previous dissolution of methylparaben and addition of essence and glycerine - for later use in the in vitro test and physicochemical characterization of the product. The physico-chemical characterization of the samples was performed through organoleptic analysis, rheological analysis and pH measurement. The methodological validation of the product was performed through the in vitro test, which involved sample selection, collection and standardization of hair strands, examination and classification of pediculosis and, finally, application and verification of product efficiency. The cost management was carried out from the calculations of fixed and variable costs, necessary for the production of the hydrogel. The filing of the patent application was filed with the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) under registry number BR 1020150251793 to guarantee the right to intellectual property on the product. The results obtained during the physico-chemical characterization of the hydrogel revealed staining and odor stability during the 60 days in which the hydrogel was stored. It was observed in the rheological study the characteristic behavior of pseudoplastic fluids of the prepared chitosan dispersions, due to the observed reduction in viscosity as a function of the elevation of the shear rate. The percentage of egg removal in the hydrogel treated sample was higher (83% of the eggs in the first application) than that observed in the application of acetic acid solution (32%). The treatment using the proposed product, called hydrogel, can be made available at a competitive price, given the average prices of concurrents.

Os resultados da pesquisa indicaram experi?ncias pontuais, por?m significativas, no contexto em que foram desenvolvidas, no tocante ao envolvimento e entusiasmo das equipes escolares aplicadas ao planejamento e ? organiza??o do trabalho pedag?gico coletivo e colaborativo. As pr?ticas caracterizadas no estudo emitem notas conclusivas a despeito de n?o serem consideradas pr?ximas ao preconizado pela ruptura paradigm?tica prescrita na pr?tica pedag?gica inovadora. Os procedimentos utilizados para an?lise dos resultados se deram por meio da t?cnica de An?lise de Conte?do de Bardin (1977) e Amado (2000). / This study, linked to the Research Line: Education, Representations and Teacher Training, arose from the concerns about the problematic that involves the educational practices in High School in the context of the Pedagogical Innovation Project (PIP), action of the State Secretariat of Education and Culture of the RN, within the framework of the Sustainable RN Project / World Bank. The guiding question of the study prompted us to question the extent to which the Pedagogical Innovation Project (PIP) contributes to the innovative pedagogical practices of the high school teachers of the RN state network. PIP, in its first edition, has brought pedagogical innovation as a qualitative change to occur in the practice of teachers as a presupposition, which is achieved through the identification of a pedagogical problem and the innovative proposal built by the school. We identified that the contributions of PIP to the innovative pedagogical practices of high school teachers were the openness to the use of new technologies and the strengthening of teaching planning. The results of the research indicated punctual but significant experiences in the context in which they were developed, regarding the involvement and enthusiasm of the school teams applied to the planning and organization of collective and collaborative pedagogical work. The practices characterized in the study emit conclusive notes in spite of not being considered close to the one advocated by the paradigmatic rupture prescribed in the innovative pedagogical practice. Innovative practices for teachers are still rooted in a culture of innovation based on the use of technological devices that do not mobilize conscious knowledge and decision-making. These findings were based on the theoretical reference of the conceptions of pedagogical innovation and innovative pedagogical practices in: Garcia (1989); Pretto (1997); Messina and Blanco (2000); Aguerrondo and Xifra (2002); Carbonell (2002); Militrus (2002); Tedesco, (2004), Mac?as (2007); Mu?oz and Hernandez (2008); Moreira (2008); Poggi (2011); Farias (2006). In the scope of training, a dialogue was maintained with studies carried out by Ramalho et al. (2004, 2014); Perrenoud et al. (2001); Charlot (2001); Perrenoud (2000); Imbern?n, (2012), Garcia (2013), among others. This is an exploratory study based on the qualitative approach. The instrument used to collect the data was a semi-structured questionnaire with open and closed questions, as well as the six projects of the schools surveyed. The procedures used to analyze the results were obtained through the technique of Content Analysis of Bardin (1977) and Amado (2000).

In that matter, the technological innovation is recognized as basic factor of maintainable economical competitiveness, being the responsible for the breaking and/or improvement of the techniques and production processes, what presupposes the systematization varied institutional arrangements that they involve firms, interaction nets among companies, government agencies, universities, research institutes, laboratories of companies and scientists and engineers activities. Those arrangements, to the if they articulate with the educational system, with the industrial and managerial section and, also, with the financial institutions, they take the form that Freeman (1987) it coined of national system of innovation, promoted through public politics of CT&I, which seek to induce and to support innovative initiatives in the companies, as well as to establish demands and to prioritize vocations and regional potentialities. In that context of government support to the technological innovation interferes this study, that it looked for to know the reasons of the fragility innovative in the pharmaceutical industry of State of Par? in Brazil, pointed for PINTEC (2005), starting from the point of view of the businessmen of that section. For such, the qualitative approach was used - with interviews directing semi and the technique of the content analysis. The results of the research pointed that the fragilities innovative of the section links to the ignorance of the government support to the technological innovation on the part of the businessmen of the pharmaceutical industry of State of Par? in Brazil / As transforma??es econ?micas, culturais e sociais que ocorrem em ?mbito mundial est?o associadas ao intenso avan?o e expans?o de novas tecnologias, for?ando governos, pessoas, empresas e na??es ? introdu??o de novos padr?es de comportamento, obrigando, desse modo, ? renova??o cont?nua de produtos e processos tecnol?gicos para manter a competitividade, tanto entre na??es, como no mundo empresarial. In this context, this research aims to identify the influence of public investments to promote innovation in the degree of maturity of innovative companies in the state of the RN. The theoretical basis of the understanding of the scope of the concept of innovation and its determination for the purposes of this study. Typology, degree of innovation, evaluation methodologies and mechanisms to support innovation : Still on the theme of innovation additional concepts that help the reader to a greater understanding, such as are presented. Following is approached conceptualization of the triple helix, highlighting the concepts advocated by Etzkowitz and Leydesdorff, Salomon and Silva and Ipiranga, Freitas and Paiva, among others. Essas t?cnicas t?m como foco a redu??o dos desperd?cios atrav?s da elimina??o dos erros (GOMES, 2005). Com o avan?o tecnol?gico dos ?ltimos anos, as empresas passaram a enfrentar concorr?ncia cada vez mais acirrada, exigindo mudan?as mais r?pidas e uma flexibiliza??o em seus processos de trabalhos (SILVA, 2008). Diante dessa nova realidade, a gest?o da inova??o passou a ser a t?nica dos neg?cios e as empresas que demonstram maior flexibilidade em seus processos passaram a ganhar maiores fatias de mercado (PEREIRA, 2005). Contudo, observa-se que a qualidade abordada no in?cio da pesquisa e a inova??o podem ser interpretados como contradit?rios, visto que a qualidade visa eliminar o erro e a inova??o, aceita o erro como ferramenta de aprendizagem e melhoria. Diante desse paradoxo entre a gest?o da qualidade e gest?o da inova??o surge um dilema: Como combinar esses fatores, gest?o da qualidade e gest?o da inova??o? A tecnologia desenvolvida foi validada a partir de sua aplica??o em diferentes projetos, o que evidencia a viabilidade de sua implementa??o. / From the beginning of the modern administration, beginning of century XX, companies of the most diverse segments adopted rational techniques aiming the control and quality in its productive processes. These techniques focus on waste reduction through the elimination of errors (GOMES, 2005). With the technological advance of the last years, companies have faced increasingly fierce competition, demanding rapid changes and a relaxation in their work processes (SILVA, 2008). Faced with this new reality, innovation management has become a tonic of business and companies that demonstrate greater flexibility in their processes have started to gain more market shares (PEREIRA, 2005). However, it is observed that quality addresses no research initiation and an innovation can be interpreted as contradictory, since quality is an innovation, it accepts error as a learning tool and better. Faced with this paradox between quality management and innovation management, there is a dilemma: How to combine these factors, quality management and innovation management? Throughout the work, it is presented to situations in which innovation and quality can confront especially in projects of software development. The research aims to design the framework QIn (Quality and Innovation) for management of software projects. The context of universityindustry interaction have been an important source of innovation through knowledge and technology transfer. Nevertheless, the distinctive organizational nature of universities and industries presents challenges, especially in countries with less experience and lower intensity of innovation, such as the Brazilian reality. This dissertation has the objective of exploring the important dimensions in the perspective of the industries which engage in activities of knowledge and technology transfer with universities in Brazil. The research, of qualitative and descriptive approach, obtained answers of fourteen executives from companies engaged with universities. Five relevant dimensions were identified and analyzed on the industry perspective: motivations to engage in collaborations, activities of transfer in the interactions, intervenient factors, facilitators and barriers for transfer activities, as well as, expected innovation outcomes out of interactions with universities. The main factors, or variables, were identified and categorized, relevant within each one of the five dimensions and were compared to the available theory found in the literature. Among theoretical contributions of this study, it is the redesign of the process of knowledge and technological transfer in the university-industry interaction, including the qualification of the main factors for the industries. Another important contribution resides on a diagnosis of the Brazilian reality on the subject matter, compared to other countries in more developed stages of development. Regarding, the managerial contributions, this study is useful for universities aiming at improving relationships with industries, because it presents priorities and value attributes in the industry perspective. Another relevant managerial contribution has as recipient the own industry engaged in collaborations with universities. In this case, one industry is able to obtain critical factors in the relationship with universities, so that it can plan solutions accordingly to deal with situations that may come. / A crescente competitividade e encurtamento dos ciclos tecnol?gicos t?m conduzido as empresas ? busca por inova??es de diferentes fontes. O contexto da intera??o entre universidade e empresa tem sido uma importante fonte de inova??o por meio da transfer?ncia de conhecimento e tecnologia. Entretanto, a distin??o da natureza organizacional de universidades e empresas apresenta desafios, em especial em pa?ses com menos experi?ncia e intensidade de inova??o, como na realidade brasileira. Esta disserta??o tem por objetivo explorar as dimens?es importantes na perspectiva das empresas que se engajam em intera??es com universidades no Brasil para atingir seus objetivos de inova??o. A pesquisa, de abordagem qualitativa descritiva, obteve resposta de 14 profissionais vinculados a empresas engajadas em intera??es com universidades. Foram identificadas e analisadas cinco dimens?es relevantes na vis?o das empresas: as motiva??es para se engajar nas colabora??es, as atividades de transfer?ncia realizadas nas intera??es, os fatores intervenientes, facilitadores e barreiras ?s transfer?ncias, assim como os resultados de inova??o esperados a partir da intera??o com as universidades. The bibliographic research was used, with a qualitative approach. As instruments to obtain data that contributed to the analysis of that context, semi-structured interviews were conducted, with two teachers participating in the Working Group, established by the SESu / MEC Ordinance no. 383 of April 12, 2010, which prepared the Guidelines for Interdisciplinary Bachelor's Degree. In order to subsidize the study, the theoretical contribution of theses and dissertations was sought, in which it was decided to use Ball & Bowe's Policy Cycle Approach, specifically regarding the Context of Influence. With the combination of studies on the subject, carried out and disseminated in theses and dissertations, the experiences reported by the interviewees and the authors consulted, it was possible to obtain information that brought some light on the paths that led to the creation of the Graduation Courses called Interdisciplinary Bachelors. These paths are certainly due to the transformations resulting from globalization in all areas and in particular in the field of educational policies. . On the other hand, in seeking to identify the paths that led to the creation in Brazil of undergraduate courses called Interdisciplinary Bachelor's, one can affirm that this new training proposal reflects a situation that presents itself as a worldwide trend: the reorganization of knowledge in the perspective of interdisciplinary integration, which according to the authors studied, could cause the "frontiers of scientific knowledge" to advance. The Bologna Process, flagship of education reform in Europe, was an inspiration matrix for Brazilian Interdisciplinary Bachelor's. Another inspiring source of the national proposal were the major American colleges and the brief experience of the University of Brasilia in 1961, idealized by An?sio Teixeira and Darcy Ribeiro. Thus, the study, brought some light on the paths that led to the creation of the Undergraduate Courses called Interdisciplinary Bachelor. / A pesquisa analisa o contexto pol?tico-educacional em que foram pensados e criados os cursos de gradua??o denominados Bacharelados Interdisciplinares. Foi utilizada a pesquisa bibliogr?fica, de abordagem qualitativa. Como instrumentos para obten??o de dados que contribu?ram para a an?lise daquele contexto, foram feitas entrevistas semiestruturadas, com dois docentes participantes do Grupo de Trabalho institu?do pela Portaria SESu/MEC n?. 383, de 12 de abril de 2010, que elaborou os Referenciais Orientadores para os Bacharelados Interdisciplinares. Para subsidiar o estudo, buscou-se o aporte te?rico de teses e disserta??es nas quais optou-se por utilizar a Abordagem do Ciclo de Pol?ticas de Ball & Bowe no que se refere, especificamente, ao Contexto da Influ?ncia. Com a mescla dos estudos sobre a tem?tica realizados e divulgados em teses e disserta??es, as experi?ncias relatadas pelos entrevistados e os autores consultados foi poss?vel obter-se informa??es que apontaram alguns caminhos que conduziram ? cria??o dos Bacharelados Interdisciplinares. Esses caminhos passam, certamente, pelas transforma??es decorrentes da globaliza??o em todas as ?reas e em particular no campo das pol?ticas educacionais.
