Návrh teplovzdušného vytápění a větrání nízkoenergetického domku / Design of warm air heating system for low-energy houseKoutník, Martin January 2008 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with design of warm air heating and ventilating system for low energy house. Introduction of this thesis is focused on dividing residential buildings by their heat requirement. Then problems of residential building ventilation and possibilities of warm air heating systems including heat recovery are presented. In the next chapter summary of ventilating units with heat recovery and warm air heating units for residential low energy buildings and pasive family houses is presented. Calculation of low energy house heat losses, which is solved, is based on CSN 06 0210, CSN 73 0540 and CSN EN 12831 standards. Design and calculation of warm air heating and ventilation system and ground heat exchangers is also described. Floor heating system, fireplace insert and solar heating system are designed as supplementary systems. At the end of this thesis the control system is presented. Project documentation is enclosed in appendix.

The dissertation thesis deals with the relation of a person towards the physical public space from the point of view of an artist/teacher in the academic milieu. The frequently discussed subject of public space is not limited to purely artistic sphere or artistic gesture. It also implies a simple transgression to everyday life related to education and cultivation. An essential part of the research is the case study at the Department of Art Education of the Faculty of Education of the Charles University, which inquires into the perception of the future pedagogues of the physical public space and how they gtranslate it into the art language. The cornerstone stimulus for the research lies in the premise that future teachers will, through the prism of their view of the worl and by their vocation influence the education of the young generation. This fact of transgression is given by the existence of the subject of Art Education where the 3D design itself plays a certain role. The research is focused on what lies behind the phenomena in the process of the creation and inception of "something new" in the physical public space. Integration gedruckter Elektronik in Kunststoffe durch FolienhinterspritzenWeigelt, Karin 29 May 2013 (has links)
Ausgehend von der Anwendung von Folienhinterspritzprozessen für dekorative Zwecke wurde deren Nutzung für die Integration elektronischer Strukturen in Kunststoffbauteile untersucht. Die Herstellung der elektronischen Bauelemente erfolgte mittels verschiedener Druckverfahren mit elektrisch leitfähigen und dielektrischen Materialien auf Polycarbonatfolien. Im Fokus standen zum einen kapazitiv auslesbare Speicherstrukturen und zum anderen Elektrolumineszenzleuchten. Nach dem Druck wurden die bedruckten Folien z. T. verformt und hinterspritzt. In der Arbeit wird auf die Auswirkungen der Verform- und Hinterspritzprozesse eingegangen. Schwerpunktmäßig wird die elektronische bzw. optische Funktionalität der Bauelemente, die Beeinflussung durch Klimaveränderungen und die Haftfestigkeit der Folien betrachtet. Im Ergebnis konnten erstmals die Realisierbarkeit hinterspritzter elektronischer Bauelemente nachgewiesen sowie verschiedene Einflussfaktoren auf deren Funktionalität identifiziert werden. / Based on the application of film insert molding for graphic purposes, the utilization of this process for the integration of electronic devices into plastic components was examined. The manufacturing of the electronic devices was realized by applying electrical conductive and dielectric inks on polycarbonate foil by various printing processes. Capacitive data storage patterns and electroluminescent lamps are the main applications. The production sequence included the printing process, forming of the foil where required and back injection molding. The impact of forming and film insert molding was investigated. The electronic and/or optical functionality of the devices, the influence of ambient conditions like temperature or humidity and the adhesion strength of the foils were in the focus of the evaluation. As a result, the feasibility of film insert molded electronic devices could be verified and various impact factors could be identified for the first time.

Fibre reinforced plastics (FRP) are increasingly employed in structural parts of the automotive, aviation and aerospace as well as railway industries. For those applications a heavily loaded, as well as crash and safety relevant force translation component is developed. This Hybrid-Insert consists of SMC and a metal insert, and is based on modular assembly through standard elements. The galvanic insulation of the metal insert by the SMC provides an excellent corrosion protection. The couplingstrength of the metal insert moulded into the SMC fulfills the tensile requirements of a M10 10.9 screw fit by VDI 2230 standards. Additionally the component provides a high degree of energy absorption and a gradual failure process. / Faserverstärkte Kunststoffe (FVK) werden zunehmend in Strukturbauteilen der Automobil-,der Luft- und Raumfahrt- sowie der Schienenfahrzeugindustrie eingesetzt. Für diese Anwendungen wird ein hochbelastetes sowie crash- und sicherheitsrelevantes Krafteinleitungselement entwickelt. Dieses Hybrid-Insert, bestehend aus SMC und einem Metalleinsatz, ist modular aus Standardkomponenten aufgebaut. Die galvanische Isolation des Metalleinsatzes durch das SMC bietet für diesen einen hervorragenden Korrosionsschutz. Die Verankerungsfestigkeit des Metalleinsatzes im SMC genügt den Anforderungen einer M10 10.9 Verschraubung nach VDI 2230. Zusätzlich zeichnet sich das Krafteinleitungselement durch eine hohe Energieabsorption und ein gutmütiges Versagen aus.

The Characterisation of Putative Nuclear Pore-Anchoring Proteins in Arabidopsis thalianaCollins, Patrick January 2013 (has links)
The nuclear pore complex (NPC) is perhaps the largest protein complex in the eukaryotic cell, and controls the movement of molecules across the nuclear envelope. The NPC is composed of up to 30 proteins termed nucleoporins (Nups), each grouped in different sub-complexes. The transmembrane ring sub-complex is composed of Nups responsible for anchoring the NPC to the nuclear envelope. Bioinformatic analysis has traced all major sub-complexes of the NPC back to the last eukaryotic common ancestor, meaning that the nuclear pore structure and function is conserved amongst all eukaryotes. In this study Arabidopsis T-DNA knockout lines for these genes were investigated to characterise gene function. Differences in plant growth and development were observed for the ndc1 knockout line compared to wild-type but gp210 plants showed no phenotypic differences. The double knockout line gp210 ndc1 was generated through crosses to observe plant response to the knockout of two anchoring-Nup genes. No synergistic affect from this double knockout was observed, suggesting that more, as yet unidentified Nups function the transmembrane ring in plants. The sensitivity to nuclear export inhibitor leptomycin B (LMB) was tested also for knockout lines, although growth sensitivity to the drug was not observed. Nucleocytoplasmic transport of knockout lines was measured in cells transformed by particle bombardment. To express fluorescent protein constructs actively transported through the NPC, localisation of protein determined the nucleocytoplasmic transport of the cell. The ndc1single knockout and the double knockout gp210 ndc1 exhibited decreased nuclear export. Further experiments in determining NDC1 localisation and identification of other Nups in the transmembrane ring sub-complex would bring a more comprehensive understanding to the plant NPC.
