Πληροφοριακό σύστημα του Νοσοκομείου Μεσολογγίου : προβλήματα ανάπτυξης και εφαρμογής / Information system of Mesolonghi's hospital : problems of development and implementationΝότη, Αλεξάνδρα 05 February 2015 (has links)
The entry of information into our lives was decisive let alone into the field of health. Current Hospital Information Systems (HIS) are significant and imperative in improving health services and facilitate daily both hospital staff and citizens. Using these simplifies the existing operating procedures of health facilities, reduces the daily workload, significantly improves the working conditions of staff and reduces the waiting time of patient. However, in our country their use in public hospitals has been appeared progressively and even today is not widespread.
In this present diploma thesis, it is given a description of the structure and the main characteristics of a Hospital Information System (HIS). Then, is considered the application and the use of a specific Information System 'ASKLIPIOS ™ HOSPITAL' into Hospital of Messolonghi where has been installed.
Within elaborating this paper a survey has been conducted in General Hospital of Messolonghi « HATZIKOSTA » with purpose of diagnosing problems in the development and implementation of the Information System 'ASKLIPIOS ™ HOSPITAL' in order future to be resolved.

Exploring the validity of the VIA-Inventory of Strengths in an African context / Itumeleng P. KhumaloKhumalo, Itumeleng Paul January 2005 (has links)
The aim of this study was to explore the validity of the Values in Action Inventory of
Strengths (VIA-IS) in an African context. This 240-item self-report questionnaire that
measures 24 character strengths (Peterson & Seligrnan, 2004), was developed in a
western individualistic context, and it cannot be assumed to be valid in African
contexts without prior scientific evaluation. The current study, a first step in the
evaluation of its validity in an African context, focussed on psychometric properties
such as reliability, mean scores and variance, criterion-related validity, confirmatory
and exploratory factor analyses, as well as translatability.
In a cross-sectional survey design an availability sample of African students
(N=256) completed the original English version of the VIA-IS and other criterion-related
measures of psychological well-being and health, during facilitated group
sessions. The latter scales were the Affectometer 2 (Kammann & Flett, 1983), the
Fortitude Questionnaire (Pretorius, 1998), the Sense of Coherence Scale (Antonovsky,
1987), the Satisfaction with Life Scale (Diener, et al. 1985), and the General Health
Questionnaire (Goldberg & Hillier, 1979). Translation of the VIA-IS into Setswana
and back-translation were conducted and evaluated by a research evaluation
committee.
Results indicated that mean scores of the VIA-IS subscales are relatively aligned
with those in a western context. Twenty of the twenty-four VIA-subscales showed
satisfactory Cronbach alphas reliability indices above .70. The VIA-IS satisfies
criterion-related validity as indicated by positive correlation with life satisfaction,
positive affect, fortitude and sense of coherence, and negative correlation with
negative affect and symptoms of ill-health. The VIA-IS was found to be translatable
with preservation of original meaning, but in some instances technical terms had to be
borrowed. Second order confirmatory and exploratory principal component factor
analyses on the 24 strengths yielded three significant factors, and not six as
theoretically expected, in this African group. The three emic virtue clusters are 1)
Wisdom, knowledge and courage, 2) Horizontal and vertical relatedness and 3)
Integrity in a group context: temperance and justice. This clustering of virtues reflects
a socio-centric, collectivistic African cultural value system. It is concluded that the
VIA-IS may have merit in an African context, but is not completely valid in its
original form with its hypothesised six value clusters. With modifications and
adaptations a more valid version may be developed for an African context. Studies on
randomly selected, larger African samples are recommended. / Thesis (M.Sc. (Clinical Psychology))--North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, 2005.

This work is a part of the scientific research “IS engineering method grounded on knowledge” carried out in the department of IS.
Information systems engineering is started by the analyses of activity area – workflow model sequences of analyzed processes are made. Workflow model sequences transforming method has been created, that checks completeness and sequence of the data collected.
Such checked by created methods and located in CASE system knowledge basis activity model will be called activity knowledge structure. In the storage of CASE system professional knowledge in accumulated and collected using modified work sequence models. The completeness of the information collected is checked using professional knowledge and completeness checking algorithms – information shift, data separation elimination of the breakpoints, function structure setting and import.
The activity knowledge accumulation has been programmed. Information data accumulation and completeness checking algorithms are realized... [to full text]

Ilgalaikių kontraktų vykdymo finansinės kontrolės IS / Long term contract financial control information systemMartynaitis, Darius 12 January 2005 (has links)
The main goal of these thesis is : to carry out all organization process that must be computerized. There are some processes which man cannot carry out withuot special software. The main critical proces is financial control of contracts. Contract begins with signing between our handing organization and customers. Each contract consists of terms and good‘s that must be delivered at time. The name of thesis „long term... „ says that contract conditions are exercised in parts. Goods are been delivered in parts and payment is been getting in parts too. So there are many contracts, and the man is unable to control all its himself. So our software must do financial contract control : to mark parts of good of each contract, allow to see every condition of contracts, and allow to solve the problem of goods identification (BAR codes), because our organization is an agent in trading range. We made our software, theretofore did analysis of excisting software, software that can be partially useful for us and can be upgraded using our functional requirements. We used to modificate typical agreement data model by Len Silverston and use it to transform to DB schema (realationships). Our software (projecting and coding) is made using these tools : Rational Rose, MS Visio, Borland Delphi, MS Access and MS SQL Server.

Nuotolinio mokymo(-si) turinio kokybės reflektyvaus vertinimo projektavimas / Designing Distance Learning / Teaching Curriculum Quality Reflective AssuranceVolungevičienė, Airina 28 March 2008 (has links)
Sparčių socialinių, technologinių ir ekonominių pokyčių veikiamoje Europoje mokymasis visą gyvenimą tapo būtinybe. Nuotolinis mokymas(-is) (NM) puikiai sprendžia strateginių švietimo sistemos siekių įgyvendinimą, sukuriant mokymosi galimybes ir efektyvesn mokymo(-si) procesą, užtikrinant lankstesnį mokymo(-si) veiklos organizavimą. Naujai atsirandančioms NM formoms turi būti taikoma kokybės kriterijų bei rodiklių sistema, o NM turinio kokybė turi būti įvertinama prieš kiekvieną mokymo(-si) organizavimą.
Lietuvoje parengtos NM turinio kokybės vertinimo metodikos leidžia įvertinti jo kokybę prieš jo akreditaciją, tačiau pasirinktų NM turinio realizavimo formų ir NM turinio projektavimo strategijos efektyvumas ir poveikis mokymo(-si) organizavimo procesui lieka neįvertinti. Mokymo(-si) turinio kokybės vertinimo proceso metu neužtikrinama konstruktyvaus mokymo(-si) samprata, nes nėra įvertinama, ar NM turinys leis mokymo(-si) organizatoriams savarankiškai veikti individualiose, nenumatytose situacijose mokymo(-si) organizavimo metu. Tačiau kokybės vertinimo metodika negali būti parengta kol nėra nustatyti ir apibendrinti veiksniai, įtakojantys NM turinio kokybę
Disertacijoje projektuojamas NM turinio kokybės reflektyvus vertinimo modelis sujungia NM turinio projektavimo ir mokymo(-si) organizavimo procesus. Tyrime nagrinėjamos NM turinio projektavimo teorijos, identifikuojamos turinio kokybės vertinimo dimensijos, operacionalizuojami kokybės vertinimo veiksniai, kurių... [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / Lifelong learning became a must skill in Europe and all over the World that are affected by rapid social, technological and economical changes in nowadays. Qualitative training and learning process is influenced by many factors that should be carefully examined during the curriculum design phases, as well as during the learning/ teaching process. Distance learning and teaching is the efficient means to implement strategic aims of the system of education: to create learning possibilities for all society members, to contribute to designing effective learning/ teaching process, as well as to ensure more flexile organization of learning activities. While new distance learning/ teaching forms are getting more and more popular, they should be reviewed regularly applying a consistent quality evaluation methodology based on quality criteria and indicators, and distance learning/ teaching curriculum quality should be examined before each learning/ teaching process.
There are some examples of quality assessment methodology prepared for distance learning/ teaching curriculum assessment in Lithuania on practical level allowing assessing distance learning/ teaching curriculum quality before accreditation procedure, however, such factors as analysis of other existing resources for realisation of curriculum online, effectiveness of chosen curriculum design and factors, influencing learning/ teaching process having the current design options, are not assessed at all.

Mokinių, turinčių specialiųjų poreikių, valstybinės kalbos mokymo(si) ypatumai bendrojo lavinimo mokykloje / Peculiarities of teaching and learning the state language to schoolchildren, having special needs, at comprehensive schoolMusonienė, Agnė 25 May 2006 (has links)
After the restoration of Lithuanian independence, it has become a necessity to learn the Lithuanian language for many citizens of Lithuania, whose native language is not Lithuanian. In the schools of national minority children with special needs also have to learn the state language. As it is observed in practice, not all children with special needs come to school with perfect knowledge of their native language, so we can presume that these children encounter with a lot of difficulties, arising from their surrounding factors, while learning the state language.
This work is performed to reveal the peculiarities of teaching and learning the state language to schoolchildren, having special needs, at national minority school.
Two groups of respondents took part in this research: Lithuanian language teachers of national minority schools and children with special needs.
Analysis of the research has shown that the number of schoolchildren with special needs integrated into national minority schools is increasing. The Lithuanian language teachers of national minority schools do not have enough knowledge about teaching non-native language to schoolchildren with special needs. However, the educators’ attitude towards these schoolchildren is positive. A lack of special language teaching devices, textbooks is felt while educating children with special needs, so the teachers differentiate and constantly prepare individual tasks for these schoolchildren.
The state language learning... [to full text]
