Ao trabalhar com extrema genialidade todo um conjunto de referências simbólicas e míticas presentes no imaginário alemão, Riefenstahl construiu, portanto, uma das mais impactantes peças de divulgação do regime hitlerista, apresentando ao mundo os ideais do Terceiro Reich e a força da nova Alemanha. / The National Socialism, as it denied the basic principles of the occidental modernism, represented the idea of another modernity based on the rescue and the future projection of the past glories of the Germanic nation. In this sense, the movie Triumph of the Will produced by the German film-maker Leni Riefenstahl appears as the great representation of the Nazism esthetics, showing through images the main aspects of the National Socialist ideology. By working every symbolic and mythical reference presented in the German imagination with a great geniality, Riefenstahl built one of the most impacting instruments of distribution of the Hitler regime, showing to the world the ideals of the Third Reich and the strength of the New Germany.

O período analisado – 1933 a 1955 – foi marcado pela implantação do regime profissional no clube e pelo progressivo processo de fidelização de torcedores em todo território nacional. As campanhas de marketing das gestões dos presidentes José Bastos Padilha e Gilberto Cardoso serão interpretadas a fim de associar a construção da identidade do clube mais popular do Brasil aos símbolos e valores sociais correntes no imaginário político nacionalista divulgado pela propaganda estatal nas décadas de 1930 e 1940. / The study aims to investigate the factors that contributed to the popularity and the national influence of the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo. The period – 1930 to 1955 – was marked by the implementation of professionalism and by the gradual process of loyalty of fans nationwide. Marketing campaigns in efforts of presidents José Bastos Padilha and Gilberto Cardoso will be interpreted to involve the construction of the identity of Brazil’s most popular club symbols and social values in the current political imaginary nationalist released by state propaganda in the 1930s and 1940s.

Por meio de uma etnografia digital, investigamos, no recorte de situações, quais imagens e fragmentos de narrativas (Walter Benjamin) foram criadas e disponibilizadas no ambiente online, compondo a tradução da experiência urbana de luta pelo espaço público da Praça da Estação, em Belo Horizonte. Depois da publicação de um decreto municipal proibindo a realização de eventos na praça, um blog anônimo convoca uma reunião que acaba culminando em uma manifestação lúdico-festiva, a Praia da Estação. Pudemos notar diferentes momentos nos modos de fazer a Praia da Estação, entre a praça e as plataformas de registro e compartilhamento de dados, fabulando outros imaginários políticos, no decorrer dos anos. Percebemos que regimes de sensorialidades (Jacques Rancière) diversificados entraram em circulação na rede de sentidos da Praça da Estação, dando a ver múltiplos posicionamentos éticos em um jogo de disputas, dissensos e agonismos que se renovam continuamente. Notamos também que é preciso estar atento aos modos de registrar e produzir memória no uso das redes sociais digitais, espaços que têm éticas diferentes de modos de fazer resistência. O modo de operação do mercado vem contaminando as plataformas para disponibilização de fragmentos de narrativas, textos, imagens, sons, audiovisuais e multimeios, acessados pelos grupos e movimentos de resistência política urbana. / This research intents to understand if and how there would be an overcoming of the containment of political imaginaries (Ana Clara Torres Ribeiro) in the city, by the uses and appropriation of new technologies of information and communication associated with the internet and the nets of urban sociabilities. Through digital ethnography we investigated, with the chosen situations, which images and fragments of narratives (Walter Benjamin) were created and made available online, composing the translation of an urban experience’s struggle for the public space of Station Square, in Belo Horizonte. After the publication of a municipal decree prohibiting the realization of any events in the square, an anonymous blog calls a meeting that culminated in a festive and ludic protest, the Station’s Beach, (Praia da Estação). We could note different moments in the way to create the Station’s Beach, between the square and plataforms recording and sharing data, fictionalizing other political imaginaries along the years. We perceived that sensory regimes (Jacques Rancière) diversified were put into circulation in the net sense of the Station’ Square, showing multiples ethical positions in a game of disputes, dissents and agonisms that are being constantly renovated. Also, we noticed that it is necessary to be aware of different possibilities of recording and producing memory through the use of social digital nets, spaces that have different ethics of creating resistance. The operation mode of the market is contaminating platforms, making available fragments of narratives, texts, images, sounds, audiovisual and multimedia pieces, accessed by the groups and political urban resistance movements.

O trabalho focaliza as ponderações sobre cidadania e democracia contidas no objeto de estudo: as tiras cômicas da Turma da Mafalda, criadas por Quino. As tiras cômicas como mídia que produz e é produzida pela opinião pública extemporaneamente. O objetivo central é capturar o que as tiras cômicas dizem sobre o consciente coletivo do cidadão e examinar como o criador pensa o imaginário político e o socializa. Mais especificamente, objetiva-se: identificar o teor político implícito nas tiras cômicas da Mafalda; mapear o que as tiras estão reproduzindo de imaginário social representativo de um segmento desta sociedade e apontar que sentimentos transparecem sobre o governo, a humanidade, as políticas públicas, sua condição enquanto cidadão. Registrar, através de uma análise fundamentada na ciência política e em áreas afins, as contribuições políticas das tiras cômicas e suas mensagens a respeito dos enunciados de cidadania e democracia. Objetiva-se, ademais, evidenciar outra fonte de conhecimento político para além das abordagens que privilegiam as questões de ordem institucional e sociológico-estrutural. A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa com fins exploratórios e orienta-se pela técnica de análise de conteúdo. Os resultados do estudo demonstram que o cenário de representação política, inscrito nos conteúdos das mensagens das tiras cômicas da Turma da Mafalda, apontam sugestões de mudança política via alteração de valores sociais e da cultura política. Este mesmo cenário sugere a institucionalização de outras práticas a serem seguidas pelas instituições políticas. / The work focuses the balances on citizenship and democracy in the study subject: the Mafalda comics strips created by Quino. The comic strips as media that produces and is produced by the public opinion spontaneously. The main objective is to capture what the comic strips says on collective conscientious of the citizen and to investigate how the creator think about the politician imaginary and socializes it. The specifics objectives: to identify the implicit politician substance in the comic strips of the Mafalda; to map what the strips are reproducing of imaginary social representative of a segment of this society and pointing that feelings that growing up on the government, the humanity, the public politics, its condition while citizen. To bring up the contributions of the comic strips to the construction process of the citizenship and democracy. Objective, furthermore, to evidence another source of knowledge politician it stops beyond the boarding that privilege the questions of institutional and sociological-structural order. The research is of qualitative nature with exploratory ends and is oriented for the technique of content analysis. The results of the study demonstrate that the scene of politics representation, enrolled in the contents of the messages of the comic strips of the Group of the Mafalda, points suggestions of politics changes through alteration of social values and the culture politics. A presente tese de doutorado versa sobre encontros e aproximações de imaginários políticos e religiosos na Argentina, no Brasil e no Uruguai, Sobretudo, enfoca-se neste trabalho as imbricações existentes entre o campo político e o campo religioso por ocasião dos processos eleitorais ocorridos em Porto Alegre (BR), Buenos Aires (AR) e Montevidéu (UY), nos anos de 2008 e 2009. Utilizamos a ideia de um esquema tetraédrico conceitual (ETC) sobre o qual interagem três variáveis consideradas, quais sejam: as representações individuais e coletivas (RIC), a memória individual e coletiva (MIC) e os imaginários políticos e religiosos (IRP), que operam sobre um meio comum que denominamos como matriz cultural cisplatina (MCC). Neste sentido, para a realização do presente estudo utilizamos da etnografia multisituada e de inserções constantes em campo nas três cidades mencionadas, onde realizamos entrevistas com indivíduos ligados a diferentes expressões religiosas e tendências políticas. Interessou-nos apreender quais são os aportes comuns existentes nas três cidades e em que medida, estes, facilitam o processo de transnacionalização religiosa. Da mesma forma importa-nos considerar como religiões tidas como tipicamente brasileiras, ao atravessarem as fronteiras nacionais em direção ao Uruguai e a Argentina, levam consigo formas de ser e estar no político que nestes locais são reproduzidas no interior de redes de interação existentes entre pastores e pais-de-santo destes três países. / This thesis deals with encounters and approaches of political and religious imaginaries in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. Especially, this work focuses on the imbrications between political and religious fields on the occasion of electoral processes that took place in Porto Alegre (BR), Buenos Aires (AR) and Montevideo (UY), in 2008 and 2009. Also, we use the idea of a tetrahedral conceptual scheme (ETC) in which three considered variables interact, namely: the individual and collective representations (RIC), the individual and collective memory (MIC) and the religious and political imaginaries (IRP) which operate on a common medium that we call as “cisplatin” cultural matrix (MCC). In this sense, for the accomplishment of the present study we use multi-situated ethnography and constant insertions in field in the three mentioned cities, where we carried on interviews with individuals connected to different religious expressions and political tends. We were interested in understanding what are the common inputs existing in the three cities and to what extent they facilitate the process of religious transnationalization. Similarly, we are concerned to consider how religions that are understood as typically Brazilian, taken as they cross national boundaries toward Uruguay and Argentina, carry with themselves ways of being in the political, which in this places are reproduced within the networks of interaction between “pastores” and “pais-de-santo” of these three countries.

There were several changes in postmodern society that passed to dispose of the media space, especially the broadcast media, mainly the television, as a fundamental source of information, entertainment and visibility. Being aware about the media possibilities, the political actor has developed a strategic game based on spectacle and administration of his visibility, acting and spreading from that huge media stage, archetypal images carefully constructed. So, this study aims to analyze the politic spectacle phenomenon in Paraiba State broadcasting, reflecting about the Cabo Branco TV stance in one of the most heated political disputes of Paraiba State that culminated with Cassio Cunha Lima victory. Therefore, this work starts of an interdisciplinary approach and analyzes the final debate video among the candidates for governor of Paraiba, in the 2006 elections. The study is based on communication, sociology and politics theories and studies of the collective imaginary. Complementing this exhibition, there are some newspapers stories published by O Norte newspaper, as well as articles of the Brazilian Electoral Law, whose attempt to regulate the actions of the media have been a constant throughout the history of elections in Brazil. Thus, we seek in the theoretical framework proposed bring out clarifications about the possibility of a strategic use of image, verbal and manipulative conduct in 2006 s debate. So, it is questioned about this broadcast the intention to manage differently, the two government candidates visibility in that year on a space delimitated by audiovisual field. / A complexa relação que envolve os campos da comunicação e da política, tendo como pano de fundo a busca pelo poder, encontrou, na modernização da tecnologia e dos meios de comunicação, o ambiente propício para o seu desenvolvimento. Várias foram as transformações na sociedade pós moderna, que passou a dispor do espaço midiático, sobretudo dos meios de comunicação audiovisuais, principalmente a televisão, como fonte fundamental de informação, entretenimento e visibilidade. Ciente das possibilidades do meio, o ator político desenvolveu um jogo estratégico baseado na espetacularização e na administração da sua visibilidade, atuando e difundindo, a partir desse imenso palco midiático, imagens arquetípicas cuidadosamente construídas. Então, o presente estudo propõe-se a analisar o fenômeno da espetacularização da política no meio televisivo paraibano e refletir a postura do veículo TV Cabo Branco, numa das disputas políticas mais acirradas do Estado da Paraíba, que culminou com a vitória de Cássio Cunha Lima. Portanto, esta dissertação parte de uma abordagem interdisciplinar ao analisar o vídeo do último debate entre os candidatos ao governo do Estado da Paraíba, nas eleições de 2006. O estudo é baseado nos teóricos da comunicação, da sociologia, da política e dos estudos do imaginário coletivo. Complementa essa exposição, algumas matérias publicadas no jornal O Norte, assim como artigos da Lei Eleitoral Brasileira, cuja tentativa de regularização da atuação dos meios de comunicação tem sido uma constante ao longo da história das eleições no Brasil. Desse modo, busca-se, à luz do referencial teórico proposto, trazer à tona elucidações sobre a possibilidade do uso estratégico da imagem, da oralidade e da condução manipulativa no debate de 2006. Logo, questiona-se o intuito do veículo em questão a ajudar a gerir, de forma diferenciada, a visibilidade dos dois candidatos ao governo do estado naquele ano, no espaço delimitado pela Audiovisualidade.
