Komandinio darbo efektyvinimas: Šiaulių regiono pataisos inspekcijos atvejis / Teamwork effectiveness: Correctional Inspectorate of the case: business administration

Bakalauro baigiamajame darbe nagrinėjamas Komandinio darbo efektyvinimas: Šiaulių regiono pataisos inspekcijos atvejis. Darbe atlikta mokslinės literatūros analizė. Pirmame darbo skyriuje atlikta komandinio darbo sampratos, komandinio darbo efektyvinimo viešajame sektoriuje, viešojo ir privataus sektoriaus bendradarbiavimo, Naujojo viešojo valdymo ir Gero valdymo principų analizė. Darbe panaudotas kiekybinis tyrimas, buvo parengtos anoniminės anketos ir kokybinis tyrimas, buvo parengtas pusiau struktūruotas interviu. Tyrimu buvo nustatyta, kad komandos nariai bendradarbiauja vieni su kitais, dalinasi idėjomis, tačiau iškilus problemoms komandos nariai nesugeba vieningai jų išspręsti, todėl galima daryti prielaidą, kad komandos narių bendravimas daro įtaką problemų sprendimo efektyvumui ir santykiams komandoje. Daugiau nei trečdalis tyrime dalyvavusių respondentų teigė, kad komanda yra nelanksti ir komandos nariai dažnai konfliktuoja, todėl galima daryti prielaidą, kad stereotipiškas ir nelankstus komandos požiūris į aplinkybes skatina konfliktinių situacijų atsiradimą, kurias komandos nariams sunkiai pavyksta išspręsti, todėl prastėja darbo kokybė ir veiklos rezultatai. Vadovas teigė, kad nelankstumą lemią pačių žmonių nesugebėjimas lanksčiai mąstyti bei kritiškai vertinti savo sugebėjimus bei nuostatas, keliamo tikslo turinio paviršutiniškas supratimas. Darbo pabaigoje buvo pateiktos išvados ir praktinės rekomendacijos. / Bachelor's work deals with the teamwork promotion possibilities in Šiauliai region correction inspection. The aim of this research is to find out the factors which influence the teamwork efficiency rates. From the theoretical point of view, the paper surveys teamwork promotion in the public sector, application of teamwork, and the application of the new public administration and good governance principles in the public sector. In the paper was used a quantitative research, anonymous questionnaires and a qualitative research were prepared together with a semi-structured interview. The research has shown that the members of a team collaborate with each other, share their ideas, but if problems arise, they are not able to solve them unanimously; thus it can be assumed that communication between team members influences the efficiency of problem solving and the relations in a team. More than one third respondents claimed that the team is inflexible and the team members conflict frequently, and so it can be assumed that a stereotypical and inflexible team attitude towards circumstances prompts feuding situations, which team members find difficult to deal with and, consequently, the quality and the performance of work declines. The team leader admitted that inflexibility is also caused by people’s inability to think flexibly and critically evaluate their own capabilities and attitudes, and the superficial understanding of the objective content. Valstybinės darbo inspekcijos kompetencija yra tiksliai apibrėžta Valstybinės darbo inspekcijos įstatyme. Akivaizdu, kad jos funkcijos yra plačios. Atsižvelgiant į tai darbe akcentuotas dėmesys į darbuotojų saugos ir sveikatos pažeidimus, nelegalaus darbo reiškinių prevenciją, darbo apmokėjimo įmonėse kontrolę, darbo laiko apskaitos pažeidimus bei vykdomą aktyvią, kryptingą visuomenės konsultavimo ir informavimo veiklą. Magistrinio darbo tikslas - atskleisti Valstybinės darbo inspekcijos kompetencijos ypatumus, išanalizuoti pagrindines jos funkcijas, jų įgyvendinimą, o taip pat išskirti Lietuvos teisės teorijoje ir praktikoje kylančias problemas, teisiškai jas įvertinti, bei pasiūlyti jų sprendimo variantus. Savo veikloje Valstybinė darbo inspekcija taiko įvairius kontrolės ir prevencijos būdus: inspektavimą, darbdavių, juos atstovaujančių ar įgaliotų asmenų mokymą ir konsultavimą. Siekdama optimaliai spręsti darbuotojų saugos ir sveikatos bei darbo įstatymų problemas ji vis labiau įtvirtina konsultavimu, informaciniu dialogu grindžiamus santykius su darbdaviais ir darbuotojais. Valstybinės darbo inspekcijos veikla ir sukaupta praktika leidžia formuoti ir keisti darbo teisę. / The competence of the State Labor Inspectorate is precisely defined in the State Labor Inspection Law. It is clear that its function is wide. Considering this, the attention in my work has been focused on occupational safety and health violations, prevention of illegal employment effects, control companies pay, working time accounting irregularities and also active and purposeful management of public consultation and conveyance. The aim of master’s work is to highlight the features of the implementation of the State Labor Inspectorate, to analyze its main features, their implementation, as well as to distinguish theory and practice problems of Lithuanian law, to evaluate them legally and to propose the solutions. In its activities the State Labor Inspectorate applies different control and prevention methods: inspection, training and consulting of employers, their representatives or attorneys. In order to tackle employees’ health and safety, and employment law problems, it introduces more and more consulting, information dialogue-based relations with employers and workers. State Labor Inspectorate activity and accumulated practice allows to shape and modify the labor law.

The body of a person, assumption of bodily inviolability is the inherent matter acknowledged all over the world. Therefore each person has an inherent right to decide on any actions related to its body.By giving consent a person exercised his right to decided on any effect on his body. The problems caused by the inappropriate way of giving consent show the gaps of the legal acts, the problems of their implementation, possibilities of their improvement, etc.The cases when the person's right to inviolability and integrity of the person is violated presuppose the discussion on the issue of legal responsibility. In order to exercise one’s right to protection of the infringed right, it is necessary to know the institution where one should apply. It is necessary to emphasize that not only the court may guarantee the appropriate protection of the right. The main pre-trial institutions, which examine the complaints concerning the damage caused by the infringement of right to inviolability and integrity of the person, are the Commission and the Inspectorate.Thus, the protection of the right to inviolability and integrity of the person is not only the application to any institution for indemnification. This is a certain process, which starts from the meaning of the concept of this right. The content of this right sets the limits, which may not be outreached by the other person.

The following essay examines if five Swedish textbooks aimed for religious studies in upper secondary school might show similar flaws to those presented by the Swedish Schools Inspectorate in their review of religious studies conducted in 2012. The method used in this essay is a qualitative study of Swedish textbooks influenced by Lantz definition of wide and thin ethics. This in practice means that I have analysed the five Swedish textbooks using thin and broad ethics while conducting the analysis of the five. The purpose of the essay was to see if the flaws presented in “Mer än vad du kan tro” regarding ethics and moral education might be present in Swedish textbooks as well. My essay shows that four out of the five Swedish textbooks included in the study show signs of the flaws presented in “Mer än vad du kan tro” and that the books apply thin and broad ethics to a varying degree.

Skolinspektionens roll som granskande myndighet och granskningarnas effekter på skola, lärare och undervisning kan studeras från flera olika perspektiv. I denna studie ligger fokus på Skolinspektionens tematiska kvalitetsgranskningar. Med utgångspunkt i en Foucault-inspirerad diskursanalys undersöks vilka diskurser om lärare som konstrueras av Skolinspektionens tematiska kvalitetsgranskningar gällande undervisning i grundskolan mellan år 2014 - 2018? Dessutom diskuteras hur de framträdande diskurserna kan förstås utifrån dess kontext som en del av ett växande granskningssamhälle. Studiens resultat visar att det går att uppfatta tre framträdande diskurser – diskursen om lärarens förmåga, diskursen om lärarens kunskap och kompetens och diskursen om lärarens kollegiala samarbete. Samtliga dessa tre konstrueras som en konsekvens av den mer övergripande diskursen om den framgångsrika undervisningen. I studiens resultatdiskussion problematiseras dessa diskurser när de sätts i relation till det växande granskningssamhället, den marknadsstyrda skolan (genom New Public Management) och skollagens skrivning om utbildning på vetenskaplig grund. I studien argumenteras för att de diskurser som konstrueras i Skolinspektionens skrivningar samtliga bär spår av just dessa tre perspektiv som i studien kallas för diskursiva formationer. / The role of the Swedish Schools Inspectorate as an auditing authority and the effect of the audits on teachers, schools and teaching could be studied from various perspectives. In this study, the thematical quality audits from the Swedish Schools Inspectorate are in focus. Based on a Foucault-inspired discourse analysis, the discourses constructed in the thematical quality audits a regarding compulsory school during the years 2014-2018 are examined. Furthermore, the understanding of the constructed discourses is discussed relative to the audit community being their context. The result of the study shows that three main discourses could be seen as being constructed through the studied material. The discourse about the teacher skills, the discourse about the teacher knowledge and qualifications and the discourse about the teacher cooperativeness. All three are constructed as a consequence of the discourse about the successful teaching. In the study, the three discourses are also discussed relative to the growing audit community, the market-driven school (through New Public Management) and the scientific basis on which all education should be based according to the education act. The study argues that there are traces of these three perspectives in the discourses that are possible to view as constructed in the audits.

The medico-legal investigation of death in custody - a review of cases admitted to the Pretoria Medico-Legal Laboratory, 2007-2011

The universally controversial issue of deaths in custody is especially pertinent to South Africa. This study was prompted due to the increasingly diminishing ability for a concerted effort at tackling this issue by all parties involved. The 5 year retrospective, descriptive case audit performed at the Pretoria Medico-Legal Laboratory aimed to evaluate the current medico-legal investigation of deaths in custody in Pretoria, South Africa. Over half of the deaths (52%) occurred as a result of police action, 30% in police custody and 18% in correctional services custody. Gunshot wounds and hangings were the number 1 and 2 most common causes of death, respectively, with homicide and suicide being the 2 most common manners of death, respectively. The principal conclusion from the results is the presence of a flawed and malfunctioning medico-legal investigation system. Fastighetsmäklarens praktik : En studie på svenska mäklarbyråer / The real estate agent's internship : A study of Swedish real estate agencies

Praktik medför möjligheter till en förståelse av mäklarbranschen samt vilka färdigheter som krävs för att vara verksam i den aktuella yrkesgrenen. Fastighetsmäklarinspektionen ställer krav på att 10 veckors praktik ska vara genomfört innan studenten får vara verksam som mäklare i Sverige. Detta krav är dock ospecificerat i jämförelse med den praktik som exempelvis sjuksköterskor genomför, vilket lämnar utrymme för mäklarbyråer att utforma praktiken mer fritt. Samtidigt finns det ett stort antal nyregistrerade mäklare som väljer att byta karriär enligt statistik. Denna studie har utformats i syfte att försöka förstå hur mäklarbyråer omvandlar Fastighetsmäklarinspektionens allmänna råd i praktiken, samt hur praktikanter upplevt praktikupplägget. En kvalitativ undersökning har genomförts genom intervjuer med sju olika respondenter. Studien visar att praktikperioden ser olika ut anhängig av var studenten praktiserar trots Fastighetsmäklarinspektionens allmänna råd för praktikens utformning, vilket i sin tur påverkar praktikanten. Därtill finns det bland samtliga intervjuade praktikanter en viss osäkerhet avseende arbetsutövandet efter praktikperioden, samtidigt som det också visar sig att det finns brister i kvalitetsutvecklingen gällande praktikupplägget hos mäklarbyråerna. / Internships provide opportunities for an understanding of the real estate brokerage industry and the skills required to be active in the profession in question. The Swedish Estate Agents Inspectorate(FMI)has set a requirement that a 10-week internship must be completed before the student can be active as a real estate agent in Sweden. However, this requirement is unspecified in comparison with the internship that, for example, nurses have, which leaves room for real estate agencies to shape the internship. At the same time, there are a number of newly registered real estate agents who choose to change careers according to statistics. This study has been designed to try to understand how real estate agencies transform the FMI’s general advice into practice, and how trainees have experienced the internship. A qualitative survey was conducted through interviews with 7 different respondents.  The study showed that the internship period looks different depending on where the student does the internship despite the FMI’s general advice for the design of the internship, which in turn affects the trainee. In addition, there is a lack of knowledge after the internship period for all interns, at the same time as the quality development regarding the internship structure in the real estate agencies, is lacking

Historiebruk som historiemedvetande i den mångkulturella skolan / Uses of History as Historical Consciousness in the Multicultural School

The first aim of this SAG is to present and study three different researchers: Dahl (2021),Thorp (2016) and Johansson (2012) on how the subject of the use of history can beimplemented into history teaching and evolve students' way of thinking towards a betterhistorical consciousness. The second aim of this paper is to reflect on how the term uses ofhistory can be best implemented in a multicultural classroom. The third aim is to determinehow the terms use of history, historical consciousness and multiculturalism is defined inacademic research. To make these definitions we used the researchers Aronsson (2002),Karlsson (1999), Nordgren (2006, 2016), Rüsen (2004), Jeismann (1979), Koselleck (2004),Jensen (2003) and Runblom (2006). The material we have been using are doctoraldissertations and licentiate degrees which have been gathered from the digital platformsResearchgate, ERIC and DiVA. In our paper’s result the focus has been to present and reflectthe theoretical approaches that each researcher has obtained through their respective studiesregarding multicultural education, uses of history and historical consciousness. These resultsbecame the basis of a discussion of advantages and disadvantages regarding the optimal wayto construct an education plan for teachers. In our conclusion we presented the case that noneof the researchers' work was complete in itself and can be used in conjunction with each otherto better create a whole sided perspective on the best plan for history teaching. We also cameto the conclusion that terms uses of history, historical consciousness and multiculturalismcan be defined in a variety of ways. There are some disputes between each researcher in howthe relation between historical consciousness and uses of history can be defined. Thoughmost of them agree that multiculturalism includes a variety of aspects such as normality,individuality and that creation of identity is a big part of the multicultural classroom.
