Návrh testové sestavy pro dlouhodobé sledování vrcholových závodníků v karate / Design of test set for long-term monitoring of top-level karate karate athletes.

Pešek, Adam January 2019 (has links)
Title: Design of test set for long-term monitoring of top-level karate karate athletes. Objectives: The aim of this work is to design the test set for long-term monitoring of the top-level karate athletes. Methods: A total of 26 probands (10 women and 16 men) aged 18-26 years were included in the research. Everyone has practiced karate for at least 2 years and they are holders of a minimal green belt. A total of 10 motor tests were included in the designed test set. Selected 7 tests from this test set were tested by the test-retest method. Pearson's correlation coefficient was used to determine reliability and objectivity. Results: Modified Bass test (rrel=0,83, robj=0,94), repeated punches and blocks gedanbarai + choku cuki (rrel=0,82, robj=0,95), repeated mawashigeri kicks (rrel=0,93, robj=0,97), shuttle run 30x10 m (rrel=0,83), straight two arms medicine ball throw from heiko dachi stance (rrel=0,91), knee to wall touch (rrel=0,97), height of jokogeri kick (rrel=0,97). Keywords: karate, kata, the structure of sport performance, testing, test set

An Assessment of Thermal Preference of Two Species of Knob-tailed Geckos, Nephrurus levis and N. laevissimus, at Uluru Kata-Tjuta National Park

Hays, Brenton J., Bidwell, Joseph R., Dittmer, Drew E. 01 January 2019 (has links)
Nocturnal lizards are often active at temperatures that are sub-optimal for physiological functioning, a phenomenon that has been referred to as the ‘nocturnal paradox’. The purpose of this study was to investigate the general habitat and thermal preference of two species of nocturnal gecko in the genus Nephrurus with a focus on differences between preferred body temperatures determined under laboratory conditions and those measured in animals at the time of field collection. The Smooth Knob-tailed gecko (Nephrurus levis) and the Pale Knob-tailed Gecko (N. laevissimus) inhabit the desert environment of Uluru Kata-Tjuta National Park in the Northern Territory of Australia. Habitat preferences were determined by documenting capture locations for these species while thermal preferences were determined using laboratory-based thermal gradients. Analysis of habitat use demonstrated a significant difference in habitat preference between the two species. Nephrurus levis was most often in Spinifex sandplain and mulga shrubland and N. laevissimus was most often found around sand dune habitats. Fieldactive body temperatures of both species ranged from 14.5 °C to 32.2 °C and were significantly correlated with air and ground temperature at the time of capture. The thermal preference (Tpref) of N. levis (mean day Tpref mid = 29.1 °C and mean night Tpref 24 = 28.2 °C, n = 19) and N. laevissimus (mean day Tpref mid = 29.5 °C and mean night Tpref 24 = 27.8 °C, n = 27) were not significantly different, although both species exhibited significantly higher daytime and night-time preferred body temperatures than body temperatures observed in the field. Body size did not affect thermal preference for either species. As such, the thermal preferences of these species support the concept of the nocturnal paradox. Additionally, it has been suggested that the characteristic swollen tail tip displayed by all Nephrurus species may play a role in assessing the thermal environment. While not investigated extensively here, combined data for both species demonstrated that individuals oriented their tail toward the heat source in thermal gradients significantly more than expected if orientation were random.

When e-commerce companies go from caterpillar to butterfly : A study of how small e-commerce companies can improve order picking and return process from a Lean perspective.

Yousefi Mojtahedi, Ali, Samuelsson Larsson, Martin, Andersson, Sebastian, Rosell, Marcus January 2021 (has links)
Keywords: E-commerce, Order process, Return process, Order picking, Waste, Lean production, Process flowchart, Poka Yoka, 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kata. Introduction: To sell products on the internet, it is important to be at the forefront of internal routines and processes to not be overtaken by a competitor. Small e-commerce companies do not have the same resources to implement autonomous processes to the same extent as large e- commerce companies, therefore this study examines the shortcomings in the order picking and return process for small e-commerce companies and how these shortcomings can be remedied from a Lean perspective to have an opportunity to compete on the market. Purpose: The aim of this study is to develop different opportunities for improvement from a Lean perspective by analyzing different e-commerce companies, focused on its processes within order picking and return management. Method: The study has been done as a qualitative case study with a deductive approach and a critically realistic approach. The primary data has been collected through semi-structured interviews and observations. Conclusion: Shortcomings as motion, defects, waiting and non-utilized potential have been identified in the order pick process and return process. Suggested Lean techniques as 5S, Kaizen & Kata and six sigma have been presented as methods for improving the identified shortcomings that occur in these processes for e-commerce companies.

Effektiviseringsarbete av ett produktionsflöde : -Med kundanpassade produkter / Efficiency work of a production flow : -With customized products

Iversen, Gabriela, Lundquist, Jonatan January 2015 (has links)

Ständiga förbättringar för konkurrenskraftig och hållbar utveckling : En fallstudie utförd på Hammarplast Consumer AB, Tingsryd / Continuous improvements for competitive and sustainable development : A case study performed at Hammarplast Consumer AB, Tingsryd

Thuresson, Sarah, Johansson, Malin January 2014 (has links)

The object of this research is the judo as body practice of the actor/dancer. A hypothesis presented in this paper is that judo includes useful techniques for training the actor/dancer looking through the lens of Theatrical Anthropology. The objective is to research the judo, both technical artifice as philosophical, elements that could enrich your state pre-expressive, which is building the Personal Kata. This proposal incorporates different theoretical and practical fields: judo and theater focus on containing the principles of judo in communion with those of Theatrical Anthropology. My experience as a judo teacher was taken as reference for the study because it represents the area on the philosophical and practical foundations of judo. About methodological procedures, we chose a qualitative approach, but it has a descriptive nature, into which was conducted a bibliographic gathering. Also, the field research, involving interviews and statements; and a laboratory of training, a title of experiment. For application of this training was selected a set of techniques of judo based on criteria such as: balance, energy, contrast-stretched body, organic.

Stories in the landscape : the sorry rock phenomenon and the cultural landscape of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park

Foxlee, Jasmine, University of Western Sydney, College of Arts, School of Social Sciences January 2008 (has links)
Each day the joint managers of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park receive packages of returned rocks and sand that have been removed from the landscape by visitors as a souvenir of the place. The returned objects are sent from people all over the world as the stories of this phenomenon travel well beyond the Park boundaries. Known within the Park as the ‘sorry rocks’, these returned objects and their accompanying letters of apology reflect the different ways in which people engage with the landscape and interpret their surrounds. In this research, the sorry rocks have been used as a medium for examining the complex relationships that exist between visitors, heritage management and interpretation particularly in cross-cultural settings that recognise Indigenous cultural heritage. Optimalizace krmné dávky vybraných druhů lemurů / Diet optimalisation of selected species of lemurs

ŽAHOUROVÁ, Petra January 2012 (has links)
Ring-tailed lemur Lemur catta, red ruffed lemur Varecia rubra and black and white ruffed lemur Varecia variegata belongs to the family Lemuridae, living at Madagaskar as endemits. In wildlife is folivorous and frugivorous food strategy at the both genus ? in the process g. Varecia is more frugivorous. Study was divided into two parts ? the first about ration of feeding chosen species of lemurs in several czech zoos and the second about ethology feeding behaviour lemurs in zoo Jihlava. For nutritional assessment were further chosen zoos Lešná, Jihlava, Ústí nad Labem, Ohrada and Chleby. From ration of feeding for chosen species of lemurs was counted average personal ration per day. This average was used to calculate nutritional values of dietary (fats, protein, carbohydrates, fiber, calcium, phosporus and iron) for each kind of menu or particularly day a week. For ethologic observation was made method of straight observation with used behaviour sampling ? scanning of a behaviour. Observation was done from July to December 2011 in whole extent 56 hours. Study solved out that ration of feeding are very different in each zoo like nutritional values of dietary and amount. In each zoo has larger ration of feeding Varecia rubra than Lemur catta. In average this diference beetwen that makes 144,25 g. Observation (zoo Jihlava) showed that Lemur catta spends foraging behaviour 19,75 minutes per day and handling 42,75 minutes per day in average. All in all they spending their feeding behavior only 62,5 minutes (1,04 hours) per day. Further more was discovered diference in length feeding behaviour when in their habitation more tree branches were. Adding branches to there increased length of feeding behaviour about of 22,67 minutes per day.
