MIMESE E REALIDADE EM O ANO DA MORTE DE RICARDO REIS / MIMESIS AND REALITY IN O ANO DA MORTE DE RICARDO REIS

Prevedello, Tatiana 17 November 2006 (has links)
The object of study is the book O ano da morte de Ricardo Reis, written by José Saramago, in which he articulates the imprecise limits between historical discourse and literary criation, looking for a sense in the reality representation, that strenghtens in an inter-discoursing and inter-textual based upon the truth of history and the truth of fiction . Mimesis, consequently, constructs itself as a representational activity that does not reflect the real world, but (un)realizes it from fictional theme. When involving man s artistic manifestation, it designates the creative exercise, corresponding to a way to represent the world. It was intended to investigate and interpret mimesis in the book, studying the relationship between the fictional world and the Portugal social-historical reality, specifically Lisbon in 1936. It was possible noticing that the character Ricardo Reis in (dis)sacralized from his poetic aura that surrounded the Fernando Pessoa heteronimous, when directly confronted with hostility of a world terrified by authoritarian regimes that ruled before the Second World War. In the text plan, the process of pre-configuration, configuration and reconfiguration of space and time, indicates that the past reality is present in the narrative, involving the character Ricardo Reis experiencing the labyrinths suggested from the Lisbon city, taken from the book The god of the labyrinth, and from news reported in the press. On this perspective, the book O ano da morte de Ricardo Reis has an interlocutor attitude towards historical reality , not restricted to a simple representation of past events in Portugal.

Mýtus literárního / The myth of the literary

Matysová, Daniela January 2016 (has links)
This diploma thesis is concerned with possible connection between literary theory of Wolfgang Iser and analytic philosophy of language. First of all I introduce analytic linguistic turn in general but the main part of thesis is dedicated to two opposite conceptions of language and interpretaton within the latter period of analytical movement. I want to explore Michael Dummett's and Donald Davidson's dispute over the role of conventions and questions about their indispensability in linguistic communication.Whereas their own opinions converge in view of the fact that influence of society on human thought is radically irreducible, there is great difference between their beliefs in the necessity of conception of rules inherent in social linguistic practice. My aim is to vindicate Davidson's theory of interpretation against Dummett's objections and then continue to discussing Iser's own theory of reading. Particularly I try to demonstrate that Iser's concept of literariness is based on Dummett's philosophical assumptions. In closing the main interest will be to reconsider if Iser's explanation of difference between literature and ordinary speech or document stands up to Davidson's challenge of Iser's entire treatment of linguistic practice. And, namely, if Davidson' philosophy of language can provide an...

Self-publishing elektronické literatury / Self-publishing Of Electronic Literature

Porsche, Lukáš January 2019 (has links)
This dissertation thesis deals with electronic self-publishing of literary fiction, i.e. its publishing by the authors themselves, without involving publishers. Support from big technology companies led to unprecedented growth of this type of publishing in the 2010s and electronic self-publishing has in some countries become one of the standard ways of publishing. In spite of its expansion, electronic self-publishing is affected by many problems. The most prominent one is comparatively lower quality of many independently published e- books, mainly caused by limited knowledge of the publishing process from the side of the authors, many of which are not proper acquainted with publishing practices. The activities that should an independent author perform during the publishing process are the same as those performed by a publisher. Due to complicated character of some of these activities, many independent authors outsource them to other parties, or do not perform them at all. In the Czech Republic, electronic self-publishing is relatively undeveloped. It is true that there has probably been hundreds or thousands e-books published independently and that the number of downloads of these books is in hundreds of thousands copies. On the other hand, majority of this literature is offered for free or for...

Естетика новинарске путописне репортаже у међуратној српској књижевности / Estetika novinarske putopisne reportaže u međuratnoj srpskoj književnosti / The aesthetics of journalistic travelogue reportage among the two world wars in Serbian literature

Duvnjak Radić Žaklina 28 September 2018 (has links)

/
Doktorska disertacija Estetika novinarske putopisne reportaže u međuratnoj srpskoj književnosti interpretativnim i komparativnim metodama utvrđuje postojanje estetskih intencija u ovom žanru, na primeru tekstova koje su pisali vodeći pisci srpske avangarde Miloš Crnjanski, Rastko Petrović, Stanislav Vinaver, kao i Rade Drainac i neki drugi tradicionalni pisci poput Dragiše Vasića, Stanislava Krakova i Grigorija Božovića.
