[en] CARE PRACTICES FOR CHILDREN WITH ASD IN THE CONTEXT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC / [pt] PRÁTICAS DE CUIDADOS DE CRIANÇAS COM TEA NO CONTEXTO DA PANDEMIA DA COVID-19LAURA SENGES CARRERAS 05 December 2022 (has links)
[en] The present dissertation aimed to understand the care processes of
parents with children on the autistic spectrum, how they were affected or changed
during the pandemic and how these parents dealt with the difficulties brought
about by social isolation. Therefore, an empirical study of qualitative design
was carried out. The study sought the participants experiences on how the
care practices of their children with ASD occurred during the pandemic,
especially during the period of social isolation. Five mothers with autistic
children aged between seven and 11 participated in the study, who
answered a sociodemographic questionnaire and a semi-structured
questionnaire. The interviews with the participants were carried out using the
ZOOM platform and the material collected was transcribed, transforming it into
textual material. For the analysis, the method of Bardin (2016) was used,
in which information collected was coded and categorized. The results found
suggest that, despite the challenges encountered in coping with a pandemic,
mothers were able to carry out proximal processes with their children; the
characteristics of ASD influence the way of care of these mothers and that there
was an aggravation in the emotional suffering of these mothers during the
pandemic period. The research had some limitations due to the pandemic
situation, like the number of participants, and further studies are suggested on
the possible effects of social isolation for these families, especially in relation to
the conduct of school institutions.

Previous issue date: 2006-12-07 / Facing the new women s role at family, work, knowledge production and society, the woman
today have a horizon of possibilities in front of her, which catch myths and traditional values.
The archaic and modern life styles living together in an imagination of a generation that
supported on the conquest coming from the women s rights movements reach to equilibrate
the sense of maternity with other personals interests. Under a systemic perspective, this work
proportioned understanding the experience of women s personal realization, witch is
comprehended by maternity and career, in a vitality acquisition phase. The experience of the
participants, women are among 23 and 35 years old, in married situation or living together
with their partners, showed through qualitative methods that maternity is a part of a personal
realization project, that embrace ambitions and personal plans. This way, the maternity is
delayed and takes a second moment of life, to happen after stability and secure conquest on
their professional career and satisfaction in relationships. The values and inheritance coming
from the origin families are connected with choices and life projects, making possible to see
how the traditional gender and post-modern questions influence the maternity plans,
sometimes in peace, sometimes in conflict. The maternity appears like a big decision, which
needs planning, because it mixture important moments: the moment that the woman can live
the conquest of space on public spheres and the moment that she can reveal hers spaces in the
private spheres. She doesn t forget too, that there are new spaces to reach that can be
O arcaico e o moderno convivem no
As heranças e

Previous issue date: 2008-08-14 / This study focus the binding behaviors between mother and baby in puerperal women, who has delivered her babies in the Labor Center of Amparo Maternal, in the city of São Paulo. His main goal is to describe the manifestations of binding behavior between mother and baby in the first time they're together after the labor and to analyse the function of holding in promoting this bind. The term holding is used as a context of caring and support the mother gives to her newborn baby, as well as the mother's family gives to herself. The psychoanalytical concepts about the puerperal-pregnant cycle(Winnicot,Maldonado,Szejer),the baby's contemporary theorists(Stern, Lichtenberg) and the body-mind approach of Wilhelm Reich in the prevention of health are the theoretical basis of this study. The data was obtained through video recording the mother-baby relationship and through semi directed clinic interviews with the puerperals. From the results, two different groups of mothers aroused, in respect to the holding, in two situations : From the interaction mother-baby, and from the interaction of the mother with her family. The study points out to the very important function of the family holding throughout pregnancy and how having holding after the labor promotes the binding between mother and the baby. This study contributes to the comprehension of the psychological assistance as a path to promote the biding, therefore widing the universe of interference in the pregnant-puerperal cycle to the families / Este estudo trata das manifestações de comportamento de vínculo mãe-bebê em puérperas que tiveram seus bebês em Centro de Parto no Amparo Maternal, na cidade de São Paulo.

[pt] CORPOS QUE SOFREM, CORPOS QUE LUTAM: MÃES E FAMILIARES DE VÍTIMAS DE VIOLÊNCIA LETAL DE ESTADO NO RIO DE JANEIRO, VULNERABILIDADE E LUTO PÚBLICO / [en] SUFFERING BODIES, STRUGGLING BODIES: MOTHERS AND RELATIVES OF VICTIMS OF LETHAL STATE VIOLENCE IN RIO DE JANEIRO, VULNERABILITY AND PUBLIC GRIEFNINA ALVES DE ALENCAR ZUR 05 May 2022 (has links)
A pesquisa
arena formada performativamente e passível a reformulações críticas. / [en] This dissertation analyzes the movements of mothers and family members of
victims of lethal State violence in Rio de Janeiro in their interaction with the State
responsible for the violation. Based on a theoretical approach that mobilizes urban
anthropology, public safety and sociology researchers who specifically study
gender violence and movements of mothers victims of State violence, such as
Adriana Vianna and Juliana Farias, articulating them with the theories of Judith
Butler and Donna Haraway about processes of embodiment, the work is based on
the testimonies of mothers and family members gathered from interviews and
focus groups. The dissertation proposes the struggle of these movements for
Memory, Truth, Justice and Reparation as a sphere of production of solidarity
networks that, collectively, by publicly exposing themselves, claim the sphere of
appearance and the grievability for their executed relatives, producing the claim
that their lives are worthy of recognition and protection. At the same time, the
research defends the ambivalence of the relationship between mothers and family
members and the State, which can be, at the same time, an environment of
violence and support, and understand that these movements, in their specific and
gendered demands to the The State, even though they mobilize norms and
representations that are structurally selective, reconfigure this space of
representation. The work concludes, then, that these movements carry out
important disputes and displacements in the State arena, which is not a
homogeneous arena, but an arena that is also performatively formed and
susceptible to critical reformulations.

[pt] QUANDO É NA FAVELA E QUANDO É NO ASFALTO: CONTROLE SOCIAL REPRESSIVO E MOBILIZAÇÕES ENTRE LUGARES DE LUTA / [en] WHEN IT S AT FAVELA AND WHEN IT S AT ASPHALT: REPRESSIVE SOCIAL CONTROL AND MOBILIZATIONS BETWEEN PLACES OF STRUGGLEBRENA COSTA DE ALMEIDA 14 January 2020 (has links)
[en] The thesis aims to contribute to the understanding of the relationship between mobilization and repressive social control, from a socio-spatial perspective, based on the 2013 protests cycle in the city of Rio de Janeiro and the movements of mothers and relatives of victims of state violence from the city s slums and suburbs. It is the result of a research experience in which it was possible to follow directly the dynamics of political mobilization and state repression developed during the 2013 demonstrations and, later, with the groups and movements carried out by the mothers and relatives of victims of state violence in Rio. It also comprises how their struggle around the public claim and the political elaboration of mourning and suffering for the loss of a loved one is constituted. It was noticed that during the cycle of protests a repressive logic of militarized interventions developed in both asphalt and favelas reached greater expressiveness in the public scene, as well as the protest events developed by social actors, in both contexts. In this sense, the approach understands the effects of the interactions between repression and mobilization and clarifying a whole set of repertoires, frameworks and modes of subjectivation that are produced, conserved and transformed over time, resulting on one hand, in the production of the criminalization of the enemy, which may be the insurgent and the undesirable of the city, and, on the other hand, in the production of symbolic and discursive practices, strategies and frames by the social actors who constitute the political struggle for their Voice and for their rights.
