Tautiškumo puoselėjimas meno kolektyve - multikultūrinės aplinkos veiksnys / The nurturance of nationality in the art group as a factor of multicultural environmentRazmienė, Jolanta 29 June 2009 (has links)
Meno kolektyvai yra sociokultūrinės aplinkos reiškiniai, kurių puoselėjimas ir išsaugojimas ypač ryškiai atspindi tautiškumą, jo koreguojamas nūdienos kultūros raidos tendencijas. Samtal, identiteter och positionering : Ungdomars interaktion i en mångkulturell miljö / Conversation, identities and positioning : The interaction of young people in a multicultural environmentEngblom, Charlotte January 2004 (has links)
This thesis concerns how identity among young people (aged 16-19) living in a multicultural area in Stockholm is made relevant. The aim is to analyse the identities that arise in situated interaction between young people and their peer group and with other people in their everyday life. The material consists of arranged four-party conversations, interviews and audio tapes made by the young people themselves of everyday activities at school and during their leisure time. In the study, identity is perceived as being made relevant thorough dialogue. Identity is also seen as a strategic and flexible tool available to the individual for positioning him- or herself in a particular situation and for expressing solidarity and distance on the micro level. A topic analysis of the arranged four-party conversations shows that the young people proceed following a global structure of topics, making it possible to discern a super topic for each conversation. The types of topics chosen show similarities and can be presented as ethnicity-related, school-related and related to the setting of the recording. The preoccupation with ethnicity-related topics is partly seen as a response to the investigation itself, making double positioning necessary for the participants. An analysis of the pronoun vi 'we' is aimed at making visible the groups that the young people include themselves in and their positioning vis-à-vis each other. The situationally inclusive 'we' and the situationally in- and exclusive 'we' are used to regulate and modify conversations. The extended inclusive 'we' makes categorisations like classmate, Swede and immigrant relevant. An analysis of the ethnifications shows that ethnic identities are closely connected to the micro level and arise in contrast to or in comparison with other participants or groups outside the conversations. Ethnic identities and school-related identities are often resisted in the material. Resistance is seen as an interactional way of levelling the unequal relations that categorisation produces. It is also considered a reflection of their shared reality being just as important as the differences generated by categorisation. An intra-individual study of three young people in different everyday situations provides evidence that ethnic identities are flexible, context-sensitive and made relevant depending to a large degree on the participants at the situation at hand.

Daugiakalbių ikimokyklinių įstaigų ugdymo kokybės vadybiniai aspektai / The quality of education at the multilingual preschool institution: aspects of managementOrlovska, Česlava 20 February 2013 (has links)
Multilingual institutions in our country is a widely spread phenomenon. Current institutions were mostly established after Lithuania restored its independence in 1990. These are most typical for Vilnius district, as two or three languages and cultures (Lithuanian, Russian and Polish) interact with each other. Considering the linguistic aspect, the situation at multilingual institution is quite complicated. Apparently, the problem of upbringing is not sufficiently explored. Therefore, the obvious lack of clear instructions prevents the proper insurance of the quality of education and smooth direction of management aspects. There is no clear and reliable data whether the services provided by multilingual preschool institutions satisfy parents‘ expectations and needs. The changes in nowadays life, require the implementation of new actions and methods to solve the problems emerging due to multilingual and multicultural social context.

Developing social interactions through outdoor education in multicultural preschool settings : Teachers’ perspectivesCsányi, Sarolta January 2018 (has links)
The aim of this study was to identify and investigate preschool teachers’ experiences and views on the role of outdoor education on social interactions. The research questions were: How do the teachers conceptualize outdoor activities’ role on social interactions in multicultural preschool settings? How do the teachers foster social interactions through outdoor education? What kind of challenges have the teachers faced regarding outdoor education in multicultural preschool groups? Semi-structured interviews were conducted with five preschool teachers from three different preschools in a multicultural suburb in southern Sweden. The results showed that – despite children’s possible aversions to engaging in activities in the outdoors - outdoor activities are supportive of the development of closer bonds within the group. According to the teachers interviewed, the natural settings bring calmness and openness, therefore this environment facilitates social interactions among children. The lack of strictly preplanned activities offer children opportunities to follow their interests and to have shared experiences through the discovery of nature. Their willingness for collaborative explorations is a basis for joint play, discussion and group work.
