O SER HUMANO COMO IMAGEM DE DEUS UMA ANÁLISE TEOLÓGICA DO DUALISMO ANTROPOLÓGICO NO DISCURSO RELIGIOSO DA COMUNIDADE CRISTÃ PAZ E VIDA / The Human being as image of god a theological analysis of anthropological dualism in the in the religious community speech christian peace and life

The theological emphasis on the unity of the human constitution, which biblical testimony indicates, contrasts with the historical experience of Christendom in which the body has always played a secondary role, a status that still remains in various religious groups, including current Brazilian Pentecostalism. In view of this reality, Pentecostalism establishes its foundations, faithful to its ecclesiastical context in the same Platonic tendency to value more what is usually called the "soul" and "spirit" than the body, despite the value of body healing, Corporeality in the liturgy and the logic of material prosperity also present in these religious experiences. In order to counter this view, the concept of integrated anthropology will be indicated, based on several authors, especially the theologian Alfonso Garcia Rubio. This concept is fundamentally characterized by the understanding that the human being is a unit. It is that concrete being that appears in all its corporeal dimensions, and the body must relate to the whole cosmos and other living beings making present in a world of relationships and not of exclusions and dichotomies. In this sense, we wonder to what extent the contribution of an integral theological anthropology can constitute a contribution to overcome the anthropological dualism in religious groups such as the Christian Community Peace and Life? The research indicates some theological paths of overcoming concepts of dualistic and reductionist nature of the human condition, in view of an integrated anthropology. As an overcoming of this dualism we suggest an incarnated spirituality where the body makes evident in all its relations and where the unitary experience of the human being as a concrete person. From the concept of Integrated Human, which seeks to overcome dualisms, it is hoped to offer the Christian Community Peace and Life, from its own experience, with all the ambiguities in it, a unitary perception of the human being.

Non-duality in Ken Wilber's integral philosophy : a critical appaisal and alternative physicalyst perspective of mystical consciousness

Jacobs, Jeremy John 02 1900 (has links)
Since the advent of human consciousness all manner of theoreticians from mystics to philosophers, and linguists to scientists have considered why and how it is that an individuated self seems to occupy or indwell a physical body. There is a common experiential sense, in other words, in which personal consciousness and our bodies are felt to be two different things. Two broad areas of opinion attempting to explain this apparent bifurcation are defined for the purpose of addressing this problem: Essentialists who variously maintain that there are non-physical properties inherent to all forms and functions of physicality; and Physicalists who claim that the extant universe as a multiplicity of complex material processes is the only reality. The respective natures of body and mind and the ways in which they relate has yielded an extraordinary variety of hypotheses within and between these two broad categories. In this thesis the dilemma is called the Hard Problem and it focuses particularly on the relationship between consciousness and the brain. Recently, Ken Wilber has constructed an Integral Philosophy which attempts a synergistic gradation of all possible genres of experience and knowledge into one cohesive scheme representing the total Reality. The culminating point of Wilber’s theory claims resolution of the Hard Problem, indeed of all appearances of duality, in the realisation of consummate emptiness in mystical consciousness. Wilber’s proposal therefore tenders a version of Essentialism since it implies that an Absolute principle is inherent to all existence. The problem explored in this study considers whether the epistemological architecture of Wilber’s Philosophy is coherent and consistent. Following a critical appraisal of Wilber’s system it is proposed that epistemological coherence is more likely to be achieved by retaining the ontology of consciousness and matter to only one kind. In this way the scientific protocols which Wilber imports to validate his truth-claims are protected from ontological confusion. Whether this non-dual Physicalism is adequate as a means of explaining consciousness, and particularly mystical consciousness, is moot. Perhaps there remains an inalienable quality in mysticism which will always elude our ability to apprehend it. / Christian Sprituality, Church History and Missiology / D. Th. (Christian Spirituality)

Ancestors : a challenge to the Oruuano Church of Namibia

Breure, Johan 11 1900 (has links)
Text in English / Oruuano is an Independent Church in Namibia founded in 1955 because of members of the Herero community breaking away from the Rhenish Mission Church. Oruuano has the same doctrinal position as the Evangelical Lutheran Churches. In all church services it uses the standard Lutheran liturgical forms and the Otjiherero Lutheran hymnal. Belief in the ancestors is strong among the Herero. It is centred around the holy fire that is found between the main house of the head man and the cattle's kraal. The church does not acknowledge the ancestors, but it allows its members to venerate their ancestors outside the church. The church's approach is that of tacit consent. This dissertation discusses this approach and concludes that Oruuano cannot remain silent on the ancestors any longer. Time has come to deal with it theologically, showing the supremacy of Christ, while integrating Herero traditional practices and spirituality with the worship and practice of Oruuano. / Christian Spirituality, Church History and Missiology / M.Th. Die dualistiese arbeidsmarkteorie

Uys, Marthina Dorathea 11 1900 (has links)
Text in Afrikaans / Summaries in English and Afrikaans / The orthodox school's explanation for wage differentials, unemployment and labour market discrimination and the policy measures which they proposed did not offer workable solutions to the problems of the day. During the late 1960s and early 1970s a group of American labour economists conducted field studies in American urban ghettos which resulted in the formulation of the dual labour market theory. In contrast with the orthodox approach, which emphasises free market forces and investment in human capital, the dual labour market theory focuses on the dual structure of the labour market. The labour market is divided between a primary (high-wage) and a secondary (low-wage) sector, with little or no mobility between the sectors. An oversupply of labour in the secondary sector and unemployment are the results. These labour market phenomena and dualism also characterise the South African labour market and should be taken into account when policy measures are formulated. To develop this thematic had been used three big pillars of different knowledge areas, but articulated between them; they are: Philosophy, Physical Education and Education. From a philosophical vision, they had been analyzed many subjects about the body and the situation of this one with the educational structures that exists, using especially the actual condition of Physical Education at School as support to accomplish this analysis. Having as an initial base the dualism and the rationalism represents the structural base of the educational scope, from this point, happen an increase in the reduction of the importance of the body and its movement in the educational structures was made reflections and discussions during the work development. Described for bibliographical and documentary survey, with description, exploration and analysis of official documents of the Brazilian education and endorsed by the authors of the reference from the related areas, this research presents a development of ideas that converge as much for the overcoming dualist human being vision, (that divides in opposing and not transposable polar regions body and soul, body and mind), as for a system that praises the full human development.(AU) / Esta pesquisa tem como foco central o estudo sobre a situação do aspecto corporal e do movimento humano no sistema educacional brasileiro.

Migração repetitiva entre o Brasil e o Japão / Repeated migration between Brazil and Japan

Lina Kojima 29 June 2009 (has links)
This dissertations idea originated from the previous research about dekasegi phenomenon and Shuttle Migration, which title was The Shuttle Migration of Brazilian Workers in Japan. Since Brazilian workers emigration to Japan, a so-called dekasegi phenomenon started, over 20 years have passed. And, this phenomenon has showed various changes. One of them is appearance of Shuttle Migration called Repeated Migration in this dissertation. The term refers to the migrated people who goes and comes back between residential locations in different countries, often repeating this movement. Many of Brazilian workers in Japan try to return to Brazil, but frequently they cant readapt and go away again. In this dissertation, well try to understand causes of this repeated movement through the historical and structural contexts of both countries.

Plotin et les gnostiques / Plotinus and the Gnostic challenge

Laissaoui, Patrick 15 December 2012 (has links)
This study accounts for the conflict between Plotinus and the Gnostics. The introductionportrays the protagonists, and describes the circumstances of their confrontation. The first partstudies the form of this exceptional controversy in the treaties of Plotinus, draws a parallelwith the controversy between the Christian Heresiologists and the Gnostics, and hypothesizesthat the later was not unknown to Plotinus. The subsequent parts explain the philosophy ofPlotinus and contrast it with the Gnostic doctrine in the cosmological, theological andanthropological domains. They present and analyse, in each of these areas, the fundamentalcritiques that Plotinus addresses to his opponents, accusing them of misunderstanding thenature of the realities that they deal with, of making speeches devoid of logic, and ofproposing no method to achieve their aims (salvation). The critiques of Plotinus against theGnostics constitute a defense of Platonism and of philosophy itself, and also of all the valuesthat underlie the thought of Plotinus.

Galy, Marion 04 December 2017 (has links)
The scattering of labour litigation in France between different first degree jurisdictions is often subject to criticism. The present thesis examines this complexity and goes beyond the preconception according to which the only solution resides in the unity of jurisdiction. That is achieved by using the notion of jurisdictional pluralism. That notion is therefore envisaged in a way that better respects the rights of the citizen. Indeed, pluralism implies limiting the chances of seeing conflicts of jurisdiction arise while simultaneously unifying litigation resolution that is presently split between different jurisdictions. Confronting labour litigation as it exists today to such requirements reveals that jurisdictional pluralism, even though possible in labour law, has to be restricted. Albeit fully applicable in the judicial order its implementation appears to be more difficult within the jurisdictional dualism. Therefore, unity of jurisdiction will need to be sought in litigations where applying pluralism appears impossible.
