Gustafsson, Allis, Nilsson, Sara January 2017 (has links)
Genom en kvantitativ forskningsansats fick deltagarna besvara en enkät innefattande mätinstrumenten: Godin Leisure- Time Exercise Questionnaire, The Passion Scale, Drive for muscularity scale.

Biological, serological and molecular characterization of an isolate of passion fruit woodiness virus (pwv) that infect some cucurbit plants systemically.

Gioria, Ricardo 12 September 2003 (has links)
This work presents results of the biological, serological and molecular characterization of a potyvirus that causes leaf mottling on passion fruit and infects some cucurbit plants experimentally. This potyvirus was initially observed in extracts of passion fruit leaves and in ultra thin sections of infected tissue of Cucurbita pepo L. cv. Caserta, examined in the electronic microscope. Besides flexuous filamentous particles, lamellar inclusions, characteristic of species of potyvirus, were observed in infected tissue. After purification from infected passion fruit leaves, virus particles were dissociated for the molecular characterization of their main components. The viral RNA showed a molecular weight of approximately 10000 bp. The molecular weight of the coat protein was nearly 32 kDa. Policlonal antibody, produced in rabbit, reacted with the homologous antigen, as well as with Passion fruit woodiness virus (PWV), in PTA-ELISA. No reaction was observed with Papaya ringspot virus - type W and Zucchini yellow mosaic virus, two potyviruses usually found infecting plants in the Cucurbitaceae family. The antibody against PWV reacted with the passion fruit mottling potyvirus. When three isolates of the passion fruit leaf mottling potyvirus (M1, M2 and M3) and two isolates of PWV were separately inoculated in 37 vegetable species, it was verified that all the species infected with the PWV isolates were also infected with the isolates of the passion fruit leaf mottling potyvirus. Isolates M1, M2 and M3, however, were also capable to infect systemically plants of zucchini squash cv. Caserta and hybrid squash Tetsukabuto, which were not infected with the PWV isolates. Transmission tests showed that the M1 isolate of passion fruit leaf mottling potyvirus was efficiently transmitted from infected plants of passion fruit, zucchini squash, Phaseolus vulgaris cv. BT 2 and Crotalaria juncea to plants of the same species by means of mechanical inoculation. Efficient transmission was also obtained when the aphids Myzus persicae and Aphis gossypii were used as vectors. However, the transmission efficiency was influenced by the plant source of inoculum. When zucchini squash was used as a source of inoculum, the transmission only occurred for plants of the same specie, independent of the method of inoculation. Cross protection tests with isolates of the passion fruit leaf mottling potyvirus and PWV, in plants of C. juncea, together with the analysis of the nucleotide sequences of the coat protein (CP) gene and the 3' non translated region (NTR) of the isolates M2 and M3, indicated that the leaf mottling potyvirus has high identity with the PWV present in São Paulo State. As compared with other species of the genus Potyvirus, isolates of both potyviruses showed high identity with the CP gene and 3' NTR of Cowpea aphid-borne mosaic virus (CABMV). This result corroborates previous report regarding to the identity between Brazilian PWV isolates and CABMV and it points for the need of an alteration in the nomenclature of the virus species frequently associated to passion fruit woodiness in Brazil.

Hilaire de Poitiers questionné par l'humanité souffrante du verbe incarné / Hilary's (of Poitiers) views concerning the suffering human nature of the incarnate word

Gil, Roger 26 October 2015 (has links)
It is particularly in Chapter X of De Trinitate that Hilary of Poitiers places his distinction of Christ's dolere and pati at the heart of an extensive doctrinal reflection aiming to demonstrate that the Incarnation and Passion of Christ, testimonials of Christ's human nature assumed by virtue of «economy» (dispensatio), had ot altered the fullness of His divinity. Nonetheless, the thought of Hilary is sometimes considered difficultor even obscure. Could Hilary, confessor of the faith, have made statements contrary to Orthodoxy ? What did he truly think of the thralls relating to the human condition of Christ (hunger, thirst, tears) as well as ofthe « passions », whether they were sufferings of either bodily or psychological origin, that Christ would have had to traverse ? How does the mystery of the Incarnation shed light upon the mystery of Christ'sPassion ? These observations have prompted a new reading of Hilary's views on the Incarnate Word's suffering human nature, and this, according to the historical context of his works : a) the pre-exilic period of the Bishop of Poitiers with his In Matthaeum, b) the per-exilic period in Phrygia (356-360) with his immersion in the Eastern Church and two works, De Trinitate and De Synodis and, finally, c) the post-exilicperiod with his Tractatus super Psalmos.

Får lärare ha kul på jobbet? : En kvantitativ studie av lärares passion. / Are teachers allowed to have fun at work? : A quantitative survey of the passion of teachers.

Sydvart, Helena January 2015 (has links)
This essay is based on a survey among teachers in a municipality in Östergötland, where the teachers' opinion, if there was room for passion in everyday practice and if it was encouraged and supported by the school management, was investigated. The issues of teachers' perception if they have passion, if they are given the opportunity to exercise it in the everyday practice, if they are stimulated or hindered by the policies, and whether they interpret the school management adding inspiring motivation in a passionate everyday practice, led to the survey questions.   This is a quantitative survey in the form of a questionnaire, in the empirical-inductive field, with a qualitatively oriented analysis where the answers in the questionnaire are teachers' experiences of, inter alia, relationships with school management and colleagues. It is rooted in positivism, with objective questionnaires, as well as teachers' perceptions of phenomena and phenomena responses (Bryman, 2002).   Good examples of teachers impressions were analyzed and summarized based on the understanding that was given by previous research. Current research was studied and linked with the findings obtained. The teachers perceive they get space for their passions in everyday practice, they are encouraged and supported by the school management and that their work passions are wage meritorious. School leaders meet teachers in educational discussions, but are less likely to give time schedule-wise. As for the policy documents the teachers consider them not to be an obstacle to a passionate everyday practice.   The core of the investigation was still if the teachers perceived that they had any passion, and there was a consensus around the student-centered passion: Students' learning and students' well-being was the focus when their passion in everyday practice was to be mentioned.

Love-passion and lovers stories, which the fate spares or whom it persecutes, are themes which touched all the societies, and seem to cross the centuries without aging. Certain legends were orally reported, may be even sung at the begenning, then thanks to the writing and the rewriting, we can read them today. But we tend to favor certain anecdotes, certain poets or authors of the first ones centuries of the Islam. The authors of the later centuries do not seem to have been studied enough at least for this theme of love.It is the case of our author Ibrāhīm al-Biqāʿī ( d.885 H/ 1440 J-C) whom the work is impressive, more than ninety titles. He is especially known for its productions concerning the exegesis and the hadith. His literary side remains unknown or almost. Our research concerns the critical edition and the comment of one of its manuscripts title : Aswāq al-Ašwāq min Maṣāriʿ al-ʿUššāq, which I translate : «Markets of the desires and the demise of the lovers».

Le pathétique et la femme : l'écriture romanesque féminine du pathos dans les années charnières 1678-1720 / Women and the Pathetic : The Women Fiction Writing of the Concept of Pathos in the Pivotal Years 1678-1720

Besbes-Bannour, Faïka 17 June 2011 (has links)
The period between 17th century and the early stages of the Enlightenment is a pivotal one in fiction writing. This is not only because the concept of pathos acquired a profane dimension, but also a moral rehabilitation and an aesthetic development that contributed to make of it a major literary trend by the end of 17th century. However, the concept of pathos and the way it was developed in the women narratives of 17th century has hardly been the subject of any thorough readings. Moreover, the studies focusing on the fiction of that period, did not suggest any input to the concepts of pathos or the pathetic in their index table. To avoid the dangerous side of passion, the writers under focus, are proven to incline themselves to verbal linguistic censorship that pins down the exalting dimension of the passionate discourse. This censorship over-emphasizes both the crisis of the love subject and the failure of communication. As an alternative ! to the narrow dialogic space where pathos could have been expressed; women writers relied on the expressiveness of the body and the non-verbal language. Meta-linguistic signs pervade the texts, emphasizing both the dispositio and the elocutio of fiction; creating, thus, a space where love intrigues could be voiced. A space that makes of silences, gazes and tears important modalities of a new communication strategy implying a constant hermeneutical work. A thorough examination of the novels of Mme de Lafayette and Catherine Bernard, allow us to demonstrate that the tendency of women fiction writing towards somberness and pithiness, is a kind of evolution that owes much to the representation of the concept of the pathetic.
