Sieben Jahre langes Bangen um den Erhalt der Musikbibliothek Peters für die Öffentlichkeit und in Leipzig ist nun Vergangenheit. Die langen und manchmal zähen Verhandlungen um den Verbleib dieser weltweit bekannten und einzigartigen Sammlung von Musikalien und Musikliteratur sind mit dem Ankauf im Februar 2013 zu einem positiven Ende gekommen. Der Verbleib dieser Sammlung am Standort Leipzig, deren Heimat seit Eröffnung im Jahre 1894 schon immer die Musikstadt Leipzig war, ist dauerhaft gesichert.

Worried to formalize a concept of education, highlighting the need to organize the methods of teaching and learning to a new model of teaching and learning that uses different parameters of traditional education. In this research, a qualitative literature and presented the main features of the understandings of the author and reflected on the importance of using reflections produced by this among researchers of our country.During the research others have been used as a theoretical contribution to reflect on the history and the changes made by this mode of teaching, such as: Peters (2004, 2006), Belloni (2009), Moore (2007), Kearley (2007), Maron (2004), Oliveira (2008), Dias (2010), Leite (2010), Saraiva (1996), among others. / Este trabalho objetivou investigar a proposta didático-pedagogica apresentada por Otto Peters , área da Educação à Distância (EAD), em suas obras A educação a Distância em transição (2004) e Didática do ensino a distância (2006) cujas reflexões têm fundamentado a compreensão e as discussões sobre essa modalidade de ensino. Peters em seus estudos, afirma ser adepto da auto-aprendizagem, pontuando que o aluno deve ter mais autonomia e liberdade dentro do processo educacional à distância. Ele foi um dos pioneiros na teorização em EAD. Preocupou-se em formalizar um conceito de educação, evidenciando a necessidade em organizar os métodos de ensino e aprendizagem para um novo modelo de ensino e aprendizagem que se utiliza de parâmetros diferenciados da educação tradicional. Nesta pesquisa, de natureza qualitativa e bibliográfica apresentou-se as principais características das compreensões do autor e refletiu-se sobre a importância da utilização das reflexões produzidas por este entre pesquisadores de nosso país. No decorrer da pesquisa outros autores foram utilizados como contribuição teórica para refletirmos sobre a história e as transformações apresentada por essa modalidade de ensino, tais como: Peters (2004, 2006), Belloni (2009), Moore (2007), Kearley (2007), Maron (2004), Oliveira (2008), Dias (2010), Leite (2010), Saraiva (1996), entre outros.

Following recent developments in philosophy of education, this thesis attempts to relate work done in analytic philosophy of education to work done in normative philosophy of education. The first part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of the concept Curriculum. The aim of this analysis is to attempt to clarify Curriculum and show that it is an essentially normative concept. An examination of the nature of this concept raises serious moral issues, e.g. that of the justification of the content of the Curriculum. This issue is dealt with in the second part of the thesis where I investigate two major philosophical attempts to justify the content of the Curriculum (that of R. S. Peters--an approach couched essentially in terms of the intrinsic value of certain activities--and that of P. S. Wilson--an approach couched essentially in terms of the notion of 'what interests someone') and show that the arguments adduced by Peters and Wilson do not satisfactorily resolve the issue, either in their own terms or in terms of the extent to which they speak to practical considerations. Mary Warnock attempts to merge the double rift, between Peters and Wilson, and between theoretical and practical considerations, by arguing that imagination and work are the criteria (equally important) by which decisions as to the content of the Curriculum should be made. This moderate position, although more adequate, is not devoid of problems, especially with regard to the relationship between imagination and work. It is my belief that a fundamental change in the understanding of theory and practice in the field of education must occur before serious advances can be made with regard to the justificatory issue.

Die 1.000-jährige Ersterwähnung einer Stadt feiern zu können ist ein stolzes Jubiläum. Die Geschichte Leipzigs bietet aber noch mehr. Die viel gepriesene Musikkultur ist historisch ebenso gut dokumentiert. Ganze 800 Jahre währt die Klangtradition inzwischen. Die Musikbibliothek Peters bewahrt dieses Erbe nicht nur, sondern hat der Stadt und ihren Bewohnern ein Geschenk gemacht, das althergebrachte Akustik mit modernem digitalem Auftritt verbindet.

Peggy Froeses Aufsatz, „Risiko und Vertrauen im historischen Roman um 1850: am Beispiel von Louise Otto-Peters Nürnberg“, fokussiert in diachroner Perspektive und im interdisziplinären Rekurs auf soziologische Risiko-Theoreme von Niklas Luhmann die beiden Relationen Risiko und Vertrauen sowie Risiko und Gefahr. Im Zentrum stehen dabei die fiktionalen Differenzkonstruktionen männlichen und weiblichen Risikoverhaltens, welche die politisch exponierteste bürgerliche Emanzipationsschriftstellerin Louise Otto-Peters aus der historischen Position ihrer ebenso geschlechtersegregierten wie fortschritts-, rationalitäts- und risikoaffinen Gegenwart heraus für die historische Vergangenheit um 1500 entwirft. Die Analyse signifikanter vertrauensmarkierter Risikohandlungen und -reflexionen zeigt, dass der Text die neue, sich formierende Risikomentalität in unhistorisch projektiver und affirmatorischer Weise zum konstitutiven Charakterisierungsmerkmal aller seiner Figuren macht, genderstereotype Attribuierungen des zeitgenössischen Risiko-Diskurses dabei aber kritisch ausdifferenziert und korrigiert.

Les conséquences importantes sur l'environnement d'une consommation grandissante d'énergie rendent indispensable une maîtrise du rendement des dispositifs électriques. Il est nécessaire pour améliorer les performances de ces dispositifs de posséder non seulement d'une connaissance fine des phénomènes dissipatifs mais aussi d'outils permettant une simulation- efficace. Parmi tous ces dispositifs, les machines électriques représentent une part très importante. L'énergie dissipée s'y situe, pour une grande partie, dans les tôles électriques utilisées pour la composition de leur circuit magnétique. Une analyse complète du comportement dynamique des ces tôles est menée, elle met en évidence sa sensibilité à la vitesse de variation de l'induction. Cette analyse conduit, grâce à une séparation des aspects statiques et dynamiques, à la définition d'un modèle d'hystérésis dynamique qui permet une représentation précise des tôles électriques. Le modèle d'hystérésis est ensuite combiné à une méthode d'analyse numérique par éléments finis pour évaluer localement la puissance dissipée par le circuit magnétique de la machine. La méthode est validée dans le cas de machines asynchrones de faible puissance. Une analyse complémentaire dans ce cas précis permet de déterminer d'autres phénomènes dissipatifs responsables de pertes supplémentaires. Ils ont pour origine soit des propriétés intrinsèques des matériaux, comme l'anisotropie, soit des opérations du processus de fabrication, comme les courts-circuits en surface du rotor. La prise en compte de l'ensemble de ces phénomènes a conduit à un modèle qui permet de prédire avec précision le rendement des machines électriques.
