Ao apontarmos a metrópole como um lugar idôneo para a efetivação dos ideais e práticas pós-modernas, reputamos o citadino como um produto deste espaço e deste contexto. Através do romance O Fotógrafo de Cristóvão Tezza, buscaremos relacionar a solidão com sua representação imagética dentro da obra já que, ao longo da narrativa, são construídas imagens – selecionadas e registradas pelo olhar fotográfico dos personagens, do autor e até mesmo do leitor – que nos remetem a essas impressões solitárias. Nesse sentido, realizaremos discussões concernentes aos tempos pós-modernos, à metrópole contemporânea, ao indivíduo e os efeitos da vida urbana em seu comportamento, seu íntimo e sua vida. Notas sobre imagem e fotografia serão cruciais e as abordaremos mediante o olhar de críticos como Joly, Aumont, Barthes, Sontag, Benjamin e Dubois. / This work proposes to analyze the human condition in big contemporary cities, considering, above all, the loneliness as a patent aspect in the urban person. When we point out the metropolis as a reliable place to the development of post-modern ideas and practices, we consider the city man as a product of this space and this context. Through the novel The photographer (O fotógrafo) from Cristóvão Tezza, we will try to relate the loneliness to its imagery representation within the work since, throughout the narrative, images are built – selected and registered by the characters’, the author’s and even the reader’s photographic look – which send us to these lonely impressions. Thus, we will carry out discussions concerning post-modern times, the contemporary metropolis, the individual and the effects of urban life on his behavior, his intimacy and his life. Notes on image and photography will be crucial and we will bring them up by means of the view of critics like Joly, Amont, Barthes, Sontag, Benjamin and Dubois.

A pesquisa de caráter qualitativo investigou o cotidiano da escola no período da manhã por aproximadamente dois anos, realizando observação participante, conversas informais com alunos, professores e funcionários, entrevistas semi-estruturadas com professores e equipe técnica, registros escritos e fotográficos. Concomitantemente à coleta de dados foi sendo construída uma narrativa preliminar de análise que descrevia a dinâmica do cotidiano da escola. Com base nesta análise preliminar foi feita uma retrospectiva dos acontecimentos descritos na narrativa, trazendo para a discussão principais pontos de interesse que foram interpretados à luz do referencial teórico de Z. Bauman cuja tese central é o conceito de pós-modernidade enquanto tempos líquidos e as metáforas do jardineiro, guarda-caça e caçador. Nesse sentido, foi possível considerar que a escola convivia com práticas concorrentes e conflitantes em seu cotidiano. A equipe técnica faz o papel de jardineiro ao tentar construir uma utopia que almeja criar uma escola participativa em que o diálogo é a grande fantasia fundadora do grupo. Alguns professores não compartilham dessa utopia e nesse caso, eles fazem o papel do guarda-caça, pois querem manter a escola mais tradicional. Parte dos alunos da escola se aproxima da figura do caçador, pois não se preocupam com sua formação para o futuro ao negar seu próprio desenvolvimento e a aprendizagem de conhecimentos escolares, somente valorizando, muitas vezes, a oportunidade se divertir nas aulas. Partes dos pais embora se assemelhem a figura do guarda-caça, na verdade parecem desejar que a escola prepare seus filhos para serem bons caçadores. O referencial psicanalítico de R. Kaës acerca do conceito de Instituição/Grupo possibilita dizer que a equipe técnica certamente tem uma utopia e são fundadoras de um grupo, no entanto, a instituição não conseguiu chegar ao momento mitopoético, pois a tarefa (utopia) não consegue estruturar todo o grupo entorno desse projeto e, além disso, a equipe técnica não consegue enfrentar e admitir as diferenças de concepções; ela precisaria buscar mecanismos que ajudem o grupo a se organizar em torno da utopia e sustentá-la de maneira efetiva. / Abstract: In this work we had to investigate a public school which would be the possible relationships that exist between the individuals of the school and between them and the environment and what are the parameters that could be underlain daily life of the school. A qualitative research study investigated the daily school routine in the morning for about two years, doing participant observation, informal conversations with students, teachers and staff, semi-structured interviews with teachers and technical staff, written and photographic. Concomitant with the data collection was being constructed a narrative preliminary analysis describing the dynamics of the school routine. Based on this preliminary analysis was done a retrospective of the events described in the narrative, bringing to the main discussion points of interest that were interpreted in light of the theoretical framework of Z. Bauman whose central thesis is the concept of post-modern times as a liquid and the metaphors of the gardener, the gamekeeper and hunter. In this direction was possible to consider that the school lived with competing and conflicting practices in their daily lives. The technical staff plays a gardener trying to build a utopia that aims to create a school where participatory dialogue is the ultimate fantasy founder of the group. Some teachers do not share this utopia in which case, they play the role of the gamekeeper, because they want to maintain more traditional school. Part of the students of school approaches the figure of the hunter, because they do not care about his training for the future by denying their own development and learning of school knowledge, only valuing often the opportunity to have fun in class. Parts of the parents though resembling the figure of the gamekeeper actually seem to want the school to prepare their children to be good hunters. The psychoanalytical R. Kaës about the concept of Institution / Group enables to say that certainly the technical staff has a utopia and are founders of a group, however, the institution failed to reach the mythopoetic time, for the task (utopia) is unable to structure the whole group around this project and in addition, the technical staff can not confront and acknowledge the differences of views; she would need to find mechanisms that help the group to organize itself around the utopia and support it effectively. / Mestrado / Ensino e Práticas Culturais / Mestre em Educação

[pt] Esta pesquisa centra-se no estudo do tema do Kerygma no mundo fragmentado. Busca-se desenvolver o tema a partir da visão do teólogo alemão Jurgen Moltmann. A referida pesquisa visa a interação entre a leitura do Kerygma em Moltmann e suas propostas pastorais às demandas do ser humano pós-moderno. O trabalho se desenvolve em três capítulos que buscam estruturar esta dissertação: no primeiro, descreve-se o declínio da modernidade e o consequente nascimento da pós-modernidade, bem como a configuração existencial do ser humano pós-moderno; no segundo, desenvolve-se a leitura teológica do Kerygma bíblico em Jurgen Moltmann e no terceiro, retomam-se os principais pontos das reflexões dos capítulos anteriores com objetivo de fornecer propostas pastorais kerygmáticas às demandas do ser humano hodierno. A leitura kerygmática do referido teólogo propõe um comparecimento pastoral veiculado através de uma linguagem existencial e relacional, uma cristologia do caminho, materializando ortodoxia em concreta proclamação de vida coerente à situação existencial do ser humano de nossa época. / [en] This research focuses on the study of the subject of the Kerygma in the fragmented world. We seek to develop the theme from the German theologian Jurgen Moltmann s view. This research aims at the interaction between the reading of the Kerygma in Moltmann and pastoral proposals demands of the post-modern human being. The work develops into three chapters that seek to structure this essay: in the first, describes the decline of modernity and the consequent birth of Postmodernity, as well as the human being s existential postmodern configuration; in the second, develops the theological reading of the Kerygma Bible in Jurgen Moltmann; in the third, resumed the main points of reflections of previous chapters in order to provide pastoral proposals Kerygmatics the demands of the human being today. The Kerygmatic reading of that theologian proposes a pastoral attendance broadcasted through an existential and relational language, a Christology of the way, materializing orthodoxy in life coherent proclamation concrete to the existential situation of human beings of our time.

To that end it has as its special object of study the musical repertoire of the pentecostal communities, evaluating the internal evolution of that which is sung in the worship services and other meetings. Music is the principal means by which the behavior of the faithful is moulded. Since it is a product derived from the surrounding culture, and so not completely controlled by the composer, pentecostal hymnology both reflects and inculcates symbols which direct the universe which its followers inhabit. Gilbert Durand's book, The Theory of the Imaginary, provides the hermeneutical basis for our interpretation of the symbolic as present in the hymn-books both of classic pentecostalism and of post-pentecostalism, and we apply Durand's methodology to the images present in the pentecostal hymns. As to its epistemology, this study is both transdisciplinary and comprehensive, as well as taking into account current sociological trends present in what is known as post-modernity / O presente trabalho procura investigar as rupturas e continuidades na teologia, mentalidade e visão de mundo dos pentecostais brasileiros.Para isso, assume como objeto privilegiado de investigação o repertório musical das comunidades pentecostais, contemplando as evoluções internas daquilo que é cantado em seus cultos e reuniões. A música é o vetor principal na modelagem do comportamento dos fiéis. Sendo produto derivado do ambiente cultural, portanto não completamente controlado pelo compositor, a hinologia pentecostal tanto reflete quanto incute símbolos que irão orientar o universo habitado pelos adeptos de uma crença.Toma a Teoria do Imaginário (Gilbert Durand) como mediador hermenêutico da leitura simbólica do cancioneiro pentecostal clássico e pós-pentecostal, empregando sua metodologia às imagens existentes nas canções pentecostais. Questions the paradigm and institutional crisis of the state focused on its cooptation by hegemonic groups that exert regulatory pressure. This movement ends with reflections in the advancement of social justice, and the principle of efficiency in the post-modern context, related, therefore, aspects of social exclusion. In addition to the theoretical frameworks that reflect post-modernity, there is the comparison of state functions in relation to its structure in modernity as well as a critical reflection on its role from the standpoint of domination. It is expected, therefore, to reflect on the changing role of the state, which, of capitalism support instrument in its genesis, passed the important resistance instance to deregulation forces that cause fragmentation and social exclusion in contemporary times. The approach relates the state with the paradigm of efficiency and social justice seen as one of the corporate goals by the Democratic and Social State of Law. / A presente dissertação objetiva refletir acerca do desafio da eficiência do Estado Democrático de Direito no cenário da globalização econômica. Problematiza a crise paradigmática e institucional do Estado com foco na sua cooptação por grupos hegemônicos que exercem pressão regulatória. Este movimento acaba tendo reflexos no avanço da justiça social, sendo o princípio da eficiência, no contexto pós-moderno, relacionado, portanto, com aspectos de exclusão social. Além dos referenciais teóricos que refletem a pós-modernidade, há o cotejo das funções do Estado em relação à sua estruturação na modernidade, bem como uma reflexão crítica sobre seu papel do ponto de vista da dominação. Espera-se, assim, refletir acerca da mudança do papel do Estado, que, de instrumento de sustentação do capitalismo na sua gênese, passou a importante instância de resistência às forças desregulamentadoras que causam fragmentação e exclusão social na contemporaneidade. A abordagem relaciona o Estado com o paradigma da eficiência, sendo a justiça social vista como um dos objetivos incorporados pelo Estado Democrático e Social de Direito.

[pt] O Objetivo desse trabalho é analisar, através de um estudo teórico e de uma pesquisa de campo, os possíveis atravessamentos da cultura contemporânea, com ênfase nas questões da eficiência e do consumo, na construção das primeiras relações mãe-bebê e suas repercussões nas práticas de maternagem. Buscou-se para isso apoio na Psicanálise, na História e na Sociologia. Diversos aspectos estão envolvidos nas expectativas atuais diante da maternidade relacionados com sentimentos de insegurança e incerteza presentes no mundo em que vivemos, onde a vida é marcada pela incerteza, instabilidade e fluidez dos valores. O sujeito contemporâneo por conta disso acredita precisar de especialistas para respaldá-lo nos mais diversos aspectos. As inseguranças presentes na situação da maternidade, em especial no caso do primeiro filho, são aqui colocadas em relevo, problematizando a busca de apoios disponibilizados por um mercado que hoje propõe respostas em forma de cursos, manuais e diversos outros produtos a serem consumidos. / [en] This work aims to analyze, through a theoretical study and field research, the possible influences of contemporary culture, with an emphases on issues of efficiency and consumption, in the process of building the relationship between mother and baby and their repercussions of maternal practices. For that, a support on Psychoanalysis, History and Sociology was explored. A variety of aspects are involved in nowadays expectations on maternity. Feelings of insecurity and uncertainty are present in the contemporary world, where life is dictated by uncertainty, instability and fluidity of values. Due to that, contemporary subjects often believe they need specialists to back them up in many different areas. The insecurities present in maternity, especially when it comes to firstborns, are here highlighted, questioning the search of support made available by a market that today proposes answers in form of courses, textbooks and many other products to be consumed.

Depuis vingt ans, le discours des sciences exactes apparaît régulièrement sur la scène britannique : la mécanique quantique, les mathématiques du chaos, la thermodynamique et les sciences naturelles sont aujourd’hui des matériaux dramaturgiques courants. Cette étude définit l’esthétique particulière et le nouveau rapport entre théâtre et savoir produits par ce phénomène, à partir d’un corpus reflétant la diversité de la création contemporaine, des dramaturges Tom Stoppard, Michael Frayn, Timberlake Wertenbaker ou Caryl Churchill aux compagnies de théâtre Complicite et On Theatre. Le discours scientifique joue dans ce théâtre un rôle simultanément épistémologique et poétique, car ses formes y sont détournées et activées dans de nouveaux contextes. Il fournit des métaphores et des structures narratives à des dramaturgies incertaines, caractérisées par une esthétique postmoderne de la vérité multiple et de l’ouverture du sens. Ces transferts discursifs sont ici abordés selon les trois grandes modalités du rapport à la science ainsi construit : l’imitation d’un modèle rationnel, la critique d’un lieu de pouvoir, et l’importation des schèmes poétiques de l’imaginaire scientifique. / Over the past twenty years, the discourse of hard science has appeared increasingly frequently on the British stage: quantum mechanics, chaos mathematics, thermodynamics and the natural sciences have provided dramatic material for contemporary artists. This thesis defines the resulting aesthetic, and the new relationship between theatre and knowledge that can be found in the work of dramatists such as Tom Stoppard, Michael Frayn, Timberlake Wertenbaker or Caryl Churchill, and theatre companies such as Complicite and On Theatre. The function of this scientific discourse is both epistemological and poetic: its forms are activated in new contexts, and bring metaphors and narrative structures to a postmodern drama characterised by uncertainty and multiple truths. These discursive transfers are analysed according to the relationship they create with science, which can involve imitating it as a rational model, criticizing it an instrument of power, or importing the shapes and patterns of scientific imagination.

[pt] Nas últimas décadas, temos presenciado um acelerado desenvolvimento tecnológico que vem causando um impacto significativo em nosso mundo. Nesse contexto, a Internet promoveu uma notável revolução social, transformando radicalmente nossa realidade. Na web, encontramos uma nova plataforma de vida, onde nossas vivências cotidianas ganham novas dimensões, novos sentidos e novas proporções. Este trabalho destaca uma dessas experiências corriqueiras, o humor, e procura explorá-la através do discurso de jovens brasileiros usuários da Internet. Para tanto, apresenta inicialmente uma breve discussão da literatura sobre o humor e sobre o cenário contemporâneo. As ideias discutidas apontam para o componente social do humor, e indicam ainda que este estabelece importantes relações com a realidade. Após a discussão teórica, é apresentada uma pesquisa de campo realizada por meio de entrevistas com 13 jovens que acessam conteúdo humorístico on-line. A análise de seus depoimentos revela vários aspectos de sua rotina virtual, com destaque para o amplo uso da rede social Facebook para diferentes fins. Além disso, ficam evidentes também as características do humor veiculado na Internet. Entre elas, destacam-se a facilidade de acesso, a rapidez, a inovação, a liberdade de expressão e o caráter democrático (qualquer um pode fazer). Por fim, a pesquisa revela ainda que no cenário atual o humor serve, entre outras coisas, como válvula de escape, como instrumento de crítica e de socialização. / [en] Over the last few decades, we have seen an accelerated technological development that has been causing a significant impact in our world. In this context, the Internet has promoted a remarkable social revolution, radically transforming our reality. On the web, we find a new life platform, where our daily experiences end up reaching new dimensions, new meanings and new proportions. The present work highlights one of these daily experiences – the humor – and aims to explore it through the discourses of young Brazilian Internet users. In order to achieve this goal, this work initially presents a brief literature discussion about humor and the contemporary scenario. The ideas discussed point to the social component of humor, and indicate that humor has important connections with reality. Then it is presented a field research held through interviews with 13 young people who access on-line humor content. The analysis of their testimonials reveals several aspects of their virtual routine, specially the large use of the Facebook social network for different purposes. Besides, it also highlights some features of the humor that is posted on the Internet. Among them, the easiness of access, the speed, the innovation, the freedom of expression and the democratic character (anyone can do) stand out. Finally, the research shows that in the actual scenario the humor serves, among other functions, as an escape valve and as an instrument of criticism and socialization.

[pt] A Igreja para continuar fiel a sua vocação pretendida por Cristo, precisa ser capaz de estabelecer conexões com a cultura e com o mundo na qual esta inserida em atitude dialógica. Como Povo de Deus ela possui uma identidade definida, contrastante com a sociedade, é um organismo vivo e pulsante que através dos séculos, penetrou em uma gama diversificada de culturas, como mediadora e sinal do Reino porvir. Minhas reflexões acreditam que a pós-modernidade seja o contexto possível para a vivência da eclesiologia de comunhão, isto é alinhar-se ao projeto salvífico de Deus para o mundo, mantendo no tempo presente a Igreja como voz que se faça ouvir, vida geradora de vida e luz para os povos, cumprindo sua vocação em Cristo. / [en] In order to the church maintain her faithfulness to her vocation, she must be able to establish dialogical connections to the world in which is inserted . The Church considered as the People of God has a precise identity, and is a living and contrasting organization which throughout the centuries has penetrated in different cultures as a mean and sign of the Kingdom to come . To say it’s a contrast society does not mean it’s a society outside the world, which makes segregations and discriminations. But, rather, it’s a contrasting society, because inserts itself into the world, interacting, loving and fighting for life. My reflections think about Post-modernity as a possible context, to live the Ecclesiology of communion, to follow the salvific project of God to the world maintaining in the present time the Church as a voice to be heard, life engendering life and light to the peoples, accomplishing her vocation in Christ.

[pt] A dissertação discute a relação existente entre o videodesign e a cultura pósmoderna, através da análise da linguagem visual das vinhetas da MTV. Porém, há também o estudo do sistema visual da emissora, no qual as vinhetas estão imersas, com referências à história, à programação, aos cenários, aos comerciais, aos videoclipes e aos VJs. A MTV assumiria um lugar de destaque na reprodução das manifestações pós-modernas, por ser um legítimo produto da indústria cultural, tendo como principal audiência o jovem, que costuma consumir diversas mercadorias atreladas à imagem dos artistas que tem seus clipes exibidos pela emissora. Além disso, a MTV procura adotar uma linguagem visual de vanguarda, expressa também em suas vinhetas, para continuar mantendo a atenção de seu jovem público, ávido por novidades que são descartadas de modo contínuo, estando baseadas na efemeridade pós-moderna. O ambiente de criação do videodesigner, repleto de recursos técnicos com o uso maciço do computador, através de programas de edição e manipulação de imagens, faria com que esse profissional fosse ao mesmo tempo produto e reprodutor de determinadas características da cultura pós-moderna, enquanto desenvolve as vinhetas que serão exibidas para milhares de pessoas através da televisão, que é um meio de comunicação de massa. Aspectos concernentes à cultura pós- moderna, como a fragmentação, a efemeridade, o presente contínuo, o pastiche, a globalização, a compressão do tempo-espaço, a indústria cultural, o consumismo generalizado, dentre outros, são expostos sob diferentes ângulos e relacionados à linguagem visual da MTV e de suas vinhetas, que são produtos legítimos do videodesign. / [en] The research presents a case study of MTV on-air promos and discusses the relation between the visual language of MTV - with an analysis of its history, programs, sceneries, video clips and VJs -, and postmodern culture. MTV visual language may be considered a privileged locus of reproduction of postmodern expression insofar as it is a legitimate product of the cultural industry. The teen audience of MTV consumes various commodities that are linked to the artists whose video clips are played in the broadcasting station. Besides, MTV adopts an avant-garde language, also expressed in its promos, to continue maintaining the young audience s attention. This kind of public is always eager for novelties that are continually discarded, true to the pattern of postmodern ephemerality. The videodesigner´s workplace consists of a broad array of computer-based technical resources, such as image edition softwares. These resources are part of the process in which the videodesigner becomes both a product and a reproducer of postmodern culture, while developing the promos that will be displayed to millions of people on television. Postmodern aspects, such as fragmentation of ideas, ephemerality, continuous present, pastiche, globalization, time-space compression, cultural industry, generalized consumerism, and others, will be discussed from different angles and compared to the visual language of MTV and its on-air promos.
