La presente tesis aborda la investigación y la propuesta arquitectónica de una Residencia Asistida para el adulto mayor ubicado en el distrito de Santiago de Surco de la ciudad de Lima.
El argumento principal de este documento es la persona adulta mayor, grupo etario que se ha convertido en un reto demográfico en el Perú y el mundo durante los últimos años. Por ello, se estudian los conceptos y aspectos funcionales, se analiza la problemática para aportar soluciones, se investiga la situación de las personas de la tercera edad en el Perú y el mundo, proyectos referenciales nacionales e internacionales. Además, se analiza el lugar donde se ubicará la Residencia Asistida y los diferentes usuarios. Finalmente se desarrolla el proyecto arquitectónico bajo los criterios formales, funcionales y tecnológicos.
El proyecto busca brindar a las personas de tercera edad un lugar que responda a sus necesidades básicas, donde pueda sentirse parte de una comunidad, brindándole una correcta calidad de vida dentro de un adecuado espacio arquitectónico. / This thesis addresses the research and architectural proposal of an assisted residence for the elderly located in the Santiago de Surco district of the city of Lima.
The main argument of this document is the elderly person, an age group that, in recent years, has become a demographic challenge in Peru and the world. For this reason, the concepts and functional aspects are studied; the problem is analyzed to provide solutions; the situation of the elderly in Peru and the world is investigated, referencing national and international projects. In addition, the place where the assisted residence will be located and the different users are analyzed. Este documento trata sobre el delicado proceso de envejecimiento del ser humano, las condiciones y secuelas que se presentan en esta etapa de la vida y cómo, con el objetivo de aportar a través de un Centro de Atención Residencial para Personas Adultas Mayores, una experiencia y calidad de vida en el cual el residente y usuario pueda continuar con su vida, darle un nuevo significado, continuar auto realizándose y principalmente ser feliz.
Estos centros son espacios públicos o privados, accesibles, de atención básica, integral, especializada y multidisciplinaria, dirigidos a adultos mayores autovalentes o dependientes. Esta tipología será de uso mixto (atención gerontológica y geriátrica). Se logra recopilar y analizar la información necesaria de esta tipología a nivel internacional y local, así como la definición y operacionalización del énfasis de sostenibilidad el cual distinguirá al proyecto dentro de su tipología y logrará aportar de forma benéfica al medio ambiente y su comunidad.
El desarrollo sostenible es aquel que satisface las necesidades del presente sin comprometer las necesidades de las futuras generaciones.
También se expone la justificación de la problemática, del déficit actual, del lugar a intervenir a nivel nacional (Perú) y a nivel local (el distrito de San Miguel) por las condiciones deficientes de los centros residenciales actuales y la necesidad de introducir un nuevo proyecto que podrá aportar servicios de calidad a los adultos mayores de la región y funcionar como ejemplo para futuras y actuales edificaciones de dicha tipología. / This document explains the aging process of the human being, the conditions and sequelae that occur in this stage of life and how, with the aim of providing a beneficial experience through a Residential Care Center for the Elderly.
A quality of life in which the residents and others can continue with their life, give it a new meaning, continue to fulfill themselves and achieve happiness. These centers offer public and private services, with basic, comprehensive, specialized, and multidisciplinary care, aimed at self-reliant or dependent elderly adults.
This typology will be of mixed use (gerontological and geriatric care). It is possible to collect and analyze the necessary information of it from an international and local level, as well as the definition and operationalization of the emphasis on sustainability which will distinguish the project within its typology and will be able to contribute in a beneficial way to the environment and its community.
A sustainable development is one that meets the needs of the present without compromising the needs of future generations. The justification of the social problematic at the current deficit, of the place to intervene at a national and local level (San Miguel district) is also exposed due to the poor conditions of the present residential centers and the need to introduce a new project that will be able to provide quality services for the elderly in the region in order to function as an example for future and current buildings of this architectural typology. / Trabajo de investigación

El proyecto que se presenta a continuación es una Residencia Universitaria ubicada en Monterrico, una zona del distrito de Santiago de Surco que se ha convertido en un polo educacional en los últimos años debido a la aparición de nuevas universidades y al crecimiento de las ya existentes. Como consecuencia de este hecho, ha incrementado de igual forma la necesidad de residencias para los estudiantes de dichas instituciones.
Sin embargo, al igual que en el resto de la ciudad, esta demanda no está siendo atendida de manera óptima. En la ciudad de Lima no existen edificios propiamente diseñados para albergar las necesidades específicas de los estudiantes universitarios. Es así como surge la concepción de este proyecto, como una propuesta de solución al problema de inexistencia de residencias universitarias que cuenten con un diseño adecuado para el desenvolvimiento de sus usuarios. Además, se plantea que el edificio cuente con un zócalo comercial que complemente a la residencia como programa arquitectónico, uso de suelo y, al mismo tiempo, que actúe como un factor que refuerce la rentabilidad del proyecto.
Como énfasis arquitectónico, el proyecto propone crear espacios que cumplan de manera óptima con las actividades de descanso, estudio, recreación e interacción de los estudiantes. Además, busca generar una relación espacial que tenga como espacio vinculador a las áreas comunes de la residencia. Es decir, que las áreas donde se reúnen e interactúan los estudiantes residentes, sean el núcleo que vitalice el proyecto. / The project presented below is a Residence Hall located in Monterrico, an area of the Santiago de Surco district that has become an educational hub in recent years due to the emergence of new universities and the expansion of existing ones. As a consequence of this fact, the need for residencies for the students of these institutions has also increased.
However, as in the rest of the city, this demand is not being optimally met. In the city of Lima, there are no buildings properly designed to house the specific needs of university students. The conception of this project arises as a proposed solution to the problem of absence of university residences that have a suitable design for the development of its users. In addition, it is planned for the building to include commercial premises on the first floor that complement the residence as an architectural program, land use and, at the same time, acts as a factor that reinforces the profitability of the project.
As an architectural emphasis, the project suggests to create spaces that optimally comply with the rest, study, recreation and interaction activities of the students. El presente proyecto es un edificio mixto bajo el concepto “in between” (espacios intermedios), cuya principal tipología es una residencia universitaria. Complementaria a esta, surgen otras áreas destinadas al comercio, a la cultura y a oficinas “co- working”. Se ubica, estratégicamente, en el distrito de Pueblo Libre, cerca de equipamientos necesarios y complementarios a estas tipologías. Con la elaboración de este proyecto, se busca cubrir el 3.18% de la demanda actual existente por parte de estudiantes de provincia o del extranjero, quienes por falta de edificios como este, tienen la necesidad de hospedarse en ambientes no aptos arquitectónicamente a sus necesidades.
El objetivo de la residencia universitaria es alojar a los estudiantes y brindarles espacios de ocio y descanso, cuya calidad arquitectónica permita que los estos se desenvuelvan en el aspecto personal, académico, social y cultural.
Por otro lado, es preciso mencionar que tanto el área comercial, cultural y el de oficinas “co working”, surgen como espacios complementarios a esta residencia y se incluyen en el proyecto con la finalidad de permitir que este sea más atractivo a posibles inversionistas y, por ende, más rentable. / The present project is a mixed building under the concept “in between” (intermediate spaces), the main typology of which is a university residence, complementary to which arise complementary uses such as commerce, co-working offices and multipurpose rooms. La residencia de estudiantes es un espacio diseñado para el estudiante. Donde satisface todas las actividades primarias como dormir, comer, estudiar, asearse, desarrollarse, ejercitarse y necesidad de refugio, así como las actividades secundarias como las de ocio esto comprende ver televisión, escuchar música, juegos de mesa.
Éste tipo de residencia, ubicada fuera del campus en Pueblo Libre, se encuentran en un radio de influencia cerca de la casa de estudios del alumno. Esta se haya en la Av. Bolívar a tres cuadras de la Universidad Católica, al costado de la Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega y cerca de la UNMSM.
De esta manera la infraestructura considera estudiantes que residan en Lima, provincia, país o sea un egresado que esté realizando de posgrado, maestría, doctorado u otro.
Así se congregan personas de diferentes lugares, intercambiando costumbres y cultura, que son enfatizados por los espacios colaborativos y espacios compartidos.
Todo ello lleva a tener una estructura de 11 505 m2 en total, en un terreno de 6000.07 m2 con un total de residentes de 480 de los cuales 247 son alumnos residentes migrantes, 165 son alumnos residentes no migrantes, 33 residentes no son estudiantes, 26 residentes son docentes y 9 son residentes discapacitados, esto quiere decir que son 23 m2 por estudiante. Esto es comprobado por los proyectos referenciales tomados en cuenta. / The student residence is a space designed for the student. El proyecto plantea un centro de día y residencia dirigido al adulto mayor, en el cual se plantean diversos factores para responder a las necesidades del usuario tales como vivienda, alimentación, salud y recreación. El proyecto tiene como objetivo base lograr generar una interacción entre el usuario y la comunidad, evitando que el adulto mayor se sienta aislado de la sociedad, formando una arquitectura con un límite permeable hacia el entorno para lograr una mejor relación con este.
El proyecto se diseñó con los criterios arquitectónicos establecidos en los estudios y proyectos referenciales que ayuden a lograr un diseño adecuado. Como volumen, se busco acoplar el proyecto a su entorno inmediato, tomando en cuenta las alturas, los usos y creando un limite más ligero entre el proyecto y su entorno.
Se investigó y se estudio a detalle diferentes factores, como el usuario, programa, zonificación y áreas para el diseño del centro, tomando en cuenta diferentes centros de referencia tanto nacionales como internacionales y asegurando el bienestar y respuesta de las necesidades del usuario. / The project proposes a day center and residence for the elderly, in which various factors are proposed to respond to the needs of the user such as housing, food, health and recreation. La edificación está resuelta en base a un módulo de habitación para un usuario y otro destinado a un usuario con capacidades diferentes. [pt] A escrita desta dissertação teve como intuito discorrer sobre as ações do projeto Lastro – Intercâmbios Livres em Arte, entendendo-o como rede de contatos e plataforma de ação para projetos colaborativos. Uma proposta que visa conexões no campo da arte e cultura no contexto América Latina, porém com reverberações além-territórios. Como rede opera em diferentes frentes de trabalho e pensamento, tendo a mobilidade contemporânea como foco de estudo. Esta pesquisa propôs uma ramificação do pensamento sobre mobilidade em formato de cadernos de viagens, aprofundando pontos de vista e abordagens diferenciadas acerca do deslocamento e como este é entendido por artistas, transformando-se em poética. Quatro cadernos que se transmutarão em pequenas publicações via coleção de livros Lastro. Tal trânsito tem como objetivo fomentar projetos editoriais experimentais que atuem como dispositivo questionador e aglutinador. Além disso, tal projeto inaugura o selo editorial Lastro, o que faz nascer mais uma atividade da rede. A realização dessa pesquisa vem auxiliar uma maior compreensão conceitual do Lastro e sua potência política enquanto proposta curatorial rizomática. / [en] The core aim in the writing of this abstract was to discourse on the project named Lastro - Intercâmbios Livres em Arte (ballast –free exchange art) seeing it as an action platform and a network for cooperative projects. A project that seeks the connections of artistic and cultural fields within the Latin-America context, though resounding beyond its limits. As a network it acts in various types of work fronts and thoughts, having a contemporary movability as its study focus. That research has proposed a branching of the thoughts on movability in the shape of travel diaries, deepening points of views and the differentiated approaches regarding movement and how it is understood by artists by shaping it into poetic. Four diaries that will take the format of small publications through the Lastro book collection. The goal of such movement is to promote the experimental publishing projects that may act as a questioning as well as unifying device. Besides, such project also inaugurates the Lastro imprint, and by doing so, we’ll be starting one more activity in its network. The execution of such research intends to enhance the conceptual comprehension of Lastro and its political potentiality as a non-hierarchical curatorship project.

Previous issue date: 2007-05-08 / This dissertation was originated by a bursting question: how
does the appropriation of the welfare benefits of the elderly
institutionalized in Grupo Vida Residência occur? The
investigation revealed that these benefits are not used by the
elderly, but by their family or friends. The research aimed to
investigate the process of concession and usufruct of the
benefits. The answers obtained through the interviews made it
possible to classify the different ways of appropriation, according
to the intentions and motivations of the relatives or the
responsible for the elderly. The interviews reveal the
relationships that exist behind the scene of the utilization of this
resource and the importance it has to the families and to society.
In the investigation, it was outstanding how easy it is to
circumvent the system. The dissertation was organized in a way
to approach progressively to the theme of investigation. Its
contribution to gerontology, a typically multi-subject science, is to
bring themes such as the social welfare legislation, the evolution
of conquered rights, the role of the elderly in this process, the
historical path of philanthropy in Brazil and its relations with
social assistance and with the State. From a personal point of
view, although I have worked with the elderly for a long time, the
investigation revealed aspects of the lives of the institutionalized
elderly and their families that remained in what I call the silent
conspiracy / Esta dissertação partiu de uma questão detonadora: como se
dá a apropriação dos benefícios previdenciários recebidos por
idosos institucionalizados do Grupo Vida Residência? A
investigação feita revelou que os benefícios recebidos não são
usufruídos pelos idosos, mas pela família e, até mesmo, por
amigos do beneficiário. A pesquisa voltou-se, assim, à
investigação do processo de concessão e usufruto dos
benefícios. As respostas obtidas, por meio de entrevistas,
permitiram classificar as diferentes formas de apropriação, de
acordo com as intenções e as motivações dos familiares ou
responsáveis pelos idosos. As entrevistas revelam as relações
existentes nos bastidores da utilização dos recursos
relacionados aos benefícios por terceiros e a importância dos
mesmos para as famílias e para a sociedade. Na investigação
do processo de concessão dos benefícios o que mais chamou a
atenção foi a facilidade existente de se burlar o sistema. A
dissertação foi elaborada de modo a promover a progressiva
aproximação ao tema de investigação. Sua contribuição para a
gerontologia, ciência tipicamente multidisciplinar, é recuperar
temas como a legislação previdenciária, a evolução dos direitos
conquistados e o papel do idoso neste processo, assim como o
percurso histórico traçado pela filantropia no Brasil e suas
relações com a assistência social e com o Estado. De um ponto
de vista pessoal, apesar de trabalhar com idosos ha muito
tempo, a investigação revelou facetas da vida dos idosos
institucionalizados e de suas famílias que permaneciam no que

Este estudio pone de manifiesto la gran complementariedad existente entre la medicina y la pedagogía. La primera para poder satisfacer su demanda de asesoramiento pedagógico y de formación docente y la segunda para poder disponer de un nuevo escenario de formación en la práctica profesional fuera del contexto escolar. Para ello, se ocupa de identificar y analizar desde un punto de vista pedagógico los principales componentes de la formación postgrado de la especialidad de Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria (MFyC), atendiendo al siguiente esquema: tipo de formación, estructura, organización y metodología docente.En un primer apartado se justifica y delimita el problema de investigación a una especialidad concreta -la MFyC-, a un contexto, -la Región de Murcia- y a un momento formativo, -el inicio de la residencia (R1), que corresponde, según el nuevo Programa Formativo de la Especialidad a una rotación de 3 a 6 meses en el Centro de Salud-.Posteriormente se formulan los objetivos y se plantea la hipótesis que guiará todo el proceso de trabajo. El principal objetivo consiste en indagar en el Plan Individual de Formación que se establece o debería establecerse entre el tutor y su residente al inicio del primer y del tercer año de rotación (R1) en los Centros de Salud docentes de la Región de Murcia. / The present study highlights the wide interaction existing between Medicine and Pedagogy. The former can satisfy the claim of Medicine regarding the need of pedagogical consultancy and educational training. The latter offers a new scenario of education in professional practice outside the scholastic context. For such purpose, it identifies and analyses, from a pedagogical point of view, the core components of the Postgraduate Education of the specialist training of Family Medice, regarding the following domains: methods of learning, structure, organization and teaching methodology.Firstly, it justifies and defines the problem of research in a particular speciality -Family Medice, a context -Murcia Region-, and to a formative moment -the beginning of medical house Residency (R1), which consists of 3 to 6 months rotation in the Primary Care Centre, according to the New Specialist Educational Program-.Secondly, aims are established and the working hypothesis for the study is formulated. The fundamental purpose of this research is to enquire into the Learning Individual Program that there is -or there should be- between the preceptor and the student who is doing the clinical practice during the first year of rotation (R1) in the Teaching Health Centres of Murcia Region.
