Informe de Seminario para optar al grado de Licenciado en Filosofía. / Es por ello el título de este estudio “El discurso religioso, un discurso simbólico”, pues el simbolismo es la única manera de expresión sensata de la experiencia de lo sagrado. El simbolismo es quien nos hace señas, nos indica, nos muestra, nos en-seña (zuwinken) la situación existencial del hombre, y en este caso, su experiencia existencial respecto a lo trascendente. Los símbolos han sido capaces de des-cubrir otros modos de la realidad. Por esto que, Ricoeur analiza los símbolos. Por medio de ellos, el discurso religioso logra su carácter pre-conceptual y logra referirse a ese nuevo revelado modo de ser o de habitar en el mundo, a través de los símbolos se ofrece una especie de redescripción de la existencia.

A lo largo de su obra filosófica, Paul Ricoeur busca interpretar el sentido de la existencia humana siguiendo una “vía larga” que no evita aquellas mediaciones que llegan a la reflexión desde diversos ámbitos del saber y la práctica. En este recorrido hemos encontrado una línea maestra de su pensamiento en lo que se ha denominado una aproximación escatológica, es decir, aquella perspectiva de análisis que considera “lo último” como un elemento real y activo de la acción humana. Este horizonte escatológico tiene distintos modos de hacerse presente en los análisis de Ricoeur. Después de un intento de comprensión del término y de su aplicación en el ámbito filosófico, se realiza una revisión de esta perspectiva en las principales obras del pensador francés, para terminar con el planteamiento de su aplicación en tres ámbitos precisos de comprensión de la persona humana: la verdad, la libertad, la identidad narrativa.

Artistic meaning via visual art and literary fiction is debated in modern aesthetic thought. Language is a cognitive component in postmodernist aesthetic projects. This thesis investigates Maurice Merleau-Ponty's and Paul Ricoeur's writings on painting and language, respectively, whose phenomenological aim is the revelation of being in works of the imagination in tandem with Lambert Zuidervaart's approach to artistic truth which opens the lifeworld to the biotic context of the earth. For him, imaginative disclosure is integral to techno-scientific and art realms. Embodiment, natality, and expression illuminate the problematic of meaning in forms of postmodern visual art. Metaphoric imagination and metaphor are used for metaphor is a principle of articulation, not a figure of speech. Aesthetic projects connect with the lifeworld in a hermeneutic circle of meaning.

Trata-se, mais especificamente, de uma análise do parágrafo único do artigo 927 do Código Civil Brasileiro, interpretado como cláusula geral de responsabilidade objetiva. A metodologia investigativa adotada centrou-se na pesquisa bibliográfica. Como fundamentação teórica, o trabalho baseia-se na coletânea “O Justo”, de Paul Ricoeur. Por isso mesmo, este trabalho tem clara interseção com o pensamento ético e com as teorias da justiça. O trabalho destaca a interpretação de Ricoeur a respeito da Teoria da Justiça de John Rawls. Em termos estruturais o trabalho divide-se em quatro capítulos, o primeiro apresenta o estado da arte e indica os rumos da nossa investigação. O segundo trata da evolução do conceito de responsabilidade, tal como exposto por Ricoeur. O terceiro trata do nosso fundamento: a teoria da justiça de Rawls, reinterpretada por Ricoeur e, o quarto, encaminha nossas observações finais. / This work focuses on strict liability. It is, more specifically, an analysis of the sole paragraph of Article 927 of the Brazilian Civil Code, read as a general clause of strict liability. The research methodology adopted focused on the literature search. As theoretical framework, the work is based on the compilation "Le Juste" by Paul Ricoeur. Therefore, this work clearly has ties to the ethical thought and theories of justice. This work, moreover, emphasizes the interpretation of Ricoeur about the Theory of Justice by John Rawls. Structurally the work is divided into four chapters, the first presents the state of the art and indicates the direction of our investigation. The second deals with the evolution of the concept of responsibility, as outlined by Ricoeur. The third is our foundation: the Rawls’ theory of justice, reinterpreted by Ricoeur. The fourth, our concluding remarks.

Logo desenvolveu a sua base inicial: o percurso gerativo de sentido. No âmbito do percurso, o nível narrativo se tornou o mais desenvolvido, até a década de 1980, momento em que os estudos se voltaram para o desenvolvimento da semiótica das paixões e do nível discursivo. Neste trabalho, empreendemos um estudo desse desenvolvimento que se inicia com as influências estruturais e formalistas, passa pela consolidação do modelo de aplicação da semiótica narrativa e, então, culmina com as mudanças que fazem com que a semiótica dos anos 1980 não seja mais a mesma da década de 1960. Buscamos na Historiografia Linguística a metodologia para nos respaldar nesse percurso que foi traçado em três etapas: a primeira, sobre as origens da semiótica narrativa, com a retomada dos estudos de V. Propp e de Lévi-Strauss; a segunda etapa, sobre a cronologia das obras greimasianas partindo da Sémantique structurale (1966) até Du Sens II (1983); e a terceira etapa, na qual buscamos compreender os impasses da teoria em pelo menos três questões levantadas e discutidas pelo filósofo P. Ricoeur: (1) sobre a lógica das conversões entre os níveis profundo e superficial, (2) a questão da temporalidade e (3) sobre a semiótica ser uma teoria interpretativa, ou seja, não somente explicativa, mas também compreensiva. Dessa forma, compreendemos que Greimas partiu dos estudos narratológicos de Propp e dos estudos do mito de Lévi-Strauss e definiu os elementos que tornaram a semiótica narrativa um paradigma científico. Esse paradigma, no entanto, não permanece restrito às suas características iniciais. E é a partir das questões ricoeurianas que correspondem a alguns dos impasses que o paradigma apresentou que pudemos compreender seu percurso de desenvolvimento e mudança / Generative Greimassian semiotics began its theoretical path with the proposal of a generative, general and discursive semantics. Its pillar was soon developed: the generative trajectory of meaning. With its complexification, the narrative level became the most developed, until the 1980s, when the focus of study shifted to the development of the Semiotics of passions and of the discursive level, and beyond the trajectory. We carried out a study of this path of development, which begins with the structural and formalist influences, taking in the consolidation of the model of application of narrative semiotics, and culminating with the changes that have led to Semiotics of the 1980s being different from what it was in the 1960s. We adopted the Linguistic Historiography and methodology as bases of this path, outlined in three stages: the first one, on the origins of narrative semiotics, with the return to the studies of V. Propp and Lévi-Strauss; the second stage about the chronology of the Greimassian works, starting with Sémantique structurale (1966) until Du Sens II (1983); and the third stage, in which we sought to understand the impasses of the theory in at least three questions raised and discussed by the philosopher P. Ricoeur: (1) the logic of the conversions among the deep and the surface levels; (2) the “temporalization” and (3) Semiotics as an interpretive theory, i.e. not merely explanatory, but also comprehensive. Thus, we understand that Greimas started from Propp’s narratological studies and the studies on the myth, by Lévi-Strauss, defining the elements that made the narrative semiotics one scientific paradigm. This paradigm, however, does not remain restrict to its initial characteristics. O projeto literário de António Lobo Antunes engloba, entre as muitas peculiaridades de sua técnica romanesca, a produção de sentidos ficcionais que questionam a linearidade temporal, o significado do «eu» e os múltiplos planos memorialísticos, incluído suas patologias e limitações. O estilhaçar das alteridades dos sujeitos ficcionais se expressa em uma textualidade ambígua, consoante às mais recentes visões formuladas sobre a identidade humana, a qual se revela fragmentada e em contínuas reformulações. O propósito do estudo é analisar, nos romances Eu hei-de amar uma pedra e Ontem não te vi em Babilónia, a forma como a organização do tempo, as concepções de sujeito, o trabalho de representação da memória e as estratégias de esquecimento estão articulados nesses textos. Os romances, objetos de nosso estudo, são colocados em um plano plural e ambivalente, pois veiculam um discurso que revela a degradação e as ruínas morais das personagens, a flagelação do indivíduo, em suas íntimas peculiaridades, frente às angústias da existência. No âmbito interpretativo são consideradas as formulações hermenêuticas de Paul Ricoeur, explanadas, sobretudo, em Tempo e narrativa, O si-mesmo como um outro e A história, a memória e o esquecimento. O filósofo considera que a imaginação exerce um papel decisivo na elaboração da identidade narrativa que, como demonstra a escrita antuniana, não se apresenta em um quadro estável. Portanto, sob a tríade dos elementos tempo, identidade e memória, interpretados como instáveis, múltiplos e contraditórios, é investigado como as personagens ficcionais apresentam, nas projeções de suas lembranças e esquecimentos, a expressão de sofrimentos e traumas. Tais elementos, capazes de reelaborar o passado no presente da narrativa, acionam recursos da imaginação e da liberdade ficcional em histórias que se ocupam em indagar as estratégias e limites da criação literária. / Antonio Lobo Antune’s literary project embodies, besides his various peculiar novelistic techniques, the production of fictional meanings which question the temporal linearity, the meaning of the «self» and the multiple plans of memory, including their pathologies and limitations. The splintering of the fictional subjects’ alterity expresses itself in a textual ambiguity according to the most recent formulated views about the human identity which reveals itself fragmented and in continual reformulation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the way how, time organization, the conception of the subject, the work of memory representation and the oblivion strategies are articulated in the novels I shall love a stone and Didn’t see you in Babylon yesterday. These novels are put in a plural and ambivalent plan, for they convey a discourse that reveals the degradation and the moral ruin of the characters, the flagellation of the individual in his/her intimate peculiarities before the anguish of existence. Within the framework of interpretation Paul Ricoeur’s hermeneutic formulations are considered, they are especially explained in Time and narrative, Oneself as another and Memory, history and forgetting The philosopher considers that imagination plays a decisive role in the elaboration of the narrative identity, which does not show a stable scenario, as demonstrates Antunes’s writing. It is investigated, therefore, under the triad of the elements: time, identity and memory, all interpreted as unstable, multiple and contradictory, how the fictional characters project in their memories and oblivion the expressions of suffering and traumas. Such elements are capable of reconstructing the past in the time of enunciation of the narrative; they activate resources of the imagination and fictional freedom in stories that are engaged in questioning the strategies and boundaries of the literary creation.

O foco específico do trabalho é demonstrar que a ética jurídica é subjacente à Constituição e, por consequência, de todas as normas que dela derivem. Será discutida a relação da Ética com o Direito, fundamentada nas reflexões de Ricoeur acerca do conceito de instituições justas. Para tanto, será avaliado o significado de justiça pertinente aos questionamentos éticos do Poder Judiciário brasileiro contemporâneo, de modo a vislumbrar qual o papel da Ética na interpretação do Direito consagrado pela Constituição Federal de 1988. Será defendido, ao final, que o valor justiça proposto por Ricoeur está previsto na Constituição Brasileira vigente pelo princípio-valor da igualdade fática.

The analysis of the texts that make up the corpus has privileged, from each one of the texts, which can be related with three themes: man/ideology, man/past and man/literature. Based on the theoretical formulations, especially the one’s by Paul Ricoeur and Javier del Prado Biezma, this study demonstrates the identification of recurrent thematic fields in the narrative and structural marks left by the Self in the texts. These aspects made it possible to trace the presence of the subject that is expressed through writing and also the definition of a Saramago’s autobiographical space. / O presente estudo buscou delimitar o espaço autobiográfico de José Saramago através da identificação da manifestação da subjetividade presente em suas crônicas, seu livro de memórias (literatura confessional) e seus romances (literatura ficcional). A análise dos textos que compõem o corpus privilegiou passagens de cada uma das obras, relacionadas com três núcleos temáticos que nortearam o trabalho: homem/ideologia, homem/passado e homem/literatura. Com base, especialmente, nas formulações teóricas de Paul Ricoeur e Javier del Prado Biezma, o estudo identificou campos temáticos recorrentes nas narrativas e marcas estruturais deixadas pelo Eu nos textos. Esses aspectos possibilitaram o rastreamento da presença do sujeito que se expressa através da escrita e, assim, a definição de um espaço autobiográfico saramaguiano.
