This thesis discusses children's operas by J. Uhlir and Z. Sverak. It consists of brief biographies of both authors, summary of the origin of literary stories - fairy tales for simple librettos written by Z. Sverak, the theoretical implementation of the concept of children's operas and a practical analysis of each opera: Budulinek, Karkulka (Little Red Riding Hood), O dvanacti mesickach (The Twelve Months), Sipkova Ruzenka (Sleeping Beauty). Structural analysis has then been applied - the operas were divided into scenes, each musically analysed in terms of their melodies, harmonies and forms. Next, possible didactically challenging parts have been identified and how to use these rhythm, intonation and language issues for lesson planning have been suggested. In the next part of the thesis, the afore-mentioned issues have been empirically verified using the following methods - observation, practical class-leading and reflexive analysis of video recordings. 本研究旨在探討利用Big6技能教學於高中一年級學生小論文寫作課程學習成效,並根據研究結果提出閱讀教師對於小論文寫作教學之改善建議,提供高中教師日後進行專題式教學之參考。
本研究採準實驗研究法、觀察法、文件分析法及訪談法,以兩班高中一年級學生為研究對象,一班為接受「Big6技能」小論文寫作教學之實驗組學生,一班為接受傳統分段寫作教學之控制組學生,兩班學生皆由研究者進行教學,進行為期十週共十二堂之實驗教學課程,在教學前後,對研究對象實施前測、後測,藉以了解學習成效是否有顯著的差異。
依據資料分析與研究結果,歸納出以下結論:
一.小論文寫作主題課程內容規畫宜在Big6技能教學中加入分段寫作教學指導。
二.學生學習成效表現在量的提升有明顯效果,在質的提升未達顯著差異。
三.小論文寫作教學宜有教師社群協作進行指導。
最後,根據研究結果,提出對高中教師進行Big6技能小論文寫作教學及未來研究之建議。 / This study aims to discuss the application of learning Big Six Skills to high school students' learning effect on essay writing course. Based on the research results, reference to high school teachers of the essay writing course into the instruction for pupils is proposed.
With experimental research, observation method, documentary analysis, and interview, two classes of High school first grade students are studied. Students in the same class as one experimental group. One class receives the instruction of Big Six Skills, the other class which as the control group receives traditional instruction in essay writing class. Both classes are instructed by the researcher for 12 sessions in 10 weeks. In order to understand whether the difference is significant or not, students are preceded pretest and post-test before and after the instruction.
According to the data analysis and the research results, the following conclusions are summarized.
1.The essay writing course content planning should be in the Big Six skills teaching into the traditional writing teaching guidance.
2.The performance of students' learning effectiveness has obvious effect in improving the quality, but there is no significant difference in qualitative improvement.
3.The teaching of essay writing should be guided by cooperation of teachers.
Finally, according to the research suggestions for high school teachers of essay writing and future research are proposed according to the research results.

Tsiri : Padinyana ya Madiba (Sepedi)Thobejane, Mamphofore Mack 23 February 2010 (has links)
In his monograph on Sepedi/North Sotho, Groenewald (1993:19) describes Moses Josiah Madiba as one of the first authors of didactic or moral tales. He also points out that Madiba’s contribution includes other kinds of works, such as poetry and school readers. Groenewald (1993:19) emphasises Madiba’s pioneering role in the development of literature in Sepedi. Because he was one of the earliest writers in Sepedi, his influence on the development of this literature should not be underestimated. In this study, the focus is therefore on the writing of Madiba as an author, but only his novelette Tsiri (1953) is selected for specific analysis. In the analysis, the content and structure of the work are discussed in detail and they are interpreted against the historical background of Sepedi literature in order to highlight Madiba’s place in this literature. The descriptive model used in this study is an adaptation of the narratological model. It requires a comprehensive definition of the relevant concepts. In this case a distinction is made between the theme and topic as concepts. The elements of the content, namely the characters, the action, the milieu and historical time, are defined precisely. The novelette deals with the difficult life circumstances encountered by the protagonist, which result in his falling into a life of laziness. The relationship that develops between the various characters is highlighted in terms of the topic. The historical course of the facets of the action is described. The various time aspects are closely examined, after which the milieu is discussed. The entire discussion is situated in an historical framework in order to reveal the importance of Madiba in the history of this literature. The structure of the work is discussed in four sections. First, the theme of the story, the narrative strategy, the title and the pillars on which the structure rests are discussed. Second, characterization is explored, with particular emphasis on Tsiri and his father, Madubaduba, who respectively represent the negative and positive poles in the novelette. This includes a discussion of the various narrative techniques which are used to persuade the reader to accept Tsiri after he repents. Third, the milieu is described in as far as it supports the theme. It contributes to the rationale for the turning point in Tsiri’s life. The milieu is functionally incorporated by means of a multitude of techniques. Fourth, the study focuses on the action, which presents the events in terms of an exposition, the development, climax and dénouement. Once the author has indicated the conflict between the main characters, he uses a variety of narrative moments to increase tension. In particular, he uses changes of the point of view and focalisation extensively. As can be expected in the early works in any literature, there are some bothersome structural flaws, and in this case they are related specifically to the use of the different points of view, where there is no clear rationale for the presence of the author’s moralisation. Although this flaw is pointed out, this does not imply a negative critical analysis of the work. The fact remains that Madiba writes in a flowing narrative style and that his Sepedi language usage is impeccable, which makes him an important pioneer in the history of Sepedi literature. His pioneering work in the educational arena positions him as a champion of the Sepedi language. Further studies could evaluate his other novelettes and poems against this background. AFRIKAANS : In sy monografie oor die Sepedi/Noord Sotho letterkunde beskryf Groenewald (1993:19) Moses Josiah Madiba as een van die eerste skrywers van die didaktiese of morele verhaal. Hy wys ook daarop dat Madiba se bydrae ander werke insluit, byvoorbeeld gedigte en skoolleesboeke. Groenewald (1993:19) beklemtoon Madiba se baanbrekerswerk in die Sepedi letterkunde. Omdat hy een van die vroegste skrywers in Sepedi was, mag sy invloed op die ontwikkeling van hierdie letterkunde nie onderskat word nie. In hierdie studie word die ondersoek derhalwe op die skrywerskap van Madiba toegespits, maar slegs die novelle Tsiri (1953) word vir spesifieke ontleding uitgesonder. In die bespreking word die inhoud en die struktuur van die werk indringend beskryf en dit word teen die historiese agtergrond van die Sepedi letterkunde geïnterpreteer om sodoende Madiba se plek in hierdie letterkunde duidelik uit te lig. Die beskrywingsmodel wat in hierdie studie gebruik word, is ‘n aanpassing van die narratologiese model. Dit vereis ‘n volledige omskrywing van die begrippe wat ter sprake kom. In hierdie geval word daar tussen die tema en die onderwerp as begrippe onderskei. Ook die elemente waaruit die inhoud bestaan, naamlik die karakters, die handeling, die milieu en historiese tyd, word presies omskryf. Die novelle handel oor die hooffiguur se moeilike lewensomstandighede, wat daartoe bydra dat hy in luiheid verval. Die verhouding wat tussen die verskillende karakters ontwikkel, word ten opsigte van die onderwerp uitgelig. Die historiese verloop van die fasette van die handeling word beskryf. Die verskillende tydsaspekte word onder die loep geneem, waarna die milieu bespreek word. Die hele bespreking word binne ‘n historiese raamwerk geplaas sodat die betekenis van Madiba in die geskiedenis van hierdie letterkunde na vore kom. Die struktuur van die werk word in vier afdelings behandel. Eerstens word die tema, die vertelstrategie, die titel en pilare waarop die struktuur staan, bespreek. Tweedens word karaktertekening nagegaan; en hier val die kollig op Tsiri en sy vader Madubaduba, wat onderskeidelik die negatiewe en positiewe pole in die verhaal verteenwoordig. Dit sluit ‘n bespreking in van die verskillende verteltegnieke waardeur die leser oorgehaal word om Tsiri, na sy berou, te aanvaar. Derdens, word die milieu beskryf en wel in soverre dit die tema ondersteun. Dit dra daarom by dat die keerpunt in Tsiri se lewe gemotiveer word. Deur ‘n veelheid van tegnieke word die milieu funksioneel ingespan. Vierdens val die klem op die handeling wat onder vier hoofde aan die orde kom, te wete die eksposisie, die ontwikkeling, die klimaks en die ontknoping. Nadat die outeur die botsing tussen die hooffigure aangedui het, kom hy met ‘n verskeidenheid vertelgrepe vorendag om die spanning uit te bou. Daar word veral gebruik gemaak van gesigspuntwisseling en fokussering word ekstensief aangewend. Soos te wagte in enige vroeë werk in ‘n letterkunde, kom daar hinderlike struktuurfoute voor, en in dié geval lê dit juis by die aanwending van die gesigspunttegnieke, waar die teenwoordigheid van die outeur se moralisering nie duidelik gemotiveer word nie. Hoewel die gebrek uitgewys word, lei dit nie na ‘n kritiese ontleding van die werk nie. Die saak is dat Madiba ‘n vloeiende vertelmanier het en dat sy taal in onbesproke Sepedi is, wat hom in die geskiedenis van die Sepedi letterkunde ‘n belangrike baanbreker maak. Sy pionierswerk op die gebied van die onderwys plaas hom as taalstryder voorop. In verdere studies sou sy ander novelles en gedigte teen hierdie agtergrond beoordeel kan word. A Study of Selected Pedagogical Aspects of Two Intercultural Pieces for Late Intermediate and Early Advanced Students: "Variations sur un thème populaire coréen" by Sung-Ki Kim and "Six Pieces for Piano ‘Nori'" by Chung-Sock KimChoi, Yujin 12 1900 (has links)
I contend that young students should be introduced to intercultural contemporary music, as this exposure brings benefits to their artistic development and fosters appreciation of other cultures. Variations sur un thème populaire coréen by Sung-Ki Kim (b. 1954) and Six Pieces for Piano ‘Nori' by Chung-Sock Kim (b. 1940) are effective pedagogical works that fit perfectly into the intercultural mold mentioned above, and both are suitable for late intermediate or early advanced level students. A detailed comparison of these two works can help instructors understand the ways by which these composers incorporate Korean folk materials and blend them with Western contemporary techniques. An analysis of Sung-Ki Kim's Variations sur un theme populaire coréen and Chung-Sock Kim's Six Pieces for Piano ‘Nori' can be divided into three categories: harmony, rhythm, and performance-related aspects. By analyzing these two pieces, these study illustrates in greater depth their intercultural aspects, showing the way by which both composers merged traditional Korean folk idioms through the inclusion of traditional Korean rhythms, and the imitation of sounds of several traditional Korean instruments with Western contemporary technique such as non-traditional sounds and use of sostenuto pedal. Finally, this study provides some practicing suggestions and listing exercise on how to practice musical and technical challenges.

Uppsatsens syfte var att öka förståelsen för hur utredande socialsekreterare i arbetet med barn och unga förhåller sig till insatsen kontaktfamilj och vad som påverkar deras bedömning av den. I studien användes en kvalitativ metod och sammanlagt genomfördes nio intervjuer med yrkesverksamma socialsekreterare som arbetar med barn och unga. De teoretiska perspektiv som använts i studien är utvecklingsekologi och gräsrotsbyråkrati. Studiens resultat visar att kontaktfamiljsinsatsen är en insats med blandade åsikter och erfarenheter av. Det skiljer sig emellan socialsekreterarna vad som bedöms vara barnets bästa och det finns även en delad bild gällande om barnen har nytta av insatsen om den är riktad till barnets vårdnadshavare. Resultaten visar också att det saknas kriterier för när insatsen ska användas samt att de få riktlinjer som finns belyser när insatsen inte ska användas. / The purpose of the study was to increase the understanding of how Child welfare social workers address the intervention contact family and what factors impact their assessment of it. The study uses a qualitative method, and nine interviews were made with social workers who work with children and youngsters. The theoretical perspectives used in the study is ecological systems theory and street-level bureaucracy theory. The result of the study shows that the contact family is an intervention with divided views and experiences. What is seen as the best interest of the child differs between the social workers and there is also a divided opinion regarding the benefits for the children if the intervention is targeted at the parents. The results also show a lack of criteria of when the intervention should be used, and the few existing guidelines highlight when the intervention should not be used.

(ENG) This diploma thesis deals in a complex way with the theme of via crucis, from the kunsthistorical, social cultural and pedagogical point of view, therefore it is a connection of a theoretical study with an exploratory probe and also an art project. It analyses iconography and contexts of particular themes of passion cycle and it shows various appearance and current state of via crucis themselves in the Czech republic. At the same time this part aims to be an inspiration and a theoretical basis for teachers who would decide for the inclusion of a religious theme to the educational process. The thesis also indicates what pedagogical potential does a Christian theme imply in education and what educational aims stated in RVP could be achieved thanks to this theme. The thesis then deals with the theme of via crucis in the educational complex of art lessons and with the possibilities of didactic transformation of a passion story. The suggested and realized theme scheme maps the relationship and opinions of pupils and also the contribution and the difficulties of a religious theme used in educational process. De esta manera, las marcas que, hoy en día, se encuentran en la vanguardia de la implementación del marketing experiencial, son los restaurantes temáticos (cine, deporte, música, entre otros). Debido a que, se caracterizan por “trasladar” al cliente a otro espacio, a diferencia de un restaurante tradicional, gracias al servicio personalizado que brindan, y al tema y concepto que eligen poseer.

1 Abstract This master's thesis focuses on the influence of computer games with historical themes on the interest in contemporary history and history in general. It explains basic concepts such as game, digital media, computer game and educational game and introduces the main aspects of computer games. It also focuses on their benefits in education, but also draws attention to possible pitfalls of playing computer games and their impact on health and development of a young individual. Furthermore, the thesis describes game genres in which the most played games with historical themes can be found and introduces the game Attentat 1942. The next part of the thesis examines whether and how computer games with historical themes affect the interest in contemporary and general history through empirical research based on a questionnaire survey of 150 respondents aged 15-30. The results show that playing computer games with historical themes has an impact on young people's interest in contemporary and general history, and this influence is positive. Furthermore, the results show that the most popular game genres for games with historical themes are strategies, RPGs (role-playing games) and action games, and that players pay attention mostly to the story, gameplay and graphics in these games. Un nombre croissant de sources de données est publié sur le Web, décrites dans les langages proposés par le W3C tels que RDF, RDF(S) et OWL. Une quantité de données sans précédent est ainsi disponible pour les utilisateurs et les applications, mais l'exploitation pertinente de ces sources constitue encore un défi : l'interrogation des sources est en effet limitée d'abord car elle suppose la maîtrise d'un langage de requêtes tel que SPARQL, mais surtout car elle suppose une certaine connaissance de la source de données qui permet de cibler les ressources et les propriétés pertinentes pour les besoins spécifiques des applications. Le travail présenté ici s'intéresse à l'exploration de sources de données RDF, et ce selon deux axes complémentaires : découvrir d'une part les thèmes sur lesquels porte la source de données, fournir d'autre part un support pour l'interrogation d'une source sans l'utilisation de langage de requêtes, mais au moyen de mots clés. L'approche d'exploration proposée se compose ainsi de deux stratégies complémentaires : l'exploration thématique et la recherche par mots clés. La découverte de thèmes dans une source de données RDF consiste à identifier un ensemble de sous-graphes, non nécessairement disjoints, chacun représentant un ensemble cohérent de ressources sémantiquement liées et définissant un thème selon le point de vue de l'utilisateur. Ces thèmes peuvent être utilisés pour permettre une exploration thématique de la source, où les utilisateurs pourront cibler les thèmes pertinents pour leurs besoins et limiter l'exploration aux seules ressources composant les thèmes sélectionnés. La recherche par mots clés est une façon simple et intuitive d'interroger les sources de données. Dans le cas des sources de données RDF, cette recherche pose un certain nombre de problèmes, comme l'indexation des éléments du graphe, l'identification des fragments du graphe pertinents pour une requête spécifique, l'agrégation de ces fragments pour former un résultat, et le classement des résultats obtenus. Nous abordons dans cette thèse ces différents problèmes, et nous proposons une approche qui permet, en réponse à une requête mots clés, de construire une liste de sous-graphes et de les classer, chaque sous-graphe correspondant à un résultat pertinent pour la requête. Pour chacune des deux stratégies d'exploration d'une source RDF, nous nous sommes intéressés à prendre en compte de la connaissance externe, permettant de mieux répondre aux besoins des utilisateurs. Cette connaissance externe peut représenter des connaissances du domaine, qui permettent de préciser le besoin exprimé dans le cas d'une requête, ou de prendre en compte des connaissances permettant d'affiner la définition des thèmes. Dans notre travail, nous nous sommes intéressés à formaliser cette connaissance externe et nous avons pour cela introduit la notion de pattern. Ces patterns représentent des équivalences de propriétés et de chemins dans le graphe représentant la source. Ils sont évalués et intégrés dans le processus d'exploration pour améliorer la qualité des résultats. / An increasing number of datasets is published on the Web, expressed in languages proposed by the W3C to describe Web data such as RDF, RDF(S) and OWL. The Web has become a unprecedented source of information available for users and applications, but the meaningful usage of this information source is still a challenge. Querying these data sources requires the knowledge of a formal query language such as SPARQL, but it mainly suffers from the lack of knowledge about the source itself, which is required in order to target the resources and properties relevant for the specific needs of the application. The work described in this thesis addresses the exploration of RDF data sources. This exploration is done according to two complementary ways: discovering the themes or topics representing the content of the data source, and providing a support for an alternative way of querying the data sources by using keywords instead of a query formulated in SPARQL. The proposed exploration approach combines two complementary strategies: thematic-based exploration and keyword search. Theme discovery from an RDF dataset consists in identifying a set of sub-graphs which are not necessarily disjoints, and such that each one represents a set of semantically related resources representing a theme according to the point of view of the user. These themes can be used to enable a thematic exploration of the data source where users can target the relevant theme and limit their exploration to the resources composing this theme. Keyword search is a simple and intuitive way of querying data sources. In the case of RDF datasets, this search raises several problems, such as indexing graph elements, identifying the relevant graph fragments for a specific query, aggregating these relevant fragments to build the query results, and the ranking of these results. In our work, we address these different problems and we propose an approach which takes as input a keyword query and provides a list of sub-graphs, each one representing a candidate result for the query. These sub-graphs are ordered according to their relevance to the query. For both keyword search and theme identification in RDF data sources, we have taken into account some external knowledge in order to capture the users needs, or to bridge the gap between the concepts invoked in a query and the ones of the data source. This external knowledge could be domain knowledge allowing to refine the user's need expressed by a query, or to refine the definition of themes. In our work, we have proposed a formalization to this external knowledge and we have introduced the notion of pattern to this end. These patterns represent equivalences between properties and paths in the dataset. They are evaluated and integrated in the exploration process to improve the quality of the result.
