Ferramentas de governo: instrumentação e governança urbana nos serviços de ônibus em São Paulo / Tools of Government: instrumentation and Governance in the bus services in the city of São Paulo

O que é governar os serviços de transportes por ônibus? Este trabalho propõe uma abordagem própria capaz de especificar as particularidades do governo da provisão dos serviços de ônibus, da lucratividade na economia política urbana, das políticas públicas de transportes e suas principais transformações nas últimas quatro décadas no município de São Paulo, denominada aqui de circuitos da provisão. Argumento que estes são caracterizados pelo governo e legibilidade de três coisas amplamente interconectadas politicamente e sobrepostas no espaço: receita tarifária, veículos e dados operacionais referentes à coleta de passageiros. A partir destas considerações, defendo a centralidade da compreensão dos efeitos das ferramentas e tecnologias eletrônicas na estruturação de relações de poder, da lucratividade e do controle estatal sobre a prestação do serviços de ônibus. Por decorrência de seus modos de operação e suas passagens obrigatórias, instrumentos de políticas públicas tem organizado relações principal-agente entre Estado, empresas privadas e burocracias do nível de rua e um tipo particular de política da mensuração central na provisão. Estudando as últimas quatro décadas, este trabalho argumenta que este período pode ser caracterizado como um processo histórico de longo prazo da transição do padrão de governança analógica para o eletrônico. Por meio da reinstrumentação das políticas públicas, levadas a cabo, sobretudo, por governos de centro-esquerda, esta transição teve como principal resultado a expansão substantiva das capacidades estatais regulatórias e, em um caso que vai na contramão das teorias sobre o capitalismo regulatório, até mesmo da capacidade estatal de provisão. O que surge deste quadro é que não é possível sugerir relações de captura entre Estado e empresas privadas no município de São Paulo, mas sim de construção mútua. Isto é, de simbiose. / What is to govern the bus services? Through the category of provision circuits, this work proposes a framework of analysis capable of specifying the particularities of the delivery of bus services, profitability in the urban political economy, transportation policies and their main transformations in the last four decades. I argue that these circuits are featured by the governance and legibility of three things politically interconnected and spatially overlapped: ticket revenue, vehicles and passengers data. Based on this framework, I point to the centrality of tools and technologies effects in the structuring of power relations, profitability and state control over provision. By the effects of its operating ways and mandatory passages, policy instruments have organized principal-agent relations between State, private companies, street-level bureaucracies and, to some extent, a politics of mensuration. Studying the past four decades in São Paulo, this work argues that this period can be characterized as a process of long-term historical transition of an analogical governance pattern to an electronic one. By means of reinstrumentation of policies, put forward mainly by centre-left wing governments, this transition had as a main outcome a substantive expansion in both regulatory state capacities and provision capacities, pointing to the opposite direction of regulatory capitalism theories. What emerges from this picture is that is not possible to argue for capture relations between State and private companies, but mutual construction relations, that is, a sort of symbiosis.

Dans cette thèse est défendu l'intérêt d'évaluer la santé d'un système/objet industriel multi-composants à travers un bilan de santé multi-niveaux hiérarchiques. Elle a donc pour objet principal de justifier les éléments essentiels du concept de bilan de santé générique qui représente l'état réel d'un système sous la forme d'un vecteur d'indicateurs de différentes natures. Vis-à-vis de ce fondement, la thèse se focalise plus spécifiquement sur les fonctions de détection des anomalies-normalisation et agrégation d'indicateurs pour élaborer un index synthétique représentatif de l'état de santé global pour chaque élément du système. Il est ainsi proposé, une nouvelle approche de détection conditionnelle des anomalies. Cette approche a pour intérêt de quantifier la déviation pour chaque indicateur par rapport à son mode de comportement nominal tout en prenant en compte le contexte dans lequel évolue le système. Une extension à l'exploitation de l'intégrale de Choquet en tant qu'opérateur d'agrégation des indicateurs est aussi proposée. Cette extension concerne, d'une part, un processus d'apprentissage non supervisé des capacités pour le niveau le plus inférieur dans l'abstraction, à savoir celui des composants, et d'autre part, une approche de mise en oeuvre de leur inférence d'un niveau à l'autre. Ces propositions sont appliquées sur un moteur diesel de navire, système essentiel du projet BMCI du pôle MER-PACA dans lequel s'inscrit cette thèse / This work is addressing the health assessment of a multi-component system by means of multi-levels health check-up. Thus scientific Ph. D. objective aims to establish items of a generic health check-up concept. It focuses specifically on the functions of anomaly detection, normalization and aggregation of different indicators to develop a synthetic index representing the overall health status for each element within the system. In that way, it is proposed a new approach for detecting conditional anomalies. This approach has the advantage of quantifying the deviation for each indicator compared to its nominal behavior while taking into account the context in which the system operates. An extension of the Choquet integral used as an operator aggregating indicators is also proposed. This extension regards on the one hand, a process of an unsupervised learning of the capacity coefficients for the lowest level of abstraction, namely components level, and on the other hand, an approach to inference them from one level to another. These contributions are implemented on a ship diesel engine which is the most critical system for the BMCI project of the MER-PACA pole to which this thesis is attached

Génèse et évolution des compétences des élèves à la fin de l'école maternelle : éléments d'analyse à partir de données de panel et d'une expérimentation musicale / Genesis and evolution of the skills of the pupils at the end of the kindergarten

Nous nous proposons d’étudier, dans cette thèse, une question essentielle et relativement peu traitée dans les recherches françaises en sciences de l’éducation, elle concerne la genèse des acquisitions des élèves et leur évolution au cours de la scolarité. En nous appuierons sur la mobilisation des données longitudinales (panel 1997) ainsi que sur la mise en œuvre d'une expérimentation musicale à l'école maternelle, nous chercherons à répondre à ces questions : Comment se structurent et évoluent les premiers apprentissages des élèves dans le contexte scolaire et socioéconomique ? En quoi les capacités cognitives des élèves ont un impact sur leurs performances scolaires ? Est-ce que des activités spécifiques peuvent avoir un effet positif sur les compétences scolaires, via un accroissement des capacités cognitives ? Des analyses implicatives menées sur les données du panel ont mis en évidence la hiérarchisation des compétences des élèves et l’importance des capacités cognitives sur leur rendement scolaire. La revue de littérature regorge d’exemples probants qui attestent qu’il est possible d’accroitre les performances scolaires des élèves en développant certaines de ces capacités cognitives, et que la musique est un outil particulièrement efficace en ce sens. Nous avons donc cherché à tester empiriquement l’impact de la musique sur les capacités cognitives et sur les performances scolaires des élèves en effectuant une recherche expérimentale. Elle repose sur une méthodologie robuste qui garanti la validité des résultats qui en sont issus. Si les résultats des analyses de différence de différences, confirmés par les modèles de réponse à l’item, sont peu concluants quant à l’impact de la musique sur les progressions des capacités cognitives, nous avons montré et vérifié via le modèle d’Heckman que le traitement expérimental a un effet sur les performances scolaires des élèves. / We propose to study in this thesis, a key issue and relatively little discussed in the French research in educational sciences, it concerns the genesis of pupil learning and their evolution during the tuition. We mobilize a longitudinal data (Panel 1997) and the results of a musical experimentation in kindergarten to answer to these questions: How are structured the first acquisitions of pupils and how is it linked to the school context and socio-economic variables? How the cognitive abilities of students affect their academic performance? Are specific activities can improve academic skills through an increase in cognitive abilities? Implicative analysis conducted on panel data has revealed a hierarchical structure of students' skills and the importance of cognitive skills on academic performance. The review of the literature demonstrates that it is possible to increase the academic performance of students by developing some of these cognitive abilities, and that music is a particularly effective tool in this sense. Therefore, we sought to empirically test the impact of music on cognitive ability and academic performance of students by our experimental research. It relies on a robust methodology which guarantees the validity of results derived from it. The result of difference in differences analyzes, confirmed by item response theory, is inconclusive for the impact of music on the progression of cognitive abilities. However, we have shown and verified via Heckman model that the experimental treatment has an effect on the academic performance of pupils.

The purpose of this investigation is to analyze critically the production process of descriptions written in order to verify its incidence in the development of the language capacities in the educating of the Itagüí municipality. The investigation is located in the perspective of the quasi experimental investigation-action because the data were picked up during a formation process of educating with the control of some variables. The corpus is constituted by 26 descriptive texts, 13 initial versions and 13 final versions, whose analysis was carried out starting from the capacities implied in the understanding and/or production of a text. The theoretical references assumed for the apprehension of the study object are based on the advances of the textual linguistics, the social interaction psychology, the pedagogy and the didactics of languages. The finding results, as well as the discussion and interpretation of them, show the changes in the productions of the educating ones and the capacities implied on them: action capacities or production context, discursive capacities, linguistic-discursive capacities and capacities referred to the micro linguistic universe. The conclusions, highlight the advances achieved in the final versions of the descriptions, to level of the macro and micro linguistic universes, as well as the lacks that still remain in the educating ones in those same levels and possible rules to overcome them / A Corporação Educativa CLEBA tem assumido o enfoque da Pedagogia do Texto (PdT) para adiantar processos educativos, incluída a formação de educadoras; no entanto, até o momento no se conhecem de maneira sistemática, os aportes realizados pelo estudo dos diferentes gêneros textuais no desenvolvimento das capacidades de linguagem das educadoras. O propósito da pesquisa é analisar com crítica o processo de produção de descrições escritas com a finalidade de verificar sua incidência no desenvolvimento das capacidades de linguagem nas educadoras do município de Itagüí. A pesquisa localiza-se na perspectiva da pesquisa-ação quase-experimental, pois os dados foram recolhidos durante um processo de formação de educadoras com o controle de algumas variáveis. O corpus está constituído por 26 textos descritivos, 13 versões iniciais e 13 versões finais, cuja análise realizou-se desde as capacidades implicadas na compreensão e/ou produção de um texto. As referências teóricas assumidas para a apreensão do objeto de estudo baseiam-se nos avanços da lingüística textual, na psicologia sócio-interacionista, na pedagogia e na didática de línguas. Os resultados encontrados, assim como a discussão e interpretação dos mesmos, mostram os câmbios nas produções das educadoras e as capacidades implicadas nas mesmas: capacidades de ação ou contexto de produção, capacidades discursivas, capacidades lingüístico-discursivas e capacidades referidas ao micro universo lingüístico. Capacidades estatais, participação e políticas de juventude no Brasil (2003-2014)

Esta tese tem como objetivo analisar as capacidades do Estado brasileiro na gestão de políticas de juventude de 2003 a 2014. Com base na revisão bibliográfica e na pesquisa documental, concluímos que a combinação de fatores como coordenação interinstitucional, capacidades técnico-burocrática e inclusiva explicam o desempenho das políticas públicas de juventude. Porém, níveis intermediários de capacidade inclusiva, ora aferida pela atuação de conselhos e conferências, não são capazes de diagnosticar um desempenho satisfatório da política, já que baixos níveis de coordenação interinstitucional e de capacidade técnico burocrática comprometeram a efetividade dos processos participativos. Além dessas dimensões, o estudo demonstra que a ausência de um histórico de priorização da temática de juventude por parte de governos anteriores contribuiu para a ocorrência de baixos níveis de capacidade estatal. Mesmo com a criação de novas institucionalidades e a adoção de novos marcos legais para a juventude, a partir de 2004, ainda se reproduziu ações e programas emergenciais, sem constituir uma política de Estado com caráter transversal. / This research aims to analyze the Brazilian State capacity in the management of youth policies from 2003 to 2014. Based on bibliographic review and 6ocumentar research, we conclude that a combination of factors such as interinstitutional coordination, technical-bureaucratic and inclusive capacities explains the success of the public policies for the youth. However, intermediate levels of inclusive capacity, measured by council and conference, are not able to diagnose satisfactory policy performance. Low levels of interinstitutional coordination and technical-bureaucratic capacity have compromised the effectiveness of participatory processes. In addition, the study shows that the lack prioritization of the youth theme by previous governments contributes to low levels of state capacity. Even with new institutions and new legislation for the youth, since 2004, emergency actions have been reproduced, not characterizing a transversal policy.

Etude explicative de l’innovation à partir des connaissances : proposition d’une approche par les capacités / Knowledge based innovation : an explanatory study according to a capability approach

L’objet de cette thèse est l’analyse de l’innovation à partir des connaissances autour de l’approche Knowledge-Based Innovation (KBI) qui décrit l’innovation à travers le prisme de la connaissance. L’innovation s’apparente, foncièrement, à un processus de création, d’application et de diffusion de différents types de connaissances. Cette recherche se focalise sur la phase cognitive de l’innovation dont l’ancrage choisi a été celui d’une approche par les capacités. Nous cherchons alors à identifier les capacités organisationnelles qui sous-tendent l’innovation en amont et à expliquer comment ces capacités s’articulent pour favoriser l’innovation à partir des connaissances. A la lumière des développements théoriques effectués, nous avons élaboré notre modèle conceptuel de recherche qui consacre le rôle médiateur de la capacité d’absorption.La démarche méthodologique appliquée est qualimétrique. Deux études empiriques ont été menées. La première est qualitative, basée sur des entretiens exploratoires. Elle a permis, dans un premier temps, de décrire et d’illustrer les relations étudiées, et dans un second temps, d’affiner nos interrogations et de les enrichir par deux nouvelles propositions de recherche. La deuxième étude est quantitative. Elle s’est basée sur l’administration du questionnaire conçu, à des entreprises françaises œuvrant majoritairement dans le secteur industriel. Cette étude, basée sur la méthode des équations structurelles, a validé globalement le modèle développé en affirmant la médiation partielle de la capacité d’absorption, mais elle a rejeté, toutefois, l’existence de relations entre les investissements en R&D et la capacité d’absorption. / The purpose of this thesis is the analysis of the Knowledge-Based Innovation (KBI) which describes innovation through the prism of knowledge approach. Innovation seems essentially like a process of creation, application and dissemination of different types of knowledge. This research focuses on the cognitive phase of innovation explained according to a capability approach. We seek to identify organizational capabilities that sustain innovation and to explain how these capabilities are linked to promote innovation based on knowledge. We developed then a conceptual model that establishes the mediating role of absorptive capacity.Our methodology is based on two empirical studies. The first is qualitative, based on exploratory interviews. It enabled to illustrate the studied relationships, to refine our questions and to enrich the conceptual model with two new research proposals. The second study is quantitative. It is based on the administration of the questionnaire designed for French companies which operate mainly in the industrial sector. This study, based on a structural equation method, validated the overall developed model. It asserted the partial mediation of the absorption capacity. However the existence of relationships between investment in R&D and absorptive capacity was rejected

Peut-on considérer qu'un groupe de jeunes enfants entre 5 et 11 mois interagissant entre eux, peut constituer un contexte d'acquisition particulier avec des bénéfices spécifiques sur un accès au langage et à la communication ? D'abord nous devons déterminer s'il existe une dynamique entre très jeunes pairs d'âge et ensuite examiner quelle serait sa qualité. Prenant comme cadre de référence les interactions entre mère et enfant déjà caractérisées dans la littérature scientifique, l'observation et l'analyse d'un corpus transversal et longitudinal recueilli en milieu de crèche francophone à Paris en 2006 montrent comment certains enfants interagissent entre eux. Afin d'organiser les données, cette dynamique a été classifiée en trois procédés proto-communicatifs : l'attention conjointe, les interactions et les proto-actes du langage, qui ont été chacun, articulés par types. L'analyse qualitative de ces données met en évidence des caractéristiques équivalentes et plus performantes que celles des procédés proto-communicatifs décrits entre mère et enfant. L'observation de l'interaction entre très jeunes pairs d'âge peut constituer un nouveau support de données utiles pour comprendre l'accès au langage et à la communication chez l'enfant. / Can a group of very young infants, between 5 and 11 months of age, interacting together provide an acquisition context with specific benefits of access to language and communication ? First we must determine if a communicative dynamic between very young peers exists and then examine its relevant qualities. Taking as a framework the already theorized interactions between mother and infant, the analysis of transversal and longitudinal data collected from a French nursery in Paris in 2006 shows some babies interacting with each other. In order to organize the data, this dynamic has been classified into three proto-communicative processes; joint attention, interactions and proto-speech acts. Qualitative analysis of peers interactions data shows equivalent and more advanced capacities than those of proto-communicative processes described between mother and infants. These results demonstrate that interactions between very young aged peers may provide a new panel data to understand the access to language and communication in children.

Étude des capacités de dispersion de Monochamus galloprovincialis vecteur du nématode du pin Bursaphelenchus xylophilus / Dispersal capacities of Monochamus galloprovincialis vector of the pinewood nematod Bursaphelenchus xylophilus

Le nématode du pin Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, originaire des Etats-Unis, est responsable de dépérissements massifs dans les forêts de pin des pays où il a été introduit. Il utilise comme vecteur un insecte du genre Monochamus, notamment M. galloprovincialis en Europe. L’objectif de cette thèse est de fournir des informations concernant les capacités de dispersion de ce coléoptère afin de mieux prédire le risque d'invasion. A l'aide d'expériences en manège de vol, nous avons montré que les adultes émergents, encore immatures, sont déjà en mesure de maintenir des vols soutenus. Ils peuvent parcourir une distance d'environ 500m par jour et les capacités de vol augmentent avec la prise de poids pendant la phase de maturation sexuelle. Il n'existe pas de compromis d'allocation de l'énergie entre fonctions de dispersion et de reproduction pendant cette période et nous proposons de qualifier ces insectes de "income breeder" et "capital disperser". A l'état mature M. galloprovincialis est capable de voler un total de 16 km, avec des vols individuels d'environ1 km; ces performances augmentent avec l'âge et le poids des insectes. Le maintien des capacités de vol tout au long de la vie adulte de M. galloprovincialis conduit à proposer que les distances potentiellement parcourues dépendent surtout de la longévité de l'insecte. Dans une expérience d'élevage en conditions contrôlées nous avons montré que la vie adulte dure au moins 4 mois, augmentant quand les fluctuations thermiques sont atténuées. Ces résultats ont des implications pour la gestion de B. xylophilus en Europe puisqu'ils démontrent que la méthode d'éradication par coupe rase sur un rayon de 500m est probablement inopérante. / The pinewood nematode (PWN) Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, native to the USA, is responsible of the pine wilt disease, causing large economic losses in the pine forests of all countries where it has been introduced. It uses as vector an insect of the genus Monochamus, e.g. M.galloprovincialis in Europe The objective of this thesis is to provide information about the dispersalabilities of, this beetle in order to better predict the spread rate of the PWN. Using flight mill experiments, we showed that immature adult beetles were able to fly since their emergence. The meanflight performance was ca. 500m per day, increasing with weight gain during the maturation period.There was no trade-offs in energy allocation between reproduction and dispersion. We therefore suggest that M. galloprovincialis is both "income breeder" and "capital disperser". Mature beetles were able to fly a total of 16km on average during their lifetime, with individual flights of ca. 1km. Flight performances increased with age and body weight, being equal for males and females. Because flight capacity remained constant across time, we suggested that the total distance potentially covered by beetles was mainly driven by their longevity. In a rearing experiment under controlled conditions we estimated the adult lifespan at 4 months. It was reduced under temperature regime with higheryearly thermal fluctuations. These results have important implications for the management of the PWN since they demonstrate that precautionary clear-cuts of 500m radius are likely to be ineffective in eradicating the disease.

Modélisation de facteurs associés à une perception d'insuffisance lactée

Peu de femmes atteignent la recommandation internationale d’un allaitement exclusif d’une durée minimale de 6 mois malgré ses nombreux bienfaits pour l’enfant et pour la mère. Une raison fréquemment mentionnée pour la cessation précoce de l’allaitement ou l’introduction de préparations commerciales pour nourrissons est l’insuffisance de lait. L’origine de cette perception maternelle demeure toujours inexpliquée bien que sa prévalence dans les écrits soit bien documentée. L’insuffisance lactée relève-t-elle de pratiques d’allaitement qui contreviennent au processus physiologique de la lactation ou relève-t-elle d’un manque de confiance maternelle dans sa capacité d’allaiter? Une meilleure compréhension des déterminants de la perception d’insuffisance lactée (PIL) s’avère primordiale, un manque d’interventions infirmières permettant de prévenir, dépister et soutenir les femmes allaitant percevant une insuffisance lactée ayant été identifié. Cette étude visait à déterminer l’apport explicatif de variables biologiques et psychosociales de 252 femmes primipares allaitant sur une PIL. Une modélisation de facteurs associés à la PIL a été développée à l’aide de l’approche synthèse théorique comportant les variables suivantes: les événements entourant la naissance, les capacités infantiles et maternelles, la supplémentation, le sentiment maternel d’efficacité en allaitement, la PIL et les pratiques d’allaitement. Afin de mieux comprendre comment se développe et évolue la PIL, un devis prédictif confirmatif longitudinal a été privilégié de la naissance à la 6e semaine postnatale. Au T1, soit le premier 24 heures suivant la naissance, les participantes ont complété un questionnaire concernant leur intention d’initier et de maintenir un allaitement exclusif pour une durée de 6 mois. Au T2, soit la 3e journée postpartum, les femmes complétaient un 2e questionnaire regroupant les différentes mesures utilisées pour l’étude des variables de la modélisation PIL, incluant le prélèvement d’un échantillon de lait maternel. À la 2e semaine, soit le T3, les femmes complétaient un questionnaire similaire à celui du T2, lequel était envoyé par la poste. Finalement, au T4, soit à la 6e semaine, une entrevue téléphonique semi-dirigée concernant les pratiques d’allaitement a été réalisée. La vérification des hypothèses s’est faite principalement à l’aide de tests de corrélations de Pearson, d’analyses de régressions et d’équations structurelles. Les résultats indiquent une influence simultanée des capacités infantiles et du sentiment maternel d’efficacité en allaitement sur la PIL au T2 et au T3; le sentiment maternel d’efficacité en allaitement exerçant de surcroit un effet médiateur entre les capacités infantiles et la perception d’insuffisance lactée au T2 et au T3. Des interventions ciblant le développement d’un sentiment maternel élevé d’efficacité en allaitement devraient être privilégiées. / Few mothers achieved the international recommendation of 6 months exclusive breastfeeding even though it’s numerous benefits both for mother and baby. Perceived insufficient milk (PIM) is a frequent reason reported by mother for stopping breastfeeding or introducing commercial milk products, especially in the first 6 weeks. Although consensus about its prevalence exists in the literature, the origin of this perception is still unexplained. Does PIM result from breastfeeding mismanagement which interferes with lactation physiologic processes or does it results from a lack of maternal confidence? This critical gap in the knowledge of determinants of PIM limits nursing intervention development. The aim of this study is to determine the relative contribution of biological and psychological variables on PIM among a group mother’s 1st time breastfeeding. To allow a comprehensive understanding of the evolution of PIM, a predictive confirmative longitudinal design was implemented from birth to 6th week postnatal. PIM model was developed through theory synthesis and include the following key variables: birth events, infant capacities, maternal capacities, supplementation, breastfeeding self-efficacy, perceived insufficient milk and breastfeeding practices. This study’s sample consisted of 252 breastfeeding 1st time mothers that were contacted at 4 points in time. At T1, the first 24 hours following birth, the participants completed a questionnaire related to their intention to initiate and maintain 6 months exclusive breastfeeding. At T2 of the study, on the 3rd day postpartum, the women completed a 2nd questionnaire regrouping the different measures used for the PIM model key variables and hand-expressed breast milk sample. On the 2nd week, T3, the women completed a questionnaire comparable to the one at T2, which was sent by mail. Lastly, the 4th study time, at the 6th week, a semi-directed telephone interview was done regarding their breastfeeding practices. Statistical analyses included Pearson correlations, ascendant logistic regressions and SEM. The results suggest a simultaneous influence of infant capacities and breastfeeding self-efficacy on PIM on T2 and T3; breastfeeding self-efficacy exerting a mediating effect in between infant capacities and PIM at both T2 and T3. At T2, breastfeeding frequency was associated with a fall in Na+ breastmilk, indicating establishment of lactogenesis II. Interventions towards increasing breastfeeding self-efficacy should be developed.

Ce mémoire propose une étude du parcours de vie de Marcel Rioux qui cherche à saisir les conditions qui l’ont amené à incarner la figure de l’intellectuel au Québec à son époque. En effet, cette étude propose l’analyse de l’itinéraire social, tel que le suggère Bernard Lahire dans sa biographie sociologique, à l’origine de dispositions mentales et sociales, puis de ressources — héritées ou acquises au fil de l’itinéraire biographique de Rioux —, qui lui confère une position privilégiée dans la société; position en vertu de laquelle se forment l’autonomie et la liberté d’expression propres à l’engagement social et politique digne de lui conférer la qualité d’être intellectuel. C’est sur la base de la mobilisation de dispositions et de ressources particulières, qui prend la forme d’un rapport habitus et capital chez Pierre Bourdieu, propre à générer l’autonomie nécessaire à faire exister l’intellectuel dans son orbite et apte à légitimer sa position sur la scène publique, qu’il sera démontré en termes théoriques que n’est pas intellectuel qui veut. / This present master’s thesis proposes a study of the route of Marcel Rioux’s life in order to seize the conditions which lead him to embody the intellectual’s figure in Quebec in his time. Indeed, this study proposes the analysis of the social route, such as suggests Bernard Lahire in his sociological biography, at the origin of mental and social capacities, then of resources — inherited or acquired in the course of the bibliographic route of Rioux —, which confers him this privileged position in society; position by virtue of which form the autonomy and the freedom of expression for the social and political commitment conferring him the quality to be intellectual. On the basis of the mobilization of capacities and particular resources, which takes the combined shape of habitus and capital for Pierre Bourdieu, appropriate to generate the autonomy needed to make the intellectual exist in his orbit and capable of legitimizing his position on the public scene, it will be demonstrated in theoretical terms that is not intellectual whoever wants to be.
