CAI of Creative Mechanism Design

CHIU, Ning-Hsiung 04 September 2003 (has links)
Creative design of topological structure of mechanism (Creative mechanism design) is one of the important works on mechanical design. It¡¦s also the weakest part for domestic education on mechanism engineering design. So developing a multimedia CAI system is a better fortified manner. Texts about creative mechanism design have been developed. After that, we should carry out the construction of multimedia CAI system. The purpose of this research is to develop and construct the multimedia CAI system which will provide learners with a friendly and interactive learning tool. First, we will develop the texts using multimedia authoring software into multimedia teaching materials. Second, the friendly and interactive user interface will be constructed in order to enhance the good effects of teaching and learning. Finally, to establish the web pages of multimedia teaching materials on the World Wide Web will provide a directly, attracting and convenient learning way to help teaching and learning vividly, automatically and popularly. The results of this research will improve the ability of creative mechanism design for domestic students and the public.

Service Quality on Computerization of Residence Administration ¡Ð An Empirical Study of Kangshan Area

Jeng, Meei-Hwa 16 July 2002 (has links)
In the wave of globalization in recent years, in order to strengthen the competitiveness of their countries and make their administration meet the needs of the public, the governments of various countries have been trying their best to carry out different kinds of reforms. When extensively looking at most of these countries, it is found that their measures are generally based on two principles: reduction of administrative cost and promotion of efficiency. However, it has been examined and proved in history that under these principles, what the leading reformers always encountered were the ¡§double predicaments¡¨ they were beset with both at home and aboard. Therefore, in order to alleviate the predicaments, the administrative theorists and practicers thought of an idea of ¡§business government.¡¨ They intended to bring to government departments the concepts of risks, innovation and cost effects so as to promote the administrative effects, and remold the correctness and legitimacy of the ruling of the government. Peter F. Drucker once indicated in his book, ¡§Administrative Practices¡¨, ¡§The aims of business have to be existed beyond the business itself,¡¨ ¡§the aims of business have to be existed in society.¡¨ Comparatively speaking, the existence and reformation of the government have to take ¡§customer¡¦s value¡¨ as the major foundation of its administrative measures. It implies that people¡¦s voices should be added in the government¡¦s policies, and the government¡¦s administration should depend on ¡§customer orientation.¡¨ It also refers that a ¡§customer-oriented government¡¨ is a ¡§people-natured¡¨ government. Its ultimate purpose is to make people feel satisfactory. In Taiwan the computerization of household registration is one of the successful examples of reformation of the government. It takes the idea of ¡§customer-oriented¡¨ service as the base, adopts the advantages of information technology to replace the manual operation, rearranges the human resources and makes use of the simplification and innovation of servicing procedures. Consequently, it strengthens the two-way communication between the government and the public, and realize the provision of convenient service for citizens who are always regarded as ¡§the highest customers.¡¨ Based on these facts, the theories of the paper are established on the definition, origin and background of ¡§customer orientation.¡¨ It investigates its evolution in the development process of public administration and the application of its servicing spirit by the administrative departments of Taiwan. Household registration is the mother of general affairs. Not only the correctness of household registration affects the rights and obligations of people, even the population statistics of household registration is also an important reference for Taiwan government to plan their policies. Apart from promotion of the structural functions, will the computerization of household registration influence the quality and efficiency of the overall service? Taking the aspect of PZB service quality as the foundation, the paper designs a structural questionnaire for attaching to the random interviews, which are made with the people coming over to Household Affairs Department of Kangshan Town of Kaohsiung County to deal with their household registration problems. From the viewpoint of ¡§customer orientation,¡¨ the paper examines and verifies the meaning of computerization to the household registration departments of Taiwan and its influence to the administrative efficiency. The paper also investigates the public¡¦s satisfaction towards the overall service quality of the computerization of household registration, and how the household registration departments, after computerization at the current stage, will match the advanced information technology again, cross over various restrictions and create a new epoch of services.

Relationships Among Administrative Computerization, Hospital Size, and Administrative Expenses

Gallagher, Pamela J. 01 January 2016 (has links)
The healthcare industry is computerizing administrative functions in an attempt to reduce expenses and remain competitive. This correlational study of 3,088 Medicare-certified, short-term, acute-care hospitals in the United States was based on a general systems theory framework; it sought to examine the relationships among the independent variables of hospital size and administrative computerization and the dependent variable of administrative expenses. Secondary data from Health Information Management Systems Society's surveys and cost reports from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services were used. Correlation analyses with an alpha of .05 were used to test 3 of the 4 hypotheses; regression analysis was used to test the final hypothesis. Approximately 52% of the variance in administrative expenses was explained by the number of beds, a moderate-to-high relationship. Only 6.3% of the variance in administrative expenses was explained by the amount of administrative computerization, a significant but small relationship. Only 9% of the variance in administrative computerization was explained by the hospital size, a significant but small relationship. The results of this study can be used as a basis to determine whether investment in technology in administration will reduce health care expenses. Appropriate investment in technology can contribute to social change by reducing consumer health care costs.

The Research of Benefit on E-process with Cash management ¡V An Example of manufacturing industry

Liu, Yen-Chieh 16 February 2011 (has links)
Facing to the competition of global economic market,an enterprise have to get more chance of transaction with customers for the expansion in market, with the more frequent business, the more rich cash transaction will happen between company and company. And an enterprise surely need to have a good cash management system to help the people control the fund flow inside the enterprise, and people can dispatch the fund.We can rapidly and conveniently get the information about transaction by the E-Process and it will help the people to complete their job immediately. However, follow the change in our environment,or the replacement on government policy and the improvement on company strategy, the E-Process might be some flaw now and it create many trouble while a staff is doing jobs.In my research, there is a object to visit all the related people inside or outside the enterprise,in this way,I will collect the demand and suggestion about the cash process now,and find out a plan to solute the questions. The Accounts Payable is a important item in the company,it will appear when business action get into customer or supplier, also employee can get into it.For rapidly handling the Accounts Payable, accountants usually have their own opinion when using the E-Process.By recording the demand from accountants and to produce functions with process reengineering, and finally create a financial E-Process platform by QFD, this can be a reference to the top manager.

Job Susceptibility to Computerization by Demographic Characteristics: An Empirical Exploration

Harder, Elizabeth 01 January 2018 (has links)
Following developments in technological advancement and the ability to automate jobs in the 21st Century, the quantity and variety of jobs impacted by computerization has increased. Using data from the 2013 American Community Survey (ACS), this paper explores how demographic characteristics influence the probability of job computerization. I perform a linear regression and find evidence that differences in race, education, and gender significantly impact the probability of an individual’s occupation to be computerized. Specifically, Hispanics are the most at risk racial/ethnic group followed in order by blacks, Asians, and whites; increased education is associated with lower probability of computerization; and men are more susceptible to facing job automation than women.

La fraude et la dématérialisation du crédit documentaire

Rakotonanahary, Salohy Miadana 09 1900 (has links)
The international trade does not cease developing with the evolution of information technology nowadays. The documentary credit, which is an instrument of payment of the price of commercial services between an exporting salesman and an importing purchaser, is part of the field touched by the electronic evolution. This is why the international Chamber of Commerce of Paris recently adopted the Guide on the computerized letter of credit (eRUU), supplement to the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credit (RUU 500). The letter of credit must be based on a great confidence and an enormous safety. Thus, the fraud harms the principle of the autonomy of the letter of credit and destroyes the need for safety which it generates. The divergences relative to certain criteria of the fraud and the delimitation of the obligations of the bank in the checking of the documents on paper medium are complex enough for the international tradesmen and the banks. And even if the dematerialization of the documents tends to decrease the fraud on the matter, the dematerialized credit on security would be still far from being carried out without difficulties, with the direct emergence of the thirds in the operation. Its exhaustive analysis must then continue on the doctrinal level. The delimitation of the duty of the bank in the search for this electronic fraud, and in the payment of the electronic documents would become as debatable as that in the traditional documentary credit. The banks would have to be somewhat sensitized on the need for making certain provisions as soon as possible, to allow companies' customers to carry out presentations or electronic receptions of the documents of the letter of credit in conformity with the eUCP.

Elektronický platební rozkaz v civilním procesu / Electronic payment order in civil procedure

Spurná, Julie January 2012 (has links)
Electronic payment order in civil procedure Abstract Electronic payment order is introduced into the Czech legal system by the amendment of the Civil Judicial Procedure Rules no. 123/2008 Sb. implementing a new institution within the payment order procedure. Electronic payment order is presented as an institution able to help the Czech judiciary system within the shortened civil procedure by the application of the computerization of civil procedure. I decided to begin my thesis with a chapter trying to clarify the role of electronic payment order within the frame of the computerization of justice. I provided a brief account of the development and contemporary trends related to the computerization of justice and I approached the individual institutions which I regarded as appropriate to mention in order to understand the given institution within the whole context. The third chapter deals with reasons for which the institution was implemented into the Czech legal system. I carried out a detail analysis of the explanatory report to the Act introducing the institution of electronic payment order and I made an effort to outline the main reasons for the amendment and to arrange the objectives intended to be achieved by the implementation of the new institution. The third chapter focuses on the institution of the...

No. of bitstreams: 1 Jose Rosa da Fonseca.pdf: 7243755 bytes, checksum: be1ad685e94d0185a7d78596a8005141 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2014-09-15 / This research studies the existing technologies that can be used in education and what these technologies are used in the Escola Técnica Estadual Rubens de Faria e Souza, located in Sorocaba-SP, in teaching technical courses in its curriculum. A study on the evolution of technology in education drawing on the work carried out by researchers and educators, which is explained the difference between the concepts of automating and computerizing education was developed. For better understanding of the research was developed in the history of computing in education in Brazil, using as a basis for this research Laws Guidelines imposed by government agencies. It is described on technical education, its history and its importance throughout the history of the country, and as the keeper of the chosen school operates within the State of São Paulo. The study done by the data collected, the Guidelines cited, the work carried out by researchers and educators, we can see that there is a line of thought with regard to the actual use of technologies that part of the teachers use them only as a means of improving the appearance of their classes, and not to increase the development of knowledge by students, and some reasons given for this situation is the lack of financial investment, the allegation of lack of time and stimulation to meet the actual use of these technologies by both institutions, as even some teachers. For more specific details on the use of technology within the technical school was chosen Mechanical technician course. Through the study of the lesson plans, the site content and other information gathered was made a qualitative and quantitative survey of technologies available and used for the course, in which we can conclude that the teachers use the resources available, but appropriately in the functions of these resources / Esta pesquisa estuda as tecnologias existentes que podem ser usadas na área da educação e quais dessas tecnologias são utilizadas na Escola Técnica Estadual Rubens de Faria e Souza, localizada em Sorocaba-SP, no ensino dos cursos técnicos no seu currículo.
