Studie av materialhantering på Proton Finishing i Forsheda / A study in material handling processes on Proton Finishing in Forsheda

Lilliebladh, David, Svensson, Per January 2006 (has links)
The aim with this report was to exam and surveys the internal logistics of Proton Finishing’s production. The basic data should give the company suggestions of more efficient and improved internal logistics. We will also give from our perspective suggestions of improvement, which the company will be able to evaluate. To evaluate these problems we used different kinds of methods. A frequency study was made on the internal forklift. For that we used a predefined sheet where we once a minute registered what it were doing. With a stopwatch we registered how long time the operators spend in the storage. We also did interviews with the personnel to get their opinion on these matters. The study was conducted during a four day period, where these methods were used to study the work in the factory. The result that emerged are divided after which line/function the personnel worked on. The stopwatch survey showed that the personnel on hang 1 line spend time in the storage which they don’t suppose to do, according to their work assignment. The frequency study showed that the internal forklift spend one and a half hour a day to look after material. The study also showed that only 45 per cent of its work was useful work. Our conclusions after this report are that a storage software with all it’s components should be used. We have also given suggestion of more efficient material handling around the three lines in the A-sector.

Åhman, Olivia January 2023 (has links)
My degree project in interior architecture and furniture design is a collaboration with the organization Better Shelter, which offers temporary housing to people in emergency and crisis situations worldwide. The spatial context for the project is the accommodation's 17.5 square meters. By identifying interior needs in the room, the project attacks the lack of storage. The intention is to make it easier for the residents, with structure and order in their temporary housing, to create security and an increased well-being for the individual who uses these 17.5 square meters. Taking into account the existing materials, surface and components of the home, designs are investigated that enable participation and encourage individuals to independently create personal and functional homes. The spatial context is not geographically site-specific, but in the project the design is applied to northwestern Syria to demonstrate the potential connectionwith local and available resources.

Minskning av lagerhanteringskostnader för Beds by Scapa : Analys av zonindelning, artikelplacering, förvaringssystem samt lagerplatser och lagerhanteringssystem / Reduction of inventory management costs for Beds by Scapa : Analysis of zoning, product placement, storage system, stock location and warehouse management systems

Svensson, Ellinor, Kuburas, Medina, Lagerstedt, Lovisa January 2020 (has links)
Background: In order for companies to meet customer demand, they usually have a finished goods inventory of products to quickly deliver to customers. It thus becomes important for companies to maximize the stock and its design layout. The use of the warehouse should be done in such a way that the storage costs and handling costs are minimized. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to present a current status report of how Beds by Scapas finished inventory of bed mattresses and headboards is constructed within the warehouse, and to identify if there are any challenges and see if there are opportunities for improvements in inventory management. Method: This study is based on a qualitative and quantitative research method. Since the study is based on theoretical understanding, critical realism will be applied. The study is a case study in which empirical material is obtained from observations and interviews that have been both unstructured and semi-structured. When it comes to the quantitative method, data has been collected from the ERP system and measurements has been carried out.  Conclusion: The study has identified a challenge and improvement suggestions that exist for the bed mattresses and headboard sections through a current situation analysis. Two different alternatives have been presented where the first alternative is to use ABC-categorization and the second alternative is to improve the family grouping that is already in place.

Hur kan en intern materialhantering effektiviseras? : En intervjustudie

Khaton, Mirna January 2021 (has links)
Denna logistik i Företag A motsvarar ungefär 17 fotbollsplaner, vilket är väldigt stort.
