Svenska Fotbollsspelares Klassresor

Kanellos, Simon, Lundin, Mikael January 2018 (has links)
With narrative method, we investigate what happens with football players from Sweden whenthey go from national football to international football. Because of this profession, therespondents move in what Bourdieu calls the social space (Bourdieu 1986). Narrative methodhas given us a deep insight into our respondent´s experiences as professional football players inone of the five highest ranked leagues in Europe (UEFA 2018). The unstructured interviewsthat we used gave us a good empire. Through this approach, we try to capture the subjectiveexperiences of respondents (Kvale & Brinkmann 2014). The narratives of the respondentsdiffer in many ways, because of their background. This is something we have been given theopportunity to analyze with the unstructured interviews. The payroll increases dramatically, asattitude towards the teammates and the whole device around the individual changes. Ouranalyze can answer that a class trip is conducted when respondents go from national tointernational football. /
2018-06-07

Accounting and disclosure of football player registrations: Do they present a true and fair view of the financial statements? : A study of Top European Football Clubs

Bengtsson, Martin, Wallström, Johan January 2014 (has links)
The game of football has transformed from just being a game into a huge economic market attracting investors from all over the world. As clubs spend more and more money on player acquisitions, player registrations (considered intangible assets) now represent a significant part of the total assets of major European football clubs. Due to this, treatment of player registrations has become a significant accounting issue. The purpose is to analyze and compare from the perspective of an investor, how a sample of European football clubs account and disclose values of player registrations. The purpose aim to answer the questions how and what kind of information each club discloses on their financial statements. Also, are current accounting procedures and disclosure harmonized, and do they present a true and fair view of top European clubs financial status. A descriptive case study was the most appropriate as it aims to answer the questions “how” and “why”. A sample selection filter was set in the beginning of the process together with the research questions. The final sample was set to be: Arsenal FC, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus FC and FC Porto. The purpose of the selection filter was to get a study both fair on economical as well as competitive sports level. Primary data consist of information from annual financial reports, and in order to enhance validity, interviews with professionals have been conducted and used. Findings show similarities as well as differences in disclosure and treatment of football player registrations. All clubs meet the minimum requirements from IAS 38 and UEFA. However, how and what kind of information each clubs disclose differ substantially and due to lack of valuation models and the possibility to capitalize home-grown players and free agents, the value of player registrations is not presented in a true and fair view.

Kvinnliga fotbollsspelares erfarenheter av manligt respektive kvinnligt ledarskap : En kvalitativ studie om damfotbollsspelares erfarenheter av manliga respektive kvinnliga damfotbollstränare i Mellansverige.

Gustafsson, Martin January 2017 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to investigate how some women football players in Central Sweden experience how their male and female coaches exert their communication and leadership. The selection in the study consists of 4 women's football players with experiences of female and male football coaches at one level between Damallsvenskan-Division Two. The methodology for data collection is a qualitative interview with semi-structured nature. An inductive analysis method is used to analyze data. The result of the study shows that the perception of the players who have experiences of female and male football coaches does not differ significantly in the perception of leadership style. The perceived differences that the players describe are individual differences between the different coaches. Thus, there is no difference between female and male coaches. The result of the study shows that the players prefer a coach who is clear in the leadership. Openness and dialogue with the coaches are highly prioritized by the players.Which may indicate that the players in the study prefer a more democratic leadership then an authoritarian leadership. The conclusion from the study is that the experience of the women's football players of female and male football coach leadership styles is not gender-related.

This is the theme that guides this research which, on the basis of previous research about the dream of being a player and the performance of sport psychology in basic categories, aims to compose a cartography of the reality of the player who professionalizes, but does not occupy the positions of greater emphasis on large "shopping" of soccer nationally and internationally. Are these players generally considered by clubs, entrepreneurs and also by the public as products of less value in the market, but needed to maintain the operation of the competitions of the machine of professional soccer that attracts fans and investors while circulating anonymously by Australian soccer to as coadjuvants of soccer venues. In this sense, it is mapping practices of contemporary soccer, along with the studies of Michel Foucault on the government of the living, along with the studies of researchers in the area of humanities and social sciences about professional soccer. It seeks so to understand the governmentality of soccer venues; the effects of discipline and controls regulators in the production of modes of life of soccer players anonymous professionals; for where these circulating after the departure of the basic categories; catches, potential and resistance that keeps them in the profession and the effect socio-political produced from this reality / O futebol profissional e seus efeitos na produção de subjetividades na profissão de jogador.

Rydeberg, Herman, Kilvéus, Isabella January 2020 (has links)
The purpose of this study was to examine how the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet wrote and constructed their articles about the FIFA World Cup 2018 and the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019. The other purpose was to see if the Sweden men’s national football team and the Sweden women’s national football team got the same space in the newspaper and to see if the teams are portrayed in different ways. This study is based on both a quantitative content analysis and a critical discourse analysis. To do so we analyzed all of the articles that were published during both of the World Cups group stages. In total, the study examines 291 articles, split between two time periods. For our critical discourse analysis, we used six articles, all written the day after a game in the group stage. The great conclusion that was made in our study showed that Aftonbladet more often wrote about the Sweden men’s national football team then they did about the Sweden women’s national football team. It was also common that the articles constructed about the men’s team were more likely to be about their achievements and their game on the pitch when the articles about the women’s team were more likely to be about feelings and their personal life. A pattern that we could follow during our study was that it was more often male journalists wrote about the men’s World Cup and that women wrote about the women’s World Cup.
