Virtual Matching : Från fysisk till virtuell sampassning / Virtual Matching : From physical to virtual matching

Skog, Johan, Holm Bergstedt, Charlie January 2018 (has links)
Click her Towards a digitized world, the vast majority of working processes strive for computer-based tools. Scania applies the working process physical matching that is performed for matching and evaluating article's deviations. The purpose with the evaluation is to gain the highest visual quality of the trucks chassis. In this process, Scania uses RD&T (Robust Design & Tolerancing), a simulation program used to predict variations in compilations of articles. RD&T offers the Virtual Matching module that analyzes the variations between articles with real measurement data. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate w hether the Virtual Matching module can supplement or replace the physical matching process. A Virtual Matching-analysis has been performed between two articles with measure data on both articles. The working process with the Virtual Matching module has been evaluated and compared with the physical matching process at Scania. In conclusion, the Virtual Matching module can contribute as a complement in an early stage of physical matching processes which results in resource savings. An evaluation of an implementation process has been described together with proposals for further studies on similar work processes.e to insert text.

Movement in gestalt therapeutic intervention for adolescents with disruptive behavioural tendencies

Horn, Annamarie 30 November 2004 (has links)
Movement in Gestalt therapeutic intervention, using structured activities and free improvisations, is a successful alternative to punishing adolescents with disruptive behavioural tendencies in the classroom. An overview of the existing literature regarding the therapeutic value of movement in Gestalt therapeutic intervention for adolescents with disruptive behavioural tendencies is firstly presented. Various techniques supporting the adolescent in his quest to achieve equilibrium, ultimately improving his relationships with others and his environment, are described. A case study, involving eight adolescents with disruptive behavioural tendencies in group therapy follows, which indicates that movement in Gestalt therapy is an alternative to punishment. In the light hereof it is suggested that movement in Gestalt therapy could be implemented successfully in the formal school environment. This form of intervention can contribute to the adolescent's growth, his ability to communicate and his relationships with self, others and the environment, culminating in improved behavioural tendencies. / Social Work / M. Neither Here Nor There, But Altogether Elsewhere : A Brief Study of Distance

Chang, Jonathan January 2019 (has links)
Knowing is often framed by language; this moving arrangement of parts helps us make sense of our surround, rendering possible ways of relating, acting, and responding. Situated yet unsettled, the play of language enables us to mediate distances, to make sense of our frames while seeking other ways of being with and for. Through dialogue, these works attempt to reroute and reorient so that we may learn to see each other — and to see ourselves.

Enhancing Servo System Performance : Robust Nonlinear Deadbeat Predictive Current Control for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors / Förbättring av prestanda för servo system : Robust ickelinjär deadbeat förutsägande strömkontroll för permanenta magnet synkronmotorer

Zhao, Xingyu January 2023 (has links)
The Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM, also known as the servo motor) is a crucial component within robotic servo systems. To optimally respond to the torque demands sent from the high-level motion controller, the PMSM current controller must track the reference with speed and precision. Nevertheless, the operation of servo motors could be compromised due to the nonlinearity of flux linkage and inaccuracies in parameters induced by unpredictable fluctuations in temperature. This Master’s thesis proposes a novel Robust Nonlinear Deadbeat Predictive Current Control (RN-DPCC) scheme to counter these challenges effectively. The nonlinear mappings between flux linkage and current on the dq-axis are established using polynomial fitting based on experimental data. Furthermore, the Nonlinear Deadbeat Predictive Current Control (N-DPCC) is derived using nonlinear feedforward. Meanwhile, Delayed Integral Action (DIA) is introduced as a robustness-enhancing measure for N-DPCC, thus evolving it into the Robust N-DPCC (RN-DPCC). Compared to conventional Integral Action (IA), DIA effectively curtails overshoot triggered by integral error and accelerates the current transient without incorporating additional tunable parameters. Numerical simulations that leverage the mathematical modeling of the converter and nonlinear PMSM are implemented using fundamental blocks in Simulink, which replicates the actual experimental setup employed within the Motor Control Lab at ABB Corporate Research. The effectiveness of employing nonlinear feedforward compensation is confirmed through a comparative analysis of the simulation results from N-DPCC and conventional Deadbeat Predictive Current Control (DPCC). The enhancements in transient response brought about by DIA are demonstrated through a comparison of RNDPCC and N-DPCC with IA. The robustness of RN-DPCC is demonstrated by comparing it with N-DPCC under conditions where parameter inaccuracies are present.

Exploration of the healing ministry in the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC)

Tacheche, Nchangfu Florence 12 1900 (has links)
The renewal of interest in religious healing methods in the past few decades, in response to various perspectives of illnesses, is ‘blowing’ through the PCC-one of the reformed churches in Africa. There are two underlying assumptions in this project: the first is that sickness constitutes a major threat to good health and the second is that the ministry of healing in the PCC is not contextual in view of respecting and incorporating the cultural, social, religious beliefs and values of its people in the formation of meaningful healing ministry. The healing ministry of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon is lacking in efficacy and essence because it does not make much meaning in the lives of the sick and their relatives. This project gives an overview of some of the causes of tensions that exist in the PCC concerning its ministry of healing. It critically analysis, interprets and discusses the empirical results of 26 (20 laity and six clergy) members of the Musang congregation alongside some theological reflections. The project explored and highlighted the importance of the traditional worldview regarding health, illness, healing and defines healing as the work of God and that it is imperative for the Church to focus on a more meaningful healing ministry that includes physical, spiritual, social and psychological aspects, thus healing needs to be holistic. Putting together the results of the literature review, the empirical research and the critical and theological reflections, the project suggests and affirms that there are theological, practical and socio-cultural reasons for the PCC to rethink, reformulate and reshape its healing ministry in the light of Jesus’ healing ministry. The project points out the theological, practical and cultural basis for a more meaningful ministry of healing within the PCC. These results reveal that the PCC has no choice but to embrace this emerging biblical healing ministry if it truly wants to remain faithful and in obedience to Jesus’ three but inseparable ministries of preaching, teaching and healing. Finally, the project proposes an integrated healing service as one of the ways towards a more practical and meaningful ministry of healing in the PCC at home and in the diaspora. Some objective comments and recommendations are also made. / Practical Theology / D. Th. (Practical Theology)

Kulturně společenské centrum u brněnské přehrady - architektonická studie objektů pro kulturně společenské i sportovní akce / The cultural and community centre near the Brno dam - the architectural design of buildings for cultural and social and sports events

Šmihula, Michal January 2010 (has links)
The design of cultural centre is situated in part Kozia Hôrka( well-known city swimming pool), in its advantage takes natural scenery and calm atmosphere of place. Into action of performance brings a message in form of body of reservoir, function of centre is divided into small parts placed in area Kozia Hôrka. Orientation of objects comes mainly from local natural ispirations. Complex is multifunctional in concept, counts with several sorts of culture - sports events. Whereby the main function of swimming pool is preserved and added for higher comfort of inhabitants. Architecture of objects comes from idea of floating leaf on water level and body of reservoir. Objects stylizely illustrate this idea. The design takes the game of solids of organic and strictly ortogonal shapes. Two mutual opposites, in interaction. Objects smoothy and with respect encroach the environment, which is enough marked by human. Simplicity in used materials ( glass, steel, wood ) give transparency and purity to whole solution.
