Sexuální zneužívání dětí / Sexual abuse of children

Dvořáková, Petra January 2012 (has links)
Sexuální zneužívání dětí Sexual abuse of children Petra Dvořáková This work describes the sexual abuse of children. The main objective was to create a work that would form a coherent and comprehensive view on this issue. The thesis contains a theoretical and practical part. The practical part includes qualitative research. The research consists of five case studies. These case studies show the sexual abuse of children in practice. The goal of the practical part is the description of cases of sexual abuse, evaluation, comparison of results and identification of common features that appear in the case studies and also in the theoretical part of my work. The analyses of case studies show that the perpetrator was always the family. The consequences of sexual abuse that emerged from the case studies, agree with your description of the theoretical part. In most cases, it was a long- term consequence. The last chapter of the thesis is called prevention. This chapter is the most important of the whole work. It is important to focus not only on the treatment of sexually abused children, but also the environment in which the social and legal protection of children is provided. You need to focus on processes and procedures work with victims and perpetrators of sexual abuse. The aim of the whole society should...

One proved that the prolongation of the abuse is an indicating insurance of the occurrence of the maternal connivance, however, not if it could affirmed that this is essential so that the abuse if draws out. It can be proven that the maternal connivance happens correlated with the interests and concerns of the mother with the family s preservation and the children s sustenance, however, its understanding cannot do without the collective s recognition of the indignification of the separate woman and with children and of the single woman with children. One identified three correlated groupality s familial configuration with the occurrences of domestic sexual abuse, being common integration relations between them. It is pointed the dignification of the separate woman with children and of the single woman with children as a psicossocial intervention to able to stimulate the revelation and to prevent the occurrences of domestic sexual abuse.

Narratives of incest

Papaikonomou, Natascia 06 1900 (has links)
Incest is described by various models focusing on different factors ranging from pathology to descriptions of the ecosystem in which it takes place. This research presents a theoretical and practical description of father-daughter incest in a family where the father was not removed and includes narratives of all associated systems. Consistent with the postmodern, social constructionist and narrative theories, this study attempts to observe and describe the ensuing process of the incest narrative through the various systems within which it takes place. This process explores people's perceptions of incest, how these are assessed and interpreted, what kind of action they mapped out as a result and the possibility that the abusive narrative is being maintained. Implications for therapy with the incest family are discussed drawing on narrative principles. By utilising an emergent design the experiences and narratives of the family and related systems were permitted to emerge through the research process. / Psychology / M.A. (Clinical Psychology

Hur den sociala miljön påverkar incestutsatta personers delaktighet i aktivitet : Analys av självbiografier / How the social environment affects the occupational participation of people exposed to incest : Analysis of autobiographies

Karlsson, Erik, Rosén, Matilda January 2022 (has links)
Aim: To describe how people exposed to incest experienced the social environment as limiting or enabling  their occupational participation during childhood and adulthood. Method: Literature study of autobiographies which were analyzed based on a qualitative analysis of narratives and resulted in five categories: The need for support for a healthy love relationship, adults affect children's play and leisure, decisive factors for addiction, the concequenses of incest drives education and career and treatment affects healthcare and legal process. Three autobiographies were included in the study, inclusion criteria were autobiographies in the subject of incest and that they should be written in English or Swedish. All of the selected autobiographies are written by women where the father was the perpetrator. Result: The results of the study show that the social environment can have limiting and enabling effects on occupational participation for people exposed to incest. Overall, the people experience that the relationship with the father and the abuse he committed in several ways affected their participation in all areas of life, both as children and adults. Social support from family, friends and the environment is the main factor in the social environment that is perceived to enable occupational participation. Conclusion: There is a need for deeper research in the subject. More knowledge regarding the interactions between social environment and occupational participation is needed for occupational therapists to be able to develop interventions that benefits people exposed to incest. Continued research would be interesting through an interdisciplinary study together with other professions that have other knowledge of value in the subject.

Group treatment for female incest survivors using TFA Systems™

Tieman, Anita Rosemary January 1991 (has links)
The purpose of this action study was to conduct a group treatment program for female adult survivors of incest using TFA Systems™. Specifically this study examined the coping response behavior patterns of adult survivors in situations of perceived victimization. During stage one of the treatment program, clients presented situations in which they had perceived themselves to have been in the victim role. Each client analyzed her patterns of coping using the TFA Helping Cycle. The specific thoughts (T), feelings (F), and actions (A) experienced by participants were examined. Special attention was given to the cues that signaled perceptions of victimization. Processing through the Helping Cycle assisted clients in moving from an awareness of habitual patterns to problem solving alternative coping responses. In stage two, participants predicted situations that had the potential for eliciting perceptions of victimization. These situations were likewise examined in TFA terms. Applying TFA methods to understanding coping response behavior patterns in threatening situations allowed clients the opportunity to break the cycle of relying on habitual behavior patterns. Intervention techniques were individualized to both the client and her situation. The results of this study suggest that the TFA Systems™ model accurately assessed the coping response behavior patterns of clients in situations of perceived victimization. Participants were able to use effectively the Helping Cycle to examine the thoughts, feelings and actions that directed their behavior. Conscious awareness of existing patterns and knowledge of available options allowed clients to restructure ineffective coping responses. Both objective and subjective evaluation procedures confirmed the TFA Systems™ treatment model as a promising method for effecting positive behavior change in an adult survivors of incest population. / Ed. A COMPARISON OF INTRAFAMILIAL AND EXTRAFAMILIAL SEX OFFENDERS.

SCHUR, PETER BARTON. January 1986 (has links)
Intrafamilial and extrafamilial sex offenders receive differential treatment from criminal justice, mental health, and social service agencies. This differential treatment is based on assumptions that intrafamilial offenders are better candidates for successful treatment and that they are less dangerous than extrafamilial offenders. These assumptions are based upon clinical experience and anecdotal reports, but they lack empirical research evidence. The present study attempts to address the need for objective information regarding sex offenders and their offenses. Specifically, it compares a group of intrafamilial offenders with a group of extrafamilial offenders in terms of variables related to treatment prognosis, dangerousness, and psychological characteristics. The results suggest that there is a sound basis for the decisions being made by criminal justice, mental health, and social service agencies. Intrafamilial sex offenders are predominantly regressed offenders who do not have fixed sexual preferences for children and who are thought to be treatable in community-based treatment programs. In contrast, extrafamilial offenders are predominantly fixated offenders who do have fixed sexual preferences for children and who are thought to be particularly difficult, if not impossible, to treat. In addition, intrafamilial offenders appear less dangerous than extrafamilial offenders in that they used less forceful and violent means of coercion in order to gain compliance of their victims. No significant differences were found between groups regarding their psychological characteristics as measured by the MMPI. While the literature has characterized regressed offenders as men who sexually abuse children in the context of situational stress and family dysfunction, no evidence of this was found in the present study. This finding raises a question regarding the definition, understanding, and validity of the concept of the regressed offender. This may be of some importance to evaluators and treatment teams who believe that the treament of choice for the regressed offender involves family therapy and the alleviation of stress-related factors, while they tend to neglect or minimize the possible contribution of the individual psychopathology of the offender.

Famílias incestuosas: diferenciação das funções familiares / Incestuous families: differenciation of family functions

Pinheiro, Mariana Lanna 19 June 2015 (has links)
This research aims to investigate possible changes to the dynamics of incestuous families after the commencement of psychotherapeutic treatment. Hypothetically, primary and secondary changes happen to the families taken to the Sexual Abuse Study and Help Center (Centro de Estudos e Atendimentos Referente ao Abuso Sexual - CEARAS) from the proposed treatment. This essay has been elaborated from a psychoanalytical perspective with psychosocial emphasis, in which the individual is considered from his cultural context. To do so, the grounds for the analysis is the work developed by the Study Center with the incestuous families. Objective: To think about the primary and secondary changes that arose from the therapeutic treatment provided by CEARAS to the dysfunctional families. Methodology: This is a retrospective document research. The handbook of the 19 families supported by CEARAS from the period between 1993 and 2013 which were part of the final sample have been analysed. The information about the calls, handbook conditions and treatment have been searched. The changes described in the handbooks were split in two groups: primary and secondary changes. Results: Most families under CEARAS\' care have not finished the proposed treatment. In relation to the changes detected, 53% of the families have shown primary and secondary changes; 37% have shown primary; and 10% secondary. It has been observed in the handbooks under analysis that, in relation to primary changes, the simbolization of the family functions was the most outstanding change whereas the autonomy of the family members was the least. There was no predominance of secondary changes. There has been a higher number of changes in families that did not have to change therapists. Conclusion: It is noticeable that the work is feasible and how necessary it is.The research shows that the primary and secondary changes are possible to take place by way of family therapy. The transfer in families does not happen only with the institution but also with the therapists involved in the treatment

Abuso sexual de crianças e adolescentes: um estudo psicanalítico sobre o trabalho de escuta aos sujeitos envolvidos na trama incestuosa / Sexual abuse of children and adolescents: a psychoanalytic study on the work of listening to the people involved in the incestuous plot

Miyahara, Rosemary Peres 27 April 2018 (has links)
This study refers to incest, which is, the sexual abuse of children and adolescents that happens in the family environment. Its purpose is a deepening reflection on listening to all people involved in the incestuous plot, in order to improve professional practices in the area. Therefore, it undertakes a course of studies with references of Psychoanalysis based on the founding formulations of Freud, Ferenczi and Lacan, in a successful communication with commentators such as Piera Aulagnier, Abraham and Torok, Françoise Dolto, among others. The trajectory of the discussions starts from a theoretical preparation of the child sexuality and parental interactions, the interdiction on incest as the foundation of culture, the traumatic dimension of abusive sexual interaction, goes beyond the boundaries of psychic transmission and unfolds in the focus of the one who appears in the place of the author of the sexual aggression. In this aspect, the centrality of the debate deals, in a first moment, with perversion as structure and the density of its constitutive elements, such as refusal to castrate, challenge to the law, sadomasochistic dynamics and mechanism of denial. In a second moment, attention turns to perversion as a new mode of social bonding. From then on, the field of study opens up to the understanding of what has been configured as the most frequent casuistry in the work with the listening to these situations: the neurotic individual captured in a perverse social setup. The author, building her studies on the empirical material of her praxis in supervising the care of the incestuous family, makes as her final considerations that improvement on the work of listening must, necessarily, pass through knowledge of psychic and social dynamics which generate and maintain the abusive family dynamics and that the Psychoanalysis and the supervisory space are strategies of excellence in achieving this goal

Watarai, Cristina Fukumori. January 2009 (has links)
(Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This research is based upon my professional experience as a psychologist of a Specialized Social Service Reference Centre - SSSRC - which offers psychosocial assistance to children and adolescents victims of violence, located in a city in the interior of Paraná State. Having this experience in mind, the present theme refers to incest cases among siblings, children or adolescents. According to psychoanalysis, incestuous desire is present in each individual from a young age; however, the interdiction of incest is an important factor for the structuring of the psyche, especially for the establishment of the superego, which concerns the process of internalization of social rules, making it possible to live in society. Based on this presumption it is believed that incestuous experiences could take place in a concrete reality, not only on a fantasy level, configuring into abusive situations. This study utilized a psychoanalysis based research, adapted to the context which does not correspond to a conventional clinic, denominated extramural, which has the objective of identifying the family-affective conditions in which emerge incestuous scenes among siblings and to describe the family structure which supports them. Four families were interviewed, with a total of sixteen participants. The information obtained through open interviews with those in charge of the parental care of the children and/or adolescents who had an incestuous form of relationship with their siblings, a diagnostic family interview with all the members of the family and individually... Antes morganático que incestuoso: processo social e forma literária n\'Os Maias, de Eça de Queiroz / Better morganatic than incestuous: social process and literary form in Os Maias, by Eça de Queirós

Danilo Silvério 08 December 2016 (has links)
Aiming to investigate the relationship between social process and literary form in Os Maias [The Maias], by Eça de Queirós, this work purpose is to analyze the affinities between the class composition represented in the novel (mainly in the clash concerning a resilient aristocracy and an ascendant bourgeoisie) and the theme of the incest, taking into account the concept of figuration as developed by Norbert Elias.
