I denna uppsats undersöks hur Kronofogden har byggt upp sin beställarkompetens inför och under upphandlingen av sitt första affärssystem, samt vilken inverkan behovet av beställarkompetens har haft på upphandlingens upplägg. Genom att studera den upphandlingsprocess Kronofogden bedrev vid upphandling av nytt affärssystem och med hjälp av en modell för beställarkompetens identifieras vilka faktorer som påverkat upphandlingen samt vilken inverkan dessa faktorer haft. Kronofogden har byggt upp sin beställarkompetens genom att utgå ifrån verksamhetens behov och lärt sig hur ett affärssystem kan tillfredsställa behovet. Därigenom har man förbättrat sina möjligheter att genomföra en framgångsrik upphandling trots att Kronofogden inte har några tidigare erfarenheter av affärssystem. Utifrån den förståelse Kronofogden har byggt upp rörande affärssystem har man valt att begränsa sin lösning för att sedan fortsätta successivt och genom att använda ett testsystem har de fått in en extra säkerhet i upphandlingen.

In this essay I have read the novels Wide Sargasso Sea (Jean Rhys 1966), Desirada (Maryse Condé 1997) and Invisible Cities (Italo Calvino 1972) through Édouard Glissant’s notion of the primary scene in Philosophie de la relation. Poésie en étendue. I have examined how the primary scene can be seen as a political/an aesthetical strategy in the three novels. This was done in order to question the blunted tool of the notion of the identity, which is often considered in studies regarding ”postcolonial novels”. Invisible Cities is not belonging in this tradition, the method I used was ”The travelling theory” of Edward W. Saïd that proposes to let theories travel through different fields instead of trying to understand their ”original” meaning. I compared these novels in accordance to Glissants theory of questioning the notion of origins. The analysis compares how the novels depending on in wich tradition they have been read is being seen with different eyes. Novels interpreted as ”postcolonial novels” are usually read as a symptom of lack of origin. Whereas the protagonist tryes to understand the loss of identity. Glissants theory eases the analysis to reach other possible meanings of the novels, where they both meet and differs. My results indicate that The Wide Sargasso Sea and Desirada create a complex relation to time and space, where the primary scenes in these novels are steeped through different time levels. The two novels present a new way to understand time that rejects historicity, create new tools for thinking and evaluates new strategies to exist in the world, without origins in the classical meaning; Rhys through her imagery and Condé through her weave of times. The same goes for Invicible Cities, only though Venice the primal scene in the novel stays the center of interest, and even though borders of time and space are being questioned, the novel tends to make Venice the guzzling synthesis. / Édouard Glissant, Jean Rhys, Maryse Condé, Italo Calvino, Édward W. <p>Ett av målen i dagens miljöpolitik är att miljöhänsyn ska integreras inom alla samhällssektorer. Denna process är dock inte helt problemfri i praktiken. Studiens syfte är att få en fördjupad bild av vad som möjliggör respektive begränsar integreringen av miljöhänsyn i den offentliga upphandlingen samt att identifiera vad som krävs för en ökad miljöanpassning av den offentliga upphandlingen. Studien fokuserar pårättsliga, ekonomiska och kunskapsmässiga aspekter. Kvalitativa intervjuer har genomförts med upphandlare på tre olika enheter på Norrköpings kommun för att få fram praktiska erfarenheter inom området miljöanpassad upphandling. Intervjuresultaten visar att upphandlarna delvis upplever olika slags aspekter som särskilt viktiga. En av de intervjuade betonar det rättsliga utrymmet, medan de två andra anser att kunskap och utbildning är mest avgörande för om miljöhänsyn kan tas. För att ytterligare underlätta miljöanpassningen av den offentliga upphandlingen, behövs bland annat utökade möjligheter enligt EGrätten och bättre hjälpmedel vid utvärderingen av anbud i upphandlingsprocessen.</p>

This study examines the attitudes and opinions of ALS patients toward mass messages about their condition. Six focus groups of ALS patient support groups viewed and responded to public relations messages, charity advertisements, and a news story. Results suggest that mass messages remind participants of the need for public ALS awareness. Participants also said they shared in the narratives and identify closely with the characters in the messages they viewed, and participants expressed concern with disease depictions. These concerns included a tension between positive and realistic portrayals, identification of message inaccuracies, and a desire for more specific disease information. The ALS disease as it relates to mass communication has not yet been explored in scholarly literature. This study highlights the importance of the thoughts and opinions of ALS patients toward mass communication about their disease, and it provides a rich understanding of the participants' desires for their disease experience to be recognized and understood.

Lagen om offentlig upphandling specificerar att leverantörer inte får missgynnas beroende på storlek, bakgrund, ekonomiska resurser etc. Genom en grundlig litteraturöversikt fann vi variabler som visade sig vara problematiska för små och medelstora företag (SME) i en internationell kontext, vilka vi ville undersöka vidare i en svensk kontext. Vår undersökning visar att vissa variabler som identifierats har en större påverkan än andra. Vidare visar undersökningen att flera variabler påverkar de minsta företagen till större grad än övriga SME. Slutligen visar undersökningen att upplevelsen av hinder skiljer sig åt beroende på företagens deltagandegrad i upphandlingar. / The law involving public procurement specifies that suppliers cannot be discriminated against on size, background, financial resources etc. Through a thorough literature review we found variables that were problematic for SME´s in an international context, that we wanted to further investigate within a Swedish context. Based on our investigation it can be concluded that some of the variables identified have a greater impact than others. Furthermore, our investigation showed that several variables affect the smallest companies to a greater degree than the larger companies. Finally, our survey also showed that barriers differ depending on the companies' level of participation in the procurement process.

The women's liberation movement in the 1970s and 1980s utilized various means for activism and demonstrations, but women also used the judicial system to fight for equality in the workplace. This study focuses specifically on the field of journalism and how female reporters used the courts to fight the gender discrimination that was widespread and unbridled before the creation of legislation that outlawed it. The lawsuit filed by Mary Lou Butcher and approximately 90 other women against The Detroit News is one such case that exemplifies the process of filing a gender discrimination lawsuit, as well as the events that led to the suits and the impact that it and similar lawsuits had on the field of journalism and the women's liberation movement as a whole. Using textual analysis to examine the coverage of these lawsuits by industry literature and by the publications challenged by the lawsuits demonstrates what the field of newspapers and magazines was like during the time of the cases. Comparing the same media during the times of the lawsuits and post-settlement reveal how they contributed to an adjusted view of female journalists and aided women's acceptance in American newsrooms.
