Generering av XSLT-dokument

Ekedahl, Daniel January 2006 (has links)

Kinect’s potential in healthcare

Larsson-Green, Peter January 2014 (has links)
This project investigates if a Microsoft Kinect has the potential to be used in healthcare as an assisting tool for doctors in their work to diagnose patients or by supporting rehabilitation patients with their exercise training. To test its potential, the accuracy in the skeleton data it produces has been investigated, and two different computer programs making use of the Kinect has been created and evaluated. The results suggest that the Kinect has the potential to be used in some fields in healthcare as long as one takes its strengths and weaknesses into consideration.

Trollbridge : Order effects, and moral dilemmas with three choice alternatives

Johansson, Marcus January 2014 (has links)
Research about morality heavily relies on using questionnaires and moral dilemmas when answering different research questions. Despite this very little focus has been put on how the order of presentation alters response frequencies. A test was put forth to test if there is any effect based on order of presentation, and despite that it has been found before, no such effects were found. Why no order effects were found here are not clear, but it shows that it is something that needs to be controlled for in research on moral dilemmas. Secondly, in moral research a lot of focus is put on moral principles to use as explanation for whole groups of respondents, such as deontology, utilitarianism and the DDE. To see if these are strong indicators of what humans will do in these moral dilemmas, two versions of the trolley and footbridge dilemma was put together, where all three response alternatives were presented at once, that is push the stranger, pull the switch or do nothing. In one of these conditions one person are on the side tracks in the switch condition, and in the second three workers are on the side tracks. It was found that although individuals motivate their actions in line with utility and the DDE, less people decide to act when three alternatives are presented. This shows that people are not consistent with their moral evaluation, and that it might be hard to predict what one will do in these situations.

Sound Fence

Wennebjörk Turdell, Johan January 2014 (has links)
To fence in pastures for sheep today is a major cost, especially because of the time required when using current methods. What takes most time is starting to fence off a new area, but to maintain a fence is also a continuous effort. The main function is to keep the sheep at the field.! ! By interviewing and observing sheep farmers on how they work with fence today and what their problems was, I got a better understanding of the problem. Also looking at a number of other things like the context, statistics on sheep farming, laws and competition mapping gave a wider image. But the most important part in my research occurred when I talked to experts about sheep behavior. The main characteristic is the flocking behavior which the final result is based on. ! By stressing a sheep with a sound as it is on its way out of the given area the sheep will, cos of flocking behavior, stop and move back to the other sheep.

Analys av modell och kodningsschema för teamcognition baserat på mutual belief / An analysis of a model and coding scheme for team cognition based on mutual belief

Pettersson, Albin January 2014 (has links)

Captain Osprey and The Wings of Fate : En spelproduktion / Captain Osprey and The Wings of Fate : A game production

Berglund, Kalle, Ysberg, Kim, Nilsson, Hampus, Lundell, Tony, Lakss, Dan January 2009 (has links)
Throughout this final reflection you'll be able to read about our graduation project as a whole. You'll take part of the concept we developed and strived after trying to realize it. An insight of our work process where we describe how we transfered our idea from paper to a final product will be given. You will read about the work process from the programmers, sound designers and graphical artists perspective. Toward the end of the document thoughts about how we worked as a team and at an individual level are discussed. Some of the questions we bring up is about how we managed to complete the project despite the lack of planning, hierarchic structure and at last, how it was like working in a new area of expertise for the first time.

Jönsson, Dennis, Stålhammar, Ted January 2002 (has links)
The new information society has revolutionised almost the entire world. But the new technique does not only bring good. That which was before only available on paper may today only be available on a computer system. This makes it possible to send data electronically. In the wrong hands that information can become a threat against the security of an individual, a company or even a nation. The possibility to protect oneself against attacks from the outside becomes increasingly difficult. There are a lot of factors involved but a major factor is the fast technical development we now see within this area. Our defence minister, Björn von Sydow, writes in an article that it is almost impossible to protect one self against the unexpected. Björn Andersson (SÄPO) says as well that there are no secure systems, only more or less easy penetrable systems for the attacker to attack. The threat against Sweden is quite diffuse. The old threat of invasion is no longer which can make it difficult to identify a specific threat. The word of the governments today is terrorism. The purpose of our paper, considering this background, is to take a look at the possible threats against swedish information systems and to see the seriousness of the threats these systems are facing. It mainly consists of systems for ensuring we are provided with power and water and that finance and communication works. The questions that we ask ourselves are if information warfare indeed is a threat ? Who are the attackers and what drives them to perform the actions they perform ? Which are the targets they aim their attacks against ? Are the techniques behind information warfare realistic and is there really a threat, or is it all just blown out of proportions ? To get answers to our questions we have gone through a lot of material. A lot of it was downloaded from the Internet and has been of varying character. We have also been given a lot of material from our government and we have read some literature about the area of interest. We have finally done some interviews with staff from Lunds Energi, Skanova Networks and Säkerhetspolisen.

Service Design and Cultural Expectations on Services : Applying Hofstede's Cultural Dimensions to Services

Segelström, Fabian January 2008 (has links)
The notion of service design as a design field has emerged during the last 10-15 years and seems to be growing more and more; a 2007 textbook on interaction design states: “The new frontier of interaction design is services” (Saffer, 2007, p. 174). Since the field is so young, there still are areas which hardly have been explored. One of these is cultural effects on service expectations. This thesis aims to help to fill in the knowledge gap by applying a model of cultural differences. The model used is the one developed by Geert Hofstede, which has been proved to be valid within a large number of varyingfields. This was done through the research question “Is Hofstede’s model applicable to service design in general, and individualization of services in particular?”. The question was explored through two parallel research processes; a quantitative questionnaire distributed via the web and a qualitative evaluation of 47 different service web sites. The qualitative evaluation was done through a new method called Cultural Walkthrough. Four key countries were chosen; the questionnaire was aimed at natives of these countries and the web sites all came from these countries. The countries in question were Germany, India, the United Kingdom and the USA. The results indicate that Hofstede’s model can’t be applied to service design straight off. Neither can they be used as a basis to deem the want for the possibility to individualize services, which seems to be dependent on the individual. The results indicate a large number of interesting questions for further research.

Hedman, John January 2017 (has links)

The user experience (UX) of pre-schoolers : A qualitative study that explores how user experience may be evaluated with children under 5

Maeda Palm, Joakim January 2017 (has links)
