Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka i vilken utsträckning bloggare som skriver om nyheter ägnar sig åt arbete som kan leda till att journalistrollen hotas. Vidare undersöks vem som är avsändare till bloggar, då detta är avgörande för vilken trovärdighet som kan tillskrivas bloggosfären. Dessa punkter undersöks utifrån frågeställningar som berör dem, där tillförandet av information som inte förekommer i det ordinarie nyhetsflödet tillskrivs stor vikt. Dessutom undersöks vilken skillnad i ovan nämnda avseenden som går att märka mellan bloggrapporteringen om två nyhetshändelser av olika karaktär. Frågorna besvaras genom en kvantitativ innehållsanalys som undersöker 180 blogginlägg, 90 som behandlar vardera två nyhetsämnen. Blogginläggen i undersökningen är sådana som kommenterar nyheter och signalerar detta genom att länka till en artikel som behandlar nyheten i fråga. Pingbacktjänsten Twinglys analysverktyg Twingly Insight har använts för att ta fram vilka nyhetsämnen som kommenterats mest, i detta fall den socialdemokratiske partiledaren Håkan Juholts bostadsaffär och avslöjanden om missförhållanden inom vårdbolaget Carema, samt vilka artiklar inom dessa ämnen som diskuterats flitigast. Undersökningen visar att relativt många bloggar ägnar sig åt ett arbete som kan kallas för journalistik och att flera dessutom för fram uppgifter som inte förekommit i traditionella mediers bevakning. Många av dessa inlägg innehåller dock dessutom en åsikt, vilket kombinerat med att många bloggare har en otydlig agenda eller ett politiskt syfte gör att trovärdigheten tar skada. Slutsatsen blir därför att många bloggare ägnar sig åt journalistisk verksamhet, men att trovärdighetsproblemen gör dem till en för tillfället svag utmanare av traditionell journalistik.

Syftet med denna studie är att belysa hur lärosäten arbetar med att föra in digitala lärresurser som en integrerad del i den nya lärarutbildningen, enligt den Digitala agenda som lades fram av regeringen 2011. Studien undersöker hur både lärarutbildare och lärarstudenter får kompetenshöjning i digitala lärresurser. För att uppnå syftet har en kvalitativ studie genomförts genom telefonintervjuer med åtta personer med inblick i lärosätenas strategier och tankar kring digitaliseringen av den nya lärarutbildningen. Studiens resultat visar att det finns en medvetenhet och en strävan hos lärosätena att höja den digitala kompetensen hos både lärarstudenter och lärarutbildare men det finns en tröghet i progressionen både organisationsmässigt och personalmässigt. Slutsatsen är att det krävs en tydlig strategi och styrning i digitaliseringsarbetet och samtidigt lägga stor vikt vid att bygga upp en medvetenhet om de digitala lärresursernas möjligheter.

Flyktingmottagande och integration har under en längre tid ansetts fungera dåligt. Etableringen av nyanlända tog för lång tid och för få hade kontakt med arbetslivet. Det stod klart att en förändring var nödvändig. Det svenska flyktingmottagandet genomförde år 2010 en stor strukturomvandling eftersom delar av integrationen som handlar om arbetsmarknadsetablering flyttades från kommunerna till staten. Genom den nya etableringsreformen hoppas regeringen på att effektivt och snabbt kunna etablera nyanlända i arbets- och samhällslivet. Ändamålet är att uppnå egenförsörjning. Genom reformen fick kommunerna, Arbetsförmedlingen, länsstyrelserna, Försäkringskassan samt Migrationsverket nya eller ändrade ansvarsområden och samtidigt infördes en ny aktör, lotsen, vars syfte är att stödja och påskynda den nyanländes etablering. Trots att reformen genomfördes nyligen framgår det från vissa håll att det nya systemet brister på en del punkter.  Den nya etableringsreformen är ett omdiskuterat ämne. Meningsskiljeaktigheter råder beroende på vilken myndighet respektive individ som tillfrågas. För att få svar på om etableringsreformen är bra och huruvida den var nödvändig genomfördes en granskning med början i det gamla systemet till vad syftet med reformen är och hur det fungerar. För att inte enbart få den teoretiska delen av det nya systemet genomfördes intervjuer med Arbetsförmedlingen och kommunen samt granskningar av en del rapporter och utredningar för att få svar på hur det fungerar i praktiken. För att reformen ska ge goda resultat krävs att alla aktörer uppfyller sina uppgifter och tar sitt ansvar. Reformen har haft sina svårigheter men samtidigt bör det finnas i åtanken att den är tämligen ny. Det kommer ta tid tills systemet är integrerat. Samtidigt finns det en stor risk för att dominoeffekten uppstår i reformens rättssystem om det brister i ett av leden och då är vi tillbaka på ruta ett. / The reception of refugees and integrations have for a long period of time been considered to work poorly. The establishment of newly arrived didn’t go as fast as needed, and too few made contact with the working life.  It was clear that a change was necessary. The Swedish reception of refugees carried through with a big transformation of structure since parts of the integration considering labour-market establishment got moved from the local authorities to the Government. Throughout the new establishment reform the Government wishes to efficiently and quickly be able to establish newly arrived refugees into the working- and social life. The purpose is to achieve self-support. The reform contains new or changed areas of responsibilities for the municipality, the Employment Office, the county administrative board, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and Swedish Migration Board. At the same time a new operator called “etableringslots” was introduced with the purpose of supporting and hastening the establishment of the newly arrived. Even though the reform was recently accomplished it is clear from certain sides that the new system fails on some certain parts. The new establishment reform is to this day a much discussed subject. Disagreements of opinions exist depending on which authority respectively individual that gets asked. A study got carried through, starting with the former system, to find out if the new establishment reform was good enough, if it was necessary and how it all works. Not only to get the theoretical part of the new system but to also get the practical part, interviews were made with the employment agency and the local authority. Closed examinations of some reports and investigations also occurred to get an answer of how it works when it is put into practice. All parties are required to fulfill their duties and their responsibilities so that the reforms result turns out well. The reform has had its difficulties but it should be kept in mind that it is fairly new and it will take some time for the system to get integrated. At the same time there is a great risk that the domino effect occurs in the legal reform if one of the trails fall and in that case we would be back at square one.

My curiosity concerning what pupils read and write during leisure time led me to gather information using a quantative method. The study's aim is to investigate which reading and writing habits they have during their time outside school. A comparison was done of pupils at school year level 3 and level 4 in two different schools with the intention of investigating the influence of social background on reading and writing habits. 137 pupils filled in survey forms and thereafter the MYSTAT statistic program was used to process the information. The results point towards that the pupils read story books both more often and for a longer time than any other type of literature and that they read them often or very seldom. The pupils chat with each other on the internet but they do not as often write in blogs, Facebook or mail. In the 3rd year pupils read reference books more often and for a longer time than any other literature whereas the 4th year read story books more often and for a longer time. Pupils in the 4th year spend more time writing and chatting on the computer than pupils in the 3rd year. The biggest difference between schools based on socio-economic background is the time pupils spend reading and writing on the Internet, mobile, or reading subtitles on TV. There are many pupils in school number 2, both in the third and fourth year, who read story books and reference books for more than one hour. In school number 1 there are more pupils who read magazines, for example 'Julia', or hockey magazines etc. Noteworthy is that more pupils in the second school spend more than 5 hours every day reading on the Internet, mobile or subtitles on TV. It is noticeable that pupils read and write using new technology.

Syftet med undersökningen har varit att bringa klarhet i om och hur pedagogerna i förskolan arbetar med naturvetenskap och om de anser sig ha tillräckliga kunskaper inom området. Forskning pekar på att det finns vissa brister i pedagogernas ämneskunskap kring naturvetenskap. För att få en så stor spridning som möjligt av uppfattningar har jag använt mig av en enkätundersökning. Åtta slumpmässigt utvalda förskolor ingår i studien. Alla pedagoger som svarat önskar mer utbildning i det naturvetenskapliga ämnet och endast ett fåtal tycker de har tillräcklig kunskap. De flesta ser bara möjligheter med arbetssättet och bara ett fåtal har nämnt olika orsaker till varför de hindras att arbeta med naturvetenskap på förskolan. I stor utsträckning önskar pedagogerna att arbetsgivaren skall satsa på att ge kurser och vidareutbildning för att på så sätt öka pedagogernas kunskap och vilja att på ett grundligare sätt ta sig an det naturvetenskapliga arbetssättet redan på förskolenivå.

Nya lärares yrkesintroduktion, Kommunstyrelsen, Uppsala

This bachelor´s thesis analyzes the debate in a number of Swedish media regarding the introduction of video games as a new medium in the public libraries. The theory and method used is discourse analysis. Three questions were asked: how the introduction of video games as a new media in libraries is discussed, how is it motivated and in what way the authors of the articles analyzed are speaking about new media and the mission of the library.   The selected articles were divided into four themes and the analysis resulted in the identification of two main discourses, one which is positive to the introduction and integration of new media in the libraries’ collections, and one which has a more negative approach and uses quality and culture as an argument.   The conclusion is that video games are a medium so widely used that librarians have to decide whether or not they want to include it in the libraries’ collections, and by deciding this they reveal their attitude towards the mission and purpose of the public library.

Abstract The purpose of this study is to investigate how value creation influences consumers´ choice of market place. We have chosen to focus on how inner city centers can compete with external shopping malls by examining what values consumers find essential in shopping areas. The development within the retail market with more external malls outside cities has resulted in impoverished city centers; therefore, new strategies towards more attractive servicescapes in the inner city are crucial. The study is based on a qualitative approach due to deeper understanding and closeness to the subject, where Kalmar city is chosen as a case. We have completed a focus group study where respondents from each target group where represented. Furthermore, we have accomplished personal interviews category business- men and women from the trade sector in Kalmar. The conclusion has been submitted in different elements within a servicescape where cooperation between different industries, importance of attractive meeting places and pleasant atmosphere were the core findings for value creation. If a city centre corresponds to the findings of value added elements, it is argued to be a strong competitor in today’s concrete retail market
