EN FRAMEANALYS PÅ RIKSDAGSDEBATTEN -Om Organiserad Gängkriminalitet

Johansson, John, Odhe, Rasmus January 2020 (has links)
In this study we examine what frames there is to be found in the Swedish parliamentary debate on organized crime between 2015 and 2020. The study also describes the degree of influence that the different frames reach, this is measured through the degree of institutionalization of each frame. The specific questions we answer is “Which frames does organized crime get in the parliamentary debate from 2015 to 2020?” and “To what degree have the frames from the parliamentary debate on organized crime become institutionalized?”. When collecting the empirical data a textual analysis is used combined with a frame analysis. The empirical data in the study consists of documents from politicians and larger parliamentary debates relevant for the questions that the study seeks to answer. The analysis showed that there have been four different frames during this period but only two of them are frequently used. The two who have been most frequently used are called crime political and socio political in this essay. Although it may seem obvious that these two frames exist there are widely spread ideas about what to prioritize. That is because every actor in the parliament is arguing that both of them are needed to solve the issue of organized crime. The essay did however show that the crime political frame has been dominating the period of examination and the most legislative work has been done in that policy area.

The Relationship of State Political Instability and Economic Failure to Predatory Organized Crime in Multiple Nations: A Global Comparative Anaylsis

Ruth, Terrance 01 January 2014 (has links)
This dissertation examines the relationship of political instability and economic failure to predatory organized crime in multiple nations. This is an important issue since each year the increase in predatory crime networks contributes to international economic failure, security risks, and the spread of organized crime. In an effort to understand the relationship between state failure and economic failure on the one hand, and organized crime on the other, this study will seek to address three goals. First, the study tests the degree to which variables that imply economic failure and state failure correlate with predatory organized crime. Second, the study determines the extent of the relationship between the social and economic indicators and predatory organized crime in multiple nations. Third, the study examines the future implications of predatory organized crime predictor variables in the context of national strategies to eradicate or reduce organized crime. This study investigates the relationship in failed states between predatory crime groups and various economic and state stability indicators. In particular, this study examines the impact of seven predictor variables on the variation in Predatory Organized Crime in 122 countries. The findings suggest that the state failure hypothesis correctly articulates the failure of the state to offer key social goods such as security, stability, and justice, thereby producing an environment where crime groups assume state responsibilities. The findings also support the economic failure hypothesis that poor economic outcomes such as high unemployment, low SES, and a dependency on an underground economy encourage the development of criminal groups. The ultimate goal of this study is to assist policy makers, policy analysts, scholars, and officials at donor agencies and international financial institutions in establishing effective tools for identifying and removing predatory organized crime units. Analytical results provide general support to all hypotheses. Moreover, policy implications for predatory organized crime control in developing countries are discussed. The author's objective is to increase understanding of this issue and show the need for further research.

Kris och Narrativ: En kvalitativ studie av buffers användning i Manchester Uniteds kriskommunikation

Sturesson, Filip, Magnason, Robert January 2024 (has links)
In organized sports, Buffers play a bigger role within crisis communications than other industries. These buffers can relieve or intensify a crisis depending on the welfare of the organization's reputation. This paper looks at Manchester United's recent crisis regarding their player Mason Greenwood to identify usage of buffers in their crisis communication. With the help of Coombs, Koerber & Zabaras definitions of buffers paired with Sellnows proposal of dominant narratives the paper's theoretical framework was established. The organization's statements regarding the crisis, as well as their Twitter and Facebook pages were processed with the help of narrative analysis. Through the processing of the material implicit usage of buffers was identified both in their statements and social media. This paper will explore the implicit nature of buffer usage which hopefully will lead to a greater understanding of the topic for academics and organizations.

Undervisning om det naturvetenskapliga arbetssättet i lågstadiet : En exemplifiering av hur organiserande syften kan ge stöd för didaktisk design och analys av undervisning med rättvisa test som innehåll / Teaching about the scientific way of working in primary school : An exemplification of how organizing purposes can provide support for didactic design and analysis of teaching with fair tests as content

Anjou Pedersen, Petra, Fyrkemo, Amina January 2023 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to exemplify how the didactic model organized purposes can be used as support for professional experimentation to develop teaching with the working methods of natural science as a content in the primary school. We have done a didactic modeling with the exemplification phase as a research approach. Inspiration has been taken from action research in the research design. With this approach, we have exemplified how the didactic model organized purposes can be used as support in the planning, implementation and evaluation of teaching. To exemplify how organizing purposes provided support in didactic analysis and design of teaching, we completed two complete and started third teaching cycle. In each full cycle, we did an instructional design and then analyzed the outcome using organized objectives. We started the third cycle by making a design proposal. The teaching design was carried out in two different classes in year three at two different schools. Twelve students participated in the first cycle and fourteen students in the second. The content of the scientific method we wanted to teach was the need for control of variables to make fair tests. Implementation was recorded using film recording which was then analyzed using the conceptual apparatus for organizing purposes; overall purpose, proximate purpose, goal-in-sight and continuity. The exemplification shows that organizing purposes provided support for students and for us to teach goal oriented. In the analysis, the conceptual apparatus was a support for seeing parts that can be improved and developed in the teaching design. Our conclusion is that the didactic model organizing purposes can be seen as a successful tool and as a support for teachers to develop their teaching with a science approach as a content in the primary school curriculum.

How does the sport movement work and adapt to the exercisetrend?

Beyane, Moses, Fogelberg, Albin January 2023 (has links)
Participation in organized sport has been in a decline for the past decade, but there is still an exercisetrend in Sweden, as people are training individually. For that reason, the purpose of this study is tounderstand how the sport movement relates to the exercise trend. The study addresses the followingquestions: How do sport clubs perceive the exercise trend? Have sport clubs worked and adaptedactivities around the exercise trend? Are there any difficulties working with the exercise trend? How canthe clubs work around the exercise trend and develop according to the clubs themselves? The study wasdone using a qualitative method interviewing eight sport clubs using semi-structured interviews. Theresults show that every sport club in the study have worked towards the exercise trend in one way oranother. Sport clubs are mostly aware of the exercise trend and are trying to adapt to it. Some of theclubs are going great lengths to work and adapt to the exercise trend while some clubs are not. Based onthe results there are some challenges the clubs need to consider internally and externally.
