Pretende-se, neste estudo, discutir como os poetas palacianos do Quatrocentos português usaram a tradição e a inovaram com elementos de inventividade e criatividade, de modo a serem denominados precursores de futuras estéticas literárias. Tomar-se-á por paradigma o poeta e coudel-mor Fernão da Silveira. Uma das principais personagens da nobreza portuguesa, Silveira destaca-se por extensa produção poética, bem como pelo rigor com que exerceu sua função política. Uma vez que a crítica vem apontando o Cancioneiro Geral de Garcia de Resende como repositório de futuros movimentos literários, o objetivo é examinar, através de Fernão da Silveira, os meios de que se serviram os poetas do fim do medievo português no cultivo de formas e temas caros às escolas renascentista e barroca e, mais tarde, à arte literária concretista e experimentalista. / This study intends to discuss how the Portuguese Court poets of the XVth. century made use of tradition and innovated it with elements such as inventiviness and creativeness in order to be considered as forerunners of future literary aesthetics. For this purpose, the poet and master of the royal stud farm Fernão da Silveira has been taken as a paradigm. One of the most influential persons of the Portuguese nobility, Silveira distinguishes himself for his wide poetic production and for the rigour he performed his political role. Since criticism considers Garcia de Resende\'s Cancioneiro Geral a repository of future literary moviments, the purpose is to examine, through Fernão da Silveira\'s poetic production, the means that could have led the poets of the end of the Portuguese medieval era to cultivate forms and themes dear to the Renaissance and Barroque aesthetics and, later, to the concrete and experimentalist literary arts.

A presente Dissertação de Mestrado propõe analisar o texto Informacion |1640|, do polígrafo português Manuel de Faria e Sousa (1590-1649), a partir das fontes retóricas e poéticas que orientaram a sua estruturação como gênero de defesa. O discurso seiscentista proposto à análise é redigido posteriormente à sentença promulgada pela Mesa Pequena do Tribunal do Santo Ofício de Lisboa, a qual veta a circulação dos Comentarios aos Lusíadas, do letrado referido, assim que publicados em 1639. O substrato da ação acusatória reprova veementemente as alegorias presentes no livro censurado, que se erigem com sentido religioso a partir da trama mitológica do poema heróico de Luís de Camões. Manuel de Faria justifica em Informacion os intrincados mecanismos operadores da interpretação alegórica proposta. Por se tratar de uma resposta de um acusado às reclamações interpostas pelos padres revedores de livros, importa trazermos em Apêndice inéditos registros da Inquisição lisbonense (Ms. Port. 5280.381* da Houghton Library, da Universidade de Harvard), por nós aqui transcritos, fundamentais para o entendimento acerca da censura imposta à conhecida obra de Comentários. / The present Master\'s Dissertation proposes to analyze the text Informacion |1640|, written by the Portuguese polygraph Manuel de Faria e Sousa (1590-1649), from the Rhetorical and Poetic sources that guided its structuration as a defense genre. The sixteenth-century discourse proposed to the analysis is drafted subsequent to the sentence promulgated by the Mesa Pequena do Tribunal do Santo Ofício de Lisboa, which prohibits the circulation of the Comentarios aos Lusiadas, by the above-named scholar, since its publication in 1639. The substrate of accusatory action strongly disapproves of the allegories found in the censored book, which are constructed with a religious meaning based on the mythological plot of the heroic poem by Luís de Camões. Manuel de Faria justifies in Informacion the intricate mechanisms which lead to the proposed allegorical interpretation. Because we are dealing with an answer of a defendant to complaints brought by the book reviewer priests, it is worth bringing in Appendix the unpublished records of the Lisbon Inquisition (Ms.Port.5280.381* The Houghton Library, Harvard University), transcribed by us here, crucial to the understanding about the censorship imposed to the known book of Comments.

No. of bitstreams: 0 Previous issue date: 2007-11-01 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The art produced with digital mean, known as digital art, involves complex questions related to the specificity of the digital media which question the ways of production, exhibition, distribution, aesthetic appreciation, authorship, that encloses the quarrels of copyright, industrial patent, free and commercial software. This study also tackles a variety of issues concerning digital production, from the poetical possibilities explored, to the quarrel of problems such as domain and access of digital language. The present research investigates artistic proposals that use digital environment, the relation between the poetical richness and the technological and technical knowledge, which depends on the access to digital means. Reflecting on the story of artists who explore the digital media, as well as texts of theoreticians and art critics, the adopted methodology was the bibliographical research and interviews with the artists: members of the SCIArts group, Tania Fraga and Malu Fragoso. The criteria for the selection of these artists was based as their contribution to the field of Brazilian digital art through exhibitions an participation in events which discuss art and technology. The study examines the poetical process of the digital production present in artworks, such, interactive installations and artistic proposals of the digital medias, as the Poetical Atrator , Gravity Fluxions: pulsations and the Tracajá Project . Were clearly articulated in speeches of the interviewed artists and in the importance of the quarrel on the technique and technology and about questions of the access and domain implied at the digital art research. The artists alert for the necessity of support to the creation of groups to research free software, for development of appropriate means of evaluations in brief that are not specific for research in digital ways, to the increase of public funding that would finance equipment and programs of high cost, and discussion on the property right of these equipment and programs. They also point out the precariousness of the critical and the exhibition spaces without the necessary structure to slow this kind of artworks in Brazil. The research Digital Echoes - poetical proposals considers that the poetical proposals in digital ways - low or high tech - creates a space of fertile artistic and critical exploration / A arte produzida com meios digitais, nomeada de arte digital, envolve questões complexas suscitadas pela especificidade dos meios digitais que questionam os modos de produção, de exibição, de distribuição, de apreciação estética, de autoria, que abrange as discussões do direito autoral, patente industrial, software proprietário e livre. Enfim, são questões que vão desde as possibilidades poéticas exploradas até o domínio e acesso da linguagem digital. O percurso do trabalho foi constituído pela identificação, elaboração, aplicação e verificação de um conjunto de atividades práticas reflexivas voltadas para o desenvolvimento técnico-criativo do ator, a partir da perspectiva da corporeidade da voz e da dramaturgia do corpo. In this work, the procedures adopted comprised theoretical studies and the creative process of the theatrical performance Transparência da Carne, produced by the theatrical company República Cênica. As a result - with both conceptual and practical implications -, a tecnhical-poetical approach was elaborated, supported by the principles of bodily as happening. The poetry of that time also kept on reproducingthe same old poetic genres. In the course of time the moroccan poets will realise that thearabic poetic movementhad reached a high level researching new styles and new forms.Influenced by theconcept of revival, the moroccan poets attempted to go beyond the bounds oftraditional poetry.However, their attempts remained very limited. The 1970s, in Morocco, werecharaterised by the birth of an ambitious group of poets. As early as their first texts,they asserted their longing to go beyond the experience of the 1960s, and to write a textthat is free from any constraint related to the classical poem or the free verse one. Neverthe less, their radical modernist experience will transform the poetry the 1970s into aprocess of transgression that will affect language, grammar, meaning and rhythm.Moreover,it will lead to a poetic crisis putting obstacles between the reader and themodernist poetry.

Le personnage dans l'oeuvre de Stefan Zweig : enjeux esthétiques et narratifs / The character in Stefan Zweig's books : aesthetics and narrative values

La plupart des problématiques évoquées en esthétique au XXIe siècle tournent autour de la question du personnage de fiction. Dans ce cadre, cette étude essaie d'examiner comment les stratégies esthétiques et la poétique de la réception sont liées, à travers l'œuvre d'un auteur autrichien, Stefan Zweig, qui écrivit non seulement un grand nombre de récits fictionnels (essentiellement des nouvelles et romans), mais également des essais historiques et géographiques. Sa poétique du récit construit des situations de communication, comme le récit enchâssé, dans lesquelles le lecteur est invité à s'impliquer, face à un personnage dont les propres mots forment la seule version des faits racontés dans la fiction. Dans le même ordre d'idée, les personnages, qu'il soient héros de fiction ou de biographie, sont souvent placés dans une situation de crise, qui à la fois révèle une destinée intérieure et se présente comme une conséquence inéluctable de leurs actes. Tous les éléments de leur vie et de leur personnalité convergent donc, et s'expliquent les uns les autres, comme si les personnages de Zweig devenaient des êtres totalement cohérents. En conclusion, il semblerait que les personnages de biographie s'inscrivent dans les problématiques touchant également la fiction, et même qu'ils appartiennent à la catégorie des personnages de fiction ; il sera donc productif de leur appliquer les outils de la critique narrative, par exemple en ce qui concerne la perspective du lecteur et les mécanismes affectifs de projection. / Most of the aesthetics questions of the XXIst century are focalised on the issue of fictional character. In this frame, this study try to examine how aesthetical strategies and poetics of reception are connected through the case of an austrian author, Stefan Zweig, who wrote not only a lot of fictional narratives (essentially short stories and novels), but also historical and geographical essays.His narrative poetic draw situations of communication, like framed narrative, in which the reader is invited to implicate himself, face to a character whose words are the only one version of fictional facts. In the same order of ideas, characters, in fiction or in biographies, are often placed in a critical situation, that reveals in the same time an inner destiny and unaffordable consequence of the way they act. So all elements of life and personnality are convergent, and can explain each other, as if Zweig's characters were totally coherent beings. To conclude, it appears that biographical characters have fictional problematics, and more, they belong to the category of fictional characters ; consequently, it is productive to apply to it the tools of narrative critic, for instance in the perspective of reader and affectives mecanisms of projection.
