Title: Development and position of Beach volleyball in the Czech Environment. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to describe and evaluate the Czech beach volleyball history since its beginning. The next aim is to delineate the way of organizing and integration of beach volleyball into the Czech sport environment. Methods: The paper used the methods of qualitative and quantitative research. Different methods of personal interviews are used to collect data about development and status of beach volleyball from athletes and officials. Computer Assisted Web Interviewing (CAWI) is applied to public. Results: I created a complete overview of the Czech beach volleyball history, as developed in the Czech sports environment, to the present. In the second part, I delineated an organization of beach volleyball and it's emplacement in our conditionals in detail - both in a public and the private sector. Darbo objektas: Klaipėdos miesto valstybinių sporto organizacijų (VSO) specialistų veiklos raiška. Darbo tikslas: atskleisti Klaipėdos miesto valstybinių sporto organizacijų specialistų veiklos raiškos ypatumus. Šiandieninėje visuomenėje, kuriantis žinių ekonomikai, darbo rinkoje pagrindiniais veiksniais tampa žinios ir kompetencija. Todėl didelis dėmesys kreipiamas į žmogiškuosius išteklius, kurie yra didžiausias organizacijų turtas. Labai svarbu išsiaiškinti, kokios priežastys lemia kompetentingų specialistų trūkumą, jų darbinės veiklos neefektyvumą organizacijose. Šiame darbe siekta išsiaiškinti Klaipėdos miesto valstybinių sporto organizacijų specialistų veiklos raišką, kuri Lietuvos mokslininkų mažai tyrinėta. Darbe pateikta bendra literatūros apžvalga, atskleista organizacijos samprata ir jos klasifikavimas, išskirti specifiniai sporto organizacijos bruožai, akcentuojami esminiai Klaipėdos miesto valstybinių sporto organizacijų valdymo aspektai bei valstybinių organizacijų specialistų veiklos ypatumai. Tyrimas buvo atliktas siekiant išsiaiškinti, kaip Klaipėdos miesto valstybinėse sporto organizacijose specialistų veiklą reglamentuojantys dokumentai atitinka realizuojamą veiklą. Tyrimo atlikimui buvo panaudota dokumentų content analizė ir interviu metodas. Atlikto tyrimo pagrindu buvo suformuluotos išvados siekiant įgyvendinti magistro baigiamajame darbe išsikeltą tikslą. / Diploma object: Duty expression of governmental specialists in sports at Klaipeda’s city. Goal of the work: To reveal Duty expression of governmental specialists in sports at Klaipeda’s city. In nowadays society, when media economics is developing really fast, knowledge and competency is becoming one of the main factors in work society. Due to that one of the main treasure of the companies are human resources to which companies are paying great interest. One of the main questions to solve is, what are the reasons why there is a lack of current specialists, and why they so ineffective in various organizations. In this work I try to reveal Duty expression of governmental specialists in sports at Klaipeda’s city, to which Lithuanian specialists haven’t payed much attention. It includes literature reviews, revealing the conception of organization and classification as well as specific signs of it, organization of Klaipeda’s city sports and governing it, also peculiarities of activities if governmental sport specialists. All this has been done with a goal to find out, if all documented duties of sport specilists in Klaipeda’s city are really in power and are they in realization… To do such research I used Content analysis of the document and interviews. Due to research I have formulated the deductions in order to achieve main object of this master’s degree work.

Tyrimo objektas – inovacijų įtaka sporto organizacijų veiklai.
Problema. Mokslo raida parodė, kad inovacijos turi teigiamos įtakos organizacijų veiklai (Jakubavičius ir kt., 2008), inovacijos didina organizacijos efektyvumą ir sustiprina konkurencinį pranašumą (Inaunen & Schenker-Wicki, 2011; Hossein et al., 2011), tačiau kaip jos diegiamos ir kaip efektyviai panaudojamos sporto organizacijose pasigendama (Hossein et al., 2011). Todėl magistrinio darbe keliamas toks probleminis klausimas: Kaip yra taikomos inovacijos sporto organizacijoje ir kokia jų įtaka organizacijos veiklai?
Darbo tikslas – nustatyti inovacijų įtaką sporto organizacijų veiklai.
Darbo uždaviniai:
1. Išanalizuoti ir apibendrinti sporto organizacijos valdymo specifiką.
2. Išsiaiškinti kas yra inovacija ir apibrėžti jos įtaką sporto organizacijų veiklai.
3. Išanalizuoti Lietuvos lengvosios atletikos federacijos veiklą ir valdymo struktūrą.
4. Ištirti kokios inovacijos yra taikomos Lietuvos lengvosios atletikos federacijoje, bei kokie veiksniai lemia jų taikymą ir pateikti tolimesnes jų taikymo galimybes.
Išvados: Sporto organizacija yra sporto reiškinio įgyvendintoja ir vystytoja, ji rengia sporto produktus rinkai bei daro įtaką tų produktų vartojimui. Problem. Scientific developments have shown that innovations has a positive influence for organizations (Jakubavičius et al., 2008), innovations increases the efficiency of the organization and enhance competitive advantage (Schenker & Inaunen-wick, 2011, Hossein et al., 2011), but how they are implemented and effectively used for sport organizations are lacked (Hossein et al., 2011). Therefore, the master at work raises the problematic question: How is applied the innovations in sport organization and what their influence for the organization's activities?
The aim of work: to indentify the influence of innovations for sport organizations.
The task of work:
1. To analyze and summarize the specifics of the management of sport organizations.

From Movement in School to being Active in a Sport Organization outside of SchoolBengtsson, Michela, Johansson, Elinore January 2019 (has links)
Previous research has shown that the existence of after school program is beneficial for children's health and their academic performance. Lorensborgsskolan, an elementary school situated in Malmö, implemented a project called “From movement in school to being active in organized sports” where they started a school sport organization. The project seeks to increase the amount of children active in external sport organizations and to make the transition more accessible. The project collaborated with Hemmaplan which is an initiative from the Scanian Basketball Federation. Therefore, the aim of this study was to discuss the prerequisites for implementing Lorensborgsskolans project “From movement in school to being active in organized sports” from a sustainable perspective. The sustainable perspective contains three concepts: social, environmental and economical. Three research questions has been formulated.How was the preparation of this project in relation to sustainability?What challenges can be identified when implementing this project?What benefits can be identified when implementing this project?Interviews, observation and document analysis were the methods used in this research and the data was analyzed through a six step coding process. The result and analysis were divided in three paragraphs named after the research questions connected to the theory. The research findings indicate how this project would give the children a protective factor outside of school. According to the collected result the children should be given the access to pursue sport in the entire city of Malmö and to work on their social skills. In conclusion, an external analysis should have been done before the implementation of the project. The financial aspect is identified as a challenge. For the children to be a part of the school’s sport organization is free of charge in contrast with external sport organizations where this does not imply.

Change is a recurring element in society and for sports clubs. When there is a change in society, this change may have an impact and change the condition for sports clubs and its leaders. Changes can be degraded into trends. This study has been delimited to study four social trends that research shows may have an impact on sports club, which are; Increased commercialization, changing demographics, changing communication patterns and increased individualization. To help sports clubs in their development it is of value to find out how these changes are perceived. This study aimed to investigate the perceptions that sports club leaders have about social change and its impact on their leadership and their clubs development. More specifically the study examined which social trends that have impact, how leadership develop and change from social trends, opportunities and obstacles that social trends brings, and how changes in society are received. This was done by eight interviews with the chairman from eight different voluntary sports clubs. The results show that parts of all four trends has an impact. It also shows that leadership develops to some extent. There are both opportunities and obstacles with social trends for sports clubs and their leaders and certain trends in society have more barriers and obstacles for the sports clubs than others. When a change in society is perceived to have meaning and impact, it also causes some type of active receiving by the sports club.

Background: The Swedish sports movement, is organized through RF, with a responsibility to contribute to societal benefits. Part of the societal benefit is to ensure that more young people play sports. The Swedish Sports Confederation, RF, acts as an umbrella organization and organizes most of the Swedish sports movement. Statistics show that the amount of young ice hockey players is the lowest in 20 years. Policies have been implemented from RF and SIF, to get more young people to play sports and ice hockey. Despite the policies, there has been no change. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to create an understanding of how ice hockey clubs experience policies from RF and SIF with the goal to keep the young players in ice hockey Question: How do ice hockey clubs experience the policies from RF and SIF, to keep young people playing ice hockey? Methodology: The study uses a qualitative method, based on semi-structured interviews. The respondents are one representative from the Swedish Ice Hockey Association, and a representative from each of the five largest ice hockey clubs in Sweden, in terms of the number of licensed players. Conclusion: Based on the question and the empirical material, we were able to conclude that there's a loose coupling, with both running an elite business while broadening the breadth. There is a will in the ice hockey associations to keep young people, but there is a big responsibility on the individual within the associations. / Bakgrund: Den svenska idrottsrörelsen har sedan organisering genom Riksidrottsförbundet, RF, tillskrivits ett ansvar för att bidra till samhällsnytta. En del av samhällsnyttan, är att se till att fler ungdomar idrottar. Riksidrottsförbundet, RF, agerar som en paraplyorganisation och organiserar större delen av den svenska idrottsrörelsen. Statistik visar att antalet ungdomar som spelar ishockey är det lägsta på 20 år. För att få fler ungdomar att idrotta och spela ishockey har RF och SIF initierat satsningar som ska möjliggöra en förändring. Trots satsningarna, har ingen förändring skett. Syfte: Syftet med studien är att skapa en förståelse för hur ishockeyföreningar upplever satsningarna från RF och SIF, med målet att behålla ungdomar inom idrotten. Frågeställning: Hur upplever ishockeyföreningar det förändringsarbetet som finns från RF och SIF, för att behålla ungdomar inom ishockeyn? Metod: Studien använder sig av en kvalitativ metod, baserad på semistrukturerade intervjuer. Respondenterna är en representant från det svenska ishockeyförbundet, och en representant för vardera av de fem största ishockeyföreningarna i Sverige, sett till antalet licensierade spelare. Slutsats: Utifrån frågeställningen och det empiriska materialet kunde vi dra slutsatsen att det finns en löskoppling mellan att bedriva en elitverksamhet och breddverksamhet samtidigt. Att viljan finns att behålla ungdomar men det ligger ett stort ansvar på individen inom föreningarna.
