Denna uppsats tar sin utgångspunkt i den höga arbetslöshet och ökade tilltro till utbildning som råder i dagens samhälle och har som syfte att ta reda på vad vuxenelever har för motiv och mål med sin utbildning och om dessa påverkas av deras kön, nationalitet eller bildningsbakgrund.  Uppsatsen bygger på en enkätundersökning som genomförts bland Komvuxelever som studerar på både grundskole- och gymnasienivå och visar på motiv och mål med vuxenutbildningen såsom utbildning, arbete, språk och kommunikation, samhällsdeltagande och personlig utveckling. Dessa motiv och mål representeras som kvantitativa data och analyseras sedan utifrån respondenternas kön, nationalitet och bildningsbakgrund samt diskuteras i förhållande till tidigare forskning på området, där bland annat män och kvinnors olika studieval, nyanlända svenskars situation inom det svenska skolväsendet och arbetslivet och skolans roll i reproduktionen av klassamhället behandlas. Vidare presenteras i uppsatsen resultat som tyder på att kön och social bakgrund påverkar de motiv och mål som presenterats, men att också dagens samhällsstruktur, arbetsmarknadssituation och utbildningstilltro måste ses som viktiga påverkansfaktorer.

This study aims to investigate how participants in a companys traineeprogram describe that the programmes educational tasks has prepared them for their future work. The study also examines how participants perceive that they have developed skills that are specifik to their profession and how they became part of a community. The following questions were formed to make it possible to investigate the purpose further; ”Do the participants feel that the interaction within the trainee group has promoted their learning?”, ”How does the participants describe the training elements in relation to their development of competencies that they use in their professional role?” and ”How does the traineeprogram contribute to the participants becoming part of a community?”. This was examined by taking part of what previous research has highlighted as important for learning and socialization in relation to traineeprograms. Seven semi-structured interviews were conducted with employees of a company in the private service sector. The empirical data was analyzed based on theories of socio-cultural learning. The results show that participants in the traineeprogram early on are able to interact with many different people who work in the company. The training elements consists of both theoretical and practical education, which means that participants receive a broad knowledge that they need to face their future careers. Participants in the traineeprogram also feel that the ability to interact with others within the trainee group has promoted their learning both during training and it is something that they can use after graduation.

Platsen för byggnaden är Fatbursparken. Detta är en plats med ett stort folkflöde och platsen kallas även för Södermalms hjärta. Andra byggnader som står att finna i anslutning till parken är bland andra Bofills båge, Södertornet och Oscars minne. Oscars minne kantas av samma problem som det nya tillägget, citybanan som går under tomten vilket gör marken mycket skör. Ett annat problem med parken är att den kan upplevas som otrygg. För att hantera citybanans problematik är det nya tillägget inte högre än Oscars minne som står på samma premisser. Många av byggnaderna kring parken talar ett tydligt formspråk och tillägget har tagit geometrier som redan står att finna i parken i anspråk så som de brutna cirklarna. För att skapa mer trygghet i parken ska platsen involvera olika typer av människor, vuxenstuderande, boende och förbipasserande i området. Det ska vara en plats där det alltid händer någonting, en plats som kan skifta användningsområde beroende på tidpunkt på dygnet och årstid. Byggnaden är ett kombinerat utbildningscentrum för vuxna samt kulturhus med en stor publik del och har i syfte att skapa en tryggare stämning i parken. På det gemensamma torget sammanstrålar utbildningslokalerna med platsen för konst och scenkonst Byggnaden är menad för att även folk som inte studerar eller brukar lokalerna också ska känna sig välkomna. Entré, trappor och terrass samt serveringsdel vetter därför  mot Fatbursparkens huvudstråk. De generösa ytorna samt ljusinsläppet uppifrån till inomhustorget låter parken komma in i byggnaden. Det grönskande inomhustorget ansluter till scenrummet och på översta plan finns en servering som ansluter till en terrass med utblick över parken. / The location of the building is Fatbursparken. This is a place with a large crowd of people and the place is also called The heart of Söder. Other buildings that can be found in connection with the park include Bofill's arch, Södertornet and Oscar's memory. Oscar's memory is faced with the same problem as the new addition, the city lanes that goes under the ground, which makes the field very fragile. Another problem with the park is that it can be perceived as unsafe. To handle the city's problems, the new addition is not higher than Oscar's memory, which stand on the same terms. Many of the buildings around the park speak clear laguage of shapes and the addition has taken geometries that are already in use in the park, such as the broken circles. To create more security in the park, the site should involve different types of people, adult students, residents and bypassers in the area. It should be a place where there is always something happening, a place that adapt from time of day and season. The building is a combined education center for adults as well as cultural houses with a large audience and aims to create a safer atmosphere in the park. In the common square, the training rooms combine the place of art and performing arts. The building is meant to ensure that even people who do not study or usually use the locals will also feel welcome. Entrance, stairs and terrace as well as dining area are therefore facing the Fatburspark main thoroughfare. The generous surfaces as well as the light emitted from the top to the inner courtyard allows the park to enter the building. The lush inner courtyard connects to the scenery and on the top level there is a serving that connects to a terrace with a view of the park.

Studien behandlar specialpedagogiskt stöd i nätbaserad vuxenutbildning. Syftet är att bidra med ökad kunskap om hur man kan möta och stödja eleven för att eftersträva ökad tillgänglighet. Problempreciseringen handlar om på vilket sätt ökad tillgänglighet eftersträvas genom att lärare, studie- och yrkesvägledare, kurator och specialpedagog möter och stödjer elever. Dessutom identifieras utvecklingsområden. Inledningsvis genomfördes en enkät med eleverna och denna låg till grund för två fokusgruppintervjuer. Den ena gruppen bestod av lärare och den andra gruppen utgjordes av studie- och yrkesvägledare, kurator samt specialpedagog. Resultatet visar att det finns flera sätt att uppmärksamma och identifiera behov av extra anpassningar samt olika former av anpassningar, men även några utvecklingsområden. Sådana exempel är att vid bristande studieaktivitet bör lärare undersöka orsaken till detta samt rutiner för systematiskt arbete med uppföljning och utvärdering behöver skapas.

I denna fallstudie granskas ett i huvudsak ideellt projekt (kallat SPRINT) för volontärledd svenskundervisning av drygt 400 vuxna asylsökande i Åre kommun. Medelst observationer av undervisning och läromedel, kvalitativa intervjuer med de inblandade, samt enkäter till deltagarna har projektets bakgrund, ambitioner, upplägg och genomförande undersökts, samt hur det tagits emot av deltagarna. Upplägget uppfattas som välfungerande av samtliga inblandade och projektets resultat kan betraktas som lyckade, trots vissa upplevda hinder såsom alltför heterogena klasser med både utbildade och analfabeter, samt brist på volontärer. Således tål modellen mycket väl att upprepas i liknande situationer, där de ekonomiska resurserna är begränsade, men viljan att hjälpa stor. / This case study focuses on a local volunteer project in the municipality of Åre, aimed at teaching Swedish to over 400 adult refugees during the approximately 18 months that they have to wait for a residence permit. The background, aims, setup and operation of the project has been examined, accounted for and evaluated, as well as the perceived results. The methods used are observations of the lessons and examination of the web- based primer, interviews with the initiators, trainers, volunteers and administrator of the project, as well as a student survey. The teaching method and setup of the project is perceived as effective by all participants, although volonteers periodically were scarce and the classes too heterogeneous.The results can be considered more than satisfying. Thus the concept and setup can be recommended for use in similar situations in the future, where the financial means are lacking, but the desire to help prevails.

In this study, the aim has been to examine students with earlier school failure, their experience of studying primary and secondary courses on municipal adult education and distance learning. In 2018, the Ministry of Education published a report about municipal adult education (SOU 2018:71) which showed that there is an altered group in adult education that contains more immigrants and people in need of support to manage school. The focus in this study has been on examining the students experience and inclusion, support and the relation to their teachers. The aim came from the fact that there are many students that leave upper secondary school without grades and many of them apply for adult education. This study contains interviews with four students with many missing points for a high school degree. It also includes literature review in areas of inclusion, distance studies, support, neuropsychiatric disabilities and Sense of Coherence. The results show that distance studies are a good alternative form of studying for the students in this study, with school failure, but that they all need a lot of quick feedback and support, in various forms. They also need good relations too the teachers in order to manage distance studies. The informants in this study are positive to study at municipal adult education and distance, if they get the right support.
