Background: Sleep is important for the experience of health and is of great importance for patients’ recovery. Nurses view sleep as healing and beneficial for patients. Sleep enhancing measures are used in varying degrees and can for example include attenuation of noise and light, timing of care and clarifying information. Problem: Sleep disorders are frequentamong patients in hospitals. Sleep is important for patients’ recovery and in order for nurses to reduce sleep discomfort, it is important to identify what causes sleep discomfort. Aim: The aim is to create an overview of what patients describes influence their sleep in hospitals. Method: General literature overview with eight quantitative studies, two qualitative studies and one mixed-method study. Findings: Several recurring causes of disturbed sleep in hospitals appeared. The patients described different conditions related to the environment, such as noise and light that disturbed their sleep. Care-related conditions affecting the sleep were for example nursing and medication at night, as well as patients’ experiences of lack of control and influence. In patient-related conditions the patients experienced that pain and anxiety complicated their sleep. Conclusion: There are different causes for sleep in patients in hospitals. Common causes of disturbed sleep in hospitals include pain, noise, caring during night and anxiety.

O presente estudo aplicou o Método Bick, para fins de pesquisa, com o objetivo de desvendar e conhecer a vivência emocional da mulher sobre o parto. Foram realizadas observações sistemáticas em um Centro Obstétrico durante dezenove meses. As observações foram relatadas, supervisionadas e posteriormente analisadas. Os dados apontam o parto como um momento potencialmente desorganizador que, somado à condição regressiva das parturientes, foi capaz de produzir sobrecarga emocional e desencadear um estado de vulnerabilidade psíquica nas mulheres, mas que produziu impacto emocional também no observador e na equipe. Foi constatado o uso de mecanismos defensivos na equipe, que prejudicava a interação profissional-paciente. O Método Bick possibilitou a aproximação da vivência emocional do parto através da disponibilidade psíquica e da postura não-intrusiva do observador. O estudo sugere a necessidade de revisão das práticas relacionadas ao manejo dos aspectos emocionais das parturientes. Implicações clínicas e para a pesquisa também são abordadas. / The present study consisted of an application of the Bick method to research aiming to reveal and investigate women's emotional experience of delivery. Observations were carried out in an Obstetric Ward during nineteen months. They were written up, supervised and later analyzed. The results revealed that delivery is a potentially disorganizing moment. Due to women's regressive condition, it may produce emotional overload and trigger a state of psychic vulnerability in women, which had an emotional impact on the observer and the professionals. The use of defensive mechanisms in the professionals was observed which interfered in the professional-patient interaction. The observer's psychic availability and non intrusive position which characterize the Bick method enabled to get in contact with the emotional experience of delivery. The study suggests the need for revising professional practices related to the handling of the emotional aspects of delivery. Both clinical and research implications of the findings are also discussed.

Nesta dissertação, buscou-se demonstrar que, a despeito de existirem novas técnicas processuais, procurando tornar mais efetiva a prestação da tutela jurisdicional haverá, então, uma necessidade social quanto a se dar celeridade às demandas que se colocam ao judiciário brasileiro. Nesse sentido, observou-se que os princípios se tornam arma potente nas mãos dos julgadores, podendo proporcionar-lhes uma saída processual mais ágil para os casos que são apresentados ao Poder Judiciário. E como os princípios são consagrações de valores de justiça, são fonte do direito e são aplicados pelos magistrados, podem ser perfeitamente usados na resolução da lide, quando da ocorrência das lacunas da lei. Estudou-se, pois, como se aplica a fungibilidade entre as tutelas de urgência e o que isso pode representar para o sistema judiciário pátrio. Trabalhou-se a explicação das tutelas de urgência, fazendo-se ver a necessidade da exposição do debate da questão da substituição da tutela antecipada pela medida cautelar e vice-versa, considerando-se que, apesar disso, este fato último não tem sido bem aceito pela doutrina. Mas se verificou que de acordo com o artigo 273, 7, do Código de Processo Civil, torna-se possível a realização da troca de um pedido de antecipação de tutela feito, de forma irregular, por uma medida cautelar, digamos, incidentalmente, no processo de conhecimento. E chegou-se à conclusão de que negar o efeito da fungibilidade seria, de alguma forma, afrontar o atual direito posto, bem como ao princípio da celeridade e duração razoável do processo / In this dissertation, we sought to demonstrate that, despite the new procedural techniques exist, trying to become more effective by courts there, then, as a social need to give speed to the demands faced by the Brazilian judiciary. In this sense, it was observed that the principles become a potent weapon in the hands of judges and may give them a quicker exit procedure for cases that are presented to the Judiciary. And as a consecration of the principles are the values of justice, are a source of law and are applied by judges, can be perfectly used in the resolution of the dispute, upon the occurrence of gaps in the law. Was studied because, as it applies to fungibility between the urgency protections and what it can mean for the judiciary patriotism. Worked up an explanation of the urgency protections, making the need to see the exhibition of the debate the question of replacement of the injunction restraining and vice versa, considering that despite that, this last fact has not been well accepted by the doctrine. But it appeared that in accordance with Article 273, 7 of the Code of Civil Procedure, it becomes possible to perform the exchange of a request for early relief done irregularly, for a precautionary measure, say, incidentally, the process of knowledge. And he came to the conclusion that denying the effect of commingling would somehow defy the current law stand, and the principle of diligence and reasonable duration of proceedings

Strongly coupled systems are elusive and not suitable to be described by conventional perturbative approaches. However, they are ubiquitous in nature, especially in particle physics. The lattice formulation of quantum field theories provided a unique framework in which the physical content of these systems could be precisely determined. Combined with numerical techniques, the lattice formalism allowed to precisely determined physical quantities describing the thermodynamics, as well as the spectroscopy of strongly interacting theories. In this work, the lattice formulation has been employed to probe the effectiveness of a recently proposed method, which aims at determining the renormalized energy-momentum tensor in non perturbative regimes. The latter plays a fundamental role to quantitatively describe the thermodynamics and fluid-dynamics of hot, dense systems, or to characterize theories that enlarge the actual standard model. In all these aspects, only a non perturbative approach provides physically reliable results: hence a non perturbative determination of the energy momentum tensor is fundamental. The new method consists in defining suitable lattice Ward identities probed by observables built with the gradient flow. The new set of identities exhibits many interesting qualities, arising from the UV finiteness of such probes, and allows to define a numerical strategy for estimating the renormalization constants of the lattice energy-momentum tensor. In this work the method has been tested within two different quantum theories, with the purpose of understanding its effectiveness and reliability.

No desenvolvimento do trabalho, realizou-se a análise ergonômica dos postos de trabalho de uma enfermaria feminina de uma Santa Casa de Misericórdia e também a análise ambiental visando o conforto dos trabalhadores conforme determina a NR 17 - Ergonomia, através das avaliações de iluminação e dos níveis de ruído do local. Para a avaliação dos postos de trabalho, dividiu-se a pesquisa em quatro fases: análise do ambiente físico, análise da organização do trabalho, análise da população trabalhadora e análise do posto de trabalho. No estudo, constatou-se não conformidades ergonômicas do local, dificultando as realizações das tarefas executadas pelos enfermeiros, causando estresse e desinteresse pela atividade. Os estudos ergonômicos das funções de trabalho visaram estabelecer parâmetros que permitam a adequação das condições de trabalho às características psicofisiológicas e biomecânicas inerentes aos trabalhadores. Na análise das condições de trabalho incluíram-se aspectos relacionados ao levantamento, transporte e descarga de materiais; aos movimentos repetitivos; ao mobiliário; aos equipamentos e às condições ambientais dos postos de trabalho e a própria organização do trabalho. Verificou-se nas avaliações ambientais que a iluminância da enfermaria encontra-se abaixo dos valores determinados pela NBR 5413 - Iluminâncias de interiores, e que os níveis de ruído, segundo a NBR 10152 - Níveis de ruído para conforto acústico, estão acima dos normalizados. Mediante essas considerações foram propostas melhorias nas condições de trabalho, assim como um projeto de iluminação, a fim desta enfermaria melhorar as condições de acordo com as normas da NR-17 / This study had as objective to identify and to analyze the ergonomic conditions that intervene with the labor activities of the nurse, aiming to the improvement of the operational and organizational conditions of its activities. At the development of the work, it was become fulfilled ergonomic analysis of the working spots of a feminine nurse at a given hospital, and also the ambient analysis aiming to the workers' comfort in agreement to norm 17 NR - Ergonomics, through the evaluations of illumination and the levels of noise at these places. For the evaluation of the working spots, the research has been divided in four stages: analysis of the physical environment, analysis of the organization of the work, analysis of the diligent population and analysis of the working spot. In the study non ergonomic conformity at the place was evidenced, making it difficult the accomplishments of the tasks executed by the nurses, causing disinterest in the activity and stress. The ergonomic studies of the functions of the work had aimed to establish parameters that allow the adequacy of the working conditions to the inherited psycophisiologics and biomechanical characteristics of the workers. In the analysis of the work conditions, aspects related to lifting, transport and discharge of materials have been included, such as to repetitive movements, the furniture, the equipment and the ambient conditions of the working spots and the working organization itself. It was verified in the ambient evaluations that the luminance of the infirmary is below the values determined by the NBR 5413 - luminance of interiors, and that the levels of noise according to NBR 10152 - levels of noise for acoustic comfort, are above-normal. Taking everything into account, proposals of improvements in the work conditions have been proposed, as well as a project of illumination for the infirmary, to improve the conditions in accordance to the norms of the NR -17
