A partir de uma perspectiva Crítica do currículo, o trabalho procura investigar as maneiras pelas quais as teses sobre a pós-modernidade são discutidas, incorporadas e/ou negadas pelo campo da educação musical. Parte-se de uma discussão mais ampla sobre a construção social da escola pública no Brasil, na qual são abordados mecanismos passados e presentes de precarização intelectual e pedagógica. As recentes reformas educacionais são compreendidas, de um lado, a partir de um referencial teórico que desnuda suas implicações; de outro, por meio da análise de documentos oficiais que concernem à formação docente em música. Conceitos e pressupostos balizadores de tais reformas - tais como o de competências docentes, o de professor prático-reflexivo e o de flexibilização da formação - são interpretados à luz de seus vínculos com premissas fundamentais do debate pós-moderno em educação. O referencial teórico adotado aponta, aqui, para o intenso retrocesso formativo e intelectual carregado por tais conceitos. Nesse sentido, o modelo de formação (básica e superior) sugerido pelos documentos reformistas é entendido como um modelo alinhado e adequado aos parâmetros reguladores da vida social mais ampla. Ao final, e a partir de um levantamento na literatura da área, busca-se discutir as formas pelas quais o campo da educação musical vem lendo tais questões. Toma-se como referência e inspiração certas pesquisas que, debruçadas sobre a antiga Arte-Educação, relacionaram o esvaziamento de conteúdos especificamente musicais com as disputas mais amplas no domínio do Currículo. Sugere-se, assim, que pesquisas e análises desse tipo deveriam ser atualizadas e reforçadas pelo campo musical. O trabalho procura evidenciar a larga difusão, na área da educação musical, dos pressupostos pós-modernos/pós-estruturalistas acerca da vida social e cultural. Tal difusão se daria em paralelo à vasta incorporação das suas correlatas concepções de formação e conhecimento. São sugeridas algumas das possíveis implicações de tal incorporação - relacionadas, sobretudo, à formação docente em música e ao encaminhamento das pesquisas na área. / Through a critique perspective of a curriculum, this work aims to investigate the ways thesis about post-modernity are being discussed or denied by the musical educational field. The work aims to show up the bigger spread, in musical education area, of the presuppositions of post-modernity/ post-structuralism about the social and cultural life. This happens side by side of a wider incorporation of the corresponding conceptions of formation and knowledge. Are suggested some of the possible implications about that incorporation - related, about all things, to the teacher formation in music and the researchs in this area.

Esta pesquisa discorre, através das obras do artista Carlos Zílio, sobre pontos ora divergentes, ora complementares, tais como utopias, heterotopias, estética e política, pensamento utópico e pós-modernidade. Este artista foi selecionado levando em consideração o período de elaboração de suas obras, no qual havia uma profunda modificação na estrutura política do Brasil. As décadas de 1960/70, período de análise das obras, foram marcadas pelo Regime Militar brasileiro, que dentre das muitas ações, perseguiu aqueles que eram contrários às novas imposições governamentais. Tendo em vista essa datação das obras, as análises partem do engajamento político para o engajamento estético, fazendo uma comparação entre esses dois campos, discutindo as relações da arte com a política. Outro ponto de discussão das obras de Zílio é sua função utópica, após uma reavaliação deste conceito, que perde sua força onírica para se tornar um conceito relacionado a impulsos transformadores e políticos. Ao analisar obras deste período faz-se necessário a análise do conceito de pós-modernidade e o entrelaçamento com as utopias, considerados pensamentos antagônicos. Após as comparações entre todos os conceitos podemos intitular as obras e ações de Zílio como vida artista, conceito foucaultniano, que relaciona arte e vida dos artistas como uma ação inseparável. Zílio faz de sua vida uma ação estética / This research, through the work of artist Carlos Zílio, discusses on, at times complementary, at times divergent points such as utopias, heterotopias, aesthetics and politics, utopian thinking and postmodernity. This artist was selected taking into account the period of preparation of his pieces, when there was a profound change in the Brazilian political structure. The 1960s/70s, period of the pieces analyzed, were marked by the Brazilian military regime that, among many other actions, chased those who were opposed to the new government impositions. Given the time when the works were made, the analyzes goes from the political engagement to the aesthetic engagement, making a comparison between these two fields, discussing the relationship between art and politics. Another point of discussion of Zílios pieces is their utopian function, following a reassessment of the concept, which loses its dreamlike force to become a concept related to transforming and political impulses. By analyzing the pieces of this period, it is necessary to analyze the concept of postmodernity and the intertwining with utopias, considered antagonistic thoughts. After the comparisons between all the concepts, we title the works and actions of Zílio as artistic life, foucauldian perspective, which relates art and life of artists as an inseparable action. Over the decades, there are produced several concepts and attempts to delimit the field, never reaching a consensus on its epistemological configuration. However, it is certain it s as interdisciplinary field, without proper methodology and conceptual delimitation or without determination of its object of study, occasioning the need for epistemological studies that reflect on your place while scientific field. Among the models of postmodern science, understood as the most suitable one proposed by Boaventura de Souza Santos, mainly by retaining a positivist dimension, giving the field a certain stability. In this sense, this research, following the path opened by Wersig, aimed at analyzing the epistemological foundations on which it rests Information Science, reflecting on his place while postmodern science, and even on its conceptual definition. The analysis confirmed that the field sits on postmodern epistemological bases, but keeping a modern/positivist dimension, regarding the determination of the object of study, namely the information, while not embracing it in its density and complexity conceptual. / A Ciência da Informação é considerada uma ciência pós-moderna, emergente das transformações culturais, políticas e econômicas ocorridas em meados da segunda metade do Século XX. Ao longo dessas décadas, muitas têm sido as conceituações e tentativas de delimitação do campo, nunca se chegando a um consenso quanto a sua configuração epistemológica. No entanto, é certo trata-se de campo interdisciplinar, sem metodologia própria e sem delimitação conceitual ou determinação de seu objeto de estudo, ensejando a necessidade de estudos epistemológicos que reflitam sobre o seu lugar enquanto campo científico. Dentre os modelos de ciência pós-moderna, entende-se como o mais adequado aquele proposto por Boaventura de Souza Santos, mormente, por conservar uma dimensão positivista, dotando o campo de certa estabilidade. Nesse sentido, a presente pesquisa, seguindo na vereda aberta por Wersig, teve por objetivo a análise das bases epistemológicas nas quais se assenta a Ciência da Informação, refletindo sobre o seu lugar enquanto ciência pós-moderna e, mesmo sobre a sua delimitação conceitual. A análise corroborou que o campo assenta-se sobre bases epistemológicas pós-moderna, mas guardando uma dimensão moderna/positivista no tocante a determinação de seu objeto de estudo, a saber, a informação, ainda que não abarcando-a em sua densidade e complexidade conceitual.

[pt] O presente estudo teve o intuito de investigar os impactos que uma nova tecnologia vem tendo sobre a vida daqueles que dela fazem uso: o smartphone. Como se pode perceber, o advento das novas tecnologias foi co-responsável por algumas das mais marcantes revoluções vividas pela humanidade. Importantes trasformações no cotidiano das pessoas, que, por sua vez, geraram novas formas de sentir, se relacionar e, em última instância, de viver, foram as principais consequências da entrada em cena destas. Não haveria de ser diferente com os telefones móveis inteligentes. Como aponta a literatura, a rápida adoção dos smartphones vem trazendo mudanças para algumas áreas extremamente importantes da vida de seus usuários, como a forma com que se relacionam com os outros e com o trabalho, e a maneira como ocupam o seu tempo, por exemplo. Tal proposta foi confirmada através da realização de uma pesquisa de campo que contou com a participação de homens na faixa de 30 a 40 anos de idade. Como forma de coletar material para posterior análise, foi realizado um total de dezessete entrevistas via bate-papo do Facebook. Para se qualificar como participantes da pesquisa, os entrevistados deveriam ser brasileiros, estar atualmente inseridos no mercado de trabalho e fazer uso de telefones móveis inteligentes. A metodologia empregada para a realização da presente pesquisa foi a do Método de Explicitação do Discurso Subjacente – MEDS. Como foi possível verificar, os participantes já estão sofrendo as consequências da nova lógica instaurada pelos telefones celulares e pelos smartphones. / [en] The present study aimed to investigate the impact that a new technology has had on the lives of those who use it: the smartphone. As you can see, the advent of new technologies has been co-responsible for some of the most remarkable revolutions experienced by mankind. Important changes in daily life, which, in turn, generated new ways of feeling, relating with each other and with the world and, ultimately, new ways of living, were the main consequences of their arrival. It couldn t be any different with smart mobile phones. As indicated by the literature, the rapid adoption of smartphones has brought changes to some extremely important areas of their users lives, such as how they relate with each other and with work, and how they occupy and manage their time, for example. This was confirmed by a field research that included the participation of men aged 30 to 40 years old. In order to collect material for later analysis, a total of seventeen interviews were conducted via Facebook chat. To qualify as participants in the research, respondents should be Brazilians, be currently in the job market and make use of smart mobile phones. The methodology for conducting this research was the Method of the Underlying Discourse Explanation – MEDS. As we observed, the participants are already suffering the consequences of the new logic introduced by mobile phones and smartphones.

[pt] No intuito de contribuir com as recentes abordagens de marketing e de comportamento do consumidor que tratam de tribos e comunidades pós-modernas (Cova, 1997; Cova e Cova, 2002), e seguindo o caminho da coletivização na literatura de sociologia (Bauman, 2003; Maffesoli, 2002), que discute o retorno do homem contemporâneo a uma nova busca pela coletividade, esta pesquisa, de caráter qualitativo, tem como principal objetivo colaborar para o entendimento da dinâmica de adoção à prática da dança de salão, esta entendida como o conjunto de danças praticadas a dois (Massena, 2006). Para isto, foi investigado se (e como) esta atividade exerce o papel de valor de ligação (Cova, 1997) entre os membros da comunidade da dança, e identificado se outros bens e serviços relacionados a esta atividade também exercem essa função de valor de ligação. Deste modo, vinte pessoas (oito do sexo masculino e doze do sexo feminino), moradores do Rio de Janeiro e alunos de uma renomada escola de dança de salão do bairro de Botafogo, foram submetidas a entrevistas em profundidade, ao longo do mês de fevereiro de 2008. Os resultados sugerem que a dança de salão funciona como valor de ligação entre os membros dessa comunidade, uma vez que, segundo os informantes, esse serviço é muito mais um elemento de conexão com o outro que um elemento individualizante e diferenciador. Entretanto, não ficou evidente a existência de outros produtos relacionados a esta atividade que funcione como valor de ligação. / [en] In intention to contribute with the recent approaches of marketing and consumer behavior that deal with tribes and postmodern communities (Cova, 1997; Cova and Cova, 2002), and following the way of the collectivization in the literature of sociology (Bauman, 2003; Maffesoli, 2002), that discuss the return of the contemporary man to a new search for the collectivity, this research, of qualitative character, have as main objective to collaborate for the understanding of the dynamics of adoption to the practical of the ballroom dancing, this understood as the set of practiced danced by two (Massena, 2006). For this, it was investigated if (and as) this activity exerts the function of linking value (Cova, 1997) enters the members of the community of the dance, and identified if other related goods and services to this activity also they exert this function of linking value. In this way, twenty people (eight of masculine sex and twelve of the feminine sex), inhabitants of Rio de Janeiro and pupils of a famous ballroom dancing school from the neighborhood of Botafogo, had been submitted the interviews, throughout the February of 2008. The results suggest that the ballroom dancing functions as linking value between the members of this community, according to informants, this service is much more an element of connection with the other than a individual and differentiator element. However, the existence of other products related to this activity was not evident that functions as linking value.

The theoretical discussion based on Cultural Studies and in authors who discourse about the Post Modernity and its consumption relations is the bottom-line of this research and only by it we could elaborate the assumptions which have originated the two hypotheses, extremely connected, which sustain this thesis. The empirical research applies as a method the quantitative content analysis of the corpus, composed by advertising videos, carefully defined. Following the analytical and theoretical path, it was possible to conclude that we are in a post material era, ruled by the intangible, which modifies the market communication. / A tese é constituída por duas etapas complementares, a teórica e a empírica, essenciais para que os seguintes objetivos propostos sejam devidamente cumpridos. 1) confirmar uma mudança da práxis publicitária na qual elementos materiais e funcionais passam a ser minimizados e elementos imateriais e intangíveis evidenciados. 2) investigar de forma objetiva e comparativa o conteúdo do corpus e demonstrar quais temáticas prevalecem em diferentes períodos sociais, pontuando sua natureza tangível e intangível. 3) Apresentar e delinear o Mercado do Imaterial , o esboço de um novo modelo de segmentação de mercado que tem a imaterialidade como base. O aprofundamento teórico-conceitual alicerçado nos Estudos Culturais e em autores que discorrem sobre a pós-modernidade e suas relações de consumo é ponto de partida desta pesquisa e só por meio dele chegamos às premissas que dão origem às duas hipóteses, extremamente interligadas, que sustentam esta tese. A pesquisa empírica utiliza como procedimento metodológico a análise de conteúdo quantitativa do corpus, composto por vídeos publicitários criteriosamente definidos. Por meio do trajeto analítico e teórico, é possível concluir que estamos em um período pós-material regido pelo intangível, o que modifica a comunicação de mercado.

We have sought to understand how current characteristics such as news superficiality, speed, instantaneousness, the remarkable presence of publicity and the straightforward appeal to consumption are present in current printed journalism. First, a literature review on Journalism path, history and crisis faced over the last decades has been done. Next, an exploratory research on Metro, the studied object, has been carried out in order to evaluate the presence of characteristics which make it a current vehicle, reflecting a journalistic mutation. The review has showed the existence of a conceptual crisis, aggravated by the economic disruption and marked by the crisis in capital laws.(AU) / Esta pesquisa tem o propósito de analisar a dupla crise do jornalismo financeira e paradigmática - que têm refletido no processo de mutação jornalística observada em alguns veículos da atualidade, como é o caso do jornal gratuito Metro, nosso objeto de estudo. O que se buscou foi entender como as características dos tempos atuais, tais como superficialidade das notícias, a velocidade, a instantaneidade, a forte presença da publicidade e o apelo direto o consumo, estão presentes no jornalismo impresso atual. Em um primeiro momento realizou-se revisão bibliográfica sobre a trajetória do jornalismo, história e crise enfrentada nas últimas décadas. A seguir, fez-se uma pesquisa exploratória sobre o Metro, objeto estudado, avaliando a presença de características que o fazem um veículo da atualidade, reflexo da mutação jornalística. A análise revelou a existência de uma crise conceitual agravada pela crise econômica e marcada pelas leis do capital.(AU)

[pt] A sensação de súbita popularidade do vinho no Rio de Janeiro é comum. De uns tempos para cá, multiplicou-se o número de revistas especializadas, blogs, sites na Internet, colunas em jornais de grande circulação, cursos e grupos de degustações, lojas, livros e guias de compra de vinho. Uma das conseqüências que pode ser notada em números é o aumento do consumo da bebida no Brasil. De acordo com dados da IBRAVIN – Instituto Brasileiro do Vinho – de 2004 para 2009, a importação de vinhos finos aumentou em 58%. O objetivo desse estudo é lançar um olhar para as significações e representações do vinho por meio de uma abordagem baseada na antropologia do consumo para se entender o aumento de interesse por esse produto nas classes altas do Rio de Janeiro. Compreender a atratividade do vinho para esse público é de grande relevância tanto para academia como para as empresas do setor. Foi realizada uma revisão de literatura sobre a sociedade pós-moderna e suas transformações mais recentes, assim como uma pesquisa de campo qualitativa, que contou com entrevistas em profundidade e com observação participante, para se entender o lugar do vinho no imaginário do consumidor. Ao final, se relacionou essas mudanças da dinâmica social e as significações desse produto para o consumidor pós-moderno para decifrar o aumento da atratividade do vinho. Os resultados sugerem que o vinho representa e significa aspirações que, segundo as teorias sociais, o sujeito pós-moderno tem: a imagem do vinho está associada à sofisticação, ao status, à tradição, à experiência, ao prazer, à cultura e à sociabilidade. / [en] The feeling that the wine has gained sudden popularity in Rio de Janeiro is common. For some time, the number of specialized magazines, blogs, websites, articles in major newspapers, courses and groups of tastings, stores, books and guides has multiplied. One of the consequences that can be noticed in figures is the increase of drink consumption in Brazil. According to data from IBRAVIN – Brazilian Wine Institute – from 2004 to 2009 – the import of wine has increased by 58%. The goal of this study is to take a look at the meanings and representations of the wine through an approach based on the anthropology of consumption, to understand the increase of interest in this product by the upper classes in Rio de Janeiro. To understand why this product is so attractive to this public is of great relevance to the academy and to the companies. There has been a literary review on post-modern society and on its most recent transformations, as well as a qualitative field research which included in-depth interviews and participant observation, to understand which place the wine occupies in the consumers imaginary. Ultimately, the changes in the social dynamic were related to the meanings this product has to the post-modern consumer to decipher the increased attractiveness of the wine. The results suggest that the wine represents and means aspirations that, according to social theories, the post-modern individual has: the image of the wine is associated to sophistication, status, tradition, experience, pleasure, culture and sociability.

This artist was selected taking into account the period of preparation of his pieces, when there was a profound change in the Brazilian political structure. The 1960s/70s, period of the pieces analyzed, were marked by the Brazilian military regime that, among many other actions, chased those who were opposed to the new government impositions. Given the time when the works were made, the analyzes goes from the political engagement to the aesthetic engagement, making a comparison between these two fields, discussing the relationship between art and politics. Another point of discussion of Zílios pieces is their utopian function, following a reassessment of the concept, which loses its dreamlike force to become a concept related to transforming and political impulses. By analyzing the pieces of this period, it is necessary to analyze the concept of postmodernity and the intertwining with utopias, considered antagonistic thoughts. After the comparisons between all the concepts, we title the works and actions of Zílio as artistic life, foucauldian perspective, which relates art and life of artists as an inseparable action.
