Uticaj informacionih tehnologija na organizacione performanse preduzeća u Srbiji

<p>Disertacija se bavi utvrđivanjem smera i intenziteta<br />uticaja informacionih tehnologija na pojedine<br />organizacione i poslovne performanse u preduzećima<br />u Srbiji. Pri tme su posmatrane sledeće performanse:<br />zadovoljstvo poslom, zadovoljstvo komunikacijom, organizaciona posvećenost, međusobno poverenje na<br />poslu, organizacionoo učenje, finansijske<br />performanse i profesionalni respekt prema lideru.<br />Istraživanje je realizovano u preduzećima u Srbiji,<br />tako &scaron;to su ispitanici (srednji menadžeri) popunili<br />upitnike. Za istraživanje su kori&scaron;ćeni odgovori od<br />ukupno N = 380 srednjih menadžera iz 102<br />preduzeća. Najvažniji rezultati istraživanja su sledeći:<br />1. Utvrđen je postojeći nivo savremenosti i primene<br />informacionih tehnologija, kao i nivo pažnje koja se<br />poklanja informacionim tehnologijama, u<br />preduzećima u Srbiji. 2. Utvrđeno je stanje<br />informacionih tehnologija u zavisnosti od nekoliko<br />kriterijuma: pol CEO, godine CEO, vlasnička<br />struktura preduzeća, finansijske performanse, profesionalni respekt prema lideru i poverenje u<br />akcije menadžmenta. 3. Utvrđeno je da su<br />informacione tehnologije pokazatelj nivoa<br />posmatranih organizacionih i poslovnih performansi.<br />4. Utvrđeno je da postoji statistički značajan uticaj<br />informacionih tehnologija na posmatrane<br />organizacione i poslovne performanse. 5. Ispitana su i<br />definisana moderatorna dejstva tri moderatora:<br />Profesionalni respekt prema lideru, Poverenje u<br />akcije menadžmenta i Vlasnička struktura preduzeća, na odnos informacionih tehnologija i zadovoljstva<br />komunikacijom i organizacionog učenja. 6. Definisane su preporuke za lidere i menadžere u vezi<br />sa tim kako unaprediti performanse preduzeća,<br />posmatrano iz perspektive informacionih tehnologija<br />i njihove primene.</p> / <p>The dissertation deals with determining the direction<br />and intensity of the impact of information<br />technologies on individual and organizational<br />performance of companies in Serbia. Observed are<br />the following performances: job satisfaction,<br />communication satisfaction, organizational<br />commitment, mutual trust at work, organizational<br />learning, financial performance and professional<br />respect for the leader. The survey was conducted in<br />companies in Serbia, by the respondents (middle<br />managers) completing questionnaires. For the study<br />there were used responses from a total of N = 380<br />middle managers from 102 companies. The most<br />important results of the research are as follows: 1.<br />Defined is the current level of modernity and<br />application of information technologies, as well as the<br />level of attention paid to information technologies in<br />companies in Serbia. 2. Defined is the situation of<br />information technologies depending on several<br />criteria: gender of the CEO, age of the CEO, the<br />ownership structure of the company, financial<br />performance, professional respect for the leader and<br />trust in the actions of management. 3. It is found that<br />information technologies are an indicator of the level<br />of the observed organizational and business<br />performance. 4. It is found that there is a statistically<br />significant impact of information technologies on the<br />observed organizational and business performance. 5. Tested and defined are the moderating effects of three<br />moderators: professional respect for the leader, trust<br />in the action of management and ownership structure<br />of the company, on the relationship of information<br />technologies and communication satisfaction and<br />organizational learning. 6. There are defined<br />recommendations for leaders and managers in this<br />regard to improve the performance of the company,<br />from the perspective of information technologies and<br />their application.</p>

El trabajo se centra en el estudio de la influencia de las tecnologías de la información (TI) en los resultados de las empresas desde la enfoque de recursos y capacidades. A partir del análisis controvertido de la bibliografía existente hasta la década de los 90, se propone un modelo de medida de las TI, de las ventajas competitivas internas y externas que dichas tecnologías son susceptibles de generar y su repercusión sobre el rendimiento de las empresas. El análisis empírico realizado sobre una muestra de 186 empresas, determina relaciones significativas entre el esfuerzo inversor en TI y las ventajas competitivas generadas, que junto con la existencia complementaria de factores organizativos contingentes influyen de forma positiva sobre el rendimiento de las empresas. / The work concentrates on the study of the information technologies (IT) influences on the results of the companies from the Resource-based Approach. From the controversial analysis of the existing bibliography until the decade of the 90, we propose a measurement model of IT, its internal and external competitive advantages that these technologies are susceptible to generate and its repercussion on the companies performance. The empirical analysis made on a sample of 186 companies, determines significant relations between the investing effort in IT and the generated competitive advantages, that along with the complementary existence of contingent organizational factors, influence in a positive way on the firms performance.

From Machine House To Smart Home: The Relationship Between Technology And Private Sphere Throughout The 20th Century

This study is an attempt for providing a socio-historical perspective to the smart home concept that is a proposal for the future domestic sphere by the application of intelligent technologies. For achieving this attempt, the smart home is investigated with its roots within the social history of domestic technology, by posing the question of a relation between the machine house idea of modern architecture and the smart home concept as the main question of the research. After an inquiry on the smart home concept and on the future private sphere that is envisaged within it, the emergence of modern private sphere, the transformation of private sphere under the impacts of industrialization, the appearance and the social consequences of the machine house idea, the introduction of mass produced appliances to the home and the impacts of it on private sphere, the development of communication and information technologies and their domestication processes are investigated. The coconstructive relationship of technology with the private sphere is pursued throughout this investigation. The research questions of the study are answered in the light of the gained knowledge and critical perspective throughout the investigations. At the end, it is revealed that the smart home has conceptual, technical, and ideological constructive roots within the histories of the modern private sphere, modern architecture and design, and domestic communication and information technologies. It is discussed that these roots constitute the smart home as a domain of social reproduction, which also provides the ground for its conceptualization and promotion as the future domestic sphere.

Land Degradation Assessment For An Abandoned Coal Mine With Geospatial Information Technologies

This study proposes an approach for land degradation assessment for an abandoned coal mine by using geospatial information technologies. The land degradation assessment focuses on two major changes: topographical and Land Use and Land Cover (LULC). For this purpose, stereo aerial photos, Worldview-1, Landsat and ASTER images, Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS) data, Global Positioning System (GPS) data, and ancillary maps were used for abandoned Ovacik surface coal mine. Volume of excavations and fillings, drainage network deviations, and slope instabilities were the investigated topographical disturbances by comparison of the Digital Elevation Models (DEM) for pre- and post-mining stages. Using aerial photos and Worldview-1 satellite image, LULC maps were prepared based on the same time period. Then areal extent and spatial pattern of the LULC change was calculated and mapped by post classification comparison method. The results of land degradation assessment show that there was a significant topographical disturbance and LULC change in the research area. Particularly, three dump areas with a total volume of 2,334,878 m3 were identified by DEM subtraction. It was found that stream network around the primary dump site shifted towards south with a maximum displacement of 60m. Slope analysis reveals that slopes higher that 60 degrees were mainly observed in excavation area with 81 percent. LULC change study showed that the forest area decreased an amount of 106,485 m2 from 1951 to 2008. However / by means of the forestation efforts in dump sites, an amount of 106,012 m2 forest land was recovered.

This work presents IT support stages and required software to establish best practice approaches for IT service management, based on ITIL. Proposed recommendations are not related to core business and organization‘s IT. They can be applied by organizations with support their IT themselves and by IT support outsourcing companies.

Darbas yra aktualus, nes viešojo sektoriaus įstaigose ir organizacijose kol kas nėra pakankamų žinių apie informacinių technologijų valdymo procesų tobulinimo metodus. Dažnai informacinių technologijų plėtra ir strateginis valdymas yra suprantama kaip technologinis, o ne kaip vadybinis uždavinys, todėl tampa atskirti nuo pagrindinių įstaigos veiklos procesų ir vyksta nepriklausomai nuo pagrindinės įstaigos veiklos. Šiame magistriniame darbe išanalizuotos Lietuvos viešojo sektoriaus informacinių technologių strateginio valdymo problemos nustatytas Lietuvos viešojo sektoriaus strateginio valdymo lygis. Šio darbo tyrimo objektas – Lietuvos Respublikos viešojo sektoriaus informacinių technologijų strateginis valdymas. Tikslas – nustatyti Lietuvos Respublikos informacinių technologijų strateginio valdymo galimybes, taikant tarptautinį standartą COBIT. Iškeltam tikslui pasiekti ir išspręsti tokie uždaviniai, kaip: informacinių technologijų strateginio valdymo svarba, atlikta teisinės bazės, reglamentuojančios viešojo sektoriaus informacinių technologijų valdymą, analizė, išanalizuotas tarptautinį standartą – COBIT ir sugretintas su Lietuvos teisine baze, tai pat atlikta ekspertų apklausa. Open learning technology and the rural school: The effects on classroom practice

New developments in information and communications technologies have rapidly made their way into the forefront of educational concerns. With exciting possibilities for global communication, access to vast amounts of information and new approaches to teaching and learning practices, a small number of schools have integrated the technology into the school environment. However, the majority of schools are just feeling their way and this is particularly so in small rural schools which are removed from the high technology communications networks of the capital cities. This study placed open learning technology into three rural schools where the teachers had control over its use. Using qualitative multi-site case study techniques, the effect of the technology on the planning and teaching strategies of the teachers, classroom organisation and management, changes in teacher-student interactions, student motivation, curriculum enhancement and/or extension, the role of the teacher, and professional development issues was investigated. It was found that the use of the technology had a positive effect on encouraging open learning and student-centred approaches to lesson delivery. The Internet and e-mail were accepted by the teachers and the wider school community and became part of normal classroom activities. Staff development opportunities figured largely in the outcomes of this study being revealed as a necessity for teacher adoption of the innovation. The leadership role of the principals emerged as an important theoretical construct influencing the implementation of the innovation. Finally, the introduction of the technology was found to contribute to breaking down the barriers of distance that are a characteristic of rural and isolated schools. By providing teachers in rural schools with access to open learning technology that can be readily integrated into teaching activities, it is likely that lasting change in attitude to the legitimacy of information gained through the technology, and a greater level of independent student classroom activity, will occur.

Buscouse analisar se o processo dialógico estabelecido em um fórum de discussão pode favorecer a construção do espaço crítico e o desenvolvimento de ações articuladas entre a sala de aula, a biblioteca e o laboratório. A investigação se deu por meio da realização de um estudo de caso com observação intensiva, em uma amostra composta por três turmas de uma disciplina ministrada em um curso de graduação da Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), perfazendo um total de 109 estudantes. Os procedimentos de coleta dos dados utilizados incluíram a observação direta e intensiva das aulas cursadas pelas três turmas; a realização de uma intervenção com a implantação do fórum de discussão da disciplina na Internet; a observação indireta do movimento de utilização da Biblioteca pelos alunos; a realização de grupos focais com os estudantes, com as bibliotecárias, aplicação de questionário junto aos estudantes e de entrevistas com o professor. A análise dos dados se realizou a partir da integração de abordagens quantitativas e qualitativas. Os resultados mostraram que o ambiente da sala de aula está concentrado no nivelamento do conhecimento entre os estudantes a partir da apresentação dos conteúdos programáticos, ficando o espaço crítico limitado ao esclarecimento de dúvidas. As tecnologias da comunicação e informação utilizadas nesse ambiente cumprem apenas uma função auxiliar na promoção do contato dos estudantes com o conhecimento. O laboratório limita-se a oferecer acesso aos recursos tecnológicos para acesso à informação, tratamento e análise de dados e digitação de trabalhos acadêmicos, enquanto a biblioteca mantém-se favorecendo o acesso à informação científica. Esses ambientes, que poderiam atuar no favorecimento das interações para o debate, permanecem atuando isoladamente, com metas específicas, sem integração entre si. Como resultado dessa intervenção verificou-se que o uso dos recursos tecnológicos, em um fórum de discussão, poderá favorecer ações integradas da sala de aula, da biblioteca e do laboratório. Os novos recursos tecnológicos são mais empregados por alunos e professores para o acesso e compartilhamento das informações. No fórum de discussão a etapa de acesso também representou um espaço do exercício da leitura, e o compartilhamento das reflexões, na expansão do debate, um espaço do exercício da escrita. Assim, tendo o ensino-aprendizagem como foco central de todas as atividades da universidade, as etapas de acesso e de troca das informações, nas quais se dá o uso mais intenso das diversas tecnologias, poderão ser trabalhadas articuladamente entre a sala de aula, a biblioteca e laboratório, sendo o fórum de discussão, um espaço possível de atividades conjuntas desses ambientes. Ações integradas da sala de aula, da biblioteca e do laboratório voltadas ao ensino-aprendizagem na graduação devem nortear todo planejamento acadêmico, constituindo-se em meta central para o aprofundando do debate e expansão do espaço crítico na universidade. / Salvador
