[en] POLICY OF PERMANENT EDUCATION BY CFESS/CRESS AS A STRATEGY FOR (RE)AFFIRMATION OF THE ETHICAL-POLITICAL PROJECT OF SOCIAL WORK / [pt] POLÍTICA DE EDUCAÇÃO PERMANENTE DO CONJUNTO CFESS/CRESS COMO ESTRATÉGIA DE (RE)AFIRMAÇÃO DO PROJETO ÉTICO-POLÍTICO DO SERVIÇO SOCIALMARIANA BRITO HORTA NOGUEIRA 18 June 2024 (has links)
(re)afirmação do Projeto Ético-Político do Serviço Social.
Serviço Social no contexto do capitalismo contemporâneo; e compreender o
acirramento da precarização do trabalho da assistente social. A questão norteadora
CFESS/CRESS fortalece o Projeto Ético-Político do Serviço Social, no entanto, o
(IBGE) e relatórios do Banco Mundial.
[en] The present master s thesis aims to analyze the Permanent Education Policy
of the CFESS/CRESS as a strategy for (re)affirming the Ethical-Political Project
of Social Work. It seeks to reflect on bourgeois education for the formation of
human capital and education from an emancipatory and counter-hegemonic
perspective; to examine the process of transformation and precarization in the
world of work and its repercussions on Social Work in the context of
contemporary capitalism; and to understand the intensification of the precarization
of the social worker s labor. The guiding question of this research is that the
Permanent Education Policy of the CFESS/CRESS streng thens the Ethical Political Project of Social Work, however, the advancement of labor precarization
impacts the spaces of organization and training of social workers. This is a
qualitative research, with methodological strategies involving literature review
and documentary research with analysis of documents from the CFESS/CRESS,
Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (Inep),
International Labour Organization (ILO), Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e
Estatística (IBGE), and World Bank reports. Data analysis shows the intrinsic
relationship between education and work, the commodification of education, and
the importance of education as a tool for human emancipation. It also highlights
the challenges faced by Social Work in advocating for a permanent education.

[en] A PERVASIVE PLATFORM FOR INCLUSIVE EDUCATION SUPPORTED BY AI / [pt] UMA PLATAFORMA PERVASIVA PARA EDUCAÇÃO INCLUSIVA APOIADA POR IADJALMA LUCIO SOARES DA SILVA 18 June 2024 (has links)
A plataforma
e realidade estendida.
A plataforma desenvolvida demonstra
[en] The global prevalence of learning disorders, such as dyslexia, dyscalculia,
autism, and attention disorders, affects approximately 10 percent of the population,
according to (BUTTERWORTH, 2018). In Brazil, the lack of a specific census
makes precise estimation difficult, but it is estimated that a significant number of children face learning challenges. This context underscores the need for
inclusive solutions, especially to assist teachers of students in the early years of
Elementary School. This research aims to develop, validate, and evaluate a pervasive web-based platform. The platform aims to provide an infrastructure for
the creation and execution of playful activities, incorporating machine learning
algorithms and extended reality. The focus is on stundents in the early years
of Elementary School diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Additionally, affordable alternatives are sought to keep the platform aligned with the Brazilian socioeconomic context. The research adopted the Design Science Research (DSR)
methodology, which is based on interconnected and iterative cycles, including
problem definition, conception, construction, evaluation, and dissemination.
This method guided the development of the platform, ensuring a practical and
applied approach to the inclusive educational context. The research results
led to the creation of a comprehensive and accessible web platform, integrating machine learning algorithms and extended reality. The platform enables
teachers to customize playful activities to meet the specific needs of students
with ASD and ADHD. The developed platform shows promising contributions
to inclusive education, offering innovative and accessible resources. By providing a tool adaptable to Brazilian socioeconomic demands, the research seeks to
contribute equal educational opportunities for students with different learning
needs, as guaranteed by law through the Brazilian Law of Inclusion of Persons
with Disabilities, Chapter IV – The Right to Education, Sole Paragraph, It is
the duty of the State, the family, the school community, and society to ensure
quality education for people with disabilities, protecting them from all forms of
violence, neglect, and discrimination.

[en] PRE-VESTIBULAR COMMUNITY POMPEIA SAINT AUGUSTINE: HISTORY AND MEANING IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF PRECURSORS / [pt] PRÉ-VESTIBULAR COMUNITÁRIO POMPEIA SANTO AGOSTINHO: HISTÓRIA E SIGNIFICADOS NA PERSPECTIVA DOS PRECURSORESJULIO MENDES DE ASSIS 21 November 2016 (has links)
[en] The objective of this present work it is to make the historical constitution of the Community Pre-College Course Pompeii St. Augustine-CPVCPSA the perspective of precursors. This is on the assumption that the implementers of the project had as influences or references social movements of popular education that preceded the CPVCPSA, as the Pre-College for Blacks and Needy - PVNC, which has similarity to the pre-university in question. However, as the PVNC the CPVCPSA also it is based on the Catholic Church and, in the case of CPVCPSA, this works to nowadays, in the parish of Our Lady of Pompeii Rosary, located in Ricardo de Albuquerque neighborhood, suburb of Rio de Janeiro. To achieve the goal proposed by this study, and based on field research, we chose the methodology descriptive and qualitative. To data collect was chosen by applying a semi-structured questionnaire with the precursors, this is, five volunteer teachers who joined the pre from 2001 to 2005, because we consider this period as the consolidation of the pre. After the data collection, analysis was made of the interviews and, while after the bibliographic review, We observe the motivations that had precursors. They had to join as a volunteer teacher in this community pre-university, after being students of the pre. At the end of the study, it was found that the motivations of precursors are based on the sense of belonging to the local community, the emotional bonds that have been built and the desire to contribute to continue the CPVCPSA activities. It was also concluded that the meaning of this experience pervaded the issue of participatory citizenship of the subjects, as the survey respondents from the inclusion in the Pre-College, became multipliers and emblematic personalities. The interviews showed that the precursors brought successful careers and commitment to the transformation of students reality, generated mostly positive repercussions on the Community pre-university itself, in the family, community and in the general neighborhood.

70
contribuíram significativamente para o surgimento e
desenvolvimento desse Movimento, inserido numa cultura
fortemente marcada pelo pensamento religioso cristão, na
qual a chamada - religiosidade popular - possui grande
chamada - Mística do MST -.

As

investigated the educational practices of the two formal Masters of the Boi de
Pindaré: Master Castro and Marter João do Sá Viana told through their identity
narratives and of the subjects who participate. The trajectories of the masters
were studied from comings and goings, in a process of ruptures, sutures that is
natural in the identity of the human being. The importance of these Masters
cannot be highlighted as non-formal educators of the popular culure of Maranhão
because it is through their teaching that the elements contained in the tradition of
Bumba meu boi of Maranhão are propagated, which were full of meanings and
full of symbologies and as memories and knowledge revealed a network of
knowledge built and reconstructed, enabling, an attentive relationship and
exchange of knowledge through orality and pedagogical practices that arouse
provocations and dialogism. In this context, the female role is studied through the
empowerment of women who make the Boi de Pindaré, recognizing their
leadership within the nuclei that act and the visibility of their actions as
propagators of tradition. Non-formal teaching is carried out in rehearsals, during
presentations and mainly in the educational space at headquarters, which is open
to the entire community as a social and cultural place for coexistence, teaching
and learning. Documentary analysis and oral history were used as a
methodology, based on interviews with masters and players of the Ox of Pindaré.
It is concluded that these singing Masters play an important role as non-formal
educators of Maranhão popular culture, because it is throung their teachings that
the knowledge, contained in the tradition of Bumba my ox of Maranhão is
propagated, which has popular elements full of meanings and full of symbologies
and memories and Knowledge. The research revealed a network of
reconstructed knowledge, which enable connections and exchange of knowledge through orality and pedagogical practices that arouse provocations and
diaologism.

[en] TODAY I AM A HEROINE BECAUSE I CAN READ IDENTITY CONSTRUCTIONS IN ADULTS AND YOUNG ADULTS EDUCATION FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF NARRATIVE AS A SOCIAL PRACTICE AND THE APPRAISAL SYSTEM / [pt] HOJE EU SOU UMA HEROÍNA PORQUE EU SEI LER: CONSTRUÇÕES IDENTITÁRIAS NA EDUCAÇÃO DE JOVENS E ADULTOS SOB A ÓTICA DA NARRATIVA COMO PRÁTICA SOCIAL E DO SISTEMA DE AVALIATIVIDADE.JULIA RODRIGUES CHAGAS CABRAL 16 July 2019 (has links)
Além disso, as construções identitárias emergentes durante a entrevista possuem forte relação com o estigma do analfabetismo e, muitas vezes, o corroboram. / [en] Inserted in the area of Applied Linguistics, this research investigates the sociodiscursive construction of identities in the narratives of a student from the Adults and Young Adults Education Program. Considering that the participant has a late process of literacy, the main objective of the study is to understand the relationship between her identity constructions and the stigma experienced by individuals who cannot read and write in the Brazilian society. The theoretical framework combines the socio-constructionist approach of identities (MOITA LOPES, 2001, 2002, 2003, HALL 2005, BAUMAN 2005) and of discourse (MOITA LOPES, 2001, 2003) to the study of narrative as a social practice as well as to the theory of language proposed by Systemic-functional Linguistics (HALLIDAY, HALLIDAY; HASAN, 1989; HALLIDAY; MATTHIESSEN, 2014), focusing on the Appraisal System (MARTIN and WHITE, 2005). The study was carried out during a semistructured interview recorded in audio and is aligned with the qualitative and interpretative paradigm (DENZIN; LINCOLN, 2006). Results suggest that although the participant points out several obstacles that prevented her from studying, she does not understand her non-schooling as a result of a historical process of violation of rights, but as a personal experience related to specific factors in her life history. In addition, identity constructions emerging during the interview are strongly related to the stigma of illiteracy, and often corroborate it. These identities sometimes point to overcoming this experience, sometimes suggest that the participant still does not see herself as a literate person. Such paradoxes are interwoven with the complex, multiple, and contradictory nature of the identity phenomenon in contemporary times.

[en] HUMAN CAPITAL THEORY IN BRAZIL: PIONEERING, RESISTANCES, AND RECENT INFLUENCE ON THE FORMULATION OF SOCIAL POLICIES / [pt] A TEORIA DO CAPITAL HUMANO NO BRASIL: PIONEIRISMO, RESISTÊNCIAS E SUA RECENTE INFLUÊNCIA NA FORMULAÇÃO DE POLÍTICAS SOCIAISLEO POSTERNAK 30 April 2015 (has links)
Desníveis provenientes do sistema educacional
seguidores, aquelas ideias e a própria Teoria do Capital Humano passaram a
sociedade brasileira. / [en] Human Capital Theory proposes that formal education is necessary to
increase a population s productivity: an educated population tends also to be a
productive one and to present a higher level of social well-being that provides
reduction of poverty and income inequality. Based on Human Capital Theory,
Carlos Geraldo Langoni pioneered, in the 1970s, a study on the variation of
income inequality in Brazil during the 1960s. His work demonstrated that
education was the variable that best correlated with future income inequality.
The inequality gaps involving children and adolescents in the Brazilian
educational system were reproduced in wage gaps among workers in the labor
market. Langoni contributed to the formation of a group of Brazilian researchers
who were influenced by this theory. As of the 1990s, these researchers were
involved in the public debate regarding the issuance of cash transfers conditional
on school attendance programs. Although these conclusions based on Human
Capital Theory presented by Langoni in 1973 were consistent and represented an
important contribution to the understanding of income inequality, the political and
academic environment of the 1970s ended by inhibiting the impact and
recognition of the work. Starting in the 1990s, headed by his followers, those
ideas and Human Capital Theory influenced governments, social policies, and
somehow the choices of Brazilian society.

Além disso, conforme esperado, o Desempenho Inovador afeta positivamente o Desempenho Organizacional. / [en] Knowledge is seen increasingly as an important driver of economic growth and innovation, which arouses increasing interest for the improvement of education. Brazil is no exception: the Brazilian society is increasingly aware of the need to enhance the mechanisms by which education takes place. On the other hand, from a theoretical point of view, still exists in the literature, the concern to understand how the constructs of leadership and organizational climate to support creativity and innovation in organizations impact innovation and, as a result, its performance. This study aimed, therefore, to meet a social concern, improving education, while contributing to the understanding of the complex relationships between factors internal to the organization and its impact on innovation conducted in the organization and performance obtained by it. Thus, the organizations chosen for the study were public schools in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The literature review focused on literature on leadership and the role of leaders in driving innovation, since a large portion of the innovations is not the result of chance, but of effective management in the search for solutions to problems that arise in the market or within their own organizations, and literature on the role of organizational climate to support creativity and innovation, including studies that examine the relationship between innovation and performance of organizations. From the literature studied, developed scales were identified in the management area, covering different facets of the constructs Leadership and Organizational Climate to Support Creativity and Innovation. Specifically, the MLQ scales were used (Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire-Form 5 x) on Bass and Avolio (2004) and the SSSI (Siegel Scale of Support for Innovation) of Siegel and Kaemmerer (1978). Performance was measured by variables related to aspects not only learning content by students, but also motivational, concerning the motivation of teachers and staff and cooperation of family members of students, in preference to the results IDEB (Basic Education Development Index) of the Ministry of Education and Culture, composed only for issues related to adoption and learning (of portuguese and mathematics) of the students. The field research in the public schools of Rio de Janeiro was conducted between February and April 2013, being sent questionnaires to all 358 municipal schools offering elementary school in the final year (6th to 9th grade) and who had ratings IDEB the years 2007, 2009 and 2011. The results show the theoretical aspects of the conceptual model drawn, observing the effect of Leadership on Organizational Climate to Support Creativity and Innovation, and this, in turn, on Innovative Performance of the organization. Furthermore, as expected, the Innovative Performance positively affects organizational performance.

[en] This study analyses how poor women – working as cleaning ladies at a private university at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil – organize their life, social and work experiences in life story narratives. In recent times, the Humanities and Social Science have become increasingly more interested in narrative studies as action in the social world, in processes of identity construction. In this sense, the data, produced in interview situation, were analyzed based on a qualitative and interpretative methodology, from a socio-interactional discourse perspective. The analysis uses labovian categories in order to identify narrative episodes, focusing on evaluative resources, and observes, from the narrative/identity performances of the women interviewed, the meanings constructed in (re)telling past experiences, current situations or future or hypothetical projections. Thus, the narratives studied have made it possible to observe some dimensions of the world of the women interviewed and how they construct meanings and connections with regards to their lives (family and education) and jobs. In this world, the life experiences are presented with very little access to education and to the family support, which is reflected in the women’s identity constructions. The family’s role is crucial in the process of organizing meanings. Children help these women to tolerate the hardness and the humiliation in/from their job. Their identity constructions are based on their experiences of motherhood and the hope of a better life.

humana. / [en] The objective of this dissertation is to explore the different conceptions of
reading and citizenship behind public policy discourse in Mexico, particularly in
the National Reading Program for Primary Education (Programa Nacional de
Lectura para la Educación Básica, PNL) in the period between 2002 and 2012.
The methodology used for this research consisted of analysis of official
documents regarding public policy, and a theoretical-philosophical discussion of
the concepts of citizenship and reading. From a Marxist critique of the concept of
citizenship it was possible to understand that schools participate, through
compensatory programs like the PNL, in the formation of citizens who are aligned
towards the principles of a liberal democratic state, while opening loopholes for
human emancipation through the formation of critical and autonomous readers.
