物件導向資料庫系統績效評估方法之研究--以系統分析方法為之工作量模式 / Benchmark workload modeling for OODBMS - system analysis orientation

現今的物件導向資料庫績效評估存在著許多的缺失。1.針對特定的應用領域,其測試工作量模型並無法代表使用者的需求。2.針對特定的資料模型,主要在衡量資料庫設計之技巧及效能。3.測試資料庫綱目變得複雜,測試運算變得繁多,使用者欲自行建立績效評估十分不容易。為了解決以上的問題,本研究擬使用物件導向系統分析的方法作為使用者建構工作量模型的工具,經過一、工作量需求分析階段。二、工作量規則描述階段。三、績效評估的測試階段。最後發展出一個用以測試物件導向資料庫的績效評估環境。由於測試之資料庫綱目與測試運算均是從使用者之需求著手,將使得測試之工作量對使用者而言,更具一致性、代表性與正確性,測試所得之數據與使用者更具相關性。另一方面,為了驗證所提出理論的可行性,我們發展了工作量模型產生器之雛型系統,使用者只須使用視覺化的圖形符號來編輯其工作量模型,系統即會產生工作量模型之規格描述,作為建構績效評估系統之進一步應用。在物件導向資料庫的應用範圍愈來愈廣泛、資料庫之資料量日益龐大的未來,以使用者需求為導向之績效評估將會是未來績效評估之發展方向。 / Existing object-oriented database benchmarks have the following drawbacks 1.They are designed to apply to specific domains, so the workload models of theirs are unable to fully represent user requirements 2.They are designed to apply to the specific data model, and their main intentions are to measure the techniques and therefore performance of database design. 3.As the database schemes are more complex and test operations are more myriad, it will be harder and harder for users intending to implement the benchmark according to the benchmark specification. In order to resolve the above problems, this thesis tries to model user's workload with system analysis methods. After 1.workload requirement analysis phase. 2.workload requirement specification phase 3.benchmark experiment phase, we will develop a benchmark application program used to benchmark the OODBMS. Because our benchmark database schemes and operations are derived from the user requirements, the workload will be more consistent, more representative and more accurate and the result will be more meaningful to users. In order to validate the theory we propose, we develop a prototype of the workload generator. After users have finished editing their workload model with visual graphic notations, the system will output workload specifications, which will be used in the later phase. As the application domain of OODBMS are more diverse and database are more huge, the trend of benchmarks is toward user requirement driven in the future.

超媒體智慧型電腦輔助教學系統之建構與應用研究 / The development and application of hypermedia intelligent computer - aided instructional system

資訊科技之進步是教育向前的助力,延伸教學活動的時間與空間,增加學生學習選擇的彈性。現代之教學強調以學生為中心,一方面希望學生能自由操控學習活動,一方面又希望學生的學習能達到真正的理解。因此,本研究乃以教學原理之教學基本歷程為中心,強調學生是教學活動的重心,從學生使用面來發展一超媒體智慧型電腦輔助教學系統,包括完整的教學功能、提供親和性的使用者介面、依學生之個別差異選擇學習教材與評量測驗後之補救加強教材。同時引用適當的發展方法來引導系統開發,並發展一原型系統作為驗證。 本研究採用開放性層次架構(Layer Structure)方法,從應用層(需求分析)、概念層(概念設計)及實體層(實體設計)來規範系統發展。以超媒體(Hypermeida)方法設計使用者操作介面及資訊畫面的組織呈現,以物件導向(Object-Oriented)方法建立系統概念模式,以多媒體資料庫(Multimedia Database)方法建立系統資料庫結構,以規則表示方式建立系統知識庫。並以軟體整合(Software Integration)方法,建立系統實體發展作業環境。 本研究提出一強調個人化學習之系統功能架構,學生可瀏覽、查詢、加註、評量及作筆記,考慮學生的學習風格並整合學生使用的學習策略,有助學生進行學習統整與記憶保留,結合了個人化教學、精熟學習、發現探索學習、討論學習及電腦輔助教學理論與方法。此外,本研究之超媒體智慧型電腦輔助教學系統架構功能也符合文獻所提之典型智慧型電腦輔助教學系統架構。

隨著全球化生產型態的轉變以及區域製造中心的形成,傳統位於單一地點的製造環境早已不符合企業實際的需求,取而代之的是一個全球化的製造環境。而由於全球化的環境容易造成溝通與協調上的不便,因此如何利用資訊科技發展出一個完善的資訊系統來支援製造功能,乃是一件刻不容緩的事情。本研究首先探討全球化製造環境的特性,並依據此特性提出一個符合此環境需求之製造資訊系統的架構,再就此架構建立出一簡單的概念模型。最後,並提出一個以物件導向方法為基礎的系統分析方法,來協助企業管理人員發展出符合其企業特質之製造資訊系統。 / Due to the change of production type and the development of regional manufacturing centers, the traditional and stand-alone manufacturing environment is no longer suitable to the operations of modern manufacturing enterprise. Instead of it, a global manufacturing environment is to be paid much attention to recently. Since the global environment is easy to make the communication and coordination be inconvenient, how to apply information technology to develop a well-defined information system for supporting manufacturing functions of the enterprise is an important task to be accomplished.In this research, firstly, we try to clarify the properties of a global manufacturing environment, then propose an architecture for the manufacturing information system based on these properties. Secondly, we intend to establish a model of the global manufacturing information system based on the architecture that we proposed. Finally, we will develop an object-oriented analysis approach to help the system analysts to build a manufacturing information system for their own-purpose and own-characteristics.

系統建構時,提供一個領域模型,對特定領域做分析被視為能成功提昇軟體再使用的重要因素,再利用物件導向〞繼承〞的特性,將重覆出現的物件屬性及操作程序設為通用,可提昇軟體的再用性。另外藉由物件導向中〞類別化〞與〞封包〞的特性,其所呈現之資訊隱藏與抽象化之概念,將使所建立的領域模型更為明顯易懂。 而近幾年來,隨著銀行新業務的開放及激烈的競爭環境,銀行的資訊系統需求不斷增加。面臨著新業務的開發整合、經營管理技援系統的建立、及作業流程的改進等強烈需求,以傳統程序導向方法建立的銀行資訊系統即遭遇到軟體難以再使用與維護的困境。 本研究主要採用個案研究的方法,將一套現有銀行存款作業交易系統中的主要功能部份,以軟體再工程程序中反向工程的技術,依循本研究所提出之物件導向領域架構規格,經由轉化及精製,設計一個銀行存款款資訊系統領域模型。再經前向工程技術,產生一個物件導向銀行資訊系統雛型,以做為對此領域模型之實作及測試。由於存放款交易是每家銀行的基本業務,作業流程亦十分相似,在本研究中建立的領域模型可做為建立銀行資訊系統之參考,以此領域模型發展改良的系統將可有效的提昇程式再使用與維護的品質,對於銀行資訊系統不斷增加與變化的需求相信可提供一解決方案。 / Along with the recent deregulation trend in the banking industry at Taiwan, new requirements for Banking Information Systems are increasing. The systems developed using traditional procedure-based paradigm become a burden in terms of maintainability and reusability. When upgrading the existing application systems, although some of the domain concepts are reused, the generated software systems often include discrete repetitive pieces of code for the same function in the systems. Object-oriented programming is often touted as promoting software reuse. The inheritance and polymorphism characteristics in the object-oriented paradigm keep the generic attributes and operations in the parent level and remove their repetition from the child level. In this article, we present an object-oriented approach to develop domain models. Using a case study approach, we build an object-oriented domain model for the deposit and loan transaction systems in a bank based on the current system functionalities. The domain model which restructures the application semantics would hopefully reduce the redundancy and inconsistency in the new systems. Since the deposit and loan transactions air basic activities in the any bank, the domain semantics are very similar among banks under the same regulatory system at Taiwan. The domain model developed in this case study can be used as a core structure reference for local banking transaction systems.

超媒體專家決策支援系統在人力資源管理領域之應用研究 / A Hypermedia Expert Decision Support System For Human Resource Management

面臨半結構化及非結構化的決策問題,通常需要結合專家的知識、配合大量資料的處理及進行適當的模式運算,方能解決此類問題;人力資源管理所面臨的各種問題如:人力規畫、績效評估、教育訓練…等問題,亦屬於半結構及非結構的問題;因此,單一的電腦資訊系統如:管理資訊系統、決策動搖系統及專家系統,是無法有效處理此類問題;所以,整合資料、知識及模式的專家決策支援系統才是解決人力資源管理所面對問題的有效之道。   系統發展層次架構法,將整個系統發展過程區分成三個層次;應用層、概念層及實體層,而在此三層次之間透過邏輯對映及實體對映,以確保各層次之獨立性。在應用層中,利用超媒體方法中之節點-鏈結模式,表現出人力資源管理中相關之資料、知識、模式、畫面及介面之關係;在概念層中則利用物件導向方法,利用物件導向中之繼承、組合及參考關係,將應用層中之資料、知識、模式、畫面及介面歸納成各種物件類別,藉以產生人力資源管理超媒體專家決策支援系統之物件導向概念模式圖;在實體層中則利用軟體整合方式,將資料庫軟體、知識庫軟體、模式庫軟體及介面製作軟體整合在一起,以完成人力資源管理超媒體專家決策支援系統之實體建置及設計。   因此,在人的價值日益提高,人力資源管理的重要性亦相對提昇之下,使用傳統資訊系統已不足以解決人力資源管理之問題;唯有利用整合性專家決策支援系統之觀念架構配合系統發展層次架構法所發展之人力資源管理超媒體專家決策支援系統,才能解決目前人力資源管理資訊系統所面臨的困難;所以,本研究之目的即在探討人力資源管理超媒體專家決策支援系統之管理功能、整合架構、模式方法、發展流程與作業環境,以引導系統的開發、使用及管理,並且提出一個處理績效評估之原型系統以資驗證。

由於資訊科技的快速演進、國際網際網路資源的蓬勃發展,以及多媒體型態之應用日益普及,以紙本式圖書為主的傳統圖書館受到相當大的衝擊。本論文即嘗試在現有圖書館環境下,以整體性的發展與應用為重點,從電子圖書館多媒體資訊服務系統應具有之管理功能、整合架構為考量,引用適當的模式方法、發展流程與作業環境,來引導系統的開發、使用及管理,並在校園網路環境下發展一原形系統以為驗證。   本研究採用開放性層次結構(Layer Structure)方法,規範系統發展程序並設定系統規格與標準,採用物件導向(Object-Oriented)方法建立系統之概念及實體模式,使用超媒體(Hypermedia)方法,來設計使用者介面及畫面之組織與呈現方式,並使用多媒體資料庫(Multimedia Database)方法建立系統之資料庫結構及管理功能。同時以軟體整合(Software Integration)方法建立系統實體發展及作業環境。   本論文所發展之電子圖書館多媒體資訊服務系統,除具有目前一般自動化圖書館之功能,並提供較書目查詢更完整之多媒體文件檢索及全文瀏覽功能,同時為結合Internet網路資源,建置一個館藏WWW Server,更可結合其他Internet上之網路資源,進而將相關之網路資源,加入本地關鍵字索引範圍中。由於本研究結合自動化圖書館及未來虛擬圖書館作業之功能,為一適合現在並具未來發展之電子圖書館多媒體資訊服務系統,具有相當之彈性及擴充性。

英語教學知識結構及教學流程架構之研究 (以九年一貫國小英語課程為例)

教育部自九十年度起實施九年一貫英語教學課程,由於學生程度不一,班級人數過多,教學媒體不足,研究報告指出應該成立英語教學資源中心,提高教師教學品質,規劃線上輔助教學,以增進學生學習機會及學習效果。 本研究從知識管理角度探索英語線上輔助教學,建構英語教學內容知識結構模式及教學知識流程架構;俾使線上教學具備語意查詢機制,開啟英語線上輔助教學創新模式。 英語教學內容知識框架(English Content Knowledge Ontology)抽象化類別具多重之階層、對等及相依關係。將內容知識抽象化類別實體化,其類別與實體之集合,即為本範例所建構之知識框架。 本研究引介物件導向,視內容知識為一個物件,具有不同之狀態及行為;將狀態與行為封裝,物件與物件間藉由訊息進行協調動作,達成整體運作之功能。學生亦為學習流程中一個物件,具有不同之屬性及行為;透過訊息之交換、進行任務協調,達成學習之最終目的。 以UML表示法建構英語線上學習流程三大模型:功能模型─使用案例模型將使用者對系統的需求模型化,靜態模型─物件模型抽出物件,表現出靜態的結構,動態模型─表示出物件與物件之間訊息的流向。 研究中試圖探討有關國小英語線上輔助教學網站之現況。未來期望架構具備語意檢索機制之網站,採自由選擇學習、多元適切評量模式,能紀錄分析學習及測試結果,建立學習紀錄(包括學習風格、習性、態度及學習效果等等)以期增進學生學習機會,分享教學資源。 藉由新的學習模式,學生可以獲得自我成長的資源,同時希望可以喚起更多關懷英語教學網站之研究與發展,為我們的孩子及新的學習方式注入更多生命力。本研究所建構之模式,希望能作為未來發展兒童英語線上學習之參考,以提昇國內兒童英語教育實施之成效。 關鍵詞:九年一貫英語課程、知識管理、知識本體、語意資訊檢索、物件導向、UML / The Grade 1-9 English Teaching Curriculum was put into practice by the Ministry of Education in 2001. Due to the fact that there are too many students in each class and that there is not enough teaching media, the students fall into different levels in English proficiency. Some research concluded that an English Teaching Resource Centre should be established to enhance teachers’ teaching quality and to provide an on-line teaching aid, hence to give the students more learning opportunities and to improve their learning effects. In this study, the on-line English teaching aid was discussed from the viewpoint of Knowledge Management. English Content Knowledge Ontology and English Teaching Knowledge Flow Architecture were suggested to provide an on-line teaching aid with a semantic retrieval system so as to initiate an innovative model for on-line English teaching aids. The English Content Knowledge, Ontology, a model of English domain knowledge, defines the concepts and their attributes, as well as the multiple relationships between the concepts: Class(vertical), Reciprocity(horizontal), and dependency(grouping)relationships. An “instance” is hypostatized from an abstract class, and the integration of the abstract classes and the instances represent the English Content Knowledge Ontology built up in this research. The present study has introduced Object Oriented concept that deemed the English content knowledge as an object and as an instance with different Attributes and Operations. Encapsulated attributes and operations engaged in coordination among different objects through exchanges of messages, and resulted in the achievement of the overall system operations. Meanwhile, each student would also be an object in the course of the study and possess different attributes and operations. The final goal, learning, could be achieved through the exchanges of messages for mission coordination. UML was applied in the study to construct the three major models in the on-line English learning. Functional Model – Use case Diagram to model the user’s requirements for the system; Static Model – Class Diagram to abstract an object for showing a static architecture; Dynamic Model – Sequence Diagram to describe the information flow among the objects. This research also attempted to explore the present circumstances of the primary school’s on-line English teaching aid websites. It illustrated the needs of developing architecture for a website with semantic retrieval functions, multiple choice ways of learning and diversified modes for learning assessments It will be able to record and analyse the learning effect and test the result, building up learning records (including learning style, habit, attitude and learning effect) in order to provide each student with more learning opportunities and to share teaching resources with all of the teachers. Through the new learning model, the students are able to obtain learning resources to grow by themselves. The present study also urged more concern on the research and development of the English teaching website in order to provide more vitality to our children and their new learning methods. The model built up in this study may serve as a reference in the development of effective on-line English learning for children. 服務與行銷管理是在高度競爭市場中企業重視的課題,由於近年來資訊技術的發展,使得過去屬於較理想化的概念,如關係行銷、一對一行銷等,都可以獲得實現,新概念的體現就是客戶關係管理。 客戶與企業的互動模式多元且複雜,各家學者對客戶關係管理的面向觀察也不一,使得企業與軟體公司開發CRM系統功能的著眼點也不同。現今與客戶服務相關的整合、分析系統,大都著重在銷售的自動化或資料的分析,忽略了現階段企業與顧客的互動中,人員仍扮演重要的角色。基於彌補上述系統對人員支援不足的缺點,本研究提出一個基礎的應用於客戶服務的知識分享系統架構,目的是藉由知識管理理論的實踐,希望能保留企業與客戶互動過程中的服務經驗與知識,由這些訊息中可得知客戶較實際的需求,且經由企業內部知識交互作用,可激發出新的策略與構想;累積的經驗也可使新進人員較易上軌道,資訊的透通讓每位員工都能方便取得,也較能提供顧客齊一的服務。 本研究是經由文獻的探討與應對企業的實際需求,介定系統之參與者與系統操作功能,歸納提出上述知識分享系統之整體架構模型。本研究所提出之系統架構,僅是知識管理與客戶關係管理應用的一小部份,因此模型中除原知識分享系統的功能外,也加入與其他系統整合之介面。本研究後半部份是經由物件導向方法,對本研究所提出之系統架構,作模型分析與設計,所有結果均使用UML表示式與圖形呈現。最後本研究使用Java Base的系統開發工具,以信用卡服務為領域環境,建立一個本研究所提模型的雛形系統,驗證本研究之可行性。 關鍵字:知識管理、客戶關係管理、物件導向分析與設計、UML、Java / Service and market management are important works to enterprises in high competition market. Due to the great progress in information technology, service provider can use new promotion skill, for example: relationship marketing, one to one marketing. Interactive types between customers and enterprise are full of variety. Because Customer Relationship Management (CRM) isn't unique theory, CRM systems are focus on different purposes. Today, most of CRM systems were created for automatic sales, but forgot to give a proper support to people still the core of service cycle. Therefore, this thesis studied a knowledge management system how to work in customer service cycle. It gave functions for service employee support about experience sharing, strategy decision support, getting customers' knowledge, etc. Through the literature survey and the observation of enterprise operation, we first try to propose a model for knowledge sharing system applied to customer service. Next step, we used the object-oriented approach to construct detail objects for the proposed model. Finally, we developed a prototype on credit card service domain to show that how knowledge sharing could be attained in this system model. 在80年代末期與90年代初期所討論的企業運籌管理與企業再造,都是強調在企業本身的流程管理的合理化、標準化與自動化,然而在90年代末期,由於網際網路商業應用的盛行,使得原本在90年代初期學術界所提的供應鏈管理變得更加可行。供應鏈管理重視在企業間的流程整合,使供應鏈能達到整體的流程最佳化,以提供最終使用者一個低成本、高服務品質的產品,其重點即在企業間的流程整合,運用資訊科技以達到此目的是必然的。雖然供應鏈管理被提出已有十多年之久,但是文獻中大部分僅針對管理層面上,對於系統方面卻仍然停留在企業內運籌系統,因此本研究將提出一系統架構,以達成供應鏈管理之目標。 本研究將依據關於供應鏈管理.供應鏈管理系統相關之文獻,根據文獻之結果,設計一套供應鏈管理系統架構之模型,並且使用物件導向軟體開發之技術與UML建立物件模型,最後選擇其中一功能,開發一雛形系統以驗證此架構之可行性。 本研究希望達成以下的目標:1)利用軟體系統以達成供應鏈之流程整合之目標,;2)建立一供應鏈系統架構模型,以輔助資訊廠商或企業開發供應鏈系統時之系統架構參考模型;3)與遺產系統(legacy system)結合,使用XML,與物件導向技術SOAP,提供遺產系統與供應鏈系統一個整合方案;4)降低系統使用障礙,利用WWW為人機介面,可以降低使用者使用進入障礙;5)降低系統導入成本,利用Internet的特性,企業不一定需要將系統購回,可以藉由網路,到供應鏈應用系統提供者,使用系統。 / Supply chain management (SCM) is the integration of business processes from end consumeis through original suppliers that provides product, services and infoimation. By this definition, we know that SCM is a series of management processes across firms forming a supply chain network. Cooper et al. [1] stated that those processes are customer relationship management, customer service management, demand management, order fulfillment, manufacturing flows management, procurement, product development and commercialization. In this paper, we propose an architecture and an object-oriented (00) model of SCM systems. This architecture contains three main components. The first one is "System Portal" , which is an interface between users and the system objects. The second one named "Object Repository" , which is used to store objects of the SCM system, makes the development, management and usage of these objects easier. The third one is "Database" , which is a universal database to store all data of the SCM system. Then, an 00 Model is developed based on this proposed architecture. This 00 model is graphically depicted using Unified Modeling Language (UML). We believe that the proposed architecture and 00 model in this paper can be used as a reference architecture and a reference model to help system developers to easily build their-owned SCM systems.

建構物件與物件關聯資料庫工作量產生器 / Toward a Generalized Object-Oriented and Object-Relational Database Workload Generator

本研究以使用者需求導向為設計原則,提出了建構物件與物件關聯資料庫工作量產生器的發展方式,以解決(1)一般績效評估標準規格因只針對特定應用領域,而無法周詳考慮到使用者的特定需求問題;(2)廠商所發展的工作量產生器則因為可能針對其產品的特定領域作設計與測試,而失去了公正性之問題。我們的目地就是希望能以此資料庫工作量產生器的設計方式使測試資料庫效能的工作量,對使用者而言更具一致性、代表性與正確性,如此測試之結果對使用者而言才能更具意義。 我們首先分析SQL3與ODMG標準,以此構成物件關聯與物件導向資料庫之一般化的工作量模式。然後,再著手以使用者需求導向為原則,設計工作量產生器的運作方式。最後,我們實際發展了工作量產生器的雛形系統,以讓使用者能真正依其需求建立工作量並實際作績效測試,並提供給欲建構物件與物件關聯資料庫工作量產生器的人員作參考。 / This thesis provides a method of establishing Object-Oriented and Object-Relational Database Workload Generator, and this method is designed from the perspective of the user's requirements for addressing two problems: (1) the benchmark standards are generally designed to specific domains, so they are unable think comprehensively users' special requirements. (2) the database workload generators that developed by database providers may lose justice, because they might be designed to their products' special domain. Our purpose is that hope this method can make the Workload more consistent, more representative and more accurate and the test result will be more meaningful to users. Firstly, we analyze the SQL3 and ODMG standards to compose the ORDBs' and OODBs' generalized Workload Models. Then, we design our Workload Generator form the perspective of the user's requirements. Finally, we develop the Workload Generator's prototype system, it can allow users to create Workload according to their actual requirements and really do the benchmark test, and furthermore can provide a reference resource to the people who want to develop ORDB and OODB Workload Generator.
