Considering this discussion, we will also review important historical aspects related to Carl Gustav Jung´s trajectory leading to his encounter with the field of Alchemy. We considered this topic while realizing that many of the hypotheses developed by Jung in the field of Analytical Psychology have an effect on the usual perception of Alchemy, and furthermore, in the field of History of Chemistry itself, as we have found references to C.G. Jung´s work in the works of important historians of science. This research is based on the complete works of Jung, focusing on Psychology and Alchemy, and on a number of books and papers on History of Chemistry. In our analyses, we have found works, whose authors found in C.G.Jung´s hypotheses on the one hand a contribution from Psychology, complementary to the vision of History of Science, and, on the other hand, an incomplete or unsatisfactory model / O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar a crítica à interpretação junguiana da alquimia no campo da historia da ciência. Tendo em vista essa discussão, também passamos em revista importantes aspectos históricos relacionados à trajetória de Carl Gustav Jung rumo ao seu encontro com a alquimia. Consideramos a escolha desse tema ao averiguar que muitas das hipóteses criadas por Jung, no âmbito da psicologia analítica, vêm exercendo efeito sobre a percepção comum da alquimia, assim como no próprio campo da história da química, sendo encontradas referências à obra do psiquiatra nos trabalhos de importantes historiadores da ciência, assim como nas pesquisas de autores de menor expressão. Para a realização desta dissertação fizemos uso das obras completas de Jung, com foco no livro Psicologia e Alquimia, assim como de diversos livros e artigos de estudiosos da história da química. We investigated the Collected Works and letters of Carl Gustav Jung and also books and articles of post-Jungian authors who contributed to the development of the theme. It was highlighted that images have a legitimate existence and are a spontaneous phenomenon of the psyche. Thereby it was emphasized that the contents of the psyche have the same value of reality that the material world. The analytical psychology defines creativity as something natural, a autonomous complex and fundamental quality of the psyche. The work increased the understanding of creativity as open space for the images of the unconscious to present themselves / O presente trabalho teve como objetivo investigar o conceito de criatividade na psicologia analítica. Foram utilizados textos das Obras Completas e cartas de Carl Gustav Jung. Nos autores pós-junguianos investigaram-se livros e artigos que contribuíram para o desenvolvimento do tema. Destacou-se a noção de que as imagens possuem uma existência legítima e são um fenômeno espontâneo da psique, e que seus conteúdos possuem o mesmo valor de realidade que o mundo material. A psicologia analítica define criatividade como algo natural da psique, um complexo autônomo e uma qualidade fundamental. O trabalho ampliou a compreensão da criatividade como abertura de espaço para que as imagens do inconsciente possam se apresentar à consciência.

The theme is justified mainly because it is an intrinsic step to the family cycle and not much exploited so far in Brazilian scientific research. So it has importance both in academia and to women demonstrated suffering at this stage. Using a qualitative approach, the study was used of questionnaire socio-demographic and semi-open interview, besides having been based on concepts of Analytical Psychology. It is considered that the majority of mothers interviewed showed negative reaction to the departure of the children, with feelings of sadness, loneliness, grief and abandonment. We conclude that the quality of the marital relationship and family that the mother established throughout her life may have influenced the type of reaction experienced at empty nest stage / Esta pesquisa procura observar e entender os sentimentos e comportamentos das mães frente à fase do ninho vazio . A temática se justifica, principalmente, por se tratar de uma etapa intrínseca ao ciclo familiar e por não ser muito explorada, até então, em pesquisas científicas brasileiras. Por isso, apresenta importância tanto no meio acadêmico, quanto para mulheres que demonstram sofrimento nesta fase. Com abordagem qualitativa, o trabalho se utilizou de questionário sócio demográfico e entrevista semiaberta, além de ter se baseado em conceitos da Psicologia Analítica. Considera-se que a maioria das mães entrevistadas apresentou reação negativa com a saída dos filhos, com sentimentos de tristeza, solidão, angústia e abandono. Conclui-se que a qualidade do relacionamento conjugal e familiar que a mãe estabeleceu ao longo da vida pode ter influenciado o tipo de reação vivida na fase do ninho vazio

In such case, the poetical art, whose psychological meaning was already salient for Jung, seems to constitute a privileged field for manifestation of symbolic contents. Our research consists of examining the symbols related to Feminine Archetypal expressed by the poem Mar Absoluto (Absolute Sea), authored by Cecilia Meireles. We aim to understand which aspects of this archetype are expressed by its writing, how they are expressed and its imagistic contents. We adopt a method of qualitative analysis, based on ontologic and epistemologic concepts of the Jungian paradigm. The symbolic images were submitted to the analysis method proposed by Penna (2009), called archetypal symbolic process, which aims to understand and assimilate the meaning of the symbol. To do so, we use the process of symbolic amplification, which consists of widening the context of images, relating it to mythology, folklore and art, aiming to place it in the panorama of universal subjects of the human experience. Thus, we hope "to translate" such images in concepts, and possibly to know its meanings in depth. The analysis results show that the symbols expressed by the poem join both polarities of the maternal archetype, that is, they refer to the Good-Bad Mother. The sea appears experienced as a Great Mother Sea / Na tarefa de investigar o funcionamento da psique, cabe à psicologia estabelecer um diálogo com diversas áreas onde a alma encontre possibilidades de expressão. Nesse sentido, a arte poética, cuja importância psicológica já fora ressaltada por Jung, parece-nos constituir um campo privilegiado para a manifestação de conteúdos simbólicos. Nossa pesquisa consiste na análise dos símbolos relacionados ao Feminino Arquetípico presentes no poema Mar Absoluto, de Cecília Meireles. Objetivamos compreender quais aspectos deste arquétipo ganham expressão em sua escrita, de que forma e por meio de qual conteúdo imagético. Para tanto, adotamos uma metodologia qualitativa baseada nos pressupostos ontológicos e epistemológicos do paradigma junguiano. As imagens simbólicas selecionadas no poema foram submetidas ao método de análise proposto por Penna (2009), denominado processamento simbólico arquetípico, o qual visa compreender e assimilar o significado do símbolo. Para tanto, utilizamo-nos do procedimento de amplificação simbólica, o qual consiste no alargamento do contexto das imagens, relacionando-as à mitologia, ao folclore e às obras de arte, no intuito de situá-las no panorama dos temas universais da experiência humana. Dessa forma, buscamos "traduzir" tais imagens para alguma forma de conceituação que nos possibilite conhecer seus significados em profundidade. Os resultados da análise mostram que os símbolos presentes em Mar Absoluto reúnem as duas polaridades do arquétipo materno, ou seja, referem-se à Mãe Bondosa-Má, sendo o mar experienciado como uma Grande Mãe Marítima

The dissertation was conducted based on Jungian approach and was used a qualitative research methodology. The book Dom Casmurro has been read and mapped to perform the synopsis and analysis of its characters and contexts. The analysis was divided into three stages and was focused on the feminine characters, the matter of the anima to the male characters and the relationship between Capitu and Bentinho. The research suggests that the patriarchal culture in Brazil of the nineteenth century, femininity and masculinity could not be fully lived, with both women and men wearing a mask for the expected socially to their genders inhibiting deeper experiences of their personalities. In this way aspects of femininity in women characters and aspects of the anima in men had little chance of integration, hindering gender relations. We can think that today are still present the same issues relating to women, since it is a process that is not yet completed in the society / Esta dissertação teve como objetivo compreender a expressão do feminino retratado na obra Dom Casmurro (1899) de Machado de Assis através da análise dos personagens do livro, suas dinâmicas psíquicas e a relação existente entre homem e mulher. A dissertação foi realizada com base na abordagem junguiana e utilizou-se a metodologia qualitativa de pesquisa. O livro Dom Casmurro foi lido e mapeado para realização da sinopse e análise de seus personagens e contextos. A análise foi dividida em três momentos e foi focada nas personagens femininas, na questão da anima para os personagens masculinos e na relação entre Capitu e Bentinho. A pesquisa sugere que na cultura patriarcal do século XIX no Brasil, a feminilidade e a masculinidade não puderam ser vivenciadas plenamente, sendo que tanto as mulheres quanto os homens vestem uma máscara referente ao esperado socialmente para seus gêneros inibindo vivências mais profundas de suas personalidades. Neste sentido aspectos do feminino nas personagens mulheres e aspectos da anima nos homens tinham pouca possibilidade de integração, dificultando as relações de gênero. Podemos pensar que na atualidade ainda estão presentes as mesmas questões referentes ao feminino, visto que é um processo que ainda não se completou na sociedade

It is considered that the archetypes are basic patterns of psychic organization, without content a priori, present from birth, that mediate the experience of children around fundamental issues of human life and are filled with content coming from personal experiences. The population consisted of 55 children, divided into two groups, with four to five years of age, enrolled in a public school located in the metropolitan region of Curitiba. Activities were collecting the dream material of children in school hours, using design as a vehicle for the exhibition of the story of the dream. The method of analysis was qualitative, creating categories of analysis from the material obtained, based on assumptions of Analytical Psychology. It was concluded that the activity with dreams proved to be an effective channel to observe the unconscious dynamics of children, including aspects of the developmental trajectory of ego and consciousness expansion. It was observed that the content of the dream in childhood is not random, but has a sense of being present evidence archetypal mother, father and brother, important in the structuring of the personality, with its specific functions. How organizing element of the initial experiences of autonomy and symbol of the ego, the archetype of the hero was observed in a diffuse form, corresponding to what was named "Hero of the spectrum", including the symbolic unconscious formations that translate into images of shelter and differentiation, collaborative features, aspects instinctive images of confrontation and resistance indicative of individuality / O presente estudo teve por finalidade observar a expressão onírica de crianças, selecionando desse meio, para uma análise mais apurada, as imagens concernentes aos arquétipos, evidenciados nas produções infantis, e que são importantes no processo de desenvolvimento do ego e ampliação da consciência na infância. Considera-se que os arquétipos são padrões básicos de organização psíquica, sem conteúdo a priori, presentes desde o nascimento, que mediam a experiência da criança em torno de temas fundamentais da vida humana e são preenchidos por conteúdos advindos da vivência pessoal. A população foi composta por 55 crianças, divididas em dois grupos, entre quatro a cinco anos de idade, matriculadas em uma escola pública municipal situada na região metropolitana de Curitiba. Foram realizadas atividades de coleta do material onírico das crianças, em turno escolar, utilizando-se do desenho como veículo para a exposição do relato do sonho. O método de análise foi o qualitativo, criando-se categorias de análise a partir do material obtido, baseando-se em pressupostos da Psicologia Analítica. Concluiu-se que a atividade com os sonhos é canal eficaz para observar a dinâmica inconsciente das crianças, compreendendo aspectos da trajetória do desenvolvimento do ego e da expansão da consciência. Observou-se que o conteúdo do sonho na infância não é aleatório, mas possui sentido, estando presentes evidências dos arquétipos materno, paterno e fraterno, importantes na estruturação da personalidade, com suas funções específicas. Como elemento organizador das experiências iniciais de autonomia e símbolo do ego, o arquétipo do herói foi observado de forma difusa, correspondendo ao que se denominou espectro do herói , incluindo as formações simbólicas inconscientes que se traduzem em imagens de amparo e diferenciação, recursos colaborativos, aspectos instintivos, imagens de enfrentamento e resistência e indicativos de individualidade

Estudar a solidão por meio de um ponto de vista psicológico junguiano, o qual entende os fenômenos da psique como plurais, relacionados a aspectos pessoais e coletivos foi o objetivo principal deste trabalho. A partir do conceito junguiano de imagem, ou seja, perspectivas a respeito de qualquer ideia, conceito, sentimento ou percepção que são formados sobre o mundo, buscou-se analisar o que há nas imagens sobre a solidão presentes na contemporaneidade. Estudos nas ciências sociais e o filme Her contribuíram como fontes de imagens para a análise da solidão. O filme apresentou imagens com grande sensibilidade, plasticidade e potencial arquetípico capazes de aprofundar a ampliar o tema. A solidão também foi estudada como elemento importante no processo de desenvolvimento psíquico, como na formação da consciência, na diferenciação gradual da psique do bebê em relação à psique materna e no caminho de individuação, os quais representam movimentos estruturantes que têm seus fundamentos nos processos de separação e diferenciação. Três perspectivas mitológicas foram apresentadas como bases arquetípicas capazes de fornecer luz para a compreensão da solidão: o casamento sagrado de Eros e Psiquê, o mito de Narciso e a concepção de Dioniso e sua relação com o conceito de communitas. Reflexões sobre a interação dessas três perspectivas com a contemporaneidade foram realizadas. A conclusão da pesquisa é de que a solidão representa uma potencialidade de contato com a alma, de interiorização, envolvimento e intimidade, mas um cuidado inadequado pode resultar em um isolamento que promove estagnação psíquica. É um elemento necessário ao desenvolvimento psicológico, o qual precisa de relacionamento com outros elementos psíquicos como o amor, e que necessita ser recebido na contemporaneidade com mais respeito, paciência e delicadeza. A elaboração da solidão permite a consciência da singularidade e é essencial para a alteridade / To study loneliness through a Junguian psychological point of view, which understands the phenomenas of the psyche as plurals and related to personal and collective aspects was the main objective of this work. From the Jungian concept of image, i.e. perspectives about any idea, concept, feeling or perception that are formed concerning to the world, it sought to analyze what images about loneliness are present in contemporary times. Studies in the social sciences and the film Her contributed as sources of images for the analysis of loneliness. The film showed images with great sensitivity, plasticity and potential archetypal capable to further enlarge and deepen the subject. Loneliness was also studied as an important element in the psychic development process, as in the formation of conscience, the gradual differentiation of the baby\'s psyche in relation to maternal psyche and individuation path, which represent structural movements that have their foundations in the processes of separation and differentiation. Three mythological perspectives were presented as archetypal bases capable to shed some light to the understanding of loneliness: the sacred marriage of Eros and Psyche, the myth of Narcissus and the idea of Dionysus and its relationship with the concept of communitas. Reflections on the interaction of these three perspectives with contemporaneity were held. The conclusion of the research is that loneliness is a potentiality that provides contact with the soul, like internalization, involvement and intimacy, but its improper care may result in an isolation that promotes psychic stagnation. It is a necessary element to the psychological development, which needs to relate with other psychic elements like love, and needs to be received in the contemporary world with more respect, patience and delicacy. The preparation for loneliness allows the consciousness of uniqueness and is essential for otherness

Daar is van konsepte vanuit die analitiese sielkunde gebruik gemaak om kodes te identifiseer. Die navorser het deur die tegniek van inhoudsontleding die voorkoms van manifestasies van die kontraseksuele komplekse in die onderhoude bestudeer. Daar is bevind dat die erotiese aspekte van die konraseksuele komplekse by voorkeur in die bestudeerde advertensies aangewend is en dat deelnemers daarop gelet het. SUMMARY The purpose of this study was to investigate a style of advertising from the perspective of the Analytical Psychology. The style involves the depiction of a young man and woman in a state of interaction with one another. In an attempt to understand how the viewer experiences this, concepts from the Analytical Psychology of C.G. Jung were used. Jung claimed that the psyche contains constructs which he termed archetypes. Archetypes are ideas and predispositions, organisms are born possessing these. If the theory is correct, it can be assumed that these constructs will influence human behaviour. The archetypes responsible for initiating heterosexual interest are called the anima and the animus. The prevalence of different aspects of these in four television commercials as experienced by participants during interviews was studied by means of content analysis.
