Ypatingai smarkiai Klaipėdos senamiesčio teritorija nukentėjo per Antrąjį pasaulinį karą, tačiau laimei išliko dalis senųjų pastatų, kurie išlaikė architektūrines detales, pabrėžiančias šio krašto savitumą. Prasidėjus pokarinei statybai, plėtojant planinę ekonomiką, imtasi atkurti miesto pramonę bei uosto funkcijas. Viena gražiausių senamiesčio vietų – teritorija palei Kuršių marias ir Danės upę – buvo paversta pramonine bei uostą aptarnaujančia zona. Viešosios erdvės, gyvenamieji pastatai ir kitos paskirties objektai projektuojami sovietmečiu būdingu tipišku metodu. Gyvenamosios paskirties zona tikslingai plėtojama šiaurinėje miesto dalyje. Visuomenės poreikiams skirtos erdvės nukeliamos toliau nuo centro. Atkūrus Nepriklausomybę, požiūris į architektūrą ir urbanistiką radikaliai keitėsi. Šiandien atkuriami senieji Klaipėdos pastatai, tvarkoma ir atnaujinama Pilies teritorija. Sutvarkytas ir visuomenės poreikiams atiduotas Jono kalnelis. Planuose numatoma Žvejų gatvės rekonstrukcija – čia turėtų būti pėsčiųjų alėja. Vienas po kito dygsta projektai, kurių tikslas – Klaipėdos miesto istorines vietas pritaikyti rekreacinei veiklai, visuomenės poreikiams. Siekiama formuoti Klaipėdos – miesto prie jūros ir marių – įvaizdį. / An architecture and landscape of Klaipeda is formed due to historical circumstances. The development of public spaces was influenced of inconsistent Klaipeda urban, architectural processes and political, economic crisis. Particularly, old town area of Klaipeda suffered during the Second Worl war, but fortunatly remained part of the old buildings that have stood the architectural details, emphasizing the uniqueness of this region. The beginning of the post-war construction, development of planned economy have been taken to restore the city's industry and port functions. One of the most beautiful old town area is along the Curonian Lagoon and the River Dane, which was transformed into an industrial and port serving area. Public spaces, residential buildings and other objects designed by method of Soviet typical presence. Residential zone is appropriate expanded in the northern part of the city. The space for public demands is moved away from the center. Approach to architecture and urban planning has changed radically after restoration of independence. Today old buildings of Klaipeda are restored, castle area is managed and updated. The John’s hill is put in order and given to public interests. Anglers street Reconstruction is scheduled - there should be a pedestrian walkway. Meno ir technologijų sąveikos bei kūrybiškos naujų technologijų panaudojimo galimybės aktyviai atsispindi kūrybiniuose procesuose, tad darbe aptariami tarpdisciplininiai kontekstai, sietini su šiuolaikine Lietuvos tekstile ir jos sąsajomis su videomeno formomis. Meninės tekstilės santykio su video raiška tema Lietuvoje iki šiol plačiau netyrinėta, nors pastaraisiais metais vis daugiau kūrėjų ieškodami įdomesnių ir išskirtinesnių raiškos būdų pasitelkia video raišką praktiniam kūrinio įgyvendinimui. Tad šiame darbe tarpdiscipliniškumas šiuolaikinėje tekstilėje apmąstomas iš praktinės perspektyvos, pabrėžiant jos santykį su video. Interaction of arts with technology and the possibilities of involving new technologies in creating arts are actively reflected in creative processes, so in this work is discussed the interdisciplinary contexts, which are linked with contemporary Lithuanian textile and its relation with different form of video art. Even though during recent years many artists choose to use video resolution in order to present their work in a more interesting and unusual way, until now the relation between textile as a form of art and video usage was not thoroughly discussed in Lithuania. Therefore in this work the interdisciplinarity of contemporary textile is presented from the practical side while underlining its collaboration with video art. Gathered examples indicates modern trends and artists needs to have a moving images. Prekių ženklų (brand‘ų) grafika ne mažiau nei pati prekė daro poveikį vartotojams – įkvėpia, inspiruoja ir aktyvuoja įvairias psichologines galias. Ryšys tarp psichologinės, neapčiuopiamos prekės ženklo pusės ir tas savybes vaizdu įkūnijančios grafikos nėra paprastas. Vartotojiškame pasaulyje jis veikia kaip tiksliai suprogramuotas manipuliacijos mechanizmas ir vartotojo suvokiamas išmoktais reikšmių kodais. / Graphics of the brands exerts no less influence on the users than the commodity itself – it inspires, incites and activates different psychological powers. The link between the psychological, intangible side of the brand and graphics embodying these features by means of an image is not simple. In the consumer world it operates as an precisely programmed mechanism of manipulation and is perceived by the user in terms of the learned codes of meanings.

Tiek kūrybos procese, tik užbaigtame kūrinyje man svarbiausia yra paties vaizdavimo proceso preparavimas. Savo darbuose stengiuosi balansuoti tarp kūrinį sudarančių elementų ženkliško autoreferentiškumo, tapybos stilistinio autoreferentiškumo ir procesiškumo bei bandymo ženklų ir nuorodų pagalba kurti asociacijų ir būsenų tinklą. Projekto pavadinimas ( Vyksmo vieta ) yra pasitelkiamas kaip dviguba nuoroda. Viena vertus, yra nurodoma į drobės paviršių kuriame yra konstruojamas kūrinys. Kita vertus, pavadinimas veikia kaip nuoroda į įsivaizduojamą ženklų ir asociacijų tinklo kuriamo pasakojimo veiksmo vietą. / My paintings aim at making a preparation of the process of depicting. It applies to both - painting as a completed image and the process of making it. I am balancing between the signifying autoreferntiality of each element in my painting, autoreferentiality of the process of constructing the painting and the network of associations and perceptions generated by signs and references. The title of the project ("Place of occurrence") is used as a double reference. On one hand, it refers to the canvas itself on which the painting is being constructed. On the other hand, it refers to a place of a story, generated by the interplay of signs, references and associations.

Mano bakalauro darbas vadinasi “Matai, čia esu aš”. Šio darbo tikslas – panaudojant šiuolaikines išraiškos priemone ir technologiją įdomiai pateikti mane dominusią problemą: aktoriaus menamo personažo ir paties aktoriaus asmenybės sutapatinimas žiūrovo sąmonėje. Kuris yra tikrasis? Kuriuo lengviau būti? Ką apskritai reiškia būti savimi? Šiuo darbu noriu atkreipti mūsų dėmesį į tai, kad toks sutapatinimas neskatina žiūrovo kritiškai mąstyti, o aktorius būna labai destruktyvus, pavyzdžiui, skaudus V. Šapranausko atvėjis. Temą pateikti pasirinkau reklaminio plakato formą. Tačiau formatas nestandartinis – trys plakatai 70x290 (cm), atspausta ant audinio. Tai yra mano fotografuoti konkrečių aktorių portretai. Dalis veido yra aktorius realiame gyvenime, dalis su jo kuriamo personažo grimu. Papildoma priemonė dviprasmiškumui pabrėžti – dalinamas į spalvotą ir nespalvotą dalis. Portretai yra papildomi C. Chandler “Aš, Fellini” knygos mintimis apie aktoriaus darbą ir pateikiama pagrindinė darbo žinutė “Matai, čia esu aš”. Tokį plakatų dydį ir technologiją pasirinkau todėl, kad yra numatyta plakatus eksponuoti skirtingose aplinkose. Didelis mastelis tam, kad plakatai taptų ryškiu aplinkos akcentu, o atspaudas ant audinio pasirinktas tam, kad būtų lengva transportuoti ir eksponuoti. Atlikdama šį darbą turėjau pademonstruoti gebėjimus pabrėžti problemą, pasirinkti išraiškias priemones, labiausiai atitinkančias mano situacijoje. The aim - use of modern means of expression and technology to give perception of this problem: the character of an actor and the actor's personal identification in the minds of the viewer. Which is true? Which is easier to be? What does it mean to be true yourself? This work is trying to draw our attention to the fact that such identification does not encourage the viewer to think critically, and the actor is very destructive like in such severe case as V. Šapranauskas. This topic was chosen to be presented in a promotional poster form: non-standard format - three posters 70x290 (cm), printed on fabric. Portraits of specific actors were used from my personal photo shoot. Half of an actor’s face is from a real life and the other part is made with a makeup which represents its character. An additional measure to emphasize the ambiguity – photo division into colored and black and white parts. These portraits has added thoughts from a book of C. Chandler, "I, Fellini" and the main thesis message "Look this is me". The exact size and technology was chosen because this poster is supposed to be exhibited in different environments and places: a large scale in order to make posters bright and ambient accent and the printing on the fabric - for an easy transportation and display. It is grounded on two parts: „Actors work with himself“ and „Actors work with role“. After getting mastered in this parts, the actor is joined with role in natural way. Jei pasirinkta profesija ir realizuojama gyvenimo prasmė, pasiekiama gyvenimiška vertybė subjektu sudaro vieningą visumą, tai profesinė veikla įgauna esminį, gyvenimo prasmės pobūdį. Tačiau jei pagrindinės subjekto gyvenimiškos vertybės glūdi ne profesijoje, tai ji yra tik šių vertybių realizavimo priemonė. <p> In this thesis, I strive to expose societal rules and regulations that constrict and restrict our social interactions in a way that promotes prejudice and xenophobia. Through interacting with the series of sculptures, viewers are given the opportunity to question these societal norms and start a process of self-reflection to truly understand the freedom that comes without prejudice. Interaction is the main element that ties the series of works together, to form a seamless journey of self-discovery. The following artists are discussed in relation to this series of work: Niki de Saint Phalle and Bj&ouml;rk Gu&eth;mundsd&oacute;ttir. Their art works share the same spirit of liberation and social revolution.</p>
